Emma was absolutely phenomenal to work with! From our very first phone call with her, my fiancé and I had a good feeling about her. In the months leading up to the wedding, Emma even took the time to have phone calls with us to discuss timelines on how the day would flow. From the very beginning, I was very adamant that I did not want to do a first look on the big day. Unfortunately on the morning of the wedding, my dad ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove his appendix. We had to push the ceremony back to give my dad enough time to be discharged from the hospital and make it to the venue. Due to the push back, we were forced to have pictures before our ceremony. Emma took me to the side and one on one talked to me how we could completely change the timeline to get the photos we wanted. These pictures ended up being our favorite photos! It was so much fun having time with just the two of us! We could not have imagined our day without her!

Emma made my husband and I feel so comfortable! We had our engagement session with her before the wedding and it was perfect. She made me feel so good going into the wedding. She knows her stuff! Knew where at the venue we should take photos and at what time and was so good at keeping everyone in the family and the party happy and on schedule. She went above and beyond and I would recommend her to everyone and anyone.

I really have no words for how wonderful of a wedding photographer Emma is. She was an absolute joy to work with and absolutely worth every penny - I feel so fortunate that we were able to secure her for our wedding date. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I had an absolute blast with her during our engagement photos. She totally helped ease his nerves and become more comfortable with being photographed for the day of. On the day of our wedding, Emma was an absolute joy. She was so FUN, easy to work with, and perfectly blended in with my family and wedding party. I appreciated that Emma and her team were present during the wedding but also gave us the space we needed to enjoy ourselves and guests. I hardly knew they were around snapping pictures! Oh gosh, all I have to say is WOW! Cannot say enough good things about Emma and her photography. Not only are her pictures just breathtaking, she is just an overall incredible individual. WOW is all I have to say about Emma & her team. Emma is so easy and fun to work with! When we met her for our engagement pictures, she made us feel so comfortable and we had a blast with the shoot! Then when we received the pictures, we knew without a doubt we picked the best photographer in Charleston!!! Her work is AMAZING! Now let’s talk about the wedding… Emma and her team worked their butts off!!! We shared the moments of the day we wanted her to focus on and she listened and did exactly that! Our family and friends also commented on how phenomenal she was. She was so organized and efficient, especially during the family portraits! We also used Emma and her team for our videography. We originally didn’t want to hire a videographer, but are so happy we did! The videos captured our entire venue and the feelings and love of the day perfectly. We’ve already watched the videos and played a slideshow of the pictures a million times. It’s the best memories to keep forever. We’re so happy we found Emma for our special day. Our wedding photos and videos could not have turned out better, and Emma was a joy to work with. She was the photographer for my friend's wedding and I loved her style and also her personality. She was relaxed and fun, while also being firm in getting people where they needed to be. I'm so glad she convinced us to do a first look, it took a lot of the pressure off and I will treasure those photos forever. We got our sneak peek photos super fast and then the gallery had so many photos that it was almost overwhelming! She truly captured every moment and the videos (1 min, 7 min highlight, and 46 min full length) are something I will treasure forever, and well worth the investment. Emma and her husband (videographer) are super fun to work with and I cannot recommend them more!

Emma was amazing from the start. We completed an engagement session prior to our wedding day and we knew we had selected the perfect photographer, as she was not only professional and responsive, but personable and so funny. The photos are STUNNING and have the beautiful light and airy look we wanted to capture. Emma is the best of the best. From the beginning she was incredibly supportive and positive. Our first engagement shoot got cut short because of the rain and she not only rescheduled but did not charge us, still edited/sent photos AND let us re do the shoot downtown. She went above in beyond when our wedding planner bailed and she helped us find a new one. She arrived to the wedding and kept the timeline running and made me feel confident that things would go smoothly (all while taking amaizng photos). Emma is absolutely AMAZING! She was so helpful leading up to the wedding then made the day-of so fun! If I could give 10 stars I would. Holy moly Emma is amazing! I was a Covid bride and not only did she work with our cancellations, but she checked on us constantly just to see how we were doing. Who does that?! But what really matters is the photography...and she did NOT disappoint! She captured every little moment that was important to us and then some. And when she says she will move through family photos quickly, she means it! She makes you feel comfortable to capture your TRUE personality. Even my wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how great she is! I could go on and on, but the point is: HIRE HER! She's incredible!

