I'm Emily, the Owner and Lead Planner behind the scenes, crafting unforgettable moments. My journey began with a degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Go Rebels! In Las Vegas I worked for a destination management company that taught me so much about the industry. From event management, to florals & signage design, custom builds, how to create transportation manifests, execute dine-arounds, oversee entertainment and so much more! In 2020 I moved to Northern Nevada and fell in love with wedding planning. My passion for wedding planning comes from connecting with couples behind the scenes and bringing their dream day to life. Some Fun Facts About Me: • Grew up as a gymnast and was on my college’s dance line • I love to rollerblade • Dog Mom to Maverick • Met my husband, Rusty, on the beach in Lake Tahoe • 90s Country Fan • Enneagram 3 • Breakfast is the best meal of the day • Married my best friend in South Lake Tahoe in December 2023

r we realized there is SO MUCH more that goes into this service. I don't think that I would have survived being a bride without her! I would seriously say that a planner (and Emily specifically) was our most valued vendor and just the most genuine person. Not only is Emily easy to work with, but she is calm, organized, and extremely on top of things. She advocated for us in every situation and planning meeting, saved us money in our budget, and made our actual wedding day at Tannenbaum Events Center go so seamlessly. At the end of the night our bridal party and family commented multiple times about how well she and her team executed every detail! We booked her "Wedding Management- Day of Coordination Package" which she customized to fit our needs, and detailed all tasks in the contract for us. But she really went above and beyond in so many ways. She and her team set up our decor so beautifully, managed guests while we did early bridal photos etc, managed all our vendors, and made sure the timeline was detailed, comprehensive, and adhered-to on the day. We had polaroid cameras at the wedding, and at the end of the night found that her team took many of us and guests during the whole event, and were so happy to look through some of the iPhone behind the scenes photos that she took and sent to use the same night. Grateful does not describe how much love we have for Emily and her team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

enjoy the day without me enlisting them to help with tasks. Emily and her team did everything I could have imagined and more. From multiple planning meetings, to helping us put together timelines, to reaching out to vendors beforehand, and putting out fires on the day of when we didn’t even know fires existed. Our wedding would not have been what it was without her expertise and we couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re planning a wedding or any event, Emily Taft Events should be your first call!

Emily was an absolute rockstar as our day-of wedding coordinator! Would you have expected SNOW/RAIN/HAIL for a late June Tahoe Wedding??? We weren't! Thank goodness we had Emily to...

help us pivot our plans without panic! From the first call we had with Emily, I felt completely at ease. She assisted us with communication with our vendors and even attended our rehearsal. She packed up all of my things in her own car to make sure the venue was perfectly set up the next day. On the wedding day itself, we had every challenge thrown our way—and Emily handled it all with quick thinking and expertise. We delayed the outdoor reception, her team dried off the furniture, set up the tables and thanks to her, we were still able to have the beautiful outdoor reception I had dreamed of, and everything went off seamlessly. I can’t imagine our wedding day without her. If you want someone who is calm under pressure, incredibly organized, and willing to go above and beyond to make your day perfect, Emily is the one!!! She is AMAZING!

made it completely seamless. Emily just handled everything — from the little quirks that popped up during planning to the inevitable curveballs on the actual day — with such ease and confidence. Having her and her team there on the day made all the difference. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to actually enjoy myself, which is rare when you’re the host! At one point there was even a minor medical situation with a guest, and Emily took charge so calmly and efficiently that it never turned into a drama — everyone was fine, and most people probably didn’t even realize it happened. She’s amazing at what she does, and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat.

t venue, along with 3 different hotels for guests, but Emily really nailed all of the details and coordinating with the other vendors. Her recommendations for vendors were also spot- on. She also gave very practical advice on what to spend money on and what not to worry about- she won't pressure you on costs at all. Where we did want to spend a little more on the wedding she also gave us great advice on what matters and doesn't. matter to guests. Emily was essential in getting everything squared away with our vendors arrival, tear down, etc. leading up to the big day. On the actual day of the wedding she had her team at each of the shuttle locations, made sure everyone got to the gondola on time, vendors were all set up, etc. etc. Her level of professionalism was second to none- and was especially evident in how flawless she ran the wedding day and worked with the DJ/Emcee. Guests kept telling us all weekend it was the best wedding they've been to - all because of how amazing Emily and her team were!! As the couple, we didn't stress out at all thanks to Emily's hard work. She was so thoughtful about making sure we got to enjoy our day. I can't even express how happy we were that we hired Emily!!

process from our first phone call to the clean up the night of our wedding. We were so grateful she came with us to a venue tour; she and Rusty were asking questions we wouldn't have even thought of. Having her there gave us peace of mind and trust that they would have us taken care of throughout the planning and the day of. She worked closely with our venue coordinator and our other venders to make sure every detail was thought out and discussed. I am very much a type A personality and like to have control over planning things, especially when it comes to something as important as our wedding. I had no problem or hesitation letting go and trusting Emily entirely throughout all of the details and day of. She allowed us both to enjoy the planning of and most importantly, the day of our wedding. ldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner than Emily. From the very beginning, she was involved in every step of the process, offering invaluable advice and serving as an incredible resource. Her organizational and planning skills are truly impressive, ensuring that every detail was carefully thought through and executed perfectly. She worked very closely with our venue coordinator and all of our vendors to make sure nothing was overlooked and everyone knew their roles and responsibilities. But beyond her professionalism, what stood out the most was Emily’s warm and genuine personality. She is such a great person and she made the entire experience so much fun and most importantly stress free . Emily and her team were all stars the entire day of the wedding, from sun up to sun down, we truly couldn’t have done it without her.
