Junie is incredible. She created dances for the bride and groom, the groom and his mom, and the bride and her dad. My husband and I we so nervous and unsure if we wanted to get lessons. Junie was so kind and understanding. She walked through everything for us at our pace and would make changes to our dance that best worked for us. We loved out experience with Junie. My mother in law flew in to do lesson and she put my husband and his mom on her schedule for 5 days straight and was willing to talk over the phone and do whatever they needed. My dad could not come down to Florida to get lessons so she recorded videos for him and I to watch when I got home and it was amazing. We recommend Junie for anyone wanted to learn dance or just get to have fun. Junie is amazing.

Junie was the best dance instructor we could have hoped to have! My wife and I had no previous dance experience and Junie was able to teach us a lot in only a few sessions. She worked really hard to make sure we looked good during the first dance at our wedding. Taking dance lessons with Junie was one of the most fun things about preparing for the wedding! We had the best time learning our wedding dance with Junie. She learned about us as a couple and came up with a dance perfect for us, part slow and romantic and part fun and poppy. The process of creating our dance became one of our favorite memories. The kindness, dedication, and creativity Junie provided created an atmosphere where learning was fun. Her passion for dance is beautiful, but her passion for creating a moment and connection is even more amazing. She was so helpful and accommodating during the whole process.

Dancing with Junie was a highlight of our wedding planning! She worked with us to customize a dance that was perfect for our song and prepared us for things we didn’t even know to think about. She’s an amazingly talented dancer and made it SO much fun. We got married over 6 months ago and people still keep asking who our dance instructor was because our dance was that good - can’t recommend enough. It’s also so nice to work with a business owner who loves her craft and clients so much.

We had such a great experience with Junie! We only had 3 weeks before our wedding and were able to learn a cute first dance! 10/10 recommend! She gave us extra dance tips for the night and gave great advice in general

Junie was the most wonderful teacher we could ask for. She made our lessons so enjoyable. It really became a fun bonding activity for us leading up to the wedding. She gives you so many options to choose from to make your dance your own—allowing you to choose what feels most comfortable to you. She also incorporates elements that are important to you—a lift or dip, etc. Classes with Junie are more than just dance lessons-she also focuses on connection and breathing. Lessons with Junie are a class above—this is NOT your basic chain studio canned routine. Her experience and knowledge are obvious. Incredible experience, highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their own special first dance routine. She also helped my husband come up with a routine with his mother who lives across the world and doesn’t speak English—she worked around the time change and language barrier and provided zoom lessons for their mother-son dance, which was incredible! We can’t thank her enough!

We did one lesson to help us get more comfortable for our first dance and Junie was amazing!! We went from no dance experience to feeling absolutely confident. The instruction was clear and it was a great experience all around. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with a great first dance!

Junie is absolutely amazing !!! Hands down the best decision we made was choosing her for dance lessons and getting a choreographed first dance and father/daughter dance for our wedding. It was my husband and I’s first time doing any kind of formal dancing and she was so patient, and kind with us. We did the 5 private lessons package and I did 1 additional lesson with my dad. Guests were blown away by our dance. We had the best time and have already thought about doing more classes with her!! 1000/10

If you are looking for the best dance instructor please look no more! I can't speak more highly of Julianna. She is extremely professional and is able to cater to whatever dance level you are seeking. My husband and I used her to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. She not only recreated exactly what I wanted but was patient in teaching and perfecting each step. She is punctual and is able to nurture a fun pressure free atmosphere. We thoroughly used to look forward to dance class each week. She is truly amazing inside and out!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Enhance Your Dance!! My fiance and I worked with Rebecca and Vuk for about 4 weeks, and we can not say enough incredible things about them both as dance instructors and as people. They are so easy to work with, and they are so incredibly talented! I would recommend them to any couple at any dance level to help make your first wedding dance beautiful and to feel the most comfortable and confident doing it.

Junie was awesome to work with. She was super flexible with scheduling (a godsend in nyc), is an amazing dancer herself, and was so sweet even though we went back and forth a bunch of times on our first dance song. I had strong feelings about not wanting out dance to be cheesy or overly stiff/choreographed, and Junie totally understood and gave us options for different moves and showed us exactly how to do them. Our dance ended up being exactly how we wanted it to be and the best part of our wedding!! I can’t recommend her enough. She will work with you to make sure you have the dance you envision and is so supportive and present the entire lesson for each lesson. We <3 Junie and want her to come back to nyc so we can do more first dance lessons!!

Junie was/is the BEST. Her approach is spot on - she meets you where you are and is extremely personable and flexible. Our first dance was longer than most (4 minutes) and Junie choreographed it perfectly to meet our style and abilities. It was simply fun to spend time with her in the studio - it felt like we were old friends. Junie - thank you for being you and making our first dance so special!

We worked with Junie to prepare for our first dance and I'm so grateful that we did. Neither me or my fiance knew the first thing about how to choreograph a dance and Junie made the entire process feel easy and fun. She really took two clueless people and made us feel confident and semi-graceful on our wedding day. Junie worked with us on practicing our first dance and taught us how to do turns, lifts, dips, etc. and we also worked with her to practice some basic dance moves for more upbeat/party songs. She is just a lovely person and I can't recommend her enough!

We were in the market for an instructor for our first dance, and what we found in Junie was that, plus so much more. Getting to spend an hour with Junie makes you a better dancer, and her positive approach to life will also put you in a great mood. She comes prepared with ideas but always caters the moves to you and your partner. Junie also brings everything you do back to the core reasons you're there - to connect with your partner and begin to build a life together. We couldn't recommend Junie enough and will be booking her for date nights long after our wedding!

