They did my decorations for my wedding at Lighthouse Sound Restaurant and everything looked perfect. They very friendly and very professional. Thank you guys so much.

When my oldest daughter got engaged, there was only one person that could bring her vision to life, and that person was Angie Gillis. She helped plan over a year and a half, the most spectacular wedding that would rival any wedding that has been held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. She began the journey with us when she decorated for the engagement party held at our home. As beautiful as it was, I could only imagine what the wedding would be. She even helped pick out the engagement party invitations to make sure the theme was carried out completely. From the bridal party flowers, to the bridesmaid luncheon, to the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the unbelievable reception in the ballroom, to the decorating of the bridal suite, everything was true perfection. When people asked if we would change anything about the wedding, we have said over and over again, not one thing (with the exception of my son not attending due to a serious car accident the week before). When Angie realized that we were going through a horrible personal tragedy, she completely took over and made sure every last detail was perfect. I don't know what I would have done had she not taken control that week because we certainly couldn't. She is calm, easy to talk to, and really takes tremendous pride in bringing vision to ideas. She is talented beyond belief and we are so very lucky to have her in this area! There is no doubt that when our next daughter gets married, we won't have to look far for the best wedding coordinator/decorator/extraordinaire!

When Eric & I first met with Angie we didn't know what to expect at all. I had heard her work was great so we sat down & presented our vision to her. As a business owner I didn't really have the time or interest in thinking about EVERY detail that went into planning a wedding. My prayer was answered when Angie got done showing me her vision for our big day. I had been pretty clear in what I wanted the day to look & feel like but she totally brought it to life in a version even better than my own! After seeing it drawn out & detailed I was completely at ease leaving matters in Angie's hands. Eric was BLOWN away by her vision & all that she had designed. When I walked up to our venue I was so eager to see it all come to life and knew that our family/friends would be so impressed. To see the little details that she put on our centerpieces, the walkway, & entrance was so sureal! Needless to say - I am SOOO grateful that someone gave me her name and number. I definitely believe that JOY is what planning a wedding & beginning a marriage should be about. Angie & her team allowed me to have joy through the planning process knowing that it would be MORE than perfect...& it was!!! If you haven't seen our pictures - they speak louder than words! Working with Angie & the Encore Events team for our wedding was an amazing experience and exceeded all expectations! We had a general idea of the concept we were seeking for our coastal wedding, but Angie helped design it to the next level with her unique and creative ideas. The details were exceptional, and all was accomplished within budget. It was comforting to know Angie and her team were handling all the coordination, which helped alleviate our stress. The Encore Event team was professional and reliable, but more importantly super fun and creative! I would highly recommend Encore Events for your special occasion ... I have no doubt they will help create an extraordinary and memorable event!

The Encore Events team gave me a wedding beyond anything I could have ever imagined. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew I just had to use them for my special day. You dream it, they can do it. Angie is SO creative and every idea I had, she took it and made it ten times better. My beach ceremony was rained out, an absolute horror to most brides. BUT Angie and her team came through to make my ceremony/reception space look spectacular. I was surprised to see an aisle runner with our initials on it, something I didn't even know about until I walked down the aisle! Every detail was just perfect, and my rained-out beach ceremony turned into an intimate indoor experience. Angie also provided day-of wedding coordination. She kept everything moving and every single guest had a blast. Angie and Jordy always quickly responded to my frequent emails, and assured me they had it all taken care of (and trust me, they did!). They are both friendly and professional. My centerpieces, bouquets, and decorations were all beautiful. Hands down, they are truly the best of the best. I cannot recommend them enough!

To sum it up in one word. AMAZING! From the moment you meet Angie until the end of your wedding day, she puts 110% into every detail. Her genuine care for her clients is quite apparent, as she is in constant communication with you through every step, including price point, vision for the day, details for the room, etc. Angie and her team worked tirelessly to bring everything I had imagined to fruition. I look back on the pictures and think, wow I was lucky to find her! Angie and Encore Events, thank you again for taking my special day to a whole new level of perfect!

Angie Gillis is by far the best wedding planner around! Her attention to detail and the way she took my ideas and made them so much more than I ever thought possible were both phenomenal. We used a shared private Pinterest board to pass along ideas so she knew what I liked, but she didn't copy anything I pinned. She made everything so fresh and new and original. Not only were the decorations wonderful (hanging pieces of fabric from a barn ceiling were phenomenal), but the bouquets, boutonnieres, and floral decorations were breathtaking. She made personal touches a central theme in our special day and I still get compliments on our wedding almost two years later. Angie is kind, passionate, and such a loving person and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to create a magical, original, fantastic wedding day or any other event.

You girl, are "da bomb"! When I met you a while back, I knew without a doubt in my mind that you would be able to make our Italian themed "God Father" wedding a reality!!! From the bouquets, boutonnieres, beach grasses, to the candy buffet, sign in table, and all the table arrangements~you were able to surpass our every expectation! You literally blew us away! I still can't believe how you could fit all of those amazing details into our tiny little budget. I can't tell you how thankful we are to have you design our big day! Bobby and I will always cherish that day and never forget how absolutely beautiful it was. Our guest are still talking about it! I am such a lucky girl to have met you and better yet work alongside of you, you are truly an inspiration!
