Stephanie was the absolute best. Everyone was dancing ALL night long. She was so helpful with heloing us use the planning portal, letting everyone know about the bridal party entrances and the parent's dance/first dance. We could not have asked for a better person to make our day unforgettable. 15/10 would recommend Encore Events and Stephanie!

Encore Events was super helpful from the moment we reached out and booked them to DJ our wedding. Communication was a 10/10 from the moment we booked to the day of our wedding. Kendrick was amazing on our wedding day! He always checked in to made sure we were happy and knew what was going on, played our requests, and switched up when we had something specific we wanted to play. He really helped to make our day stress free, and have an amazing night!

We are so happy with Encore Event's services. The team made planning so easy and were very communicative. Jack was great the day of. We heard so many times from our guests how great the music was, and how he kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night!

I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing Encore Events is. We didn’t even look elsewhere because they are in house with around arbor midtown so we knew they were the only choice and really only one anyone should consider! We chose Rich and let me say, he hands down brought the party! Our dance floor was packed the whole time and music selection was amazing. Rich and his crew can read the crowd and really can get everyone going. Aside from the amazing work, Rich really cares about his clients. He listed to what we like to the point he even wore purple since it’s my favorite color! He lets his clients even interact with the DJ equipment which was so fun! He checked in before, during and after the wedding. That service is just top-notch! We added on additional lighting as well at 4 cold sparklers which truly was money will spent. People are still talking about the dancing the night away and the cold sparklers even months after the wedding!! They reviews we are still getting just shows that with an amazing DJ, your wedding will be so memorable. Do yourself the favor and book Encore!! We booked Jordan for our wedding and she was an absolutely amazing person to work with! We had a few meetings leading up to the wedding and she helped us with our schedule. We had amazing vendors but she was easily the most helpful and responsive vendor we had! Her energy day of was amazing and contagious! We received so many compliments about our DJ from various people. Truly the best decision we made for our wedding!

Encore was awesome to work with. Not only did our DJ Mikey V and the videography team kill it on the day, but all the planning and communication leading up to the big day was just awesome. From the day we contacted them, to joining the team a virtual open house to listen to some of the djs do sets, the planning sessions and portal, everything was just a great experience and we really apprecaite their professionalism as well as the great artistic abilities of their DJ and videography teams. The first time we met with Encore we knew that we were dealing with a very professional company that wants to make sure our day is everything we want it to be. We were totally impressed and hired them immediately. The process was easy and we ended up booking Kendrick for our wedding. The months and weeks before our wedding was filled with great meetings and they made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions. Lets talk about Kendrick. He was amazing!!!! He was friendly, helpful and took all our suggestions and made them happen!!! The entire night he checked on us asking if we were happy or if we needed anything. The music was amazing and kept everyone on the dance floor until 11p. We had so many of our guests come up to me and tell me how great he was. My husband and I could not have been more happy with what he brought to our wedding. Thank you Kendrick and Encore for making our night so much fun and memorable. I highly recommend this company for any wedding!!!!

Could not have asked for a better DJ. Going into wedding planning hiring a quality DJ was one of the most important things for us. We did not live in the Rochester area and did a lot of research for DJs in the area. We ended up choosing Encore because they were very easy to communicate with, had great reviews and we were able to actually see video of the DJs on their website. We had Kendrick as our DJ and we were very impressed! I can not even express how professional and easy to work with he was. From planning before the wedding to consistently checking in on the day of, he exceeded our expectations! He helped make every moment of our wedding memorable and went above and beyond what we anticipated. Kendrick helped not only make sure our ceremony was smooth but also had the dance floor busy all night. We are still getting comments from our guest (2 months later) about how amazing it was! Encore also offers plenty of other services. We had Cold Sparklers and a Flower Wall from them as well. Both were absolutely gorgeous and so convenient to have provided all by one vendor, not to mention that Encore did all the set up and tear down as well! Overall, we 100% recommend Encore (and Kendrick specifically!). We could not imagine having any other DJ.

