We had such a good experience working with Greg for our wedding! He was recommended to us by our venue and it was great having someone to work with who was familiar with the venue. From our first phone call we could tell that he is very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does. Throughout the planning meeting and email communications he was able to put me at ease about the flow of the wedding and also accommodate some of our less traditional requests, like having a personal friend play live music during the ceremony and fitting the whole processional into one song. He read the room and set the vibe so perfectly throughout the whole wedding. His music/song choices were spot on and everyone there had a blast. I'm not usually one for dancing and was mentally prepared to force myself onto the dance floor, but by the time the meal was wrapping up I found myself actually itching to get the party started because Greg had been slowly amping up the energy through the mealtime music. He basically works magic. We had a generally older crowd, many of our guests were Asian and spoke English as a second language, plus our wedding was a daytime/brunch event -- and still the dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until the last song played. I even danced half a song with my grandma, who I definitely did not expect to see on the dance floor! He works magic, I'm telling you. I can't believe I originally was on the fence about hiring a DJ/emcee. I am now convinced that working with Greg was a huge part of why our wedding went as smoothly as it did. I cannot recommend him enough!

We LOVED working with Greg! He was exceptionally thoughtful, considerate, and played great music all night long. Our conversations throughout the planning process really put us at ease, especially as a couple with different levels of liking-to-dance. Hiring Greg was the best decision my husband and I made! He went above and beyond what a DJ normally does - it honestly felt like he was our wedding coordinator. As a wedding planner, working with vendors who are collaborative and professional is crucial in making sure the day runs smoothly for the couple. Greg was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and he totally lives up to the hype! We had a pretty long list of songs we wanted played during dinner and at the reception, and he did a fantastic job of finding the right moment for every song and the transitions between songs were seamless. His announcements about special moments such as our first dance and cutting our cake got guests’ attention without feeling cheesy or disruptive to the mood. Even though our wedding was relatively small — around 65 people — and included plenty of “mature” guests, the dance floor was packed and energetic from start to finish, and everyone had a great time! People even told us their feet hurt the next day because they got so into dancing!

Greg was absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough great things about him! We had Greg officiate and DJ our wedding and everything went perfectly! He played great music that elevated the mood, livened up the crowd, and was so fitting for us as a couple and to our guests. The speech for the ceremony he drafted was perfect and he had a microphone that was hidden but allowed for everyone to hear the ceremony. He set up multiple phone calls for us to go over everything and he was so detail oriented, nothing was over looked. He would email back right away and was so understanding to any changes that we had. The entire experience was enjoyable and even our guests raved out how great he was! It was a spectacular night and we have Greg to thank for that.

Where do we begin with just how amazing Greg is to work with?! We just had our wedding in August and to say Greg was absolutely wonderful as our DJ and MC for the night feels like it undersells everything he brings to the table. Throughout the entire pre-wedding process, Greg truly took the time to listen to our ideas and thoughts on music selection and the general schedule, among many other things, while also using his years of experience to offer very helpful tips to make the day run as smoothly and stress-free as possible. He was also incredibly thorough and organized with his notes and itinerary for the big day, which put us at ease and made it clear he was on top of everything. And of course, his musical selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing were all perfectly on point and exactly what we (and our guests) were looking for. More than anything, what we strongly suspect you will see in Greg if you are fortunate enough to work with him is that he cares immensely about the work he is doing and the couples he is working with. He truly wants you to have the best day of your life and he is happy to do whatever is needed to make it happen, whether that means coordinating with different vendors to make sure they are all on the same page, or helping set up the venue, or even gently reminding the couple that it may or may not be time to cut the cake! He is kind, professional, thoughtful, funny, organized, all the positive adjectives you can think of. You will definitely be making the right decision by working with Greg and we could not recommend him more highly!!!

We had our wedding in June and Greg was an amazing DJ. Everyone was raving about the music choices and had so much fun dancing the night away. Hire Greg! The most common compliment we received about our wedding about how fun the dance floor was and we owe it all to Greg. Greg is the absolute best! He was reassuring to us throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding and always there for a call or email. Entertainment Concepts were hired for weddings I attended in 2016 and 2019 and they did a fantastic job. I knew I had to reach out to see if they could do our wedding and they delivered. Chip was professional and easy to work with. He coordinated quickly with my ceremony musician when there were technical difficulties. For the reception, we danced all night. Chip commanded the dance floor! He listened to our requests and played a mix of music for our guests of all ages. I recommended them to a friend and they were hired to DJ their wedding in June. Looking forward to another great wedding.

I can, with the most confidence, say my day would not have run as smoothly as it did without Greg. And beyond that Greg took several moments out of the day to make sure my husband and I were happy and had everything we needed. We asked Greg to do some traditional and non traditional things at our reception, including roasting our bridal party coming in and he absolutely nailed it. I couldn’t have dreamt up a better DJ and partner for our day and every day leading up to it!

