Emma and her team are nothing short of incredible! They are super friendly, helpful, amazing at what they do, and I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else for my hair and makeup needs for my big day. When Emma finished my hair and makeup and had me take a look at it, I was overcome with emotion, I really can't describe it other than to say I felt like I was in a fairy tale looking at her art. She is AMAZING at what she does!!! Her team was also great with my 11 Bridesmaids and mother. They were extremely efficient in making sure everyone had hair and makeup in a short amount of time, while making sure everyone had the touch ups they needed. They made everyone feel pampered and beautiful. Seriously look no further, and book this team!!!!

Unfortunately, I was not able to work with Emma and her team as I had to cancel my wedding due to COVID-19. I am a nurse and was called upon to work on the COVID unit, so my husband and I eloped quickly. While I did not get the pleasure of receiving Emma’s talent, I can’t sing her praises highly enough. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported leading up to our original date and was on top of everything when we thought we may could reschedule/postpone the wedding. She is so sweet and understanding. I hope to be able to use her and her team for a big party once the world is back to normal and can celebrate my marriage! Thanks, Emma!

Emma is the consummate professional while also feeling like a friend I’ve known for years! She and her team made our day so fun and relaxing! Leading up to the wedding, Emma was prompt with communication, regularly checking in and had our timeline done a month in advance. My girls and I were so thrilled with everything! Emma literally ghosted me for weeks leading up to my own wedding. Who does that to paying clients!? If you are running your own business, in my opinion, you should be capable of communicating efficiently. For over a month Emma didn't bother to reply to any and all of my attempts to contact her; phone & email. Hire an assistant if you can't make time to speak to your existing clients! I work in financial services, so you could say I know a thing or two about professionalism and in my honest opinion, Emma has none. She did offer to make amends by sending something in the mail, but she never replied to my last email (shocker right?) and I haven't received anything. Unless you want to be stressing out and calling the same vendor multiple times until they stop sending your calls to voicemail THREE DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING I would recommend working with a beauty artist other than Emma Collins Beauty.

Emma Collins is an absolute angel. I cannot express how happy I was with her help for both hair and makeup on the day of my wedding! We did a trial several weeks before and she nailed the makeup on the first try. She then showed me different hairstyles I could wear on my wedding day - which is why I hired her to stay for the entire day on my wedding. She stayed to help me switch my hair into an updo for my reception and was available to touch up myself, my bridesmaids and pretty much anyone else that asked during her stay. I have been in so many weddings as a bridesmaid where I absolutely hate my hair and makeup - but with Emma, look no further! I had amazing feedback from all of my bridesmaids. Emma is very knowledgeable, not to mention kind and patient. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride-to-be and am personally hoping I have another excuse to get my hair or makeup done again soon so I can have her back!

Emma did my hair/makeup for my bridals and on my wedding day along with all of my bridesmaids/mom/mother-n-law! I would definitely suggest doing a trial run with her like I did, to know specifically what you want for your big day because I changed my entire look after my bridals! She was super nice, accommodating and listened to all of my wants/needs! My only complaints were that communication wasn’t as quick as my other vendors and at first that made me very anxious. She also hired on another girl to help her the day of the wedding (which I’m sure others do this) but the girl hired had never met Emma or me - so I was a little worried her style may not be what my bridesmaids wanted/paid for. However, she did a great job and everything turned out beautifully!!

Brides save your time and energy, and book someone else. In a week I filled out a form fill, emailed and sent a Facebook message. No response, ever. For being local to a small island word spreads quickly...very unprofessional.

Emma was fantastic in her art work. I was apprehensive at first thinking that my Asian characteristics may be a deterrent but she made me and my bridesmaid into models for my wedding day. I can't thank you enough Emma. The only area worth improving is on communication leading up to the big day. Emma's communication wasn't always prompt and that can make a bride slightly anxious during her planning phase. However, in the end, everything turned up just fine for me and my girls. We loved her art work and delivered exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Emma. Still a high recommendation from me.