Emma is amazing! I immediately knew we had made the right choice for our wedding photographer after our engagement session. Despite some drizzling rain, the photos turned out gorgeous and Emma was so upbeat and fun to be around! She could make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera! I decided to add videography to our package, and am so glad that I did!! Emma and her husband Luke make the sweetest team! You end up spending a lot of time with your photographer and videographer on your wedding day, and Emma and Luke were great and kept us on schedule the whole day while capturing all of the important moments! We got married in downtown Charleston and were able to get photos in several locations before the ceremony and then after the ceremony had our family formals and more couple’s portraits taken around our church without ever feeling rushed! We got our photos and videos back quickly and were absolutely blown away! The photos were beautiful and will be cherished forever!! I would 110% recommend also adding video to your package! The videos managed to perfectly encapsulate our day and were beautifully edited. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma Lili Photography to any friend or family member!

Some things about your wedding you can control like your vendor team….somethings you can’t like the weather! Emma was the absolute best addition to our wedding weekend! From the moment we first spoke with her in the middle of COVID, planning our wedding from a different state—Emma made us feel comfortable and excited. Her bubbly personality came through the phone and had us laughing before we even met her. Our engagement shoot was more fun than either of us imagined, and made Emma a friendly face we couldn’t wait to see the morning of our November wedding—in the pouring rain. A stressful hiccup made easy by her expertise, comforting words and attitude. Our wedding party and family portraits in the freezing rain were accompanied by so much laughter all thanks to Emma. Emma was a trooper running around the outside of the tent to get the best angles of the ceremony. When our photos came back months earlier than we expected, we were truly blown away. They are the most beautiful, creative, and flawless wedding photos we’d ever seen. You can hardly see that it’s raining—except when that was her goal! We are forever grateful for everything she did for us. Trust me—you need Emma on your team.

I could write a book on how much we love Emma! We hired Emma to shoot our wedding back in August. I remember our phone call and it was so easy to talk to her. She understood my vision and after we hung up I felt like I just made a lifelong friend. My husband was not excited to pose for our engagement pictures, but Emma made the experience fun for him. She loved how silly he wanted to be and she just went with it. When you’re around Emma she radiates happiness and positivity. I’m always nervous how I look for pictures, but Emma was my hype girl. I first met Emma at my friend's wedding in 2019. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and Emma was the photographer. Throughout the day, she made everyone laugh and feel super comfortable. I knew she was wonderful person, but once I saw how the photos turned out I was AMAZED! Her skills are phenomenal! If you’re looking for a great wedding photographer, look no further! Emma is your girl! She was amazing to work with through our engagement photos and on our wedding day. She was very prepared and her 2nd shooter was amazing as well and so fun to work with. Emma makes taking photos fun & easy! Emma is phenomenal! Her spirit alone makes you smile. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable and I think that truly shows in her photos. Her pictures really capture the emotion and excitement of the day. One of my favorite things about Emma is that she give a little sneak peek of the photos soon after the event. The best decision we made was choosing Emma as our wedding photographer. I feel like we gained a new family member with how well she fit in to the day and meshed with my crazy family. She was unbelievably helpful with things outside of just photography with keeping us to our timeline and stepping in to help buckle shoes and zip dresses. She is a wedding jack of all trades. Emma is absolutely amazing and so talented. We went to college together and even lived together 10+ years ago. I followed her on social media over the years and when I saw her work I knew I had to come to Savannah to have her as my photographer. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. One of the best photographers I’ve ever worked with!!! I used to do photography as a profession, so you can imagine how picky I am with my own photos for my wedding. We had our engagement photos done by her a week before our wedding, fell in love with our photos, and desperately needed a wedding photographer for our wedding. Emma is amazing! Our engagement photos were beautiful but our wedding photos are literally the most stunning photos I have ever seen! She was able to capture so many details and as I look through them it truly takes me back to each moment that she captured. On first contact we knew that she was the right gal for us. Our engagement photo shoot was so much fun. She took the stiff and awkward right out of my husband and I with her warm and bubbly personality. I immediately established that I have a "side" and "fat arm" in certain positions and she did a great job accommodating my extra particular requests! Our photos came out so natural and the evening was seamless! On our wedding day Emma was prompt and put us all at ease with her voice behind the lens. She listened to my every request and came through in spades! Reflecting on our wedding last year my husband and I can't get over how beautiful our photos came out. Our friends and family still gush over our "vanity fair" pose, using our boat as a prop, and utilizing the most lush landscape of our venue as a backdrop to capture these special moments. In my mind our wedding was beautiful, but in print it was truly breathtaking. Today these beautiful images fill our walls and our hearts. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Emma again, or to refer her to anyone getting engaged or married. She is a very talented photographer and well exceeded our expectations!

