Empire Sound

to finish. Our ceremony was seamless, even with uncooperative weather. Our photo booth was a HIT. We could not have asked for a better team!

Jamielyn made sure we were happy with the music selections and kept the vibe going even when our guests were tired from a long hot August day. They made things easy and seamless from our first phone call. They even edited our first dance song so it fit our timing and still included the verses we liked best. They’re awesome to work with and fun to party with!

redibly responsive. He really took the time to understand our vision, our music preferences, and the overall feel we wanted for our day. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal. On the day of our wedding, they were flawless. Jameilyn was absolutely wonderful—so warm, supportive, and beautifully on top of every little thing behind the scenes. She made sure we were relaxed, checked in with us often, and helped everything run smoothly without us ever feeling rushed or pulled away from the moment. Her presence truly made the day feel easier and more enjoyable. Empire Sound is not just a DJ service—they’re a team that genuinely cares and it shows in every single detail. Professional, kind, and so, so talented. We cannot recommend Dominick, Jameilyn, and the whole Empire Sound team enough. If you want a wedding that feels seamless, joyful, and unforgettable… book them. Truly the best choice we made. 💛🎶

sonable, plus they were one of the few that offered flexible options and did not pressure us for extravagant add-ons. Jamielynn, the coordinator, was always pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with. She was very communicative. Most importantly she kept us informed. Helping us on our day were DJ Rock and Dominick. We had special arrangements planned, and they were well prepped and responsive to our unique needs. Rock and Dom were active and engaging, and at no point did we have a dull moment. Our guests fully enjoyed what they brought to the dance floor: music and energy. Needless to say, their choice of music was spot on for our guests. One special note we want to add, and one that drove us to make this review: They were incredibly adaptive and seamlessly made the music and announcements an integral part of a seemingly well-rehearsed event. We had themed tables for our guests, and DJ Rock and Dom, without needing any instructions, tailored music to each table, making guests at each table feel unique. They also played theme songs referenced in each speech, showing they were really paying attention to our event. These guys are not just there to work an event; you can feel it is their passion. Our guests even commented that it felt like they were part of the party and not just working at it. That to us, was very important and appreciated. We also liked that they can make a party fun without depending on expensive extras. Empire Sound was excellent throughout the whole process. They are professionals with passion in the art. They made a few minor mistakes but valiantly corrected and adapted to feedback quickly. They will work with you from start till finish. Don't just take our word for it: our guests have told us they really liked the DJ/MC and some even asked us for their names. If you are looking for a passionate DJ/MC Team with high energy, ability to adapt to good/bad situations, and amplify the fun, we think you found them. Solid 5 out of 5.

something we really hoped for. Their energy and enthusiasm for our special day really made us feel like we made the right decision.

oth. While we acknowledge that there were miscommunications on the photbooth location, there was also difficulty compromising. Moreover, the printer went out of order for a while, which required the DJ to step away. This did not go unnoticed by guests. Ultimately we were provided with two hours instead of the contracted four. When we reached out to Empire Sound to voice our concerns, they mainly pointed their finger at our venue while also adding an apologetic "I completely understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go exactly as planned." We had some other minor issues with our other vendors but all others vendors at least acknowledged their own mistakes and tried to make amends. Ultimately a 4/5 star experience.

ey make it look easy! Thank you for keeping our guests on their feet and for helping make our day everything we dreamed of!

d, Jamielyn had us fill in some paperwork about what kinds of songs we wanted and didn’t want. Everything was really specific in order to give us the wedding we had envisioned. The ceremony went off without issue when all I gave them were YouTube links to song covers I wanted. Dj Joey and MC Dom took all of our requests and made a FLAWLESS set of songs. They got people up and dancing, especially the older people with some oldies but goodies at the beginning dance set. They honored our wildest requests like “No Ron No” Harry Potter Club Mix and I2I from A Goofy Movie, mixing them seamlessly into our other chosen music. They kept everyone dancing so much that we didn't want to stop the vibes to do our cake cutting! I honestly cannot recommend them enough! Everyone raved about the music and said it was the best wedding they’ve been to. Empire Sound truly made the night special. HIRE THEM. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!

nalism. He created great vibes from the intros and first dances to the dinner hour and cake-cutting, and read the room all night like a pro. (Not to mention he went the extra mile to make sure I always had a drink in my hand!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

e so happy we chose empire sound. Highly recommend!

night. They set up the sound system for the ceremony and the reception. They also worked well with a band that we brought in for live music during cocktail hour and part of the reception. We recommend working with them. Make sure to take advantage of the forms they provide and go over the day-of details for things like your aisle songs, first dance, etc (and loop in your day-of coordinator!)