Emma and her team are wonderful! They were prompt and very efficient with their time, which is very important on wedding day to keep things on schedule. As a bride on your wedding day you hope to look like the best version of yourself and I could not have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out. I felt glamorous, but still looked like myself. My hair and makeup stayed in place all day long and withstood all the wind, sweat, and tears. My bridesmaids all were extremely pleased with how their looks turned out as well. We could not recommend Emma Collins Beauty enough!

Emma was so wonderful to work with and really strives to ensure you are completely satisfied with the services received. Trista and Sydney were our artists and they did an incredible job! All of my wedding party loved their make up and we received lots of great comments on it from guests as well.

Emma and her team were fantastic!! I cannot say enough good things about her. We booked our Jekyll Island wedding from Chicago so I based all my vendors on reviews and pictures and she lives up to them all! She is so easy to work with and knows exactly what she is doing! In the stressful weeks leading up to my wedding there was one thing I was not stressing and that was knowing I would look absolutely beautiful because after my trial and following Emma Collins Beauty on social media I was confident they would achieve the look I envisioned. Emma did hair and make up for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, mom and aunt - everyone looked gorgeous! The hair and make up both stood up to photos in wind and drizzle and lasted all night. They are well worth the money paid and I would definitely hire them again! They will not disappoint!

I had such a wonderful experience with Emma Collins Beauty from start to finish. Emma was such a pleasure to work with over the phone and via e-mail. She answered all of my questions regarding pricing and services in a timely matter, and was always extremely friendly and accommodating. She even helped me with a stylish question regarding my hair. On the day of the wedding, Emma and Laureni arrived about 30 minutes early, which was awesome, and set the appointment off to a great start. I was a nervous wreck and they were able to calm my nerves. They were both so talented and clearly knew exactly what they were doing, which also help put my mind at ease. The BEST experience of my life! If there was a sixth star I would add it. From the moment I spoke to the owner Emma Collins, I was impressed. She was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and confident about what she does. I booked her for my best friends wedding reception ( April 2017) and my wedding (October 2017) we had hair and make up done in April and couldn't have been happier. I have used various "glam squads" throughout the country and consider myself more particular. Emma and her team walked into the room and immediately understood what we were looking for and created it. They had a schedule to keep us on time ( which I need) they were friendly, caring and beyond talented!! Experts in all areas of hair and make-up. Since April I have had the privilege to work with them 2 more times including my wedding. I absolutely couldn't have been happier or found anyone more qualified. Thank you to Emma and her team. I can't say enough great things about Emma! She came to my house the day of my wedding to do my hair and makeup. She knows what she is doing. My skin looked flawless and my eyes looked amazing! I got so many compliments all night. She knows exactly what colors to use to make your eyes pop and look gorgeous on your wedding day. I also had a few tears fall on my wedding day and you couldn't even tell. My makeup still looked amazing even after crying happy tears. It also lasted all night and I looked just as good at the end as the beginning. If you want someone who has a passion for hair and makeup and knows what she is doing then use Emma Collins Beauty you will not be disappointed! The professionalism, talent, and love for what she does shines through!

I wish I had more special occasions so I could hire Emma again! I hired her to do bridesmaids, moms, and me for my wedding and had a terrific experience with her. I felt Emma was miles more talented than virtually any other hair and makeup artist I looked at. I really wanted a timeless, classic style that made me look like myself, and she did it beautifully, choosing the perfect colors to complement my complexion. I was so impressed by her work on the bridesmaids and moms too, many of whom were non-makeup-wearers but were nonetheless really happy with the results — she definitely did not do a cookie-cutter style for everyone but rather figured out a look that worked for each person individually, and her work on more mature skin also looked stellar. She brought tons of lipstick samplers for the girls to take with them and left one of my bridesmaids with rice paper blotting sheets to keep me from getting shiny throughout the day. Emma is a joy to work with on the day-of. She is totally reliable and has a great, laid-back personality. Emma is the definition of modern class!

