e wavy/curly hair and was a bit worried about a professional handling it, but she knew exactly what she was doing and could understand the struggles of curly hair. Communication was great. She sends you a list of things that you can do to get ready beforehand and will answer any questions leading up to the big day. She was also incredibly accommodating by adding a second artist last minute when our timeline had changed. Most importantly, Emily gives off an incredibly warm vibe and has a calming presence that helped me relax the morning of my wedding. Would definitely recommend!!

Emily was so communicative about logistics and flexible with the inevitable last minute chaos of wedding day. She made great suggestions for our makeup and really helped us look our best. I wanted a light, natural look, and she rmade this happen but also helped the makeup be vivid enough to really pop in photos. There's no one better to make your dream look a reality on your wedding day!

my wedding - Emily creatively combined my favorite pieces of the inspiration pictures and astounded me with the result! We workshopped the vision a bit before my wedding, and she absolutely nailed the half-up loose braid (going for Rapunzel/princess vibes) on a ridiculously hot & humid day. She made sure my mom and MOH were comfortable putting in the veil and taking it out where it wouldn't mess up the 'do. She and a partner did the hair and make-up for all of my bridal party, and it was a perfect morning with them! 10/10!!

She was able to curate gorgeous hairstyles for all my bridesmaids. ired of vendors trying to upsell or price-gouge my husband & me. Emily’s trasparency & openness was such a relieving breath of fresh air. Her rates are clearly listed on her website. When we called to discuss a quote, she was not only receptive to my makeup ideas & the vibe of the wedding, she was also understanding of one bridesmaid wanting to do her makeup because of severe skin allergies. (I had some other artists pressure me to get her makeup done as well. Can you imagine a bridesmaid getting an allergic reaction on your wedding day?) 2. I got my makeup trial done several days before the wedding as I was coming from out of town. The week leading up to a wedding is stressful for anyone, but Emily’s soothing presence put me at ease. The trial was probably the most relaxed I felt the entire week. All of that was on top of the fact that she made my vision come to life. I wanted a bolder look than I think is typical of wedding makeup & she was more than capable of delivering that look. 3. We had a relatively small wedding so our venue was smaller & didn’t have a dedicated bridal suite. The day of the wedding, it was impressive how Emily was able to set up a station in the event space itself, complete with full lighting. While she was doing my makeup, she was also accommodating to me having to pause every once in a while to answer questions about the setup. She was also able to work with the inevitable schedule slip that comes with a busy day. To top it all off, she upgraded my look from the trial on my wedding day & I was very satisfied. She was also able to give ideas & take input from my bridal party for their makeup, so they were also happy with their looks. She also left each of us with touch up kits, which we didn’t need in the end but it was good to have just in case. We all got the traditional makeup, which lasted very well from mid-afternoon to around 10pm (6-8 hours). Longer than that, you may want to consider the airbrush option. Go with Emily as your makeup artist for her well-honed artistry, honesty, & all-around professionalism!