Planning with Encore was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Rich and his entire team are the most professional, organized and fun group of people to work with. They were extremely helpful, attentive and creative. My husband and I loved having meetings with Rich to discuss our wedding day and putting our dreams into real life. Come the day of, Encore arrived early and were more than prepared. The staff was even asking if we needed anything well before the ceremony and while we were taking pictures. Rich is a long time friend and treated us like royalty! My husband and I remember the small details like him pulling out our chairs to sit down, laying out our napkins, getting us drinks from the bar, etc. on top of keeping the day on schedule and keeping our guests entertained. We did not leave the dance floor… maybe once for a restroom break! Our family and friends continue to talk about our wedding almost a month later and always mention how awesome our DJ was! We agree! Although I am relieved to be free of wedding planning, I wish we could plan another day with Encore! Xoxo

My husband and I used Encore Events for our wedding and have nothing but great things to say about them! We really appreciated that they do open houses where you can listen to each DJs style and choose one that you really like. Music at weddings can really make or break the day! We loved our experience with every team member at Encore. They are all very knowledgeable and kind and make sure that they bring your vision to life. We ended up choosing Mikey V for our DJ! He is very good at reading the room and keeping the energy up. He did amazing! Definitely would recommend Encore to anyone looking for a DJ!

We had such a wonderful experience with Encore Events. Everything from the booking to the planning to the actual wedding was truly amazing. Our DJ was Jordan and she was incredible! We met with her ahead of time to review the timeline, the songs we wanted for the planned portions of our wedding (walking down the aisle, reception entrance, first dance, etc) and she truly listened and understood exactly what we wanted. Jordan brings ALLLLLL the energy and everything from her vibe to her music was absolutely fire. We had an absolute blast and know that our wedding would not have been the same without her and Encore! I’d hire them again in an instant!

I cannot say enough good things about Encore Events for DJ wedding service. Mikey V. was PHENOMENAL. He kept the dance floor going all night and our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Mikey was great at reading the crowd and knew just what music to play based on what the guests were showing. Prior to our wedding day, Mikey (and the whole Encore team) were communicative, professional, and so helpful with any questions we had. I HIGHLY recommend Encore Events for your wedding.

We absolutely loved working with DJ Mickey, and the entire crew at Encore Events! The services we received were DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception (with all of the equipment included for the ceremony), cold sparklers, photobooth with flower wall, and cinematography. The whole team was attentive, with check in via email to make sure we had all the information we needed going forward. We had virtual meetings to tell our DJ what we wanted, what we prioritized, and the music preferences of our families. Mickey has a lot of experience and was able to make sure everyone had a good time from beginning to end. He even checked in with us during the wedding to make sure our needs were met. 10/10 Our photobooth was a hit! People loved the custom boarder and having them as an additional souvenir from the event! There was a props table that the guests loved and we have access to all of the digital photos after the wedding, so we are able to send them to people who want more copies! Josh, our cinematographer was amazing! He worked well with our photographer, and was able to direct us throughout the day to tell us what he wanted to see and what would look best on camera! We haven't gotten our video back yet, but I am so excited to see it. Most of all, we are so excited to be invited to VIP events in the future! We've gone to two already since booking, and we have had an amazing time every time! All in All we loved Enore and their whole team!

John Roach of Encore Events was our DJ at our wedding in September 2024, and working with him was great. Before our wedding, we attended online “open houses” where we could see the style of their DJ’s and find the best one to match us. The Encore team is dedicated to making sure you have a memorable and fun day! On the wedding day, John and his assistant, provided music from ceremony to cocktail hour to the dance-floor. If you hire Encore, you are guaranteed to spend the night dancing away!

