I had questions about makeup. I was able to do a trial before the wedding at her home studio. She did makeup for us during the pandemic and she took every precaution possible to keep us and herself safe, which I greatly appreciated. I would have Elina do makeup for an special occasion not just my wedding!

From Elina's first email response, you can tell that she is so incredibly kind and is also quick to respond to questions. When my mom and I went to do our trial, I expressed how I really wanted a natural look since I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Elina listened and delivered! She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and I got compliments on my makeup all night long! On my wedding day she was early, fully prepared and was so patient with all of us and had such a welcoming and kind smile all day long. She made me feel absolutely beautiful I almost started crying when I first saw myself in the mirror. Elina, thank you so so much! At our trial, she reworked the look as many times as necessary to perfect the look. On the day-of, we all looked amazing and she was even able to get a last-minute second artist when we had a few late additions to the group getting makeup done. Would absolutely recommend her and I can't wait for another opportunity to have her do my makeup!

for a trial during the one day I had available. Although I wasn't really able to articulate what I wanted, she still made it happen for myself, my five bridesmaids, and my mother. We looked perfect and the makeup lasted all day! Elina was also super quick, moving ahead of schedule and making sure we were done in time for pictures. She completely exceeded all of my expectations, I've never looked so beautiful as I did on my wedding day and Elina was a huge part of that!!

the bridal party's makeup, and everyone's faces, especially the bride Dena (see pictures from Elina's website), looked absolutely stunning. Both my experiences for the trial and the day of were great. I enjoyed coming to her home studio to try out different options for what my final look would be. Elina made sure to show me different levels of foundation coverage, including with and without airbrushing. Getting to see those different options helped me feel confident about what I wanted on my wedding day. I ended up nixing the airbrush, as she recommended I might do :) Plus she incorporated a little purple eyeshadow (since it is my favorite color), and now I know I can feel comfortable wearing bold lip colors, and they can last all day! I was especially glad to have Elina as my makeup artist the day of my wedding. Long story short, I did not get much sleep the night before due to some issues with my hotel room. I felt and looked exhausted! However, getting my makeup done really perked me up and I jokingly told Elina that she gave me my night's sleep back! This set the stage for an incredible wedding day, and I cannot thank her enough for her help doing my makeup, and the makeup for my entire bridal party, mom, and now mother-in-law! You can't go wrong with EmmeY Makeup Artistry!

d I wanted to make sure that I look like a more polished version of myself! I was very happy with the results at the trial, but wanted to make a few changes. Elina graciously accepted my feedback and incorporated it into her notes. The end result on my wedding day was perfect—better than I ever imagined! It stayed perfect from the morning through the evening, even with an outdoor ceremony at the hottest time of the day, and dancing. I would also like to note that Elina is extremely sweet, caring, and comforting. I was dealing with a personal tragedy around the time of the wedding and Elina bent over backwards to accommodate schedule changes and to support me and my family. I could not recommend Elina highly enough!

About a week before the wedding, we talked on the phone and she worked to create a make up and hair schedule for the day of so all those participating in the beautify-ing knew when they needed to be where and what order they would be getting ready in. This made the day of so easy, relaxing, and stress free! We started getting ready at nearly 8:30 and Elina was early to the hotel and got set up quickly and immediately started working. She took everyone's likes and dislikes into consideration and everyone's make up looked flawless and stayed that way the entire day and night. I would recommend EmmY Makeup Artistry to anyone in a heart beat! So professional, easy to work with, thoughtful, and great at her skill.

She was very good with keep her area clean, and used disposable make up tools when she could and cleaned other brushes right in front of you which made me feel great knowing everything was super clean. She was flexible with you and was open to your suggestions on small little things you wanted done differently while getting your make up done. I was beyond impressed with her service and skills.
