The ballroom, cocktail hour room, and outdoor area for the ceremony are newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous. To this day, our guests still can’t stop talking about how unique and delicious the food was. Trisha, Vicky and the rest of the team are the best of the best. The day went seamless and without a hitch thanks to them and the entire team at Engineers. They truly worked with us on each aspect and made our day so special. We’d give more than five stars if we could!

it as a rehearsal location without even seeing it so Trisha was able to send us pictures, videos and even FaceTimed us so we were able to see the grounds when we booked. We had about 80 people attend on the second story (with both the indoor location for dinner and the patio for drinks and mingling). Trisha was nice enough to provide us with a sound system for speeches and (for a small price) even went out and purchased flowers for centerpieces for our tables. The food was absolutely amazing (we choose an upscale BBQ - steak, chicken, mac and cheese, etc.) as were the drinks. Everything about the night was seamless and made us even more excited for our wedding the following day. Would 100% recommend doing a rehearsal dinner (or even a wedding here).

the most beautiful outdoor ballroom for our black tie affair. The ceremony against the backdrop of their stunning grounds made the ceremony even more special. The food was amazing, we got so many compliments, and the service was exceptional. It was wonderful to be able to get ready and take all pictures at the club before the wedding in the evening. The bridal party got their at 8am and we were served breakfast and lunch and all our needs were taken care of. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd do another affair there in a heartbeat.

elt like we had known Ben and Trisha for years even though we had only just met them. They are detailed, competent, responsive and just good people who care about the couples they are working with. Our original wedding was scheduled for May 9, 2020, but had postpone to November 2020 due to COVID. We ultimately cancelled our November 2020 wedding in August once we realized that a 225-person event was not going to happen and got married in a private ceremony We heard horror stories from friends in similar situations where their venues were refusing refunds and restricting available future dates. ECC, Ben and Trisha could not have been more flexible and understanding about the situation. We don’t doubt for a second that our black-tie, Saturday night rager would have been amazing, but we were most impressed with is how ECC conducted themselves when everyone realized the situation was not going to work out. We recommend that anyone looking to get married in the NY area to do it at ECC and have the night that we couldn’t.

We didn’t have to go anywhere else to take photos before the reception began. There were beautiful hydrangeas blooming in August as well as locations on the golf course. Everyone was so accommodating and the service was impeccable, setting up the decor beforehand and serving during the reception. I know that this is not a well known venue on Long Island but it is definitely a perfect location!

cer. - The woman we worked with initially sold us on having boots on the ground (essentially an in house wedding planner) - while she did end up leaving the venue, Trisha and Ben did a phenomenal job and kept that promise. - Pictures of the food (we didn't try any before we picked the venue) looked awesome and with the menu you got a lot (bunch of stations, ton of pass arounds) during the cocktail hour. - It is not a cheap venue, but the bang for buck is excellent. It was less than any venue we looked at in the city and competitively priced with the venues on LI/Westchester. After we chose Engineers as our venue: - Ben and Trisha were very flexible. They worked with us to make sure that everything was to our liking. - Had us in for lunch when Trisha came on to introduce her (as I noted earlier the woman we booked the wedding with ended up leaving), it was a very nice touch and put my wife at ease. - There was no nickel and diming - if anything there were things included that you wouldn't expect to be. Trisha and Ben were responsive and delivered thorough answers. Day of: - Well taken care of during the day - great lunch spread for my groomsmen (and her bridesmaids). - Cocktail hour was really well done. The hors d'oeuvres were consistent and plentiful, there was 0 line at the bar...my parents are still getting compliments from their friends on the cocktail hour. Upgrade to the sushi - it is worth it. - Ballroom was beautiful and we didn't spend a lot on flowers. It is very easy to dress up. - We had the after party there (I highly recommend it), they were cool about it going over and really respectful of our guests. - The staff was wonderful - they did a really great job all around. Overall, we couldn't have picked a better venue. If you're looking on long island, take the hour to go see this place.

During the cocktail hour, guests had two large rooms to move around in - one of which had couches and other very comfortable seats to lounge in. Every single guest raved about the food during the cocktail hour as well as the reception. When I tell you they had enough food to feed an army, I’m not kidding. Nobody left hungry. Nobody left upset. No matter what their dietary restrictions were, ECC found something for them to eat and enjoy! Between the food and endless cocktails, we had very happy guests. But more importantly, WE were happy. We were in good hands and had absolutely nothing to worry about on our big day! My bridal attendant was by my side whenever I needed her and helped us with anything, no questions asked. Our venue was one of the easiest and best decisions we made!

adjacent, recently redecorated room for dinner. The setting was lovely and the staff were well trained and were attentive but not intrusive. Our buffet BBQ included a variety of main choices and seasonal offerings. It was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. Both spaces allowed our guests to comfortably mix and mingle. I would be remiss if I did not compliment our event planner who was efficient in responding to my emails and was on top of everything leading up to and including the day of our function. he best night ever! The food was beyond amazing! So many stations my friends tell me they are still full and the wedding was a week ago. The staff was on another level!!! First class service the whole night! I had Victoria as my personal helper the whole night and I just wanted to take her home with me. She bustled my dress! Changed my shoes!! And brought us all the cocktail hour food to our room before we greeted our guests. We are still smiling from the best night of our lives at ECC. Thank you!!!

