Wow - these cakes are amazing! This couple is so friendly and respond to emails promptly. They work with your budget and provide many flavor and decorating options. I secretly ordered a groom's cake to surprise my husband on the wedding day, and it was exactly like the photo I provided (batman cake!). We received a lot of compliments from our guests, they went back for seconds and thirds. Their prices were perfect for our budget. We ordered six rounds with different flavors. I provided the cake stands and Lisa organized all the cakes and decorated them with the flowers from my florist and put my cake topper on. They were extremely helpful (our venue was outdoors and the cakes needed special attention) and easy to work with!

Emma K Cakes is a small-town, in-home cake baker, and I never thought twice about using another vendor for my wedding cake and cupcakes. They offered a very wide variety of flavors, and they were very easy to work with, ensuring that the theme and our choices were what WE wanted for our wedding reception. We heard nothing but raves reviews from all of our guests about how wonderful the cupcakes were, and since my wedding, I have placed a birthday cake order with them as well. This is a vendor I will regularly use for future cake orders!

I was planning my Iowa wedding from Nashville which made things very difficult. Lisa, the owner, was very accomodating when we came to IA over the 4th of July She scheduled a tasting with us. I had sent her a recipe that I had seen and she made it no problem. After we tasted the cake, she also said that she would work with us and what our vision was to get us exactly what we wanted. Our cake turned out great and everyone kept talking about how awesome it looked. I would recommend Emma K Cakes for every cake need!! I wish I lived closer so I could use her all the time for my events!

Lisa is such a delight to work with,she knows exactly what she is doing, and is such a HUGE HELP with anything you need and creating exactly what you want. Lisa made us TO DIE for specialty cupcakes for our wedding, and a cake topper. it was everything we wanted and more. Our guests LOVED Emma K Cakes specialty cupcakes, I was receiving text messages all day asking who made our amazing cupcakes! Whenever we need any cupcakes or cake Emma K Cakes is the place we go!!

I chose Emma K Cakes for my wedding last July. Lisa was WONDERFUL to work with-she provided a free cake tasting (with more flavors than I asked for), had a wide variety of flavors, and had very reasonable rates! She delivered and set up at my reception as well. Everyone raved about how good the cupcakes were!

I was very picky with my wedding cake selection, however, did not want to spend a fortune. Emma K Cakes was the first and only cake I sampled and my friends that joined me and I were BLOWN AWAY! I went with Emma K Cakes because she made my 30th birthday party cake and I knew the cake was amazing. I gave her an estimate based on the amount of people we were inviting and she gave me an estimate back. I did a two layered wedding cake (enough to serve the head table and our family table) and then three separate sheet cakes, as I wanted a variety of flavors. I WAY over-estimated how many people we needed to feed, however, there was NOT a lot leftover. Everyone was OBSESSED with the cake! I literally paid a fraction of what my friends and family had paid on their own weddings and my cake was far beyond better. If you want amazing cake at an extremely reasonable price, go with Emma K! You will not regret your decision and I know there are hundreds of decisions to make with wedding planning. This was my easiest and one of my best!

I found Emma K Cakes on our local zoo's website as a vendor they use for many weddings there and I couldn't have been happier! Lisa is the owner and she was wonderful to work with. My fiancé and I brought her an idea we found on Pinterest and she duplicated it and added touches to make it perfect for our wedding; it was beautiful and all our guests raved about how moist, delicious, and visually stunning our cake was! I will definitely use her again :)