I cannot imagine a better wedding do turned friend to orchestrate our special day! From the moment we connected we’d knew he’d be the creative thought partner we were looking for. Greg was so helpful during the year long planning process and was so incredibly positive, organized, and easy to work with! The actual wedding was so perfect and calm and the entire wedding party remarked at how cool and easy to work with Grge was. He made the day a breeze and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. He was very familiar with our venue (shining tides) which was so Helpful because he was able to make suggestions for our on site ceeremony (what type of mics we’d need so guests can hear our personal vows down to encouraging the pastor to bring a folder or book so his notes don’t blow away. He worked with our string quartet for the ceremony and worked with all of our suggestions for the different moods cocktails/dinner/dancing. The dance floor was packed all night with such a cool balance of new and old to make sure all our guests were included in the best party ever. Our friends and family raved about the music and we’d hire him again and again if we could. You’ll be in the best hands with Greg!

We found Greg through our venue's (Willowdale) preferred vendor list and we couldn't be happier!! He kept our dancefloor packed all night! He really took the time to listen to what we requested and was able to cater his music selections to what our guests were dancing to as well which allowed for us to have the best night. Greg came recommended to us by Brian Clague who headed up our string quartet. As Brian is a family friend, we took his suggestion to reach out to Greg to act as DJ and we have never been more grateful to have taken someone’s advice. My husband and I have been together for over 12 years, and so the biggest factor of our day, with having all of our friends from each moment of our lives together under one roof, was to throw a great party and ensure a fun evening for everyone, young to old. Greg was so incredibly thorough, ensuring a contingency plan in the off chance anyone involved in our wedding (planner, officiant, quartet) were unable to arrive on the day. We never felt rushed or like we were asking silly questions, and Greg was always so responsive. He shepherded the reception through seamlessly, ensuring guests’ attention was directed to the right place at the right time, and he played the perfect mix of music. Greg also put together a compilation of songs for me and my father dance to dance to that are of personal significance to us (homemade poor quality recordings of my mom and uncle singing) and it sounded incredible - not a dry eye in the room! So many of our guests came up to us to tell us that ours was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended, and that it was one of the best parties. That is in large part thanks to Greg, and his thoughtful approach to the vibe we were going for, as well as cadence and flow to make sure there was something for everyone. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to Greg, he truly made our night a huge success. PS don’t be afraid to ask for some out there songs - they may be the best of the night!

From the beginning Greg was friendly and personable. He made it clear that he wanted to give us the best day he possibly could. We met with Greg at the recommendation of our wedding planner and immediately knew we wanted to hire him. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about what was needed in planning our wedding, and not only did the standard DJ duties but also gave really helpful tips as someone who attends many weddings, and was a huge help during the event itself. Working with him throughout the planning stages was easy and fun, and we always knew what was going on due to him sharing detailed notes and plans with us. After the wedding, my parents said "the music really flowed, and the intro music when the bride and groom walked in hit the venue's theme perfectly. There was always a sense of engagement and action." Greg and the team worked seamlessly together and he was always ready to help when you needed him at the event! My brother said "There was never a moment in the music where a song came on and I was like 'eh I don't like this one, I'm going to step out'" - our guests had a blast and were raving about how fun the wedding was, and Greg was a huge part of that. 3 years went by between us originally speaking to Greg and our eventual wedding due to covid postponements. While for most categories of vendors we had interviews with many, in the case of Greg we were so blown away by his attention to detail, interest in learning about us. the quality of questions he asked us and his overall experience & professionalism that we’d decided to work him before we even finished the introductory call! In the run up to the event, Greg helped meticulously and perfectly plan the entire schedule and song selection and we had 100% confidence in him at all times. Even with this, Greg still managed to greatly exceed all expectations on the day itself! As a groom who hates dancing, I never could have imagined spending 30 mins on a dance floor let alone the entire 2.5 hours. The latter is what happened! Thanks to Greg, the dance floor was full for every single minute of the wedding without exception or exaggeration. We and our guests had never seen anything like it, with many of our guests saying he was the best they’d seen at any wedding on both the music selection and the microphone with his announcements throughout the event. Greg took our general guidance on the type of songs we’d like to have played, and perfectly read the room throughout the night to vary the pace and genre to miraculously please everyone of all tastes and ages. Greg also coordinated with our harpist to ensure everything electrical was in place. Overall, he truly made it the best, and most importantly, most fun day of our lives and no one need look any further than Greg for their wedding.