Finding Emma Collins Beauty was a key moment during my engagement period. I strongly recommend this company! I would like to highlight a few points: Responsiveness, Emma responded to every email of mine within 24 hours, if not within the hour. Your questions will be answered promptly and thoroughly. I am convinced of their expertise, and I am beyond grateful I went with Emma. I don't usually get my make-up done because I don't trust others to know my face well enough, but Emma blew me away. She made my make-up so good, and I still looked like myself. The right features were highlighted, and the make-up stayed on all day/night. Outstanding service for affordable rates! I will recommend Emma Collins Beauty to all future brides I know, and would do the same for anyone reading this review!

If you are looking for a relaxing beauty experience for your wedding day, keep shopping. Emma Collins Beauty is not for you. We all know this can be a very stressful day and there is no telling what could possibly go wrong but we hope to have a good time with our favorite ladies even if some relative is getting crazy. Unfortunately, Emma Collins will only contribute to the chaotic stress, and then over charge you for it. Her so called passion for her work was far from evident on this date. I should say that Emma's staff was early, kind, and did excellent work. She on the other hand was unprofessional and rude to our bride. We had scheduled 6 people to get hair and make-up done with a $500 min at $65 per make up, $65 per hair, and $20 for lashes, etc. etc.per the contract with the bride. Although hair and make up crew were early and we were told grabbing a coffee, etc. was fine and we had plenty of time to get started and we ultimately finished well above schedule with 7 people, Emma was rude to us for not all being ready to start right away. We had a staggered call intentionally to avoid over crowding the room but we did have a couple people running behind and 1 no show. Instead of being kind and considerate to an already stressed bride. Emma told THE BRIDE ON HER WEDDING DAY that if someone doesn't take the place of that person who didn't show up, SHE WOULD HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL. Even with that person not showing up, the contract had 6 people involved and 6 people were there! Emma was then told by a bridesmaid that the issue would be resolved and that she would be paid the amount in full one way or another. Apparently this was not good enough for Emma and she took the bride into the bathroom alone to harass her about the contract ON HER WEDDING DAY even though she was told she would get her money. In addition to her rude nature to the bride, she herself seemed to be unclear on the contract she was so rudely trying to enforce. She had no idea who was actually on the list and manipulated one of our people into getting her hair done that hadn't planned on it and wasn't on the list. The missing spot was filled by 2 people because of Emma's aggressive behavior. Good move to add some more cash to your day. All of our hair and makeup was completely well ahead schedule even with our own family hiccups. However, we were all overcharged by at least $20. When a complaint was given, Emma began blaming the bride for all of the issues and for not knowing the contract, even though her verse of the contract was inaccurate and we have it on file. Emma claimed to rectify this with everyone but only did so with the person that complained about her and no one else. This experience was disastrous and unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone. Please find someone else for your hair and makeup needs. Let your drunk aunt be the crazy, embarrassing one, not your beauty vendor.

I can't sing enough praises about Emma and her team. After a terrible trial I had with another hair and makeup artist I emailed Emma in a panic! She got right back to me and with only two weeks before my wedding she made a HUGE effort and came to me after work hours to have a trial. I cried tears of joy when I saw myself in the mirror! She is a magician! On the wedding day I was stressed and Emma was so calming and comforting... she immediately calmed my nerves! She went above and beyond what any other hair and makeup artist was willing to do to accommodate me. I have her to thank for making me feel more beautiful on the inside and out than I have ever felt before! I wish I could rate her with more than 5 stars!

