On the day of the wedding, I truly got to be present and enjoy the moments because I knew Courtney had everything handled – vendors, décor, schedule, family, all of it. She communicated clearly, advocated for what we wanted, and did it all with kindness and a smile. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, I cannot recommend Courtney enough. eamed up a fairy tale wedding in Seal Beach. We had the picturesque Old Ranch Country Club as the backdrop, but desperately needed help filling in all the details. What is the difference between the Genie and Courtney? Very simple. The Genie limits you to three wishes, while Courtney makes every one come true. With a nimble mind and a patient soul, she entertained all of my whimsical indulgences. With honesty, she explained the degree of difficulty of executing each element. Then with confidence she conjured up a plan to turn our pumpkin into a carriage. Her magic is not an illusion, but rather the combination of relentless planning and good ol’ fashioned hard work. No tricks up her sleeves, because she has them rolled up, toiling on the tasks that allowed us to enjoy our journey without getting our hands dirty. We asked for a grand processional parade with 70 guests descending an even grander staircase to a jukebox playlist of two dozen songs. We asked her to move mountains with 340 guests hopscotching the property. We included three live performers, two officiants, and three special guests within our ninety-minute theatrical ceremony. Six V.I.P toasts were sandwiched between a First Dance, a Father-Daughter Dance, a Piano Man and a decadent dinner. Because the Father of the Bride had a birthday on this evening, we re-interpreted the money dance as a celebration of his seventy years on earth, by sending seventy sexy ladies his way with dollar bills in hand. Again, Courtney answered every ask with a smile, and delivered every time. The only thing more impressive that Courtney’s organization is her imagination. You can have it all with Courtney. She accesses her right brain and her left brain, her yin and her yang. Balance is the foundation of any dancer…and Courtney, is at her essence, a dancer. In every forum…on any platform, she dances with grace and precision. She danced around our petty complaints and stubborn demands. She manages difficult personalities as well as she manages her time. She danced dutifully with our vendors. She followed when appropriate and she led when required. Most notably by insisting on the execution of our perfect ending. It was her idea to have us exit the venue through a tunnel of love illuminated by freshly-flamed sparklers…en route (by big red bus) to the after party she meticulously prepared for us. What’s the difference between a fairy godmother and Courtney? The magic doesn’t end at midnight. When it comes to thoughtful details, Courtney is a savant. When it comes to service, she is sublime. As the choreographer of an audacious evening unlike any other, there is only one soul capable of delivering us our fairy tale. We will always be grateful to Courtney, the author of our Ever After.