We got married on 5.29.22 and Greg made our day extra special. Right when the cocktail hour began he warmly came up to Pavel and I and asked us what we wanted to drink and whether we needed anything. We are so glad that we found Greg because working with him for our wedding was an amazing experience. Before we had even committed to working with him, Greg spent a long time on the phone with us, getting to know us and what kind of day we were envisioning. He was kind, personable, and it was clear that he was an expert DJ and MC. He provided us with a helpful document that allowed us to plan the flow of our event, and met with us over the phone an additional time before our wedding day, helping us to wrap up the details and alleviating our stress. Greg greatly contributed to making our wedding such an amazing day! He worked with our wedding coordinator to keep the event flowing naturally, and was always present, without ever being overbearing or intrusive. Greg had collected a playlist from us before our wedding day for our reception, which he used to understand our taste in music and which songs we requested to be played or avoided. He was able to give great song recommendations and suggestions for the ceremony processional/recessional, cake cutting, and other special moments. He helped us to create a wedding that was very personal and fit who we are. During the reception, he did an amazing job tailoring the playlist based on the mood and the age range of the people he noticed dancing at any given time, which we found very impressive. Everyone had a fabulous time dancing, including people who don’t even normally like to dance at parties. We got compliments from guests of all ages on the wedding playlist. We would gladly work with Greg again for any event we have that requires a DJ and highly recommend him!

Greg exceeded our expectations as the DJ for our wedding! He spends a lot of time with you to get to know you and your musical needs for both the ceremony and reception. Greg helped me figure out my ceremony music, which I was stuck on, and it turned out amazing!! I also didn’t think I would have many people on the dance floor - but he read the crowd perfectly and had everyone on the dance floor! And he got pictures of the ceremony, first dances, and everyone on the dance floor and sent them to me! He was very professional and so easy to work with and talk to - and we had the perfect wedding! Would hands down hire him again for an event, and would recommend others do as well! You won’t be disappointed!

Greg exceeded all our expectations as a DJ! He really took the time to meet with us, get to know our venue and understand our musical needs, and made sure to go prep with us so thoroughly from the ceremony to the reception. Every song was time and played exactly right on our wedding day. We were very particular with our music and gave Greg a large list of songs to play and Greg understood our taste and what genres to play, and kept the flow going perfectly through the night. He really knew how to read the room, understand the vibe and atmosphere as the night went on , and the music really reflected that. He also made sure to check in with us to see how everything was going and we were so happy there was nothing to change. Greg really knows how to get people up and dancing and will make sure to make your night a special one. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ!

Greg was absolutely amazing!! We first booked him pre-covid, because he came highly recommended from our venue. We unfortunately had to cancel because of covid. However, we were lucky to be able reschedule our wedding and even luckier to find out he was available and willing to come all the way to us at our new venue! My husband and I didn’t even know where to start with what type of music to pick, but Greg talked with us, went through the whole evening, and gave great suggestions and starting points on picking music for pre-ceremony, ceremony cocktail hour etc. He also wrote up a scheduled of the day from start to finish, which as a bride was SO SO helpful. Greg also took great candid shots through out the night, which was so nice to be able to see your wedding day after! He came to check on us throughout the night to make sure we were good and stayed on schedule. And our guests were literally dancing all night long!!!

Greg was amazing, from start to finish he was up front, concise and kind. His entire ethos revolves around my wife and I and he helped organize everything so we had our schedule down pat. It really REALLY helped with our 12 person wedding party, which was like wrangling cats. He worked with us on the music and LET ME TELL YOU he was so helpful and when we allowed him to do his thing, he just absolutely nailed it. We had our wedding at Hammond Castle and not only was he well acquainted, but even during a power outage from a nor’easter storm, he was prepared with a backup generator. He is seriously dedicated and incredible to talk to. He makes you feel like a million bucks and the most important people in the world.

Greg at Entertainment Concepts was hands down the perfect DJ at my wedding. We got married at the Briar Barn on 9/24/2021 and Greg was our DJ for the ceremony and reception. The time he spent before the wedding getting to know me and my husband did not go unnoticed. He spent time going through all my song requests and running through the whole wedding day with me so that I knew exactly how everything would unfold. He did such a good job reading the crowd and playing songs that kept people dancing all night. From the moment the dance floor open to the end of the wedding, people were dancing their butts off, which is exactly what I wanted! Greg is such a friendly, helpful guy and I was so lucky to have him at the wedding. He kept checking in with me to see if I needed a drink, food, anything. I couldn't have been happier to have him on my team on my wedding day. He is HIGHLY recommended.

From our first conversation we knew we were in great hands. Greg is very organized, detail oriented, friendly, patient, funny, and genuinely very kind. He clearly has a ton of wedding experience and knows exactly what to ask and do to make your day perfect. He was not only DJ extraordinaire, but helped MC and control the overall flow of our wedding which was perfect for us. My grandmother was our officiant and he checked in with her regarding mics and everything she needed to feel comfortable. He checked in with us numerous times during the wedding, even got me a cocktail when I was too busy to get to the bar! He is so comfortable and flexible with last minute changes, and has a great way of making you feel calm and not hesitant to reach out to him about anything. He even thought to take some photos during speeches and dancing, and actually took such a great candid shot right after we had walked down the aisle, it's my current Facebook profile photo! Do not hesitate to book him, rate is very reasonable and honestly he was the easiest and most knowledgeable vendor we used. My younger sister/MOH expressed "whenever I get married, I'm using your DJ for sure!!!"
