From our first phone call we could tell that he is very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does. Throughout the planning meeting and email communications he was able to put me at ease about the flow of the wedding and also accommodate some of our less traditional requests, like having a personal friend play live music during the ceremony and fitting the whole processional into one song. He read the room and set the vibe so perfectly throughout the whole wedding. His music/song choices were spot on and everyone there had a blast. I'm not usually one for dancing and was mentally prepared to force myself onto the dance floor, but by the time the meal was wrapping up I found myself actually itching to get the party started because Greg had been slowly amping up the energy through the mealtime music. He basically works magic. We had a generally older crowd, many of our guests were Asian and spoke English as a second language, plus our wedding was a daytime/brunch event -- and still the dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until the last song played. I even danced half a song with my grandma, who I definitely did not expect to see on the dance floor! He works magic, I'm telling you. I can't believe I originally was on the fence about hiring a DJ/emcee. I am now convinced that working with Greg was a huge part of why our wedding went as smoothly as it did. Chip commanded the dance floor! He listened to our requests and played a mix of music for our guests of all ages. I recommended them to a friend and they were hired to DJ their wedding in June. He was very familiar with our venue (shining tides) which was so Helpful because he was able to make suggestions for our on site ceeremony (what type of mics we’d need so guests can hear our personal vows down to encouraging the pastor to bring a folder or book so his notes don’t blow away. He worked with our string quartet for the ceremony and worked with all of our suggestions for the different moods cocktails/dinner/dancing. The dance floor was packed all night with such a cool balance of new and old to make sure all our guests were included in the best party ever. Our friends and family raved about the music and we’d hire him again and again if we could. You’ll be in the best hands with Greg!

My husband and I have been together for over 12 years, and so the biggest factor of our day, with having all of our friends from each moment of our lives together under one roof, was to throw a great party and ensure a fun evening for everyone, young to old. Greg was so incredibly thorough, ensuring a contingency plan in the off chance anyone involved in our wedding (planner, officiant, quartet) were unable to arrive on the day. We never felt rushed or like we were asking silly questions, and Greg was always so responsive. He shepherded the reception through seamlessly, ensuring guests’ attention was directed to the right place at the right time, and he played the perfect mix of music. Greg also put together a compilation of songs for me and my father dance to dance to that are of personal significance to us (homemade poor quality recordings of my mom and uncle singing) and it sounded incredible - not a dry eye in the room! So many of our guests came up to us to tell us that ours was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended, and that it was one of the best parties. That is in large part thanks to Greg, and his thoughtful approach to the vibe we were going for, as well as cadence and flow to make sure there was something for everyone.
