Jason is truly THE BEST in the business!! We booked him for our wedding knowing that he was good, but he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I’m not exaggerating when I say everyone who has complimented our wedding has commented on how AMAZING he was and how fun the party was because of him! His fun energy even had non-dancers tearing up the dance floor all night and loving it!! After finding out one of our guests had recently gotten married, Jason made sure to play their first dance song for them. He customized the party to the guests and made it fun for everyone. We especially knew every penny that we spent was worth it, when Jason posted a reel of the first look with my dad and our first look as husband and wife. We weren’t able to get a videographer, but this video was everything we could’ve ever wanted and just another example of how Jason is more than just a DJ. Thank you Jason and EEG!! The Livingstons🤍

Jason with Energy Event Group was the absolute best entertainer for our big day! He was so easy to work with from the planning, all the way to wedding day! He made us feel so completely as ease during the planning and kept in touch with us. The ideas he gave us made our day go even better, and we would have never thought of them without his help. Our ceremony went so smoothly from the music to the transitions in between songs, Jason nailed it! Our dance was absolutely unforgettable. The energy was so HIGH all night long and we received so many compliments about Jason. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I cannot express enough how AMAZING Jason was to work with. The way he worked with us and adapted to how we wanted our reception was spectacular. He answered all of our questions along the way. He kept the night moving smoothly. He accommodated to additional speeches during our reception that were last minute. He kept everyone on the dance floor moving, song selection was on point, never a dull moment with Jason. We’ve had so many compliments even a week after our reception about how amazing Jason was! We could not have had the best night without Jason there that is for sure. WOW! That is what comes to my mind when I look back on our day with Energy Event Group there to help us celebrate. Darnell Pitts was our DJ and he did an amazing job keeping the party going and making sure that everyone was having fun. From the first dance to the last dance of the night our dance floor was lively. Darnell also made us feel like family and definitely kept our wedding party hyped up going into the reception. Jason Yoshino is an exeptional DJ. He kept the night fun and exciting. Got everyone out on the dance floor multiple times! Lots of compliments on how fun and smooth he made the day go. With Jason as your wedding DJ, this will not be the case. You will book Jason as your DJ and he will become way more than just your wedding DJ, he will become a friend. He will call and text to meet with you and your spouse to get to know you better. He will sit with you on many calls and listen to what you truly want for your big day. As a full time graduate student and my (now) husband owning his own business, the wedding planning process was stressful due to time constraints. We relied on hiring professional, reputable and organized vendors for our wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of Jason at Energy Event Group. The wedding day was a smooth sailing process because of his expertise and experience. School prevented me from giving Jason a detailed list of everything on my mind. Jason took my ideas and created the best of my husband and I's lives. He has a great reputation with a lot of local venues, caters and photographers so you can trust he will work seamlessly with your other vendors. Jason was easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and professional (and very fun). We got so many compliments at the wedding about his amazing work. Jason ensure smooth sailing from the moment the guests arrived at the ceremony to the final song. I had a specific request to have "Mr. Brightside" be a special, hype moment and he made it happen - it will be a moment I'll never forget. I am still blown away at how incredible he was and cannot recommend him enough. No need to look at other DJ's because Jason is your guy.

Where should we begin! We have known Jason at EEG for quite some time now. He has also done previous weddings in our family as well! We had the pleasure of having Jason himself at our wedding and he EXCEEDED expectations! From the flawless setup, excellent lighting and working with an outside venue for the ceremony in May can always be questionable, but we had a beautiful day! When you hire EEG you’re not just getting a DJ you are getting an EXPERIENCE. Start to finish a well thought out production provided by these wedding professionals. If you have a DJ booked, pay the cancellation fee, or change your date to HIRE THESE GUYS! Five stars is not enough

Wow! Jason Yashino with Energy Events Group rocked the house at our wedding. I have previously worked in the bridal industry and have heard nothing but GREAT things about EEG. It was a no-brainer I wanted them for our wedding. We booked Jason in July for our May 2023 wedding. He checked in multiple times throughout those nine months. I would easily say he was the most "hands-on" vendor we had. On the day of he arrived early to set up and check in with us. Later that night he kept the party going until closing time. It was genuinely the most fun I've had at a wedding but I might be a little biased. Jason was constantly capturing the fun and I love the playback on social media, especially since we didn't get a videographer. Thanks, Jason from EEG for being the perfect wedding DJ!

