This is your photographer!! Emily is on time and professional. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and we’re able to get beautiful intimate photos that i always hoped for. You can tell that Emily is passionate about what she does and gets so excited/ pumped for a good shot. She is highly reliable and it was timely with getting out photos back to us. I truly couldn’t be more happy with the photos we received.

My daughter’s engagement photos were stunning. Wedding, well, not so much. When the bride gets a call morning of the wedding that the photog can’t make it, well, that’s a problem. Claimed she was sick. May have been but took 5 months to get the photos from the substitute photographer. Hard situation but the mother of the bride shouldn’t have to give exposure advise at the wedding (!?!?!?!) and we should have gotten a partial refund. And where’s the photo book 3 years later!?!?

WOW, I just want to start off with how absolutely amazing Emily is! She worked with me over 2 years ago to help plan my perfect shoot for our wedding. She was patient, kind, and had such amazing ideas to help make our photos beyond perfect. Knowing that it was going to 100% rain on my wedding day, Emily went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our photos beautiful. She even stood out in the freezing rain to capture the best photos of us AND did a private photo shoot in the bridal suite to make everything absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to work with her and her team again! She will be my photographer for life!! BEST decision I ever made was picking her as our photographer!!

I was hesitant to write this review but after much encouraging from other friends and brides, I felt it was important to share my experience. I was very excited to have Emily take my wedding photos as her photos on her website were amazing and artsy. The day of our wedding, she had to leave 3 hours early from the reception. She had forgotten medication that she required so she had to go home. Thank goodness we added a second photographer a few weeks before the wedding! Emily advised our wedding planner that she would discount the bill since she missed most of our wedding reception. When I reached out about this discount, she hesitantly discounted a pro-rated amount for the second photographers add on price. It was a fraction of the cost to add a second photographer so it was disappointing that she only discounted the 2nd photographer 's rate despite the fact that she was the one that wasn't there. We paid for her expertise that we didn't get. The pro-rated amount for 3 hours was less than her hourly rate. It was also disappointing because we missed out on a lot of reception photos. We had an ice luge and don't have a any pictures of our wedding guests doing it - only a handful of us. The 2nd photographer stepped up and handled herself well despite the circumstances. However, you can tell a difference in the expertise and quality of the photos that Emily took versus the 2nd photographer. Given that she left early you would think that she would get us our wedding photos and book in a timely manner. It took 3 months to get our wedding photos. Her contract said 6-8 weeks. I politely followed up a few times as we wanted to use wedding photos for Christmas cards (we got married in September). She replied that she was busy with holiday photos. I would think that finishing the photos of a wedding that took place months ago would take priority? I then continued to follow up for our wedding album which finally came 7 months after our wedding. People are appalled when I tell them how long it took to get our photos and album. I never once complained, or was rude or angry, I politely emailed her (and I had my husband reach out when she stopped responding to me) to follow up for the photos and album. I wonder if I had been more assertive, if she would've completed the job sooner. I've seen her other photos and wish that all of mine had turned out as well! I'm sure she does an amazing job normally. This was a combination of unfortunate circumstances with her leaving early and then not trying to rectify the situation properly. Things happen and if you need to leave because you forget necessary medication, then that's completely understandable. But I feel that when a client is paying for services that aren't properly rendered, then there should be appropriate returned funds and finish the contract in a timely manner (refunded us HER hourly rate for 3 hours and stuck to the contracted completion times for the photos and album). I wasn't looking for anything above and beyond, just reasonable accommodations. So at the end of the day, I wish I had used someone else.
