Emily did a fabulous job! She was great to talk to and wasn't phased that I failed to send her an example of the makeup I wanted. I gave a brief summary of "natural, soft, romantic" and she completed my makeup as requested. We don't have our photos back yet but top notch service!

Emily was so informative & super sweet! She was very flexible with the styles and made me feel so comfortable! We even had a few different trials because I couldn’t decide & she was so patient and helpful! I also had a bad acne flare up before my wedding and she knew just what to do to calm my skin down & cover it with the make up. What a great team! Initial setup was a breeze, Emily was responsive and helpful. I was booking pretty close to my wedding date but she was able to accommodate me. I got connected with Pam who was such a pleasure to work with! So sweet, caring and understanding. She spent ample time on my trial appointment and knocked it out of the park with my hair! I liked my makeup but it wasn’t quite reflective of me but Pam was totally open to my edit requests. On my actual wedding day, she somehow made my hair look even better than the trial and totally nailed the makeup look I was going for. I am so grateful to have found this team…thank you EMV Beauty!

Emily went above and beyond on making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She also gave me tips for skin and hair products. I recommend doing a hair and makeup trial to determine exactly what you want. I changed up my makeup a little bit and it turned out perfect. My boho braid was so beautiful and I loved her idea of incorporating fresh baby’s breathe.

MY GLAM QUEEN – I was referred to Emily by my wedding planner and was looking for a Latina who could transform me into a stunning bride and make my wedding party feel and look incredible. I had my hair trial with Emily on the day of my bridal shower and she did just that! She even made my mother feel comfortable, who has never styled her hair for an event. This meant a lot. From the trial, there were a few changes I wanted to have for my hair on wedding day and Emily was able to take the changes and give me the EXACT look I was going for – glam Hollywood waves. We jazzed it up with pearls and I felt like a classy bride. The compliments on my hair were endless. My wedding party were also styled beautifully as Emily and her assistant, Jenni, collaborated to keep 8 ladies on time! Y’all, if there is any hesitation to book Emily let me tell you to literally drop everything and book her now. Honestly getting my makeup done with Emily was probably one of my favorite part of my entire wedding day. She made me feel like the most beautiful person in the world. Emily and her beauty team were the perfect choice to make sure my bridal party looked amazing. I had so many compliments on my hair and make up. She was easy to reach, professional and accommodating. I don’t like the feeling of a lot of make up, so I did two trials with her to find the style I liked best. For someone who only wears mascara and fills in their eyebrows, it was different wearing a full face. Emily was able to apply light coverage to make my face smooth for photos, but not hide my freckles. I highly recommend her company.

Emily and her team were AMAZING for my wedding day. They did all of our makeup (we all ranged in different skin types, hair color, eye color, dress colors), and they nailed every one. Each girl is very selective with what they like, and they listened to each girl’s likes and dislikes. Everyone truly felt like their natural selves were just enhanced. Emily went above and beyond for us. She not only made us look more beautiful and feel more confident than ever, she was THE sweetest soul and had a very calming presence. She was in the middle of doing my hair when our photographer cancelled @ 11:30am with a 5pm ceremony time. She contacted someone she knew, showed me her pictures and had not only someone lined up for us within an hour, someone FANTASTIC lined up for us within the hour. My husband and I were married on 12/3/21 in Venice, FL. We were so fortunate with perfect weather, closest out of town friends, local delicious food, and our dearest family. But, without Emily (EMV Beauty) the day just would not have been the same. From Massachusetts, as a gift, my Maid of Honor surprised me with Emily’s services just by a quick, easy Google search. Her business came highly recommended, with several accommodating options for services that truly eliminated a lot of “day-of” stressors. Not that we had a crazy, doozy of a day, but I will say Emily keeps her cool and totally knows how to chill out a bride! Everything about the process, from the initial booking to the trial through to our wedding day, was simple, logical, transparent, and absolutely beautiful. As the bride, I had my hair and makeup done. My hair is fine and not very long, so I knew I needed extensions. I purchased my own, but Emily helped point me in the right direction, and helped get them in the best condition to match my hair; she even called in a friend for consultation! My makeup was flawless, and my face eats make up. Emily listened to my specific concerns about my skin (it’s so complicated), recommended some lovely products to try leading up to the day, and adjusted to feedback to accommodate me. Emily listened to how I wanted to appear as natural as possible, but still with enough to pick up in photographs. Emily was very detail oriented, accommodating and a true professional. Emily takes great pride in her work. She emanates it through her punctuality, conversation (such a kind, genuine person!), appearance, thoroughness, and obvious dedication to her craft. She also did my MOH’s makeup, and my bonus daughter’s hair and makeup. Each of us with different skin types, colors, and conditions she absolutely nailed it. I hired Emily for hair and makeup for my destination wedding. Because I live in Michigan, I didn’t have the opportunity to have a trial beforehand. That made me a little nervous but I trusted Emily and her previous work. I used hair extensions for some length since I have short hair and she did an incredible job making my hair look natural. The makeup looked flawless too. Emily is so sweet and kind and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! You will not regret hiring her!

Emily and her team were everything I'd hoped they would be! Emily is very professional, punctual and prepared, but she is also super friendly, very funny and beautiful inside and out. I asked her where to leave a review because I hope more and more people use her services for their big day and important events. I had a flawless look and I cried so many tears throughout the day, but my makeup stayed all evening and into the morning hours. My hair was a big updo were complex looks and she copied it to a tee! Could'nt recommend her more!

Emily and her team did an absolutely amazing job accommodating all of my ladies needing hair and makeup on the wedding day. She was excellent with her communication, and executed everything beautifully. My sisters and I said that we had never felt prettier than that day. I can’t say enough good things! She was an absolute godsend, and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. 2 minutes into my trial I was ready to book her just on her energy alone. I did 5 other hair and makeup trials and none of them even came close to how beautiful I looked and felt walking out of her salon. My makeup was beautiful, but my hair absolutely stole the show. I got more compliments on my hair than probably any other part of the wedding. I really can’t say enough good things and I will be recommending her to every future bride I know.