Junie was awesome, she had some ideas for our first dance at our wedding before we even walked into the first lesson, and adapted everything to what we could do (dress limitations) and what felt like "us." She was communicative, flexible, and great to work with. Our first dance was a huge success and we both felt great, and more confident in our dips and general dancing abilities! Junie was the best vendor we worked with in our entire 3-year-long (thanks COVID!) wedding planning process. We had originally started learning a first dance in San Francisco in 2020 before we made the move to NYC. Once our final wedding date was approaching, we wanted to pick it back up in NYC, and did some research on dance teachers that fit our desires for the first dance: choregraphed, some wow factor, but accessible for beginners. Junie was above and beyond in all of these aspects. We met her over Zoom before our first lesson and felt like her personality and teaching philosophies were exactly what we were looking for. After lesson #1, we were SOLD! We knew she was going to help us master a perfect first dance. We had so much fun going to our remaining lessons. Junie was super accommodating when it came to scheduling, and finding dance studios that worked for our time and schedules. She also helped us slow down and reflect on *why* we were learning this first dance, which was so refreshing during the wedding planning chaos. I can't wait to have another reason to work with Junie -- putting in my request for a salsa or tango night in NYC. Evan and I will be there in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor, and hire Junie for any dance needs. She is the best in the game.

Hi Junie, I just wanted to say again thank you SO MUCH for your time, your positivity, and your patience. It was such a pleasure working with you during these 5 sessions. Also, you were so kind during this whole time, I wasn't surprised you were also when the wedding was canceled and you let us some time to breathe, and not dealing with financial details right away. You are clearly the best of all the providers we had to deal with in this wedding process :) Again, I was so happy with these dance classes, it was really a time to just enjoy and have fun in the wedding prep'. And you taught us a LOT! I will for sure recommend you around me, and as you said, will be excited to take one more class when we have a new date!!

What a wonderful, incredible and rewarding experience. Erika and I walked into our first class as two uncoordinated, insecure robots, and in a few weeks, Junie turned us into elegant, ballroom dancers, complete with a two-minute + routine and enough confidence to nail multiple lifts and dips in front of everyone we know for our first wedding dance. She's supportive, kind, and instructive, and helped sequence an obscure song, committing the entire thing to memory. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to impress their friends.

Junie was amazing! She offered a virtual lesson for my dad and I and provided some fun moves for us to incorporate into our father daughter dance. She was incredibly patient and her husband and new baby made a few guest appearances to demonstrate the moves. We had so much fun!

Getting a few dance lessons under our belt was not something my fiance and I had initially planned for but our friends recommended Junie from Enhance Your Dance. Surprisingly, it was the most fun part of the wedding planning process. It was fun yet intimate and we learned a lot for people with two left feet. Junie is incredibly patient, kind, creative and a beautiful person. I worked with her for not only my husband but also with my dad. All 3 of us interpret, absorb, remember and learn differently as she was able to get through to all of us. I cannot recommend June and Enhance Your Dance enough. And I really can't wait to show her the recordings of our dances on our wedding day. Junie is the only vendor that I walked away learning from knowing it was truly worth every dollar I spent and it didn't even break the bank.

This is the person you want to hire for your special day and important dance! We worked with Junie for 5-6 sessions prior to our wedding dance which was amazing! #killedit My husband doesn't know how to dance, nor really know how to find rhythm, yet Junie was able to make us look like we were experts. :) Junie is an amazing teacher and super cool person, too! We highly recommend her and we will seek her out again for our 10 year anniversary dance party. ;)

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Junie! To say my husband is a bad dancer is an understatement. Junie was able to get through to him in a way I never have been able to. She made my dreams have having a magical first dance come true! We wanted a dance that didn't seem so overly planned and more seamless. She is so so sweet and a pleasure to work with! Had such creative moves that worked for us that we would of never thought of. She also helped us memorize the dance and link the dance moves to the specific moment in the song. Junie was the best choice we've made for our wedding preparation. She was absolutely amazing. I love dancing and I really wanted to do a dance. My husband was open minded but didn't really care that much. However, as soon as we started the class with Junie, he started loving it. She was always very patient and professional, super talented and devoted, and on top of that, extremely nice! She was showing us over and over if necessary and was always making us super comfortable, showing us that the important was to have fun and that we didn't care if we were doing mistakes. She also was able to adjust the dance according the time we had and she was always trying to be flexible, even if she was herself super busy and organizing her own wedding. We ended up with a beautiful choreography that was pretty long: it was 4 minutes with 3 different sections for 3 different types of dance. Our guests absolutely loved it! Planing a wedding can be a very stressful experience and taking these classes is the best you can do to yourself and your couple to release the pressure while still working on having the best wedding! Thanks for everything Junie, we will always remember you, your classes, your great energy and how we felt doing our first dance!

My husband and I hired Junie to coordinate our wedding first dance - a waltz which flowed into a salsa number. Junie's flexibility worked with our busy schedule. She worked with us to ensure we met on a weekly basis (about 10 weeks before our wedding date). Her patience is outstanding - my husband had zero dancing experience and within a few week's time, he picked up a two step salsa routine! Throughout the process, she remained available to discuss any changes we wanted to make, provide constructive feedback and always brought a positive vibe to our lessons. We highly recommend Junie for her professionalism, creative input and patience.
