Emily photographed our engagement pictures and our wedding last year, and there is no way we can fully express how grateful we are for her! From our first meeting with her, we felt like we had a friend and cheerleader hyping us up throughout the at-times stressful process of wedding planning, and we instantly knew that our day would be captured with expertise and care. Neither my husband or I are naturally comfortable in front of cameras, and she allowed us to feel confident and at ease. There were several moments on the morning of the wedding day where I was feeling overwhelmed, and Emily would just smile and encourage me to breathe and take a minute for myself; it was just the encouragement I needed, and she was invaluable to have with us on such an important day. We are in love with our photos and could not be happier with how Em captured us and our favorite people!

We hired Emily to be our wedding photographer and she did an excellent job! She made each step of the process easy and FUN. Her skills are top notch, she's super nice and kind, compassionate, creative, very easy to talk to and understands all the nuances of taking pics on the big day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer experience! We miss her already!

When we tell you that hiring Emily is hands down the best decision you can make when planning your wedding, we are not being the tiniest bit hyperbolic. From our day-one meeting, through our fairytale engagement shoot that looks like it literally came out of a magazine, to all of the incredible pre-planning communication and guidance, to the cheerleading in advance and most importantly day of, to the INSANELY GORGEOUS work she does - you cannot go wrong with this angel of a woman and artist. This was one area of the wedding we did not want to leave in just anyone's hands, and Emily met, matched and enhanced our vision completely. Her energy made us feel so incredibly comfortable, and her commitment to diversity and inclusion made us know that she was our girl forever. Do yourself a favor and hire her as far out as possible. She contributed so much to our planning process and helped us shape the kind of calm and positive vibe we wanted for the whole day. Thank you so much, Em - you're stuck with us now!! xoxo

There is the skill for photography, and there is the personality for photography. Emily has both. If you’re looking for a photographer that will be your best friend throughout the duration of the wedding planning process, Emily is your girl! She has an amazing eye for artistic photos, but she also evaluates your comfort level and works hard to make the day feel natural. Prior to working with her, I told Emily several hesitations that I had related to photos(including many of my insecurities), and Emily handled the situation with grace. I will forever cherish the photos that I got back Emily, because they’re the first that have truly made me feel beautiful. She was very reassuring throughout the whole process, and put herself in my shoes to really understand what makes me insecure, and how she can bring out the beauty of my insecurities. I appreciate her more than words could ever explain. If I were to plan my wedding over again, Emily would be the first vendor I’d reach out to. I hope to have her capture all of my life’s milestones.

Emily is a very special photographer and we feel so incredibly lucky that we had the opportunity to work with her for our engagement photos and for our wedding. She is kind, comfortable to work with, fun to be around, and phenomenal with her skills as a photographer. We adored our time with her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She made the photo shoots feel like you were just spending time with a friend. Her creativity and talents really are only outshined by personality. We truly do hope that we have a reason to work with her again in the future!

Where to even start? We hired Emily to capture our wedding in Southern Oregon and I cannot sing her praises enough. Not only did Emily get all of the shots - whether it be during the before dinner with a drone on the beach, during the most intimate ceremony moments, or while getting ready on a classic Polaroid - but she was as sweet as candy and just so easy to be around. Her kind-hearted and positive spirit was so welcomed on our wedding day and we cannot appreciate her enough. Oh - and not to mention, the photos? Phenomenal. They are already some of our most cherished possessions.

I don’t even know where to begin! I started planning my elopement about 1.5 years out. As an out of town bride, I really had no clue who to go with. No one to asked for recommendations! But, luckily for us, I stumbled upon Emily Skye Photography. I saw her portfolio and knew she would be down for an adventure! I had my heart set on getting married in front of a waterfall - with as few people present as possible. Emily (also being ordained) was an excellent choice. Over the course of the year and a half of planning, Emily was there every step of the way. She even hiked the trail and filmed it, so we could see what we were getting ourselves into. She met with me several times (via zoom) to walk me through timelines. She even gave us a box to mail my dress home after the ceremony! We literally had sneaks before we even sat down to dinner that night! I can’t say enough how wonderful she is! She captured some beautiful moments that I know we will cherish for the rest of our lives! I’m almost sad that our wedding is over because I feel like I’m losing a friend! I can’t recommend her enough, especially for those who are a little adventurous!

We hired Emily from a recommendation by our wedding coordinator and we were impressed with her website and her photography style. She helped craft the most perfect vignettes for photos to tell a story! She even sent us a link to an early sneak peek gallery within 3 days of the big day. I would recommend Emily for your wedding or event in the future!

We absolutely love Emily!!!!! She will make your wedding day fun and beautiful. Her photography style is amazing and showcases her love for each couple she photographs. Her passion for capturing the wedding day in the way we wanted is why we chose her from the beginning. Emily was the one to stay in constant contact, asking us how she could help in any way, always making sure we knew she was on our side. 10/10 would hire her again to do another event (and will in the future!). Neither my partner nor I had ever been photographed and were super nervous going to our engagement photo session and Emily instantly made our anxieties disappear!! She was warm, fun, professional and had a true passion for what she does! There are moments she captured that We weren’t even aware she was shooting! So candid and so beautiful! Truly captured us as a couple 💙 Her work is stunning with moody undertones and capturing moments that usually only exist in memories. We recommend Emily to anybody and everybody looking for photographer!