Jamielyn, is a fantastic office administrator who was helpful and quick to respond. I appreciated the forms they had us fill out in prep for the wedding as well. Prior to the reception, Dominick was so gracious to double check our forms and make sure everything was correct. And when I tell you the vibes were poppin’ I mean it!! So much so we added an additional hour at the end for a very reasonable cost. Jamielyn even took great videos and posted to their instagram that I’m so excited to look back on! Over all, my husband and I were extremely happy with Empire Sound and wish we were able to truly take advantage of all the songs we wanted to hear but were pulled a few times that I’m sure we just missed a couple of our favorites. Thank you SO much Empire Sound!!!

tire night. We also booked our Photo Booth through them which was a hit. I especially appreciated that they found me and my husband at the end of the night to take a photo at the photo booth before they shut down because we didn’t have a chance to make it there earlier. We highly recommend empire sound!

l of the songs came together so perfectly! Jamielyn was awesome and the Photo Booth was a huge hit! Thank you to Empire Sound for keeping people on the dance floor and being a part of our wedding!

with it, tailoring our reception with the perfect playlist that we danced to all night long. If you need a wedding DJ, look no further than Dominick and his incredible team at Empire Sound!

Couldn’t have asked for better company or people to work it!

he music from the youngest guest (5 years old) to our oldest guest (85 years old). The only bad part of the night was when it ended. We highly recommend Empire Sound to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

ected. Overall, they were very good and you won't go wrong hiring Empire Sound.

captured our various requirements perfectly and went above and beyond what we needed! They were so professional leading up to the wedding and were very responsive - Jamielyn was really helpful from the office side, and DJ Mike used a mix of our requested songs and new ones that matched the vibe. We had such a blast with these guys. Huge shoutout to our MC too (though I completely forgot his name), who was so interactive and dancing the whole night with our guests. He was such a vibe and a really nice guy. They also did: - a custom track for the Mother-Son dance, - did our ceremony music - MC'd the night to get attendees attention for various events during the wedding reception We would recommend them to all our friends and anyone else who needs a DJ for their wedding, or any event.

kept the party going. I cannot wait to see our video because the videographers really took their time to make sure they were getting some great shots. Empire is definitely the way to go for anyone who is looking for a 1 stop shop for dj, video and photobooth.

ils faster than I could send them! The DJ was incredible, Photobooth was incredible, and videographers were incredible. And not to mention you can’t beat their prices. I 100% will be using them again for future events.

. Everyone was very happy with the music. They knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. The videographers did such an amazing job with our video. I may be biased but I think our wedding video is one of the best I've ever seen. And the videographers were really unintrusive while filming. They were very good at being discreet but capturing all of the special moments. Thank you!!

for us. Highly recommend!!

vendor is a pleasure to work with and knows every wedding venue in their area. Do not hesitate to hire them.

sy to work with, so professional, great price point, and I'm not kidding even before dinner people were already coming up to me saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to and I know it was a lot of Empire Sound's doing. Book them, you won't regret it.

nt contact with me through the months leading up to the big day. He executed on all the music and vibe we discussed. Dom and team even let myself, my best man, and the bridemaids all make special requests to make our wedding unique and special. If you want to have an absolute banger, just let Dom know you want it to be a “horse head on the dance floor” kinda night. Entrances and the way Dom Mc’d everything was perfect. Can’t thank you all enough! The photo booth, the music, the setup, the flexibility to extend the wedding by 30 mins, I can’t say enough about the Empire Sound team! 2 guests from my wedding already asked for a referral to them, and it’s only been 24 hours since the big day!

d length was great. We are truly grateful for how great he was!

ing perfectly and the dance floor alive. We had a smaller wedding and that is not always easy to do with a smaller crowd. The photo booth was a hit as well! We highly recommend Empire Sound.

ceremony, to the bridesmaids walking in, and my own, the bride's, song as I walked into the ceremony were on point and played with perfect timing. We and our guests loved all of the music they played throughout the reception!

g the night away!!!! I would hire them for any future event!

for our wedding day. The moment we got engaged I wanted to lock them down… and they did NOT disappoint. Every aspect of working with them was seamless and amazing.

