Junie was the best! In only 2 lessons (which she was so great to book on the weekend or after hours to accommodate our work schedules) she had us looking like professionals for our first dance which took a ton of anxiety away. Many people said it was the best first dance they had seen and thought we had done months of lessons. 11/10 recommend if you are planning a wedding and not sure about whether to take first dance lessons - it was a fun way to get a new skill and take away some stress from the day of!

My husband and I originally signed up for dance lessons to prepare for our first dance, but also because we wanted a fun excuse for a little date day together. From the very first lesson, Junie made us feel completely comfortable, even though neither of us had any real dance experience. She is such a light and a joy, and we had so much fun with her that we’re honestly sad our lessons are over!
She was incredibly patient and so knowledgeable, which we appreciated knowing little to nothing about dancing. Because of her, our first dance felt effortless and so special. She helped us feel confident and natural and that’s something we’ll always be grateful for!

She gave us many options for dance moves so we could choose what suited us and felt comfortable to perform. Before our wedding, she checked in and offered to record and send videos of any steps we wanted to review. She even made sure I felt comfortable dancing in my wedding shoes. That level of care made the entire process easy and supportive. Even my introverted husband felt completely at ease during our dance lessons.
Our first dance turned out beautifully. We are very grateful for her time and care, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.

for our wedding. The entire time, she listened to our worries, supported us endlessly, and even incorporated some of our suggestions and things that represented me and my now husband. All while being professional and making sure we looked good and were doing moves safely.
She helped us learn that dancing isn’t hitting the right moves perfectly and at the right time, but it’s about being with your partner and dancing how it feels right to you and your bodies.
We took private classes and it just felt like a few friends hanging out. She made it a very calming and relaxed environment all while maintaining her professionalism and determination to help us reach our goal. She was truly one of my favorite vendors to work with and I didn’t expect to enjoy a vendor’s company that much, but it seems to come so naturally to Junie.

I’ve been around the block with coaches/instructors, she truly has a gift! She made me and my now husband, so comfortable learning how to dance with each other. It takes a true dancer to be able to teach and guide, as well as let the couple find their own style. My mother in law flew in to do lesson and she put my husband and his mom on her schedule for 5 days straight and was willing to talk over the phone and do whatever they needed. My dad could not come down to Florida to get lessons so she recorded videos for him and I to watch when I got home and it was amazing. She also incorporates elements that are important to you—a lift or dip, etc. Classes with Junie are more than just dance lessons-she also focuses on connection and breathing. Lessons with Junie are a class above—this is NOT your basic chain studio canned routine. Her experience and knowledge are obvious. Incredible experience, highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their own special first dance routine. She also helped my husband come up with a routine with his mother who lives across the world and doesn’t speak English—she worked around the time change and language barrier and provided zoom lessons for their mother-son dance, which was incredible! I had strong feelings about not wanting out dance to be cheesy or overly stiff/choreographed, and Junie totally understood and gave us options for different moves and showed us exactly how to do them. Our dance ended up being exactly how we wanted it to be and the best part of our wedding!! I can’t recommend her enough. She will work with you to make sure you have the dance you envision and is so supportive and present the entire lesson for each lesson. Once our final wedding date was approaching, we wanted to pick it back up in NYC, and did some research on dance teachers that fit our desires for the first dance: choregraphed, some wow factor, but accessible for beginners. Junie was above and beyond in all of these aspects. We met her over Zoom before our first lesson and felt like her personality and teaching philosophies were exactly what we were looking for. After lesson #1, we were SOLD! We knew she was going to help us master a perfect first dance. We had so much fun going to our remaining lessons. Junie was super accommodating when it came to scheduling, and finding dance studios that worked for our time and schedules. She also helped us slow down and reflect on *why* we were learning this first dance, which was so refreshing during the wedding planning chaos. I can't wait to have another reason to work with Junie -- putting in my request for a salsa or tango night in NYC. Evan and I will be there in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor, and hire Junie for any dance needs. She is the best in the game.

I cannot recommend June and Enhance Your Dance enough. And I really can't wait to show her the recordings of our dances on our wedding day.
Junie is the only vendor that I walked away learning from knowing it was truly worth every dollar I spent and it didn't even break the bank.

nd doesn't know how to dance, nor really know how to find rhythm, yet Junie was able to make us look like we were experts. :) Junie is an amazing teacher and super cool person, too! We highly recommend her and we will seek her out again for our 10 year anniversary dance party. ;)

to. She made my dreams have having a magical first dance come true! We wanted a dance that didn't seem so overly planned and more seamless. She is so so sweet and a pleasure to work with! Had such creative moves that worked for us that we would of never thought of. She also helped us memorize the dance and link the dance moves to the specific moment in the song. I would refer her to anyone looking to make their first dance dreams come true!

She surpassed our expectations! She made a unique, special dance that we felt comfortable doing. We got so many compliments the day of. I even asked her back for a lesson with my Dad for the father daughter dance. I highly recommend Junie!

t really care that much. However, as soon as we started the class with Junie, he started loving it. She was always very patient and professional, super talented and devoted, and on top of that, extremely nice! She was showing us over and over if necessary and was always making us super comfortable, showing us that the important was to have fun and that we didn't care if we were doing mistakes. She also was able to adjust the dance according the time we had and she was always trying to be flexible, even if she was herself super busy and organizing her own wedding. We ended up with a beautiful choreography that was pretty long: it was 4 minutes with 3 different sections for 3 different types of dance. Our guests absolutely loved it!
Planing a wedding can be a very stressful experience and taking these classes is the best you can do to yourself and your couple to release the pressure while still working on having the best wedding! Thanks for everything Junie, we will always remember you, your classes, your great energy and how we felt doing our first dance!

Her patience is outstanding - my husband had zero dancing experience and within a few week's time, he picked up a two step salsa routine! Throughout the process, she remained available to discuss any changes we wanted to make, provide constructive feedback and always brought a positive vibe to our lessons.
