eir DJs. Since we were planning our Western NY wedding from CA, this was wildly helpful. From that event, we knew Jordan was the girl for us! Her energy was infectious, even on Zoom, and her mixes were the perfect blend of old school and new style music - we couldn’t help but dance around our living room when her promo came on. The platform Encore Events shared for tracking the music and timeline for the day was intuitive, easy to use and kept everything really organized. On the day of the wedding, Jordan and team brought the energy - there wasn’t a single guest who didn’t get on the dance floor at some point of the night. She exceeded all expectations and we’re so grateful for her and the Encore Events team!

her into a slow dance!!!! They generously gave us a copy and then when I asked them if they happened to record our whole ceremony, they said yes and sent along that audio as well!!! Our ceremony was hilarious and I feel so lucky that they captured the audio, and the true emotion of those 15 minutes. That audio is my FAVORITE GIFT that I received and Encore went above and beyond to 1. Even think of doing that! and 2. Gifting it to us afterwards. Truly touching and an incredible way to go above and beyond for a customer. I also really appreciated their guidance as we were selecting songs for the party. Two things stood out…1. There were songs where I said I HAD to be on the dance floor for…But as the bride I kept getting pulled away. I heard one of my songs being played as I was leaving the dance floor but the DJ, adjusted on the fly and brought it back for me later in the night. I was SO THANKFUL.  And the last thing i loved, Rich actually just said in passing as we were doing music selection. But he said if I only wanted the chorus of certain songs then he could make that work too. I was surprised at how many songs I really only knew the chorus too and I felt like I got to hear so many songs and all of my favorite parts to them!! Loved the music platform that they used to create all of those song selections too!  I’m SO GLAD that we used them as our vendor. I originally just wanted my brother to “dj” with a playlist, and I’m so glad we got over that idea, spent the money and hired Encore. Our DJ, Rich Post, read the room and gave us everything we wanted! He mixed tracks together perfectly and we had the most amazing wedding! I had no idea that dj-ing music was such an art. Rich Post and Encore are worth every penny and they helped give us the most fun dance floor and perfect wedding celebration! So thankful for them as professionals and for going above and beyond for us.

Our guests were able to text themselves their pictures as soon as they were taken, and all of the photos that were taken were saved in a virtual album that we had access to after the wedding. 100% would recommend using Encore for your wedding if you want to have the best time!

The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests told us how incredible the music was. Mickey also helped us make decisions when we felt stuck and gave honest, helpful opinions that made the whole process easier. If we had to choose a DJ again, we’d pick Mickey over and over without hesitation!

Our first day was an Indian Sangeet that included a Baraat and their team went above and beyond to use a mobile DJ station to get the party started. They worked with us to include music spanning multiple cultures and Mikey and Andre were superb. On our second day it was a more traditional American ceremony and Mikey was back with Jordan. Despite a night of partying the day prior, they kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor all night! Many of our guests have told us since how much fun our DJ crew was! Jordan also helped us to set up photo booths for both days which was a lot of fun for us and our guests. We would highly recommend Encore and hope to party with them again in the future! For the videography the team offered a lot of flexibility on options, and captured our weekend alongside our photographer seamlessly.

Everyone got out on the dance floor to tear it up - even my four year old nephew was attempting to breakdance. yn was timely with communicating deadlines, add on options and how to navigate the planning website. The planning website was very easy to use and really helped us establish our timeline early in the process. It was helpful to see the timeline laid out and be able to move things arounds to our liking. We also purchased uplighting and photobooth packages from Encore. The uplighting is an absolute must to elevate any venue's space and they changed the colors throughout the night as we transitioned through our timeline (soft colors for cocktail hour/dinner and bright colors for dancing). We opted for the self-service photo booth that allowed guests to text themselves the photos. A week after the wedding we also got access to the photobooth library and absolutely love being able to see how much fun our guests had with it! Austen was great to work with for our event. We had one meeting with him prior to the wedding and he was able to execute our vision for the dance floor perfectly. On the day of the wedding, I noticed he had arrived earlier to set up than he had mentioned just to be prepared with training a new employee. His style is totally not what you think of when you envision a traditional wedding DJ and he absolutely lit up the dance floor right from the start. Starting from cocktail hour, he was able to read the crowd to come up with the perfect playlist that made everyone stop at one point to acknowledge it was on point.

out hesitation we knew that we would also be using Encore Events for ours, as the company goes above and beyond and truly offers much more than just the DJ/Entertainment services they provide. We cannot say enough good things about the company as a whole but specifically the DJ that we chose, Jordan and her husband/assistant Ted. They worked closely with us to plan every last detail in the months leading up to our wedding and made sure all our needs were met. They brought our vision to life and were so helpful throughout the entire process. I had so many compliments on how everything turned out but guests specifically mentioned how amazing our DJ was and how much they loved the lighting and music. We added some extras including cold sparklers, and a photo booth that were well worth it and turned out to be such a hit for all of our guests. We would highly recommend booking Encore Events for your wedding or any upcoming event, especially Jordan (and Ted) because they are THE best and will definitely exceed all expectations you have for a DJ!!

It was beautiful. Encore is very helpful and attentive. They are wonderful to work with. I have also been to other weddings with other Encore DJs and they are all amazing. I would highly recommend hiring them for your wedding and getting the cold sparklers! So cool! Thank you John and the Encore team!

The world’s kindest soul, always smiling and loves what she does. She is an industry goddess and when I told her I wanted a mash up of two songs for our entrance, she said say no more and my girl killed it. I never had a doubt that our dance floor wouldn’t be packed all night and Jordan made sure of it. We still hear from guests that Jordan was the BEST DJ and we agree. Encore doesn’t allow you to have typical wedding music, hell I don’t think they even want it. The way they can create a night club scene but also get even the oldest of guests dancing, is truly elite. Hire Encore, I promise you will NOT regret it. ick from a wide variety of DJs, and my wife and I went with who we thought was the best at mixing songs (no offense to the other DJs), which was Mickey Hamilton. Through out the whole planning process, Mickey helped us plan and choose songs for our wedding, gave us advice and recommendation on how to use the online portal which you interact with in preparation for your wedding, and was always quick in response to any question we had. The planning process was personally so much fun for me to pick out the music I wanted at our wedding. We met a few times on zoom before the wedding as well, and had everything ready for our wedding day. All this helped me on my wedding day, as I didn’t have to stress or worry about if something wasn’t right or if the DJ was prepared or not. I couldn’t stress enough the professionalism at Encore Events. As for the performance, it was 10/10. All my friends and family had a wonderful time and even asked me if they could get the setlist of the music. This led me to asking Mickey if he could do this for me, and he made me a list of all the songs he played, going beyond what he had to do for us. I am so happy with our choice, choosing Mickey as our DJ. My dad told me that having the the right DJ can either make or break a wedding, and we are so happy we went with Encore Event because we wouldn’t of wanted any other DJ on our special day. I don’t think it could of gone any better.

Their portal makes creating your music preferences so easy and you know they will remember all the important details. From the first aisle songs, to all the entrances, and the last dances, Rich made our wedding the party we always wished for! We also added uplighting which made a huge difference in the overall ambiance of the venue. We can’t recommend and thank Encore (especially Rich) enough for making such a great impact on our wedding day!
