Katie's company had 8 weddings featured in Richmond Bride and one in Cosmo Magazine. While on the East Coast she photographed just under 200 weddings before deciding to move home to California. It's fun to look back at our photos from our wedding; it's been over a decade, and they still hold up as stylish, polished, and fun. Incidentally, that's similar to the service we received from Katie at the event. Not only did we come away with tons and tons of amazing photos, we've stayed friends with Katie in the intervening years - she was that much fun to work with. Photography can be one of the most obtrusive parts of your wedding; they're up in your face as you're getting dressed, interrupting precious moments to get the right angle, dragging you away from your party guests to get the perfect sunset lighting. If the photographer isn't an absolute pleasure to work with, those interruptions can be quite a nuisance. But a real pro - someone who loves her work, who is passionate about weddings, who is excited to be there - makes all of that process fun. It's one of those things you can only look back at later, realizing that the positive, outgoing, engaged personality of your photographer made such a big difference in the enjoyment of your wedding. They're a key part, and you have to pick that person very carefully. Katie gets my unqualified recommendation. I'd party with her any day. And like I said: The photos were gorgeous.

I absolutely love all the photos that Katie took of me! Katie was super fun and energetic! She made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I got the photos back faster than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Katie! Katie took very natural, artistic, portraits. Her work is timeless and I will always cherish the photos!
