If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Emily and Ryan were by far our favorite vendor that we hired for our wedding, we cannot recommend them enough!! From our initial call, we could tell they were going to be great - great energy, lots of experience, super responsive. They made sure to touch base about what type of photos we wanted to capture and gave us tips on how to best accomplish everything based on their experience. On the wedding day, they brought such a positive energy, their dynamic is amazing. They made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, they gave direction so we were posed but nothing felt or looked forced. They captured every single moment in such a natural and candid way. We had multiple guests comment on how great the photographers were, there seriously wasn't a moment that they missed!! The photos turned out STUNNING! Not to mention, they literally sent us a sneak peak album 1 DAY after the wedding with tons of photos!!! This was the most incredible thing to have so much content to share (literally 24 hours later!) and be able to re-live the day!! Also, the final gallery came out less then 4 weeks later!!!! We also used them for video and we got a wedding video "trailer" within days of the wedding too!!! They are incredible! We are so blown away by the quality of their work, EMRY Photography is the ABSOLUTE BEST! If you don't book them you are missing out big time.

We decided that we wanted to splurge on a photographer to ensure we had photos to commemorate our special day. Emily and Ryan did not disappoint. We absolutely love every one of the 1500+ photos that are part of our final gallery. From the first phone call, Ryan was incredibly helpful and we immediately knew that we could trust him to take good care of us--from recommendations of other vendors, guidance on our timeline, experience shooting at our venue, and overall good vibe. Brian our photographer and the entire Emry Photography team was amazing! From the moment we met for engagement photos to wedding prep to the day itself and getting the photos and videos back, our experience was wonderful. They are so full of knowledge that I found myself referring back to her timeline when giving other vendors information. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to them! And our photos are absolutely PERFECT! They did an incredible job capturing the joy and love of the day. Looking back at them now, I can feel myself at the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Emry Photography was amazing from start to finish. They responded to my initial inquiry within 2 hours and scheduled a phone call for the following day. The first call was very productive and clearly communicated their offerings. They were super welcoming and even offered to view them as our second wedding planner, open to answering any questions we had about wedding planning. One plus for us was that they were already familiar with our wedding venue! We decided to book our wedding photography and videography through Emry on that very first phone call. For the wedding day, they went above and beyond. They helped provide inputs on where the lighting would turn out the best in photos. Ryan and Emily made all of us (even older family members) feel comfortable in front of the camera by making jokes and even demoing the poses for us. Sean was an amazing videographer as well, and the three of them worked seamlessly and efficiently together to capture all the events of our big day. They had all arrived to the wedding venue before us and captured some beautiful drone footage of the area and our other vendors setting up. They also kept us updated when they noticed a lighting issue causing flickering while recording the wedding speeches so they worked quickly with the venue staff to fix the problem. We were so grateful they worked unlimited hours for us! They were right in the middle of the dance floor with us, but we barely noticed them. They were able to capture the true essence of our big dance party. After the wedding, the sneak peek done in a few days. The full-length video and all the photos were completed within 2 months. We loved the natural timeless look of the editing of the photos. In addition, Sean updated the video to our liking, making a couple of small edits. We also received an USB of all photos in the mail. We could not have asked for better service. We highly recommend Emry Photography!

My husband & I hired EMRY to be a part of our wedding day for both photography & videography. Ryan and Emily are AMAZING!! Not just as photographers but as people, providing wedding suggestions, planners and as wedding guests. From my first phone call with Ryan, even before booking with them, he was giving me suggestions on vendors and wedding day recommendations. EMRYs extensive photo wishlist/homework really came in handy the day of and made us realize what was most important to get pictures of. Being able to work with 2 photographers really made it special the morning of our wedding seeing Emily could shoot with the bridal party the morning of and Ryan got to shoot with the grooms party. Plus they both did an awesome job keeping us on our time schedule and getting us to the venue on time. Once we were there they used their knowledge of the area and our list of must have photos to get the us most beautiful wedding shots. Then during the reception they were everywhere and nowhere all at once getting photos that no one saw them take but we are so grateful they did. They also were so kind asking us if we needed any food or drinks during the night. They stayed with us for almost the whole reception and asked if we wanted them to stay longer after being with us for 10 hours already. EMRY got our sneak peak photos back to us in the matter of weeks and it was a good amount of pictures. The final finished portfolio is gorgeous, the packaging of the USB was so pretty and the USB itself is beautiful. We were so lucky to have found EMRY Photography and have them be such an important part of our wedding adventure.

