I'm a fine artist from the Columbus Ohio area and my specialty is live event painting. Whether I'm painting during the wedding ceremony or afterwards at the reception I show up with my supplies an hour before the event starts and paint throughout the duration capturing the venue, the people, and the emotion of your big day. When I'm finished you have a centerpiece for your reception as well as your home. I paint in an impressionistic style paying special attention to light and shadows. This allows me to not get hung up on hyperrealistic details, but rather capture the overall feel and emotion of your wedding.

When you book with Emma, you’ll go over different paint mediums, styles, shot preference, etc. I don’t know the first thing about art, and Emma was so helpful in providing her expertise in what would look the best for our venue and the moment we wanted painted. Emma will show up a few hours before your moment to paint the scene, and then she’ll paint what you want captured. Our wedding guests were floored by how talented Emma is, and dozens have said, “That literally looks like you and your husband!!!” Guests also love finding themselves in the painting. are amazed at the level of detail that she included and how much the painting captures the exact moment. Our guests loved watching her finish the painting during cocktail hour. After she finished, she framed it on site and we displayed it at the reception for everyone to enjoy.
