Empire Cake

He also reached out to me before putting our topper on the cake to let us decide how we wanted the topper to get affixed to the cake in the event that we wanted to keep it after the wedding. We sampled a few cake options and they were all so yummy, so I don't think you can go wrong with anything you select from Empire. I look forward to ordering from them again in the future.

Because of Covid, we had to do an at home tasting, but the portions were fantastic (so we re-tried them a few hours later) and they had tons of options. We also felt the value of our cake was incredible. We tasted a few more expensive options and still thought Empires Cake’s were the best tasting. So happy we went with them!

I wish they'd offered a little more guidance on decoration options - I guess I should have prepared a little more. Also I sent a photo of a grey marbled fondant cake with a gold stripe, which they mostly got right, however the final cake was a reddish pink marble which didn't go with our colors. It was hard to tell in the lighting in the reception so it's fine but I was a little disappointed. All in all it was delicious and I would go back - just be SUPER clear with your decoration instructions.

esign is important but the taste is as well. I reached out to many bakeries and in the end I decided to give Empire Cake a try. Jim responded all my questions in a timely matter. I sent him a picture of the cake design I wanted and he emailed me a proposal. What I liked about Empire Cake is that they did not charge me an expensive delivery rate which is what I found many bakeries in NYC do once they know the cake is for a wedding. My cake was a reasonable price and the taste was amazing. We received many compliments on our raspberry lemon filled cake. The cake was beautiful and neat. I highly recommend them!

Instead, I really got the feeling that Jessica put a lot of thought and talent into our little two-tier cake--the frosting version of some pretty elaborate Art Deco gates at our venue was off the hook! And as far as taste? Well, with flavors like Raspberry Lemon, it's hard to go wrong!

n individual box. We worked with Jessica who was friendly, helpful, and extremely patient. She worked with me for quite a while through various sketches in order to get exactly what we wanted. Empire Cake did a great job and we will continue to use them for all our post-wedding bakery needs.

or the rehearsal. My wedding day cake was part Art Deco part deconstructed peacock. Their cupcakes were a huge hit. Their fillings are awesome. Loved the praline filling. Plus their prices are reasonable.