Where do we even begin to write a review for the most amazing photographers? My wife and I decided to divide and conquer when it came to booking vendors for our wedding. While we both discussed vendors we found, we found that we were more passionate about certain parts of our wedding. Being a lover of photography I knew from the start that I wanted an amazing photographer. I had heard horror stories of people that never get their photos or other couples simply do not like how their wedding pictures came out. I started looking on the Knot and immediately found EMRY. Ryan was the very first photographer I spoke to. He was so warm and welcoming in our first conversation and when I told him the price we were looking for, he was honest and said he was above our range. He also said that if we weren’t the right fit for him, he would be happy to give us feedback on other photographers. In that conversation he said a few things that stuck with me. First, he told us to make sure we are getting the rights to our photos because some photographers take your pictures but want more money to give you access to printing the photos. He also said when you book a photographer through EMRY you are getting unlimited hours the day of the wedding. Lastly, he really pushed for us to have 2 photographers for our wedding of 125 guests. After realizing he might be a bit out of our price range we began to hunt for other photographers. I looked at around 30 other photographers. Many did not contact me back, were difficult to get ahold of, or we simply didn’t like their overly filtered photos. It was important to us that our photos looked like us and not like the cover of Vogue magazine. We kept circling back to EMRY. They were always the standard we would compare other photographers to. Interestingly enough, while being the highest rated, they were also the most responsive and the only photographer I can find in San Diego County that offers unlimited hours of photography on the day of the wedding. After a while of searching we finally decided to book them. Worth it, is an understatement. We booked our engagement shoot and they gladly continually worked with us having to reschedule due to weather. When we did the engagement shoot with Brian, we absolutely loved him. He was excellent, friendly, and funny. Needless to say the photos that came out were stunning. Fast forward to our wedding planning and Ryan went above and beyond. Our wedding coordinator was lacking in the area of planning out the wedding timeline. In about 25 minutes Ryan helped us create the perfect timeline for our wedding. What photographer does that? For the wedding we booked 2 photographers and their photobooth. The day of the wedding our photographers were right on time with Sean and Brian splitting up to the bride and groom. They were both very professional, yet really helped us both be at ease on a nerve wracking day. They helped us navigate the craziness of taking photos with our very large families. They also were there until the very end. The photo booth they offered was so much fun and we loved how guests received copies as well as copies for our guest book. Within a week of the wedding we had received a sneak peak of around 50 pictures that were nothing short of stunning. Within 3 weeks we received over 1300 beautiful photos that were taken. The photos they have given us from our special day are priceless. I recently told my wife that they are worth double the price they charge. Even the USB they sent us with the photos was packaged so thoughtfully. The only thing now is to wait for our wedding album, which I am sure will be beautiful.

Working with Emily and Ryan (EMRY) was the best decision we made for our wedding. They made every thing easy and accommodated our needs. They were super responsive and on top of the process. They were not available for the day of, so we worked with Brian (a member of their team) for our wedding day. As Emily and Ryan were, Brian was also amazing. He made the process easy and comfortable day of. Highly recommend working with the Emry team!

Honestly, working with EMRY is the best money I have ever spent. The professionalism, the thoughtfulness, the sheer kindness, that Ryan and Emily provide to their clients is above and beyond all expectation. Seriously, they are the best. They will make you feel like royalty, and they will ensure your wedding goes smoothly. Ryan instantly stepped into a coordinator role when things were getting out of hand, and Emily helped with my veil, and decorations. Seriously worth every single penny and more. They will take an incredible amount of photos, and you will love them all. Nobody ever loves pictures of themselves, but EMRY's photos are to die for. We cannot recommend EMRY enough, seriously.

Wow my husband and I are so happy we hired EMRY for photography and videography for our wedding day!! Not only are they so friendly and excited to get to know each couple, but their whole team is AMAZING amazing at what they do. We did an engagement session first with one of the two photographers we were going to have on our wedding day, Brian. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, relaxed, and most importantly we had fun! We got the full album of edited photos back within a week, and we were blown away with how beautiful they turned out. After that, we were even more excited and confident for our wedding day! We had Brian and Nick as our two photographers, and they were amazing. The pictures are so beautiful, they did an amazing job capturing each moment, including lots of candids of our guests, which we were wanting! We can’t recommend the EMRY team enough and we are so thankful they were part of our wedding day!!

