My fiance and I live in Asheville, NC and planned a wedding in my hometown just outside of Pittsburgh. Emily was highly recommended by a family friend and I fell in love with her photos! I first met Emily when I returned to the Pittsburgh area to start the planning process for my wedding. She was so easy to work with and very flexible throughout the entire planning process. Closer to my wedding day, Emily asked me for a list of "must have photos" and her work went above and beyond my expectations and list. She is full of energy and kept a smile on everyone's face throughout the day. Emily stayed until the end of the reception and captured every important moment throughout the day. She even busted a few moves on the dance floor! While we were on our honeymoon, we received some sneak peak photos and could not wait to share them with our family and friends! About a week later, we received a slideshow of photos and could not wait to see the rest! Emily was very accommodating when I asked if she could send a photo of us for our thank you notes. She had a quick response and sent me a number of them to choose from, which was a very difficult decision because they were all perfect. We are extremely happy that we chose Emily to photograph our big day and hope to use her in the future!

Emily was the perfect choice to photograph our engagement shoot and wedding. Emily was so easy to work with even though I was planning long distance, communication was never a problem. She was always quick to respond to my questions or concerns and is really knowledgable. The best part was working with Emily the day of our wedding. She had asked for a list of my "must-have" pictures and she captured each sweet moment. She was so sweet, kind, calm, and relaxed I never worried about a thing all day. She was organized about gathering all the troops for pictures and took her time to get great shots. I had no idea where I wanted to do all the portraits at because I wasn't living in Pittsburgh and Emily took the time to scout gorgeous locations. Emily's second shooter was also as exceptional as Emily. Once the day got started, they both blended in and got great action shots. After the wedding, I had sneak peek photos coming in online within 2 weeks. Now after having all of my photos I can say Emily did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend Emily.

I used Emily Renee Photography for my wedding photos, and was very pleased. I not only loved my photos, but I was very happy with the entire process. Emily was very professional, and I didn't ever feel like I needed to ask her to make sure she photographed certain aspects of my wedding. She was very thorough without ever being in the way. While she was professional, I really felt that she made sure that my experience and photos were personalized. There wasn't anything I would have asked her to differently-4 stars! I will definitely use her for events in the future.

Planning our Pittsburgh Wedding from Seattle, Washington was a challenge but seeing her style of photography, I knew she would be perfect for our story and our venue! We never met until the day of our wedding because we were planning our Pittsburgh wedding from Seattle Washington but she made it so easy durning the planning stages that by the time the actual day came--it was a flawless process. The time she spends asking what shots of the families and what WE are looking for in our photographs and memories really shows in all of her results! She made us feel comfortable and candid throughout the day and I could not have been happier! I would highly recommend Emily and her team.