Jason was amazing to work with! When had a few hiccups with our venue and wedding party, Jason was so easy going and helpful! I honestly don’t think we could’ve found a better DJ! He made our day so fun and special!

We were able to communicate our wants and don’t wants when it came to music, games and timeline of the wedding day! Many people said it was a highlight of the night for them. It's a fun way to bring out the silly side in your guests while also making memories and giving them something to take home to remember from the night. I would rate my entire experience with Jason and EEG an 11 out of 10! Very satisfied!

EEG went above and beyond for our wedding celebration! It started with all the planning beforehand. Jason was extremely professional and the planning conversations helped everything run smoothly. He does such a great job of making sure his microphone is turned loud enough for the speeches and I’ve never experienced guests be so respectful of the speeches - a lot of this has to do with Jason’s demeanor. We worked with Jason on our BIG day and he was absolutely wonderful! Months and weeks before the wedding, he was in contact with us several times to go over all the details. With the wedding day being full of activity, he did a great job of taking over and leading without having to ask questions to us much. Between DJ & MC for our ceremony and reception, our guests enjoyed him as he kept the night moving along in a fun manner. We worked with Jason and we could not have been happier with our experience. My husband and I still look back and do not regret spending a little extra on having a good DJ. Jason was so helpful during the planning process and asked a lot of questions about logistics that I had not even thought about. His organization saved me a lot of time. The week of our wedding, COVID spiked and about half of our guests couldn't come. Jason was very flexible with us and understanding. Although we had less guests than we had hoped to celebrate with, he kept the party going. He had so many creative ways to keep the guests involved and entertained throughout our reception... and I didn't have to worry about anything! We had many guests comment on how fun our reception was, and I even had a friend who booked them for her wedding!

We had EEG & Darnell as the MC and DJ for our wedding 6/4/22. The meetings with Jason during the process helped create a timeline for all vendors involved which made the day go by effortlessly. Darnell was an amazing MC & DJ and our guests mentioned several times throughout the evening and the days after that our DJ was amazing. The photo booth was a huge hit and I cannot wait to see all the fun pictures that were taken as keepsakes from our special day!

My husband and I got married on 6/18/22 and used The Energy Event Group as the MC and DJ for our wedding day. We wanted to provide some pros and cons for future brides and grooms to consider when picking a DJ for your big day. Pros: The Energy Event Group certainly knows how to throw a party. We had a great time dancing during our reception. The Energy Event Group is known for glow sticks and the light up foam sticks that certainly add some great flare to your reception party. All guests from what we could tell had a great time dancing. Cons: At the end of the night when reflecting upon our day, we realized that quite a few reception pieces were missing that we requested. The Energy Event Group has a very extensive planning form that all couples must fill out prior to the wedding. Within this planning form we specified we wanted to play the wedding party scavenger hunt and shoe game and we wanted to do a garter auction and bouquet toss. Not one of these activities actually occurred. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the company and the company put blame on us as a couple since we went to go do evening photos, which is very typical for weddings. The DJ also mentioned that the timeline was moved up because the photographer and videographer had to leave based on contracted time. It is important to note we were running ahead of schedule after the ceremony going into dinner and I asked if we should start toasts before dinner to help move the timeline up. This idea was shot down by the DJ and we were told to hang out in the bar until the scheduled dinner time even though we were ahead of schedule. Additionally, the DJ mentioned he asked me as the bride during the reception if I wanted to do the bouquet toss and said he never received a response so never did it; I clearly did not hear him and he even acknowledged I was speaking to a guest when he asked. Another point of contention was that the song I specifically asked to walk down the aisle to was not queued up. When this was pointed out, the DJ did admit it was wrong and said “I’m human.” Ultimately, our biggest complaint is that multiple items we requested to occur in our planning forms did not happen. It was never communicated to us that we were running out of time so we could select which activities we wanted to do (even if it wasn’t all the activities we had requested). The amount we paid for DJ services was more than our photographer or food and was close to what we paid for our venue. The service we received did not reflect the price point we paid in our eyes. Overall, the Energy Event Group throws a great party, we did have a great time. My biggest recommendation when selecting a DJ for your wedding is to make sure you make it very clear ahead of time what you want done. We thought we had done that and we ultimately missed out on memories and activities when we trusted our DJ to ensure all activities occurred even if that means having to hunt down the bride and groom. As you would imagine on your wedding day you get pulled in a million directions and have no idea what time it is.