There are really no words to describe how incredible Ryan & Emily are! From the very start, they were warm, welcoming, friendly, caring, and so knowledgeable! They truly take the time and know exactly what they are talking about. Emry did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and every single photo is beautiful with the perfect lighting. On our wedding day, they took everything we asked and turned it into photos that will last a lifetime. The timeless photos and quality is just unbelievable! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emry Photography.  We fell in love with their work once we saw their instagram page and they did not disappoint!  They captured our day perfectly.  They took us to the best spots at our venue (incredible sunset photos!!) and even captured candid photos of friends and family that ended up being some of our favorites!  Not to mention that spending our wedding day with Emily and Ryan felt like we were spending our day with two of our favorite friends!  I could go on and on about their photos and professionalism (we got our entire album in fewer than 4 weeks!) but I was also impressed with their help in the wedding planning process.  They suggested other wonderful vendors and were available to answer questions and suggest ideas for our big day.  For example, their idea for Table Touches (getting photos with each table) is still a favorite memory of ours and our guests and their idea for how to create an incredible grand exit led to one of our absolute favorite photos of the evening!  They're the best!

Emery Photograpy is the only photographer you should consider for your wedding!!!!! They were amazing from the moment they arrived at the venue until they presented us with our wedding album which was far beyond any expectations. Their talented photographers captured touching, loving, and hilarious moments many of which we weren’t aware that took place. The Emery team are amazingly talented and creative artists whose work is absolutely impeccable in addition to being a true pleasure with whom to work!!!!!

Emily & Ryan were fantastic to work with for our wedding! They were very responsive throughout the entire planning process, and thorough about what we wanted in terms of photos/details. Both of them are so friendly, and had our best interest at heart. They were flexible with substitutions for our package (we had already had engagement photos planned with my best friend, so they substituted that element with a photo booth that was, unsurprisingly, a huge hit with our guests). On the big day, they were on-site before any of us (as well as last to leave!) and had a very efficient flow for pictures (we had a first look, so had a lot of photos taken prior to the ceremony) as to not take us away for too much of the cocktail hour/reception. They were very knowledgeable of our venue & good photo spots. They were SUPER fast with our sneak peek pictures after the wedding and provided us with so many to choose from! I had known other couples who only received about 30 or so photos, and we received about triple that for sneak peeks alone. I was very impressed with the quality of the photos and enjoyed spending the day with Emily and Ryan :)

So many GREAT things to say about EMRY, I don't know where to start! When we started the hunt for our wedding photographer, my wife and I wanted to find someone that would become a part of the whole experience and not just show up, snap some photos and leave. From our initial call with Emily and Ryan, they made us feel so well taken care of, it was mind blowing! Throughout the entire planning process, they were always available and more than willing to lend advice, they even helped plan out the day of schedule with our planner. The day of our wedding, Ryan and Emily were the MVPs without a doubt. They did such a great job at wrangling our large family photos and making us both feel comfortable throughout the entire day! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone!

I loved that Ryan and Emily were flexible especially on the wedding day as we were off schedule but they patiently worked with us. They are a great couple that went above and beyond to capture moments of our wedding day that we will forever treasure ❤️

Hiring Emily & Ryan was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Photo was really important to us, but beyond just the photographer’s work, it was also really important that we liked & felt comfortable with thrm. We knew from the first call with Ryan that they were the ones. They honestly helped us through the entire wedding process, beyond just the photography. Ryan was always available and so helpful - even with random things like recommendations in the area, thoughts on how many HMU artists we needed, etc. And on the big day, we absolutely loved having them by our side. Not only are they both just super cool, but they made us feel comfortable, gave direction when needed but also let us do our thing, and were just the best sidekicks all night. So many of our guests commented on how awesome they were, and how even more importantly, most of the time they didn’t even notice them — which is definitely a trait of a good photographer - capturing everything without interfering or forcing moments. And MY GOD are the photos STUNNING!!! They truly captured the experience for us, even down to the emotions. I can’t sing their praises enough, thank you guys so freaking much!