Encore Events is a unique business with many DJs with different styles to choose from, based on what you’re looking for on your wedding day. The “viewing parties” were a cool option allowing you to hear each DJ and get an idea of their services. They also have add-on services like videography and lighting (though we didn’t make use of these for our event). The planning portal was a convenient way to keep track of all the details as well as song selections (must play, do not play, etc). It also contained a tool to search for artists and songs for the reception and ceremony by, for example, decade or popularity, which was very helpful. We chose Stephanie Hyde as our DJ, and she was a total pleasure to work with - she’s a very fun person to be around and she did amazing with the song selections and ensuring special requests were done at the right moments. The ceremony, intros, dances, and reception music sounded great and the run-of-show was smooth and flawless. Would highly recommend!

Encore was amazing to work with! Professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to be helpful and ensure our day was exactly as we wanted. Robert was excellent as a DJ and everyone loved the music and dancing! In the days leading up to our wedding Robert checked in several times to help us iron out details we even missed! I can’t recommend Encore enough!

I hired Encore Events for our son’s wedding and they were extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Very professional and responded to my emails quickly. Our DJ was Ray Tiano who did an amazing job! He knew how to keep the crowd dancing until the very end!! He loves what he does and it shows through his work. I would definitely hire them again!!

Everyone that we came in contact with and worked with along the way was absolutely phenomenal! They show the upmost professionalism and dedication to their work. Jordan kept our dance floor packed until the very last minute. She hyped our guests starting with wedding party announcements until our last song. Everything went so smoothly and to perfection! Each song that we handpicked was played and she totally got our vibe perfect for the rest of the night thanks to the virtual meetings and their online portal. Payments were handled honestly and there was never any surprise in that regard! It has been 1 month since our wedding day and we still have guests reaching out saying the DJ was the highlight of the night “when are you two getting married again because that was epic”! Encore will always be our #1 recommended vendor and I can only hope to work with them again in the future

Worth every penny and then some. Savanah made our night, the party kept going, and we kept dancing. She really customized the music to our personal style. She was such an incredible MC and hype woman. Her and her support team was even helping direct our guests into the parking lot. Nothing but amazing things to say. Looking for another large event to host so she can SHINE!

Encore was truly amazing! Jack was out DJ and he felt more like a friend then anything else! He checked on my husband and I all night making sure everything was going okay. And even offered to grab drinks for us! The Photo Booth was a huge hit as well. So fun and easy to use! Couldn’t recommend Encore more!

If you are looking to work with the best DJ's in Rochester for your wedding day - look no further! Having Encore & DJ Mickey Hamilton on our wedding day was by far one of the best decisions we made. They made the entire process so easy & seamless from start to finish. Encore has their own portal where you can lay out your timeline, choose all of your music that you want played the day of, and plan out every last detail when it comes to music on your wedding day - it was so user friendly and made the entire process stress free. They are also a one-stop shop, offering other services besides DJ's - we used them for their photo booth services as well, and that process was also so easy!  I did not have to worry about coordinating any times or set up with our venue, they did all of that! They were available for any & all questions that I had along the way, and Mickey made sure to meet with us a few weeks before our wedding day to meet us, get our vibe with what kind of music we wanted, and made sure no detail was forgotten. Saying that Mickey was incredible is an absolute understatement - we STILL have guests talking about how amazing he was and how awesome his music was! The dance floor was packed all night, he is so incredibly talented & made our wedding day exactly as we dreamed it would be! I could not recommend Encore & DJ Mickey enough!! 

I used encore for my DJ and videographer for my wedding on August 10, 2024 and they were amazing!! My DJ John and his partner We’re an absolute blast and kept party going all night! From the planning process to the actual wedding, I felt very informed and prepared and had multiple meetings with encore and even a few meetings with John a few weeks before our wedding to settle final details. I’m the type of person that is crazy about the little things and before my wedding, I felt really anxious because I wanted everything to be perfect. John was able to nail our vision and helped us through the entire thing and put my worries to rest! Would definitely recommend Encore they were a 10/10!!!!

