Kathy is so amazing and really goes above and beyond to please her brides! Her and all the staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. In my opinion, it was much more genuine, personable, and calm than my experience at David’s Bridal. I really appreciated how they didn’t make me feel like I was just another bride, they made me feel special! I fell in love with a lace wedding dress that didn’t have a matching veil. Kathy ordered the lace appliqués from the dress designer and let my mom and I make my own custom veil in-store to match my dress! It was so special and so kind of Kathy to do when she could’ve just tried to sell me a different veil. Vivian did my alterations and was absolutely wonderful! I am so grateful that they were so sweet and helpful, and I would recommend Encore to anyone getting married or going to prom, etc. They are the best!

When my son became engaged in 2022, the bride's mom and I decided we would have found our MOB and MOG dresses by May 2023 and while she found her's, I wasn't so lucky. I had a vision in my head of what I wanted to look like on my son's special day, but couldn't articulate in words. I went to all the big box stores, nothing that said "take me home" and at most bridal shops, you needed an appointment. When I called Encore Formals and Bridal, the voice on the other line was inviting and welcoming. I didn't need an "appt" to come into her shop. On the day I met Ms. Kathy, it felt as if I had known her all my life. I showed her the picture of the prospective dress and low and behold she had it in black, I needed a color in the purple family. The moment I put on the dress, I knew I had finally found my dress. Ms. Kathy went to work on finding my dress in the color I needed for the wedding. She reached out to all her contacts and searched high and low and found the dress in San Francisco. There was a problem with shipping and the dress was not delivered until almost end of Aug. With alterations needing to be done, I felt a little stressed if it would be ready for Oct 6th wedding. Again Ms. Kathy put on her super woman cape and along with the best seamstress in the world, the dress was ready on Sept 23rd. It was a very happy day! I said all of that to say, if you want an experience of a lifetime, if you want to be surrounded by people who love what they do and love the business they have chosen, if you want someone to go to bat for you to ensure your visions become reality, then Encore Formals and Bridal, Ms. Kathy and her team are THE BEST HANDS DOWN. YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T SHOP HERE FIRST. Words can't express what I felt when my son said "Mom, you are beautiful" on his special day. Encore Formal and Bridal was such a joy to work with! Kathy ensured that every step of the process was easy and so much fun! The dresses available were reasonably priced and there was a wide selection that helped me be certain of what I liked and didn't like in a dress! I left the day with my dream dress and a wonderful memory that I will cherish forever. Kathy also had wonderful resources for alterations and other vendors that might be needed upon receiving the dress. The entire experience was perfect and I would highly encourage anyone to use Encore Formals and Bridal for any dress needs.

Encore Formals was honestly the best experience ever! When I walked in I didn't really know what to expect because the first bridal store I went to that morning really missed the mark and the owner was very rude. Kathy at Encore Formals 100% made up for that by being the sweetest and most genuine person. Even though she was really busy she still made me feel as if I was the only bride in her store. I appreciated her honesty and helping me find the dress of my dreams even though I waited until the last minute to go shopping for one. I love the fact that she has a huge selection of dresses but is still able to provide a small intimate atmosphere for clients. So brides and future brides, this is definitely the best place to get your dress!!

I went through a fair share of bridal stores before I finally found Encore. It was the first place where I tried on a dress that I felt could truly stand the test of time. Kathy made us feel so welcome and special from the moment we walked in the door through our alterations appointments. I absolutely loved my dress and my experience with Encore.

I loved my experience getting my wedding dress from Encore Formal and Bridal! The staff was so kind and helpful when picking out and trying on dresses. I ended up falling in love with a bridesmaids dress and they were able to order in ivory. From the time that I ordered the dress to the time I picked it up, they were amazing about communication through phone calls and text message updates. They were amazing to work with and I would love buying from them again. It's a great bridal shop for brides on any budget! 10/10!

Shopping at Encore bridal was the BEST experience! Mrs. Kathy and the staff are the sweetest people. I truly felt cared for, never felt pressured at all, and knew that I was supported with whatever choice I made. I purchased my dress from Encore just last week. It was the third dress shop I had gone to so I knew the style I wanted when I entered the store. Kathy was absolutely incredible and so helpful in helping us pick out gowns. She had me try on her favorite first which ended up being the one! Although every dress I tried on, she made me feel the most beautiful bride. I am so glad that I found my dress at Encore and would recommend them to anyone!

I just purchased my dress from Encore for my wedding in June 2022. Kathy is the owner and wonderful consultant. I had picked out quite a few gowns on my own to try, but she pulled more for me as I let her know what I liked and disliked. Her instincts were on point and I found the perfect dress! The selection of dresses was vast and beautiful and I think it would be difficult to walk out without the dress of your dreams.

