Enrich Your Relationship Premarital Counseling

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in premarital counseling using the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment, which helps couples identify their unique strengths and potential growth areas. I also offer officiating for those couples who go through premarital counseling with me and are getting married in the Twin Cities. Past clients have said that P/E offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about their partner and dive deeper into discussions about several important topics with the help of a neutral professional, including communication, conflict resolution, finances, relationships with friends and family, and marriage expectations. It gave them the confidence to know that these topics were thoroughly explored and discussed before walking down the aisle. P/E is a strengths-based, proactive way to approach and discuss topics that will inevitably arise in your relationship. I provide a safe, neutral, supportive space for couples to have these discussions using the P/E assessment for structure. I also offer skills and tools to help address areas where there may be current or future relationship challenges. To ensure that PREPARE/ENRICH is the right program for you and we are a good fit, I offer a FREE 20-minute introductory session. I take time during that session to get to know you, explain PREPARE/ENRICH and the process, and answer any questions you have. You are investing time and money into our sessions, and should you choose me as your premarital counselor, I want to ensure that you have the best possible experience and leave feeling like your time and money were well-spent. The P/E assessment consists of ~250 questions; you and your partner take the assessment separately, which generally takes 20-45 minutes to complete. I have a few packages to choose from. The Full package includes up to six 50-minute feedback sessions, during which time we go over the P/E results and talk in-depth about all topics covered in the assessment. The Core package includes four 50-minute feedback sessions and offers flexibility on which topics you want to cover. The Assessment Only package includes the assessment + resources, but no feedback sessions. I also provide a Couples Workbook with additional worksheets for you to work on outside our sessions, a list of Couples Discussion Questions, and other outside resources. Completing the Full or Core packages qualifies you for $75 off your Minnesota marriage license. I am active in dog rescue and strongly believe in the healing power of dogs. My office is dog-friendly, and I encourage clients to bring their four-legged family member(s)! I am LGBTQIA+-friendly and not religiously affiliated. I believe supporting my clients in their journey—religious, spiritual, or otherwise—is essential, and I do not subscribe to one particular belief. I offer weekday evening and weekend in-person and virtual/online sessions.
