tside of the cake (sage and lavender were my wedding colors) the cake was so beautiful. My family already knew the cake was going to be great because this is the third time I ordered cake from Emma- the first one for my grandmom's birthday (vanilla cake with lemon curd filling and raspberry buttercream) and my brother's wedding cake (blackberry cake and buttercream). Farmhouse is my go to for event cakes and I recommend her to everyone that is getting married or having a special occasion.

ting was great! She was very thorough in asking what we wanted! It was honestly the first thing I ordered for our wedding! I’m a lover of cake and couldn’t wait to see the end result at our wedding! Of course it was gorgeous and everything I had hoped for visually. However, when it was time to cut the cake it completely fell apart and was very dry! We couldn’t even serve it to our guests! It was inedible! I was utterly disappointed! Emma was so professional and such a great help throughout the whole process. I just wish the cake came out as expected!

iry, I never expected that ALL of my expectations would be surpassed by the finished product. Within 24 hours of the email inquiry, Emma contacted me with her wedding cake menu, which contained cake flavors, filling options, and icing options. We were asked to select five flavors and paid a tasting fee of $30 to reserve our session. On the chosen day, my parents, my groom, his daughter and I drove to her adorable baker's shed on the farm. She had a table ready for us, complete with 5 settings and glasses of water. The only thing that matched the warmth inside the bakery was that of Emma herself--she was all smiles and happiness...and very pregnant!! From the first bite of the first cake sample, which was the "Wedding" flavor, we were hooked! We left over an hour later, after having secured her services with a deposit. My groom and I chose a three-tiered cake, and each cake was a different flavor cake, filling, and icing. She then decorated the whole cake with vanilla buttercream and added the rough texture that I wanted. Our exceptional florist added fresh flowers and Emma placed the cake topper that was ordered specifically for our wedding. Despite having her adorable daughter two months before our wedding, Emma never failed to return an email or a phone call immediately. I don't know how she did it with a newborn, but from start to finish, our experience with her was just incredible! My now-husband and I live a good forty minutes from Emma's location, so we go to lengths to get to her, but she (and her cakes) are 100% worth it and I would more than highly recommend!

We had a boho, beach themed wedding and Emma hit the nail on the head with our cake. It was so affordable and worth every penny. I left some decorations out for Emma to arrange on the cake the day of the wedding and she set up the display so, so beautifully. I also asked her to make a small cake since it also happened to be my parent's anniversary and she nailed that one too! Such a cute little tribute with daisies that my parents were so thrilled with. Emma is not only a super talented baker, but she's also an absolute pleasure and such a sweet person to work with. Highly, highly recommend!

ere working on an extremely tight timeline leading up to our wedding date and working with Emma was a breeze. She was easy going and responsive in communication and came up with a creative and beautiful cake for us. My favorite dessert is a warm, fudge-y brownie and Emma came up with the idea of making them into a tiered cake. We were absolutely thrilled with the final product. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing! It was such a hit with all of our guests. We’re so happy that Emma was able to make our special day even sweeter.

ricing, options and flavors.. she was polite, responsive and transparent from the jump and was very open to our ideas and requests, all the while making sure to work within our budget. Visiting Emma at her bakery for our tasting was great and really solidified for us that we had made the right choice in working with Emma. The space is clean and beautiful and Emma was very professional and fun to meet with. From the beginning one of our favorite things about Emma's Farmhouse Confections was the unique flavors. We were able to sample some really fun and delicious options including Root Beer Float, Strawberry Champagne and Cookie Dough. We loved EVERYTHING we tasted and Emma was able to come up with a plan to use several of our favorites in multiple smaller cakes so that we didn't have to choose. She also let us take the leftover samples to share with our family! Emma continued to be open and communicative in the months leading up to the wedding, reaching out to share ideas and to check up on us. She really was so sweet. On the day of the wedding she worked with our venue coordinator to make sure the cakes arrived and were set up beautifully. Even our coordinator commented on how professional Emma was - and how beautiful everything looked. Emma's gorgeous cakes were one of the first things I saw when I walked into the space for the first time on our wedding day. I was BLOWN AWAY. Before they were even cut, we received so many compliments on how beautiful they were. And once the cake was actually served, we had dozens more people raving. Everything about the experience was amazing and I couldn't recommend Emma's Farmhouse Confections more. Our one year anniversary is coming up in a few months and I CANNOT wait to eat the top tier that we've saved for the occasion. I hope to use Emma's Farmhouse Confections for all of my events and celebrations in the future!