We had Darnell as our wedding DJ and he was phenomenal! Both Jason and Darnell were involved from the very beginning of booking to the day before our wedding making sure we had things all lined up! (And of course Darnell was there DJing but by that time it’s all a party :)) It was so nice to follow their lead on what our reception timeline would look like but still have full control over creativity for what ever we wanted to do, they were always on board for any of our ideas! Darnell kept the dance floor packed - literally all the way until the lights came on to end the reception. We still have people come up to us and tell us what a riot our wedding was, all thanks to Darnell and EEG!! Thank you! We couldn’t say enough good things about these guys - they truly love celebrating love!

Jason from EEG is hands down the BEST! He goes far beyond the role of just a DJ. He is attentive to every detail and ensures that everything from the set up of the ceremony to the end of the reception is flowing perfectly. He also provides a fun atmosphere and keeps guests entertained all evening. I can’t recommend EEG enough!

We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of EEG and Jason for our wedding reception. We had 2 meetings in which Jason made sure to go over every detail so we knew what to expect and made sure to listen to any of our requests. We had SO many people say to us that they’ve never had so much fun at a wedding reception before. The games we played, the music, and the flow of the entire evening was perfect. It was so nice to be able to completely trust him as a vendor and know that I didn’t have to worry about the small things. I would 100% recommend EEG and Jason to future brides!

I would give Jason 6 stars if I could. I knew from the first phone call with Jason that we had made the perfect choice for our DJ. Night or day, Jason has GREAT communication and always made sure our questions were answered in a timely manner. We had meetings throughout the year and he helped me with SO many things I would’ve never remembered on my own. He is so much more than “just a DJ”. On our wedding day, Jason set up the most perfect lighting, played beautiful music before & during the ceremony, and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the entire day. He helped dismiss tables for the buffet line, direct speeches, coordinated with other vendors, and so so much more. We played games and danced to some really fun songs that everyone interacted with. Because our wedding was on a Sunday, a lot of our guests left early. Not Jason. He stayed long into the night and kept the party going! We had the most fun I have ever had in my almost 22 years of life. He also danced the night away with us- and I have never seen any other DJ do that :-) Thank you Jason, for keeping the energy high and giving us the most perfect day. No matter what the cost would’ve been, I would book you a million times over. 10000% worth it, you will not regret your decision with Jason & Energy Event Group!

Having Energy Event Group as a part of our wedding day was one of the best decisions that we made! We had Jason join us for our big day and he sure brought the energy! We had been to a previous wedding of his and had SO MUCH FUN that we knew he had to be a part of our day as well! During our first Facetime meeting, after talking we left the conversation feeling like we had known him for years! He is so easy to get along with and knows how to put the couple 100% first! We met a few times throughout the year to make sure we stayed on track and coordinated everything correctly. On the wedding day, DJs make or break the vibe of the night and our dance floor was overflowing throughout the entire night. He was super interactive and played all the right songs that kept the dance floor busy! He had fun games that kept all of our guests busy and never made them feel like they were waiting for the next thing. He brought the energy, the fun, great lighting, great planning, and made our wedding a day that we will never forget!
