When I first saw Emily's dresses I knew I had to have one. They were everything I wanted - delicate, ethereal and romantic. I ordered a dress to Australia where I live and was a little worried about ordering a dress I had never tried on but I am so pleased I did. Emily answered all of my emails immediately and nothing was too much trouble for her. She customised the dress to make it with short sleeves rather than long sleeves and sent me samples so I could select the perfect colour and fabric. My dress arrived about two months before the wedding and it was just perfection. The lace and tulle were incredible - so delicate and light. I had so many compliments on the wedding day and cannot imagine having felt anywhere near as wonderful in any other dress.

Emily was so sweet from the minute I reached out to her through to the completion of my wedding day. I ordered the seraphina gown in ivory and it absolutely blew me away. I had many worries about ordering a dress that would arrive a few months before the wedding considering I hadn’t been able to try a sample on, but Emily took my exact measurements (I sent probably 15 various measurements) and she tailored it perfectly. The fabrics she uses are incredible and are some of the softest materials I’ve ever felt. She was extremely responsive via email and even offered to personally make an alteration that I later decided to not change afterall. This was my dream wedding gown and I have not seen another like it still! Thanks Emily for your professionalism and sharing such a beautiful talent so all of us brides can feel gorgeous on our big day : )

Emily Riggs is an incredibly talented designer. I bought a stunning wedding gown, veil, crystal belt and beautiful hair piece from her 2014 collection. Obviously buying a wedding gown online can scary, but Emily made the experience easy. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and provided great feedback when I wasn't sure what choices to make. I really appreciated the amount of time and care that went into making sure I had all the information I needed throughout the process. When I received the gown + accessories everything was exactly as described on her website and in the many photos available on her site as well. No detail went unmissed. The beading was immaculate, and the tulle skirt was absolutely STUNNING. My dress arrived damaged and Emily Riggs Bridal refused to accept a return. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I wish I could give Emily Riggs Bridal a better review, because at first sight on her website, her dresses look gorgeous. When I initially looked at her gowns online, they were everything I ever wanted in a dress – whimsical, delicate, and unique. I loved the dresses so much that I decided to buy one online to wear for my wedding reception. I waited anxiously for 4 months, and finally the dress was delivered! I open the package, and… what?! The dress was ripped in two places right along the neckline in the front. I was horrified. My wedding was under a month away, and the dress I had so anxiously anticipated was unwearable. I immediately emailed her and informed her of the problem, and sent several pictures of the dress. I asked to return the dress, but would have settled for literally anything (partial refund? replacement lace so I could have the dress fixed somewhere else? some ownership that her company had screwed up?) She emailed back saying that the dress was “in perfect condition when she sent it to me, and she could not accept the return”…..and that was the last I heard from her. Please keep in mind this was less than a month before my wedding. For a company that touts expert craftsmanship on their website, and has a high price point, I did not expect such poor quality, horrible customer service, and lack of empathy. Also, the dress didn’t have a brand tag in it, which I found odd. It almost looked like it had been thrown together without much care (no tag, loose threads, no lining, rips in the neckline). Luckily, I was able to find a seamstress in my area who worked her magic on the dress. She fixed the neckline, but also had to completely redo most of the dress because of the amateur craftsmanship. Everything ended up fine because I found someone else to fix Emily Riggs Bridal's problem, but I was lucky. If you are considering buying an Emily Riggs Bridal gown for your wedding, I would HIGHLY encourage you to reconsider.