Responsiveness to calls, emails or texts were swift and helpful..sometimes even late into the night! The event came off without a single glitch. They made the long wedding day as enjoyable as we could imagine! We have received an incredible number of communications from our guests raving about the overall experience of our daughter and son in law’s wedding. The food was outrageous, and the service was over the top in every way. The updated facility was clean and beautiful as was the landscaping which helped allow some great outdoor pictures. Can’t recommend ECC and the team of Ben and Trisha high enough, just awesome!

but feel that we were running extremely behind. Luckily, Ben immediately contacted us to explain the situation and met with us to go over EVERYTHING that we would want on our wedding day. Come February, Trisha joined the team as the new Director of Catering and between her and Ben, we were completely reassured and knew that our wedding would be amazing. Both Trisha and Ben were extremely friendly, accommodating, and overall such a pleasure to work with. They were always available when we needed them and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was a huge success. I’m seriously going to miss working with them! The new Executive Chef Steven De Bruyn provided an excellent menu with so many creative options. The food at our wedding was phenomenal, everything from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the cocktail hour stations and main courses were perfect. The passed desserts were just the icing on the cake, sooo delicious! The country club and grounds looked absolutely beautiful on the day of our wedding. It accommodated our large guest list of 280 people perfectly. All members of the staff were professional, attentive, and wonderful. Our guests have not stopped raving about our wedding and many of them have told us that this was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! Every single detail was perfect and exactly what we dreamed our wedding would be. None of this would have been possible without the hard work of everyone at Engineers. We could not be more grateful to have had our wedding here and we cannot wait to come back! The perfect wedding venue!!

Ben Hammond made every dream of ours come true from start to finish. Our guests could not get over how impeccable table service was with two waiters to each table...and how accommodating everyone was! I can't stop thinking about how beautiful the room looked, how clean everything was, and how there wasn't one thing out of place! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our Wedding was the best day of our lives and I can't thank them enough! If you're thinking about having a wedding here....don't even hesitate! You will be shocked, amazed, and wowed! My guests can't stop saying its the BEST WEDDING THEY EVER WENT TOO!!!!

Our guests are still raving about how beautiful Engineers is, but most of all from the cocktail hour through dessert the quality, presentation and selection of food was superb. The staff was very attentive throughout the evening. Elyse truly helped make our dream become a reality. We highly recommend Enginners and look forward to having another affair there!

nished their meals and there were still 4 tables who hadn’t received theirs yet. Dinner wasn’t finished being served until after 10:30 pm. The staff in the ball room was completely nonexistent. No one refilled water or drinks. And EVERY single guest commented that they never received champagne for the toast. I have NEVER been to a wedding where that occurred. Five of my guests left at 10:30 pm and their food had not been served yet. One of my guests was eating his meal with TWO KNIVES. He said he never found a waiter to ask for a fork. One of the tables was given only two steak knives when five people had ordered steak. Again, no staff nearby to fix such a simple issue. Elyse was disorganized and unreliable and quite frankly condescending, rude, and irritating. She made promises and never followed through on them. I was told we would be getting ready in a particular room and specifically hired my photographers to come early to capture pictures of us getting ready there. The day of the wedding, however, we were told we were not allowed to use that room and the photographer could not come into the room we had to use instead because it was a ladies locker room. Funny now seeing another review where a woman specifically mentioned getting ready in the room we were promised....so how come I wasn’t allowed to use it too? When we first sat down with Elyse, prior to signing the contract, she made numerous statements and promises (I have all my notes) and never followed through. She told us we could choose 6 different entrees at the tasting but then the week before the tasting said we could only pick three. She initially told me that I could choose ANY type of cake I wanted but at our final meeting I showed her a fondant cake and she snapped that “no. Your cake must be buttercream.” She never let me have the option to pick something different after promising me that I could. She also told me that I had to go and buy the sugar pearls for the cake (which I did) but she should have done it or had the bakery take care of it. She promised us we would be able to take pictures at different parts of the golf course but on the day of, surprise surprise, we weren’t allowed anywhere but near the putting green. I checked in with THREE tables and NONE of the guests sitting down were served coffee with their cake. I’m sure it was more than three tables. And a waiter interrupted my sister from filming a toast to ask what her dinner order was. So now that video is completely ruined. On top of everything Elyse was difficult to get in touch with. I regret ever choosing this place. Most of my guests commented that it was obvious that the service was severely lacking. I was upset and embarrassed and now have to live with the disappointment. It is sad to realize just how much we overpaid for awful service. Many of my guests left disappointed which upsets me the most. Again, if I could turn back time, I would have NEVER selected this venue and I would never recommend it to anyone else. There are PLENTY of beautiful venues. Just make sure you get some real testimonials before choosing a place.

We felt we got a lot of bang for our buck here, and found a lot of things we wanted were already included in the price per head. We had a decent sized wedding of 210 people. The day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly. The staff was so nice and helpful while I got ready with my bridesmaids in the ladies card room. We stayed on scheduled all day, never feeling rushed or short on time. People tell me it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to - that we had the most food, best food options, and it was spacious. Not to mention the churros and water on the way out late-night. The staff were all SO helpful and jumped to help us with whatever we needed. Ben helped me so much prepare for the wedding - giving me good ideas of things I wouldn't have thought of - I was just glad I found someone has organized as me! We took gorgeous pictures up and down the golf course and outside on the grounds. The reception flowed perfectly and we had an amazing time. I would recommend this venue to anybody looking for their perfect wedding. And I can't say enough good things about Ben - I truly have him to thank for my perfect wedding day!
