I felt we got a wonderful reception for the price we paid. The day went really smoothly, without any "bumps" in the road. The day itself was excellent here.
My only complaint was ...
the contact person who was in charge of the receptions was hard to get ahold of and didn't respond to emails very promptly. This made the days leading up to the wedding very stressful. I felt like I had to keep contacting her to make sure everything was in place.

This golf course went through some major staff changes in between the time we started planning and our actual wedding. No one told us the wedding coordinator left, I just happened...
to find out about 2 months before our wedding. We had also rented the guest house, which was fun and I recommend! However, no golf carts were there as promised to get us down to the club for our ceremony, we had to call about 20 minutes prior to run them up. They were flexible in allowing us to place our own wine on tables, but that was because they have to close the bar during dinner if you have your ceremony and cocktail hour outside, otherwise it is $400 for an extra bar tender that hour. Lastly, I was told by a few family members that they ran out of some of the food on the buffet! I want a refund for those people's plates! The reception room is nice, the prices are decent, but you truly get the bar minimum of effort. Fortunately the new coordinator who did take over was nice and communicative- her name was Sarah.