My review for EMRY photography is long overdue as my wedding was August 31, 2022. Photography in my mind is the single most important thing that you will spend for on your wedding because the day goes by so fast that you are going to want every image captured that you were not able to see with your own eyes. Ryan and Emily were able to be my eyes when I couldn’t be everywhere; they captured all the images that I requested. They were also very helpful in the weeks and days and even months leading up to the wedding with all of the questions that I had. It was very important for me and my husband to have our dogs in our photographs before the wedding and they were able to make it work and they were able to work with my dogs. All of the requests that I had they were able to accommodate without a problem when we got our sneak peek photos back I was floored at how amazing everything looked when we got our gallery back I was even more amazed at how many photos they were able to take, and all the moments that they were able to capture. I was really worried that booking a photographer that none of my friends or family had worked with would make for massive amounts of awkward situations and I wasn’t really wanting that on my big day but when we met with Ryan and Emily over the phone, over FaceTime and finally in person it wasn’t awkward at all. They fit right in, and their personalities were great to work with. Thanks to both Ryan and Emily for capturing my big day and for dealing with my never ending amount of questions.

Emily & Ryan make such a great photographer team, we were so happy with our decision to use them for our wedding in early November. Before our wedding, we had a lovely engagement photoshoot in Fallbrook, with some amazing shots. They showed up early on wedding day and were with us from the start of getting ready, all the way until the end of the night. The pictures they took were absolutely amazing and well beyond our expectations. We've only seen a snapshot so far, but should be receiving the full album shortly. I would highly recommend using them, they are so friendly and know their stuff when it comes to photography.

Ryan & Emily are truly amazing to work with! Within minutes of our first inquiry call, we knew we wanted them to be our wedding photographers! They completely understood what we were looking for and were so easy to work with! The day of, it felt more like having friends around than photographers and they did a wonderful job of making everyone feel so comfortable! We had some unexpected weather on our wedding day and they were total troupers out in the rain getting every shot they needed. All in all, they were the best photographers we could’ve asked for to document our big day! We’re so grateful to have worked with them and for the photos they were able to produce of our wedding! 100% recommend!!

We hired Emily and Ryan for both our engagement photoshoot, and to shoot and record our wedding. This was hands down one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Emily, Ryan, and the rest of their team are some of the most professional people we have ever worked with. They are extremely organized, and helped guide us through every step of our wedding. They even helped us with various aspects of wedding planning that were not related to photography and videography. Emily and Ryan had such a calming and reassuring presence during the wedding that we never felt anxious or worried at all. We're so happy we went with Emry for our wedding photos! Throughout the whole process, Emily and Ryan were always quick to respond to any questions that we had. Brian was our photographer for the wedding day and he was awesome to work with! Even when our timeline got slightly shifted due to hair and makeup running late, Brian was on top of it and handled our families amazingly to make sure we got through the first look and all our group photos before the ceremony. In general, he was such a positive presence during the day and made it so fun to pose for all the photos! Even our families told us how much they enjoyed working with Brian! The photos themselves turned out beautiful and even better than we could have imagined. Brian was able to capture all the shots we had asked for and more. We highly recommend the Emry team for anyone considering them for their wedding or any other events. The combination of their professionalism and the quality of work stands out from the rest.

We had Rachel and Kevin as our photographers and they were nothing but amazing. Kevin shot the shit with the boys and made them all feel comfortable with something outside of their comfort zone. Rachel kept everything moving, helped button up my dress and made sure we got every picture on our list. The photos were exactly what I was looking for the raw and real photos that just make you look a little better.

No exaggeration, I love each and every one of my wedding photos! Emily and Ryan are amazing. Starting at the beginning I was immediately comfortable after our consultation call. EMRY photography was amazing!! When Emily and Ryan showed up on my wedding day there was an instant connection and it felt like we were old friends. They were efficient and helped keep my wedding day running smoothly and on time. My husband and I got married at Grand Tradition in June. We had two photographers, Brian and Andrew, who were absolutely amazing. We also worked with Ryan months before our wedding. Prior to our wedding Ryan met with us over the phone and asked what we were looking for in a photographer, the types of photos we liked, and went about and beyond answering any questions we might have about the venue, the area, and tips for planning a wedding. About a month before, we answered a questionnaire which communicated the finer details with our photographers. On the day of the wedding, their experience was evident through the way they guided us, made us feel comfortable, and vibed with us, our court, and guest. The shots they captured were breathtaking.
