Energy Innovation Center is a beautiful city-side wedding venue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From the gorgeous rooftop views of the city to the extravagant reception spaces, this venue could provide the perfect urban setting for your dream wedding or special event.
Energy Innovation Center is home to four different venue spaces, all of which could make a unique backdrop for your wedding day. The Covestro BrightSpace is perfect for a reception, giving you clear and uninterrupted views of the Pittsburgh skyline. The Glass Elevator is another great reception space, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and offering space for small celebrations. The Roadways are long, wide spaces with colorful pipes lining the ceiling which are the perfect location for a seated dinner, food tables, games, etc. The Green Roof is ideal for wedding photography, offering a lush green lawn for all of your photo ops.

Shannon went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that our vision for our wedding was fully realized. She was always available for walkthroughs and patiently answered all of our questions. Shannon's team was also friendly and quick to flip the ceremony space to our dance floor. We highly recommend the Energy Innovation Center, especially if you want 10/10 views and have your guests still talking about your venue to this day!

Their incredible kindness and willingness to help make our day perfect just help top off what is already a gorgeous venue. aw got married here last weekend 5/13/23 and it was the best party ever! The couple is so happy with their choice of EIC. It rained a bit after the ceremony so they didn’t do outdoor photos in the city as planned but it didn’t matter, EIC has a lot of cool areas to get photos taken indoors (and outdoors) and the bride was actually happier they got to take advantage of those spaces in the building. Last but not least Shannon is the greatest! During the entire process Shannon was so helpful, answered every question and made sure every vision came true! She worked from sun up to sun down with a smile on her face. You cannot ask for a better event director!!!! We are so happy we decided to use EIC!! Thanks so much to Shannon and also to Eventioneer rentals, Penn Rustic, Ace Bartenders and Bistro To Go their services were 5 star (and the Bistros food is delicious!)!!!

Shannon was incredibly flexible, putting in a lot of hours to help my sister completely re-plan her decorations, seating chart, and flow of the day. The Energy Innovation Center staff went above and beyond to make the day (and the week leading up to the wedding) perfect. The last-minute venue switch was so seamless that many guests commented that they would have never known we needed to change the location based on how fantastic everything looked and how well the event was managed. It was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. Our guests LOVED the windows, the view and the amazing rooftop!