To me, it made me realize how genuine she was from the very beginning. When we met for coffee, she instantly made my husband and I feel at ease. We discussed some family dynamics and she encouraged me that doing engagement pictures was worth it (I was so adamant to keep the budget as low as possible for all things wedding). Her engagement shoot was a blast!!! She was right, spending that time with her would make us even more comfortable for our wedding day - and it was totally worth getting up for the sunrise shoot in Charleston summertime! The quality of her pictures are amazing. It made us so excited to see the gallery after the wedding based on the great shots she got during our engagement shoot - and we were so happy with the results! She is understanding, organized, witty and easy going. She helped me prioritize family portraits and think through day of logistics which made so much fall into place on my wedding day. Emma was too good to me honestly, she went out of her way on numerous occasions to make me feel loved and special before the big day. If I had to do it again, I would pick her... every time.

HIRE EMMA!!! Photography is such an important aspect of your special day, and Emma is the best of the best. I felt so comfortable with her from the very first moment that we spoke. She is so talented and honestly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I felt like I had known her for years, and she was just one of my close friends hanging out taking photos of us. My husband hates having his photo taken, and she made him feel so comfortable with the process. It was truly remarkable! I can’t imagine having anyone else with me for such a special day. She had our sneak peek ready for us within 48 hours, and all of our photos were beautifully edited shortly after. She was literally a dream come true! Hiring Emma was absolutely the best decision I made. Her ability to connect with us as well as my family to capture our engagement and our wedding day memories was truly magical. Her comforting way to make you at ease in front of her camera reflects in the amazing pictures she captures. I truly thought photography was the least important aspect and it became my absolute favorite part of the day. I only regret I can't plan another photo shoot to be able to spend time with Emma! Ahhh you guys.... seriously, HIRE EMMA!!!! Emma was the sweetest, most hilarious and cutest person ever to work with!!! We absolutely loved her, and her photos are GORGEOUS!!!! I feel like I'm awkward at times, but for both my wedding and our engagement pictures she made me feel like a model!!! She knows the right poses and how to capture the intimacy of those special days in such a beautiful way. She is also so good at relaxing you and getting you to be comfortable in front of the camera... she had both me and my now husband, and our parties, cracking up!! Emma, you are truly magnificent!!! Emma is the absolute best. I cannot praise her enough. She was so bubbly, sweet, and amazing at taking photos. She was in good spirits constantly! She went above and beyond to make me feel happy and calm about things I could not control. You need to hire her for your day. My photos are absolutely amazing. She is on the ball and sends you a sneak peak that evening!!

Emma is a joy to be around with her bubbly personality and positive outlook on everything! I hate having my picture taken but she made me so comfortable and I love love love our photos. She worked with us to come up with a photo package that fit our needs perfectly and understood what was important for us to capture on our special day.

I cannot say enough about Emma - she was FANTASTIC! Of all the vendors that are required for a wedding, she was our absolute favorite. We ran into a hiccup mid wedding planning, and lost our original photographer. Emma saved the day, and I truly believe the "hiccup" was a blessing in disguise. She is kind, funny, and feels like a long-time friend. She made taking photos (something my now husband and I dislike) so fun! We have received so many compliments on our photos and we even have family members who want to use her for photos - and we live out of state! Our only regret is that once the wedding is over and the photos are done, we no longer get to see her!