I absolutely loved this store!!! Kathy was so much fun and really made you get out of your head and try things I would have never tried on at the other stores!!! I had my mind set on the type of gown I wanted and thought why not to the polar opposite of a dress and absolutely fell in love with it, it literally brought my mom and I to tears!!! I highly recommend going here to find your dress!!

I have absolutely loved my experience with Encore so far. I went to two shops before them and they were by far my favorite. The dresses were unique and affordable. I got my dress there, all my bridesmaids (one of the only places left to try on bridesmaids), will probably do my tuxes and alterations there as well. I let each of my bridesmaids pick out their dress so it was nice that they could shop and try so many on. The store was also so clean and the staff are amazing. It’s so nice to have a one stop shop for everything. They also sell MOB and prom dresses. I highly recommend them for your next event. I can’t wait for my dress to come in.

-Clean & quiet environment -Polite & attentive mannerisms I enjoyed my appointment with this boutique, as soon as I walked in, I was checked in for my appointment, offered some cold water, and allowed to scan the selection for what I like. Kathy was so amazing at picking up on my style and helping me in and out of all the dresses. At the end of the appointment, I was (still am) elated to announce that I said "Yes!" to a dress!!

After several bridal appointments at other dress shops, I was hesitant making another appointment at a different shop and I'm so glad I booked an appointment at Encore! My future Mother-in-Law highly recommended Encore to me, and I can see why because the owner Kathy just blew it out the water! She got me excited to try on dresses, didn't give me a dress cap of how many I could try on and even helped me bring my wedding vision to life. I couldn't be happier to of ordered my dream dress with her! She made such an impression on me, that I refuse to get my bridesmaid dresses anywhere else but with her! Thank you Kathy!

Amazing experience! Kathy is so kind and strikes the perfect balance of making sure you have agency in picking a gown while also helping you find the dress that makes you feel beautiful. I was able to get a customized Casablanca gown and two weeks later I came back shopping with my best friend for her wedding dress and Kathy helped her devise a gorgeous dress for her big day as well. I cannot recommend Encore enough!

I have had the best experience with Encore. When I first came to try on wedding dresses, Kathy remembered me from when I came in to try on prom dresses years and years ago! I tried on dresses on a very busy Saturday, and Kathy made me feel like I was the only bride in there. I never felt pressured to purchase or try on anything that I wasn't comfortable with. I found my dream dress that day! It arrived before it was expected to, which was such a great surprise. I also had an alterations appointment scheduled, but changed my appointment last minute because we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19. I texted Kathy to let her know that I needed to reschedule my appointment, and she was so accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about Kathy and my experience at Encore. I can't wait to wear my dress in September!

I had just recently got engaged and wanted to go shopping with my mother and father. We walked in with a very particular dress I have been looking at online for what it feels like ages! Kathy was so incredible pulling that dress and a variety so that I was completely sure! She took the time to talk about customizations that could be done to other dresses, looking at different veils and thinking about the venue. She made me and my family so calm and taken care of! She is incredibly kind and thoughtful! Plus we walked out of there with my dream dress ordered! We will be soon purchasing ALL of our bridesmaids dresses there too! Kathy is amazing!

This is hands down the best bridal shop I went to during my search for a wedding dress. There is a wide variety of beautiful dresses and all at reasonable prices. Kathy did an incredible job of making my dress shopping experience personalized, exciting, and easy. She is beyond helpful, patient, and kind and makes you feel important and beautiful. I could not rave about this store and Kathy enough💕

Wedding dress shopping at Encore was an absolute dream. My mother and I knew as soon as we walked in the door and briefly talked with Kathy that this was the place we would be purchasing my dream dress. The atmosphere was very relaxed (and calming for this anxious bride), and it was such a personable experience. Kathy and Irma listened to exactly what I was looking for and made it happen... we nailed it on dress number three! These fabulous ladies eliminated all of the stress and made the dress shopping and alteration experience a blast. Five starts is just not enough for such a marvelous experience.

This was the first and final bridal shop my family and I went to. With Laurine’s help, I tried on about 10 dresses trying to find my best silhouette. 2 other stores later, we decided to go back to Encore that evening and have a second look. After being confident in what we were looking for now, we were warmly welcomed back even though they were closing in an hour. Only 3 more dresses later, I knew I had found my dress! Laurine and the other women at Encore made me and my family feel so special, taking pictures for us well after closing time. We truly felt like a priority, and that is something we didn’t feel at other well known bridal shops in Atlanta. I highly recommend for anyone to shop at Encore! Kathy and her staff are so genuine and deserving of your business.