Encore Events made my wedding a breeze. Very communicative and helpful with the the planning process as well. We ended up adding a floral wall and photobooth as well! Mickey was our DJ and the moment I spoke with him during our zoom meeting leading up to the wedding I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Music was great and they even let you make a playlist of songs if you like, along with a do not play list. I cant recommend this company enough. Cannot say enough good things about Encore! We had Andre and Stephanie as our DJs and also used their Photo Booth, all of the staff from the very beginning of the wedding planning processes to the end of the night were incredible. Their communication and organization is unmatched. You get to listen to sample sets from various DJs and choose who best fits your style. Their online planning portal helps you plan your music choices but also your timeline for the whole wedding. Our DJs checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were happy and had the dance floor going the whole night, they played something for everyone and set the tine for a fun and carefree night.

I think I’d max out characters if I could… from the very first meeting to the last, the attention to detail on everything was noticed. We used Rich for our DJ and OMG was he unreal!!! He coordinated everything perfectly. Being a DJ isn’t just playing music - his mixes were so good, my husband tried to find them on his Spotify because he wants to listen daily LOL. He played the songs that were must plays and transitioned them so well and everyone was on the dance floor all night. He checked in with me at the end of the night asking if I had any final song requests. As an em-cee he was UNREAL. All 182 guests complimented us and said he was the best. We even had people who are “anti-DJ” and pro band say that he changed their minds fully. We also used Encore for a photo booth and that was seamless as well as up lighting (worth the extra cost) Overall, if I had to get married 50x over, I’d use Encore for everything again

Music is critical to throwing the best party. DJ Rich Post and Encore Events delivered that. They have so many resources to help you decide on a specific DJ, plan all your music, plan your ceremony and reception, and ensure it's everything you want it to be. We met with Rich within a month of the wedding via zoom and he has great energy - you can tell he gets into it! I was able to share some of the Spotify playlists I created and Rich pulled right from those. Everything went so smoothly - the dance floor was poppin’ and people had a great time.

Shane and the Encore team were incredible from the beginning! Shane went above and beyond, even helping find the perfect song to walk down the aisle to! Throughout the night, Shane checked in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. I cannot recommend Encore enough!

We highly recommend John and Encore Events for your wedding DJing needs. The experience they provided from the moment we signed with them, through the planning process and on the wedding day was AMAZING! The portal made it easy to give us song options, they walked us through important things to think of to make the day magical and the most important thing is they rocked it on the dance floor. I did not want to leave the whole night, the moment I would walk away to greet someone another banger would come on and I would go running back to the dance floor. We have heard from all our guests how it was the wedding of a lifetime and much of it is due to the hard work put on by John. I cannot recommend them enough!

You can't go wrong with a DJ from Encore! I originally looked into this company because of all the 5 star reviews and now I know why! They give numerous chances to hear all of the different djs from online live events to the VIP events to find one that matches your style and vibe. We ended up going with Andre for our wedding and he was amazing! With all our song requests he was able to create an amazing dance floor all night covering numerous genres and I never wanted to leave! For our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner our selections were played seamlessly and he filled in the gaps with perfect choices to create the perfect mood. Prior to the start of our ceremony the plan was a little up in the air due to one of the bridesmaids being ill, Andre had both plans for music ready to go so we could make last minute decisions and made it so stress free! We received a ton of compliments on our dance floor, Andres' awesome energy, and even on how great the cocktail hour tunes were! We also rented our photobooth from Encore which was a huge hit and Jordan was amazing to work with to design the layout/design. Andre was an awesome all around DJ and MC for the night and I would 100% recommend him or any of the other DJs at Encore! Can't wait to attend another VIP event now as an alumni!

