I went to Encanto Rojo with a general idea about proposing to my now fiancée. Encanto Rojo helped turn my idea into a reality with their incredible service and captured the special moment with exceptional photos. Lucero even met with me at the outdoor location the evening before for a walk-through while it was sleeting. And the final photos turned out incredibly. Lucero and Javier are truly talented and have a way of making you feel comfortable. They even sent us photos the evening of the proposal that were edited so that we could share them with our friends and family to announce our news. The quality of the edits were phenomenal and brought the beautiful Riverwalk and Christmas light in the Pearl Brewery area to life even though the photos were captured late in the evening while it was dark. We loved Lucero & Javier’s photos and them as a couple so much that we have decided to book them for our upcoming wedding! This was th quickest and easiest decision we have made in the wedding planning process and knew immediately when we received our proposal photos that we had found our wedding photographers! We can’t wait for them to shoot the wedding and are grateful that we have two people we feel so comfortable with to share the day with. We can’t say enough great things about Lucero & Javier!

From start to finish, we’ve loved everything Lucero and Javier have done for us and our big day! They were so easy to get ahold of when we first reached out getting feelers from photographer. Lucero took the time to FaceTime with us as we live in Houston, for as long as we needed to map out our dream experience. She helped us create a timeline and explained everything we’d need from a photography standpoint. I chose a bridal session with my package. They were so helpful in listing tons of places where we could have the shoot at. They worked around their wedding season schedule and with our travel schedule to book my bridal session to ensure I had bridal portraits to display at our wedding. When we got to the shoot, they made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. They both have such an eye for artistry within their work. It was amazing to watch as they BOTH captured the same shot from different viewpoints. They never ran out of creativity and seemed more inspired with each shot taken. They’re truly a dynamic duo and their work definitely shows from it.

Hi, Philip here. My now wife Grace and I have been together since high school — over 11 years. To say that planning our wedding day was a long time coming is an understatement. One of the biggest priorities for me (and us) was to capture every moment of that day through film. Cold calling Encanto Rojo (Lucero) was the best decision I’ve ever made! Grace found them through a review on Facebook and we met with Lucy the following week. Our initial meeting with her gave us the greatest security because we meshed immediately with her passion and vision. We booked them that same day to secure our date — it was an easy decision and process to complete the contract. The communication with Lucero and Javier (video) throughout the planning process up to our wedding day was excellent! On the day, Lucy and Javier were punctual, friendly with all guests, willing to accommodate time for our HUGE families, and followed our timeline to a T! My wife and I are not the most easy people to pose, yet they captured both candid moments (and poised) between us that I cherish and will hold onto for the rest of our lives. Bottom line: they make you feel like family and that’s the most important part. We were incredibly happy with the services they provided and can’t rave about them enough. What can I say about this team that isn't already felt when you work with them? They're passionate about what they do. They're punctual, professional, and 'click' together. As a team, they take the most amazing shots. One person is taking a portrait while the other goes in for a long, panoramic shot. Their style is almost journalist-like with a carefree and natural-warming feel. We took our engagement pictures at the coast and Lucero even braved bees, snakes, spiders, and sharks to get the most amazing shots for us. What kind of photographer would do that and not make a single peep about it?! They were warm, friendly, and I wasn't nervous at all posing in shots for them. They were excellent directors and gave positive feedback on how to look natural/not-stiff in pictures. When I saw the engagement pictures for the first time online I was at work. I literally downloaded the entire album they shared and tried not to ugly cry from the beauty and raw warmth captured in each shot. I would highly recommend Encanto Rojo for all of your engagement and wedding needs. I don't know if they do maternity and family shoots but I'll definitely hit them up for it in the future if they do. Book them soon. You will not be disappointed.

Lucero & Javier are genuinely nice, punctual, professional, generous with allowing plenty of time to get all the right photos to make sure you are satisfied, and not to mention they take BREATHTAKING photos. I did my bridal portraits with them a few weeks ago and was more than happy with the work they did. They make a great team and I am so excited for them to shoot my wedding in a few months! We love Encato Rojo! From our very first conversation, we knew we had the perfect vendors for our wedding. Lucero was so creative and personable and really tailored her services to our needs. She made us feel comfortable and at ease as went went through the entire process leading up to the day as well as the day of our actual wedding. Being that our wedding was a same sex wedding, being comfortable and at ease with our vendor was a must for us, and she both Lucero and Javier far surpassed our expectation. Lucero and Javier were amazing to work with from beginning to end! My husband and I didn't care to have a huge traditional wedding we wanted something small, simple and quick. Lucero and Javier worked with us on creating a photo timeline and helped make sure that during our 1.5 long wedding (Getting ready, ceremony and reception) we would capture all of the intimate/important moments that we wanted. Although our wedding was short a lot was packed in, and they kept up with every special moment! It was also really really nice to have two photographers to capture the different angels. I loved the way they worked together, I loved the way they edited the photos, and I loved that they were so intent on making sure they understood what WE wanted for photos. When we got back from our honeymoon Lucero wanted to meet with my husband and I so that she could personally go over the photos with us and show us how to work the website that she uploaded all of the photos to and gave us the BEST present. She had one of our wedding photos professionally printed as a gift and we were able to hang one of our wedding photos up that same day. If you are looking for photographers that genuinely care about making sure your wedding day is as special as it should be, choose Encanta Rojo. They are the best.

We chose Encanto Rojo after finding them on Facebook! My (now) husband Philip and I are so grateful that we fell into luck! We met with Lucero with my parents for our intial consultation and after quickly realizing how much we loved Lucero's personality, style, and passion for this art -- we were both sold -- along with my parents. She dedicated so much time into getting to know us as a couple and our personalities. Leading up to the event, they kept open lines of communication and talked us through everything (making it very simple on us). On the day of the wedding, we met Javier for the first time, along with their assistant, and immediately felt like we were old friends, just like we did with Lucero. Neither my husband nor I are very photogenic, but they made it feel like we were! Photos that meant a lot to me were taken at the perfect moments while getting ready with my mom and first look with my dad. We have 8 sets of parents and huge families and they were extremely patient with EVERYBODY, even when I wasn't as much. Haha! Also, Javier did a fantastic job at directing the groomsmen and my hubby in their getting ready suite -- which is super impressive! Another thing that stood out to us was their commitment to our timeline, which was organized with Lucero's help. They were also incredibly flexible and so patient!!! Guests at my wedding complimented their dedication to our big day and how sweet they all are. My husband and I cannot wait to receive our pictures and video. Lucero and Javier are such a joy to work with. They have a great energy, are very professional, and very easy to work with. We are a lesbian couple and they seemed very comfortable working with us, which is not something that you can say about every vendor. We used Encanto's services for our wedding videography (10/7/17) and chose them because we were drawn to their style which seemed more cinematic compared to other companies that we looked at. We heard rumor of a sneak peek of our video coming next week and are super excited to see how it turned out. I can remember their presence at all of our special moments - noticeably present but not at all intrusive or in the way. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, and we can't wait to relive it when the final video arrives! :)
