have our wedding and that if we were serious he would need a deposit or he would take the other couple over us, even though we had contacted Jason first and set up a meeting first. That should have been our red flag to run. I usually do not give people money until a service is being rendered but we saw his reviews and decided he must be worth it, so we made a deposit. This first meeting with Jason was so i could feel him out and see if we meshed. Jason was nice and fun but very focused on telling us that he has worked with famous people and rich people almost as if he needed to validate himself constantly which we both did not like... we chose Energy Event Group which looking back was a huge mistake. In January Jason reached out to my fiancée to schedule a second meeting to discuss more details about our wedding. My fiancée called jason to schedule said meeting, and at that time we decided to pay him the remainder of our balance owed rather than his scheduled installments. In all we paid Jason about $2000 prior to our second meeting. A few days before to this second meeting, my fiancée received another email stating we needed to schedule the meeting (that had already been scheduled a few weeks prior) which then my fiancée had to remind him of the date and time it was scheduled! Our second meeting was scheduled at 12PM on a Saturday, and my fiancée and I naturally showed up 10 minutes early, but Jason was 15 minutes late and did not apologize at all when he arrived. I decided to ask him for an apology for being so late and he deflected the question multiple times. I asked him if it was too late to get a full or partial refund and cancel with him. Jason stated he would not refund any of our $2000. After about 5 minutes of a discussion on the importance of being on time to a scheduled meeting, I decided to swallow my pride and to keep him as our DJ after he half heartedly apologized for being late... another mistake. Around the end of April my fiancée and i made the hardest decision which was to cancel our September 2020 wedding due to the global pandemic, which we all know as coronavirus or COVID-19. Our reasoning was due to that fact that the majority of our guests were not only over the age of 65 (including my fiancée’s 80 yr old father with major heart issues), but most of them were flying in from out of state. We did not want to risk exposure to our guests or vendors. We spoke with Jason about canceling and he assured me that the pandemic would be settled down quickly and to just wait another month before canceling, or possibly move our date to 2021. We had already thought this through before we called Jason, but knew it was in our best interest to cancel. I asked Jason multiple times for a full refund, or even a partial refund, and he kept telling me to wait it out or push it forward because I'm assuming the $2000 dollars of ours he had was helping keep his business afloat... otherwise we probably would have gotten even a small portion back but Jason told us he would not refund any portion..........

ding. They were an hour and a half late and "forgot" several food/dry good items for our dinner. Jason handled it all- like a BOSS. He made sure things kept flowing smoothly, changed the order of speeches so that our guests were still entertained while waiting for dinner, talked with our guests to make sure everyone was happy, stayed in contact with the catering staff to make sure they were getting on track (ran back & forth to the kitchen!), and even offered to order food from wherever my parents wanted since the caterers thought they were going to run out! Talk about going ABOVE & BEYOND for your customer! Not only did he handle the entire night and turn it from a disaster into an amazingly FUN time... he threw in an amazing surprise for our first dance! Their exciting, new lumiblasts! It was an incredible surprise and thoughtful gesture that he wouldn't have had to do! We booked all of EEG's services (except for the surprise!): the ultimate DJ entertainment & uplighting/monogram package, videographer, photo booth, and reception photo package. As I had expected, we were extremely pleased with everything! We had a blast with the videographer, Darrian all day & night! Super easy to work with and he makes you feel comfortable while he is filming! The uplighting & monogram were beautiful, the personalized background for the photo booth was awesome, and our guests loved the fun! The dance floor was packed all night long! This is a memory I will never forget and am truly grateful to have. Not only did he play great songs that got every age group involved he also had several different activities/events that kept everyone engaged and entertained. We also went with Energy Event Group's photo booth instead of doing a traditional signed guest book. We wanted to have pictures for memories instead of just signatures and we couldn't be more pleased. Everyone took part in the photo booth and had such a fun time with all the different props Jason and Darian brought. We can't say thank you enough for everything they did to make our wedding perfect! He honored all of our wishes of opting out of the traditional garter auction, dollar dance, etcetera. I loved that he had us end our night with our first dance song surrounded by everyone. We have seen a short section from the Videography work which was done by Damian of EEG the day of our wedding. We both decided that this was something important to us. We are so grateful we did it as the day flies by and this we will always have. As the Bride, I missed everyone walking up the aisle and I'm so glad I will get to see this! Damian worked very well with our photographer too and they were able to both get the shots they wanted. EEG was awesome all around!!

I had multiple family members come up to me or message me afterwards saying it was the best wedding dance they had ever been to and I know that was because we had hired the best. He keeps things flowing and really sets the tone for a great celebration. Something really special that I want to mention is that Jason helped my dad surprise me with a recording of him singing our father-daughter dance. It was one of the most touching moments of my life, and it wouldn't have even been a possibility if we would have had anyone else as our DJ. Jason also had his crew member Darian who really kept the party going! He took pictures of our dance and created a special video clip that showed the highlights of our night. ithout a doubt say that your wedding NEEDS to have Jason and EEG as a part of your wedding day. We booked Jason as our host/DJ, and his team for videography, uplighting, and our monogram. Throughout the whole planning process, Jason was always easy to get ahold of, and took care of any issue or question that we had. We cannot thank him enough for throwing such an amazing party. Our guests never left the dance floor all night, and I am constantly getting compliments about how much fun everyone had! We definitely booked the best!

The following 24 hours were a million texts back and forth of us BOTH contacting venues and possible availability that would work for him, the church, and the venue. FINALLY, after about 5 days of back and forth trying to coordinate a date, he did us a huge favor and picked up a date that he was originally not going to work because he was leaving town bright and early the next morning for his anniversary. We were stoked! From there on out, Jason held a very professional relationship with the both of us through email and at our meetings. He had great advice on things we hadn't thought about and was very considerate of things that were important to us for the reception. Not to go unnoted, he and his team, Darnell and Darian, were just as accommodating and successful when it came to executing the dance we had dreamed of. The dance floor was packed from the very start to the very end, and our guests were still begging for more at 1:30 in the morning. Needless to say, our reception/dance was more than we ever could have imagined and we have to give all the credit to this amazing group of gentleman. WORTH EVERY DIME!

Our wedding ceremony was earlier than most ceremonies (2:30pm) and so our social hour/reception started earlier than most. I really wanted to have a photobooth at our reception for the time the guests were waiting for us and the wedding party to arrive, and he was very accommodating with that! There were many options for the monograms so we were able to choose one that really fit my husband and I and the theme we were going for. The uplighting is what really tied everything together! The energy and look that it creates I think is really amazing! Jason and I talked before my wedding to get an idea of what color to use. I really wasn't quite sure what would look best, but they were able to match the colors I had so that it matched perfectly. I really appreciate their services and everything they did to help make our day perfect. You can tell they really invest their time to create a relationship that will create the best experience. for me in a reasonable amount of time. The entertainment the DJ provided was outstanding. Our dance floor was always full and I have received so many compliments about EEG's great work. I only had to meet personally with Jason one time for about an hour to go over the ceremony and reception details. It was very straight forward and to the point which helped a lot with a busy schedule like mine.