rowd moving, and met with us beforehand to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. Frank was amazing as he catered to all our song requests while perfectly reading the room and knowing what songs to compliment what we wanted played. We got tons of compliments afterwards on how great the music was. We coordinated with Jamielyn beforehand who answered all our questions and was always available to speak with us. They also provided a photobooth which was a huge hit! Cannot recommend enough!

lped keep it going! I am very picky with music, and Dominic & his team did a fantastic job. The music for the ceremony was wonderful as well. Guests all said what a fun party it was, and everyone enjoyed the photo booth as well. We have seen some teasers from the videography, and everything looks AMAZING. Highly highly recommend!

nick was incredibly helpful with helping me pick the perfect package. He answered all my questions and promptly. We did have to reschedule due to Covid from 2020 to 2021 and Dominick handle the situation with compassion and made it super easy for us. Kashawn and Marcus came 30 minutes early and were incredibly professional and funny, they immediately felt like friends. They did such a good job at getting all the key moments we wanted and many we didn’t even know we wanted! We had our teaser literally WITHIN DAYS of the wedding. It blew all my expectations out of the water. Now we have our highlight reel and let me just say it was AMAZING! it will be something I cherish forever. If I could give Empire sound more than 5 stars I would!

orked with Dominick, Frankie, Rock, Jamielynn and the cinematographers multiple times and every single one of them has always been phenomenal. Starting with the ceremony the DJ did a fantastic job, right on the music cues and everything was played perfectly. Dominick (the owner) was so attentive throughout the entire process. He was quick to answer my multiple emails. I was struggling with a song to be introduced to during the reception and after sitting with Dominick and talking a bit he recommended and put together The Greatest Showman (we're big fans) and we LOVED it. We requested DJ Frankie and he came down from Oneonta on a Friday night after his morning classes just for our wedding. We've known him for years and our wedding day would not have been the same without him. He knew what we wanted to hear, when we wanted to hear it and the music was amazing all night. MC Rock was fantastic and kept the dance floor full all night. He was always on the dance floor with us and engaging everyone to get up and dance. Great high energy and always moving and making sure we were having a good time. Jamielynn and the Photobooth were a huge hit! Guests were lining up all night and she kept the prop table clean and neat and also had no problems printing extra photos for us to take home! We decided to not go with an album and made a shadowbox frame for ourselves instead. If you're questioning whether to do cinematography/videography there is no question about it. DO IT. They were a last minute add on and I'm so happy with just the teaser trailer I got a week after the wedding! They did such a great job already I can't wait to see the end result. 110% recommend Empire Sound. They're the best DJ, MC, Photobooth and Cinematographers around! #ISaidYesToES

h, the up lighting was gorgeous and the music was spot on. Your MC was so great at keeping the energy alive. We keep thinking about our day over and over again and could not have imagined it more perfect. Thank you for being awesome!

er email wasn’t the greatest especially prior to the wedding, when we spoke to Dom we were able to cover all information required for our day. Dominick and his team played about 90% of the music we asked for and even the Star spangled banner which was requested by one of our guests. The videographers and drone controller blended with the party we barely knew they were there. The photo booth was a huge hit and a lot of our guests used it. The package we got had all three services for 5500 and we received a guest book signed with strips of pictures taken throughout the night. They are a great company and offer a lot to make your big day great!

al and Rock had our party flowing all night. We got multiple comments on how great our music was. We had guests from age 2-88 and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Highly recommend.

I highly suggest everyone adds a videographer . Unfortunately as the bride and groom you miss really awesome things like the wedding party entrance , 1 million percent worth it !! Empire sounds did an amazing job interacting with our guests and really making our wedding our vision . We had a jammed packed wedding with bouquet/garter toss , shoe game , certain dances , coordinating a sparkler exit and empire sounds HOOKED IT UP ! I wouldn’t change one single thing about them they were an absolute joy to with ! And I know you all are wondering the price was more than reasonable for the entertainment they provided !! My husband and I had a wonderful experience with all of our vendors so I encourage anyone who’s looking to check them out . Here’s their instagrams ! r our day. He made our wedding day an awesome time for everyone there! Empire sound went above and beyond to make our day the best.

ly on the spot when I asked him about putting mine and my Father's requests together for our dance. He was super responsive to emails and when we met to go over our wedding song list he really just got us. He had the dance floor going from the very first song to the very last. Dominick was such more than a DJ and MC. He truly became a part of the party which was great. He constantly checked in on my husband and I and honored all of our requests. If we ever need a DJ again we will definitely hire Dominick and Empire Sound. Our guests can't say enough good things and neither can we.

the team at Empire Sound for making our special day a memorable one!