Mrs. Kathy was amazing. She made me feel worry free and stress free. I came in with one dress in mind and she suggested I try on as many as I needed to. She had the exact dress I was looking for and we saved that for last and once I put the dress on...."she" knew that was my dress. Encore was the first shop I went to and I had an amazing experience. Loved every dress I put on and felt super encouraged and comfortable with Kathy. I figured since it was the first place I went I obviously would love it. I gave other shops a shot but I kept going back to the dress I loved the most at Encore. I ended up going with this dress and could not be happier. I am so excited to wear my beautiful dress on my big day. Kathy was so kind and not pushy at all. My experience at Encore was a dream. Kathy was the absolute best and sweetest soul to work with. She listened to everything that I said I wanted and didn't let me settle for less. I was so close to giving up shopping but she encouraged me to look around one more time. I did just that, and out of the final two dresses I found THE one. I am so thankful for this experience and all of the effort and love that Kathy put into it. She is very encouraging and makes you feel so comfortable. I would recommend that if you are looking for a dress, you go here first!!!

I walked in with no appointment and was helped by a wonderful woman named Kathy. Upon walking in, I showed Kathy pictures and said that I would like a high-low dress. I was informed that they could make me a dress a high-low. I tried on 3 dresses, found my dream dress and left feeling really happy.

After trying out five different bridal shops, I was happy to find that Encore blew them all out of the water! After a mixed bag of experiences at bridal shops, I started looking directly at designers’ websites to try and narrow down to the dress I wanted. I fell in love with one from Morilee, but after contacting several dress shops in and around Atlanta, was unable to find anyone who either had it or was willing to order a sample for me to try on—until I came across Kathy at Encore! She was endlessly positive and patient throughout the process of obtaining the sample from the designer and so encouraging once I met her in the store to try on dresses. She made me, my bridesmaid, and my mom all feel like family. I am so happy to have ordered my dress from Encore and could not recommend Kathy and her colleagues more! They are one of the few places that will go above and beyond for you.

Working with Kathy during my appointment was like having an instant big sister on my side. She was very attentive and gave me genuine compliments and encouragement while we were putting on the dress I ended up buying, which really helped me feel confident enough to wear this gorgeous dress that I never thought I deserved to have. She handled the walk ins that came in during my appointment like a pro and never made me feel like I wasn't important. Irma, the seamstress, came out and spent a good 15 minutes answering my questions and concerns about altering the dress and was very honest and knowledgeable about what needed to be done, I have total confidence that everything will be done right. Encore had a lot of dresses like nothing I'd seen at other stores, which is why I love my dress so much, I would highly recommend coming here!

The ladies at Encore are as sweet and friendly as could be. I was thoroughly taken care of each time I came. The biggest shout out goes to Irma, the seamstress, who added lacy half-sleeves to my dress. It came out beautifully. I wish I could post a picture here. The sleeves look like they belong to the dress, and, I think, even enhance it. I received many compliments on this beautiful gown!

When I met Kathy at a bridal show, I KNEW I had to visit her bridal shop, because she was so kind and genuine. Encore Formals and Bridal is the only place you'll need to go when looking for your wedding dress. Kathy and her staff were just as genuine and helpful when I first met them. I was completely nervous trying on dresses because I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Kathy was extremely patient and helped me narrow down my likes and dislikes. I never felt rushed to make a decision on a dress either! Plus my wedding dress came in only 2 months after saying yes to the dress. I would highly recommend Kathy and her sweet staff to everyone! I couldn't be more happy with my experience :)

This was the first and only shop where I had to stop and look at wedding dresses because I found the most perfect dress for my backyard wedding. Kathy was so welcoming when we arrived! The shop was so nice and quiet and made the experience feel so much more personal, which was exactly what I was looking for!

I’m a rather indecisive person so I went to nine wedding dress boutiques before making my decision. Encore stood apart with their caring customer service and their beautiful dresses. The dresses are arranged in a magical manner and the area to try them on is beautiful. The ladies who work there, as well as the owner Kathy, all seemed to know exactly how to best help me. I’m so grateful for my experience at Encore!

There are a lot of decisions that go into planning a wedding, and the sweet ladies at Encore made finding a wedding gown my easiest (and most fun!) decision thus far! From the moment I walked in Courtney made a point to get to know me and what I wanted not only in a wedding gown, but my wedding dreams as a whole. She was kind and made getting a dress my favorite thing I've done so far in wedding planning! The ladies at Encore truly care about you as a person and offer incredible gowns at amazing prices! Trust me, this is the place you want to go to find your perfect gown!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Courtney helped me find the absolutely perfect dress! She was very sweet and helpful and found the exact dress I had in mind when I came in. The Salon was beautiful and Courtney and Kathy were so very nice! I will tell everyone to go see them!
