en took the time to have phone calls with us to discuss timelines on how the day would flow. From the very beginning, I was very adamant that I did not want to do a first look on the big day. Unfortunately on the morning of the wedding, my dad ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove his appendix. We had to push the ceremony back to give my dad enough time to be discharged from the hospital and make it to the venue. Due to the push back, we were forced to have pictures before our ceremony. Emma took me to the side and one on one talked to me how we could completely change the timeline to get the photos we wanted. These pictures ended up being our favorite photos! It was a no-brainer when I got engaged... the first phone call I made was to Emma to make sure I could secure her for my wedding.