A few things to note…the DJ played our ceremony exit song before our officiant had finished the ceremony and then cut off the mic so the officiant couldn’t finish. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was definitely annoying because it interrupted the ceremony when the officiant had already reviewed when to play the exit song. Other issues were that we specifically asked that he didn’t "over announce" things, but he promoted himself on Instagram before our reception entrances and then cut off our first dance song by yelling, "LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE NEW MR AND MRS." We also filled out the portal with songs we wanted to hear and made playlists that we sent to him so he could get to know us. Nowhere did we ever put country songs, and yet during the reception, he played so much country music. To the point where one of our friends had to ask him repeatedly to stop. In our planning meeting, he said, "Yeah, I'm not going to look at any of this until the week of the wedding," which is fine, I guess, but don’t say that. It felt like he didn’t look until the day of the wedding. Overall, I wouldn’t book him again or recommend them to other friends who are getting married. I know others have had an amazing experience, but we didn’t have that.

Could not recommend Encore more if you’re looking for a wedding DJ. They were great to work with throughout and were a huge help in mapping out the timing of all the events on our big day. They were highly professional throughout and have a lot of great tools to help with your wedding day ranging from planning out the reception, picking what songs you want (and don’t want) to hear and more. Our DJ was Shane and he was a pleasure to work with. Everything went off without a hitch and they were nice enough to even extend beyond the scheduled time we had with them. Shane and his team did a great job keeping the reception on track and the dance floor busy all night. They were great at managing guest requests and incredibly accommodating of last minute changes/requests we had. If you don’t want to have to worry about a thing when it comes to your special day I would definitely recommend Encore!

Encore Events is truly the DJ and Events leader in the region. As my wife and I were looking to find our DJ for our wedding in November 2023 we were nervous as we weren't familiar with the process of how to search and select one while we lived afar in Washington, DC for our wedding in Rochester, NY. Encore's virtual open house events were a gift to say the least. After the first one we definitely knew who we wanted to choose (more on DJ Jordan soon!) and by our second open house we simply wanted to listen to and enjoy the mixes by several different DJs! From the beginning until the end, we felt that Encore and our DJ, Jordan, explained everything thoroughly and clearly. From their user friendly online portal that allows you to choose do not play, would be nice, and must play songs to also providing information on their additional services like their cold sparklers, which we opted in for later down the road. Now our DJ, the absolute heaven-sent Jordan Rakiewicz, is not only a master spinner, but understood both my wife and I's musical tastes with accuracy, precision and care. From just a few conversations that we had with Jordan she proved to be JUST AS excited as we were. How much more can you ask for when a vendor is clearly there for you not only professionally, but personally building a connection with us that only enhanced our entire wedding experience. The recognition for Jordan reverberates to this day from beyond my wife and I and throughout our entire wedding where she proved to be the ultimate hype-woman - getting our guests prepped and primed to receive us newlyweds and leading the dance floor with effortless ease. Not only that, Jordan broke down what to expect with our huge 20 person wedding party and provided crystal-clear directions to our guests with her MC finesse as the night continued on until the last minute. Thank you to Encore and huge thank you toJordan for keeping the high energy, flawless people-orchestration, and allowing us to reminisce on the favorite day of our lives with deep affection. We continue to hear from our family and friends how we wish we could build a time machine and go back. Much love to Encore and Jordan!

We picked Encore for our music because a longtime friend was one of their DJs. Unfortunately, the DJ tested positive for COVID-19 the day before our wedding and was unable to work the event. Encore worked swiftly and had a replacement team ready almost immediately. While the situation was not ideal, we credit the staff at Encore for not missing a beat and providing an excellent DJ service despite the last-minute obstacle. The leadership staff was also excellent with communication -- on the rare instance we had a question about something, someone was in touch within minutes (not an exaggeration) whether it be email or phone. Would definitely recommend Encore for your DJ services (we also used their photo booth, which our guests really enjoyed).

Encore was phenomenal! Easy to work with and they provide a ton of options for additional entertainment. Our DJ Mickey Hamilton and Jack Laino were awesome and very helpful during our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly!

Mikey was AMAZING! Helped everything to run soooo smoothly, was sooo kind and checked in on us multiple times . Wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for our day! Really kept the party going!!! 10/10 would recommend
