From the second she got there to the second she left, she got every photo I had ask for and she got them in multiple angles so I had so many options to choose from and every single one of them was crystal clear. The wedding photo album was delivered back to me in a shorter time than the time frame that was in the contract which I was SO happy about, because all you want after your wedding are the photos. I had met with a few companies (independent and more corporate) in the area, but when I found Emily as a referral through another local photographer I was drawn to her work. It’s earthy, down to earth, not overly posed, and just downright good stuff! Being as I had a tight budget, I wasn’t sure we would be able to make it work. But Emily was so personable and quick to reach out. We FaceTimed as soon as I expressed interest and she explained she could work with me- even threw in an engagement session shoot. It was when I got those photos back that I KNEW she would be a great fit for photographing our big day. We had so much fun and she was timely and easy to work with (an important asset for a photographer working with my silly husband who doesn’t really enjoy that kind of stuff). Not to mention the engagement photos really captured us as a couple and made me feel beautiful/so special. We met before to discuss day of details and she gave me the timeline/offered some great ideas of how to maximize our time. As for the day of, Emily and her assistant did not disappoint. They were timely/reliable. Emily is laid back, great with family and bridal party and eager to please. They both did such great job capturing all the details I wanted! I absolutely love all my photos and will cherish them forever. I don’t regret a single penny invested in the photography because Emily is a great worker and gets the job done with fines, fun and joy! My only real feedback would be to make sure you have your coordinator assist the assistant and Emily with finding family members/bridal party members for those after ceremony shots- I will admit this part could have gone more smoothly but it’s really not their fault because they didn’t know people on the list by face.
