Ed and Jess were absolutely amazing! Choosing a photographer was one of the most stressful things for me because I knew that the pictures would last forever (and the marriage of course lol). I met with Ed once and he totally stood out from all of the others. I didn’t feel like I was just another appointment. He made me feel like I had already booked with him, and we were discussing many details specific to my wedding. Jess works so well with Ed, you can tell they have been doing this together for a while. Jess was like getting a second photographer, photographer’s assistant, and bride’s assistant all in one! I am happy to say that I made the right decision because the day went great, and the pictures are everything I wanted!

Ed and Jess are PHENOMENAL! The pictures they take are truly breathtaking. We just had our wedding on 10/13/18 and it was the most perfect day. From the beginning Ed caught our eye with his amazing photography skills! They did not disappoint on the day of the wedding! Everything went so smoothly. We took pictures at Jakes Branch Park in Beachwood and they were amazing. We ended up taking a lot of pictures on the playground and I don’t think anyone’s smile left their faces, we had so much fun!! Ed and Jess had us doing so many fun poses, it just felt so natural! They also really listen to what YOU want, and that’s what matters. They even displayed some of the pictures at the reception and I cried because they were so beautiful! I can’t wait to see the rest! Ed and Jess, Sam and I can’t thank you guys enough! You two are amazing and you really know how to capture the right moment. Thank you!

I am a few months past my wedding and am behind on writing my reviews but still have many things to say about the photographers we chose for our wedding. While my now huband and I were in the middle of our venue search, we saw a picture in one of the venue books for The Channel Club, which is where we got married, of a couple getting married in front of a beautiful sunset. The colors of the sky were captured so beautifully that I knew I wanted the company of whoever took that photo to be our wedding photographers. The company is called Ephemera Photographics. The Channel Club was having a wedding expo so we went to go meet the photographers and from the second we met Eddie, his super fun and down to earth personality really reeled us in! He is so laid back and it is just fun to be in his presence which really helps take the initial awkwardness away when it comes to having all the pictures taken of you. Eddie was willing to meet us at sunrise on the beach for our engagement photo shoot and took beautiful pictures of us and really captured all of the purples and reds of the sky. He came up with some awesome poses all while going along with whatever specific pictures I wanted as well. He is so great to be around that we were still just talking with him an hour after our photo shoot was done literally about anything and everything. Fast forward to our wedding day and he was just as amazing, as were his crew of his other photographers, that he brought with him. We chose to do a first look which Eddie and his crew made feel so special during. We took the photos with the wedding party and family before the wedding and my wedding party said how much of a blast they all had with him where everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves! It was so nice to have these photographers around that made us feel comfortable and definitely stress free, Jess was even like my buddy at the end of the night. We love our wedding pictures and really appreciate and thank everyone at Ephemera for all of their hard work.

Eddie and his team were absolutely amazing!! I could not have asked for a better photographer on my wedding day. Not only are they amazing at what they do they are very personable the day of. They have an eye for certain shots I would not have ever thought of. I can not wait to see my videos and pictures!!

I loved working with Ed and his assistant, Jess, for our wedding. My husband and I loved his work the minute we met him in his office to review his portfolio. The photography was one of my top priorities for my wedding, so I spent a lot of time contacting photographers and looking through their work. I wanted someone who could capture great candid photos without making it feel awkward and someone who could just provide us with the photos that we will cherish forever. Ed was definitely the right choice. He has been in the industry for a while, so he takes amazing photos, but without the cheesy special effects that I saw in some portfolios, where the filters make the photos look fake. He arrived right on time to be with me the morning of the wedding and his assistant went to the groom's house to take photos there. At the wedding, they captured great shots, but they were still inconspicuous. I barely even knew that they were there during the ceremony in my church. After the mass, we took group shots in the church. Ed took the shots while Jess quickly got the correct groups together and helped us to keep up with our timeline. I was nervous that my timeline was tight, but they are a great team, doing everything quickly and efficiently, but still creating an amazing final product. We took photos outside in Spring Lake after the mass and again, it was much easier and quicker than I had anticipated. We actually had time to get to the reception at the Sheraton in Eatontown before the end of the cocktail hour, which I had not expected. During the reception, Ed had a slideshow of photos from the ceremony and bridal party photos playing. The guests really liked that and although I didn't get to see many of those because I was enjoying the reception, my guests were raving about the quality of the photos. My aunt commented that she has never before seen better wedding photos. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled that we had Ed as our photographer and we would absolutely recommend him to any engaged couple that we know. He was also quick in getting photos to us, despite moving office locations right after our wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of Ephemera Photographics. It is well worth the money and compared to other photographers, his rates are absolutely fair and comparable.

Eddie was AMAZING. He was recommended to us by my brother's girlfriend whose family has hired Eddie for many weddings. Now my brother is engaged and they will be using him too! We took our engagement photos in Philadelphia last June and Eddie traveled there and took wonderful photos for us to use on our Save the Dates and Wedding Website, and of course hang in our home for years to come. On the day of the Wedding, Eddie & Jess were nothing short of outstanding. They were extremely professional, fun, helpful, and put all of our minds at ease! We had the BEST day with them. We just got our pictures back and I am honestly blown away!!! We could not have been happier with our choice in wedding photographer!

Ed is a dream to work with and has such a great eye! We love our engagement photos and wedding photos so much we plan on continuing to use Ed for future family portraits, etc.