Emma and her team was absolutely amazing! From the first email I sent to the last bobby pin she pinned I can honestly say the experience of working with her was exceptional! She took interest in my wedding from day one and was always easy to get a hold of when I had a question. She pays close attention to detail and is a perfectionist when it comes to hair and makeup. I have, nor will I ever again, look as good as I did with her magic! My only regret is that I can't afford to have her make me up every day! Emma is so beyond talented and such a doll to work with! I wanted to keep my hair and makeup simple but elegant and that is exactly what Emma did! It was perfect because I felt like myself, just with the best hair and makeup! I wish I could use her every day :). Beyond her obvious talents, she has such a calming presence and is really easy to talk to. EMMA was AMAZING for my October 2015 wedding! I seriously could not have asked for a sweeter and more talented hair and makeup artist. The way she took her time and paid such attention to detail, I could tell that she truly cared as if she were doing her OWN makeup and hair for her OWN wedding. She's also very flexible -- I changed a few things on my wedding day that were not practiced during my trial run, and she totally ran with it and made it amazing. If you're thinking about skimping on a hair/makeup artist for your wedding day - DON'T! Professional hair and makeup versus DIY hair and makeup are like night and day. I didn't know it was possible to feel as beautiful as I felt on my wedding day, and it's all thanks to Emma! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Yall. There is no better hair and makeup artist than Emma! She has done my hair and makeup for photo shoots and my wedding, and I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. She took my fumbling explanation of what I wanted and turned it into something even better than I imagined. Not only does she make you look beautiful, but she makes you feel beautiful, calm and happy. Her energy and demeanor while she is working truly adds the the "experience". She also did my bridesmaids hair and they all looked beyond amazing! She is on time and on point and if you want the best, hire her! When I reflect on my wedding day, I get butterflies all over again thinking about the magic Emma Collins made on my hair and make-up. It was like love at first "backcomb" when we met during the hair trial and that moment solidified that I was in the perfect hands to make my wedding dream look come true! Emma arrived on November 14th early, excited and overly prepared with every quality product and tool ready to go. She was extremely professional, never overlooked any detail and truly took her time to make sure the look was perfect. She allowed me to "assist" and interact as my hair was carefully placed in my vintage-style updo... always wanting to please and make sure I was happy. The make-up... FLAWLESS. She had recommended a look based on the hair we decided on and my dress / accessories to tie the entire look together... to say I felt like I was ready for a couture photo shoot was an understatement. Emma's vision for my make-up was more than I could have hoped for and more. She uses airbrush and contour techniques that bring out your features and it is long lasting, all day and into the night! In short, Emma Collins is a true artist. I have never felt so beautiful and I am beyond grateful to have had her by my side on the most special day of my life (so far!) where I married the man of my dreams. Emma was SUCH a joy to work with during our wedding weekend. She is extremely talented and can bring to light someone's vision effortlessly - not to mention she is a perfectionist, so when it comes to my hair and makeup for my wedding, I'm all for that! Emma is WONDERFUL! My husband and I planned our wedding from Texas, and she went out of her way to make sure I was able to schedule a makeup trial on a date and time that worked for me. I'm normally the type of person who doesn't speak up about what I dislike, as I'm afraid of hurting the stylist's feelings. Emma encouraged me to be frank with her and I was able to come home feeling extremely confident that she was the right fit. My previous experiences with wedding makeup artists were quite dissatisfying, but I knew this would be different. We communicated often and she had me send her many photos of what I wanted so that she could reference them on the day of. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on the day of my wedding! Not only is she a true artist, she is an astute business woman who ensures that her clients leave her chair feeling confident and pleased with her work. My bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning and we all wish that Emma would move to Houston so we could use her services anytime we want!

Emma Collins and her team are extremely fun and professional! I was a model for Emma and she did an absolutely amazing job. She is an amazing woman, and works extremely hard to make you feel flawless in your own skin! I would highly recommend Emma Collins and her team for weddings and any other special events you may have! She makes you feel and look like a princess!

I looked and felt great, however they burned my forehead pretty badly and now as I'm on my honeymoon, I have a scab. Also had to have my bridesmaid fix everyone's eyeliner because it was not smooth.