Not only does Eddie take beautiful photos (and his assistant Jess) but he makes it so stress free and FUN. I'm not sure if Brides always take it to consideration the personality of their photographer and that they're going to be spending hours with them capturing them in there best moments. You want someone who can go with the flow and keep you happy and smiling. The pictures, well they speak for themselves. He's got a great eye for that beautiful shot. Nothing cookie cutter. Planning a wedding is quite the journey, and I was incredibly nervous about selecting a photographer for my wedding. When I met Eddie at a bridal show a year before my wedding, I immediately knew he was the photographer I had been dreaming of. He is down to earth, yet incredibly masterful of his craft. He truly cares about his customers, and not just in a superficial way either. He takes time to get to know you, understand your nuances, and your overall vision. Then he executes it phenomenally. A year later, Eddie and Jessie were our photographers for our wedding on 7/16/2017, and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. From early morning at our house to the very end of the night at the reception, they were supportive, thoughtful, and wonderfully creative. Eddie will lay himself on the floor, leap across boat docks, and more, in order to find the perfect angle or backdrop. His company is called Ephemera, and I understand why now. Just like a magnificent sunset, he captures those fleeting moments so that you can cherish them forever. I highly recommend him. Thank you Eddie, for being an amazing photographer and human being!

We initially found Ed through social media, when our venue posted one of his images. We knew then with one picture we needed him to shoot our wedding, and as it turns out he was a preferred vendor for our venue. Meeting him was the icing on the cake! Ed instantly welcomed us with opened arms and made us feel completely comfortable. Not only is Ed himself amazing, but his whole team is outstanding! They all have cool, calm, attitudes which is exactly what every bride and groom need on their wedding day. Everyone worked so well together getting every shot we wanted all before cocktail hour! Later in the evening, the team put together a slideshow of images that was shown during the reception for our guests. The day after our wedding, we were contacted by so many family and friends asking how we knew our photographers. This was because the relationship Ed and his team built with us made it seem like we’ve known eachother for years. We’ve also gotten SO MANY requests for copies of the pictures! There aren't enough words to describe their work. A completely wonderful experience that is unforgettable. Thank you Ed, Jess, Bill and Chris for not only shooting our special day but making us a part of your family, and you will always be a part of ours... Where to begin! Throughout all of the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, one of the most important pieces are the pictures! We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day! Edward Anastasio and Jessie Saker went so above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect, and really worked non stop to capture every moment. From the moment we met Eddie we knew he needed to be our photographer. He is so down to earth, and truly has such incredible talent that you can't find anywhere else. After the big day is over, after the honeymoon and all the well wishes are finished, what is left to remember the most important day of your life? THE PICTURES! Choosing a photographer was very important to me because of this very reason. When I booked my wedding at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, I couldn't stop looking at all of the pictures in their office. Most were done by Eddie Anastasio of Ephemera Photographics. I knew I needed to have his talent for our beautiful wedding. From the moment you start working with Eddie, you will understand that as a photographer he is unique and special. His talent is untouchable. He sees things like no one else can see them and then he captures that in a photo! I can only tell you this: if you want to have long lasting, beautiful memories for a lifetime that are totally unique and amazing, then you need to have Eddie from Ephemera as your photographer. On the day of my wedding, Eddie and Jess were absolutely marvelous! They were invaluable to our special day. Jess spent her whole day fixing me, making sure I looked beautiful, and keeping my 5 flower girls in place haha. She also got ALL of the family pictures that we wanted done in quick record time, it was amazing how she was so organized! I can never ever thank Eddie and Jess of Ephemera enough. Our photographer (and also owner of Ephemera), Ed, was full of personality. We felt that we had the best experience that we could possibly have had with our photographer because he was really enjoying what he did. Ed has a very creative mind that you cannot get somewhere else and he will go to any lengths to get that perfect picture. Ed went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Ed even helped us with deciding the flow of events on the day of the wedding. By trusting his expertise, we saved time on the wedding day so we could spend more time enjoying ourselves and enjoying our day. The quality of the images that we received were top notch. Ed puts a creative twist on his photos that I have not seen at any other wedding photographer during our search. We are so happy we chose Eddie as our wedding photographer! From our engagement shoot to our actual wedding day Eddie, Kathy, and Jess were amazing to work with. Eddie truly has an artist's eye, plus he will keep you laughing all day long! My brother, Eric, has downs syndrome and loves photography so Eddie guided and encouraged him throughout the night- it was so sweet and Eric had a blast. In addition, Jess not only assisted with the picture taking, but she continuously fixed my dress and ensured us that the shots looked amazing (which they did!!). Eddie even used his new drone throughout the day to get some very unique ariel shots. It was so cool! When Eddie posted some of his photos during the reception, my guests were all speechless. He did a phenomenal job!! I cannot wait to put together my album with Eddie and I will recommend him, hands down, to anyone who is looking for an outstanding photographer. Let me start off by saying I am by no means the typical bride. My fiancé wanted a big wedding in a ballroom and I would have preferred something tiny with immediate family only or just to elope! I met Ed from Ephemera in a friends wedding a few years ago and loved him immediately. This is a man who rolls in a puddle to get the perfect shot, sees things others really don't, tries to exceed your expectations of anything you can possibly imagine AND helps you button the back of your dress if you need help. Normally having a crew hanging out in my suite would be super awkward for me. I'm not a fan of attention. But Ed and Jess were like casual friends of ours and after this year and a half of planning and different meetings with them (and engagement photos) I can't believe its all over, I'll miss them! Due to unforeseen circumstances we weren't able to do a first look in the spot I had chosen...truthfully it wasn't such a huge deal to me that I was going to get upset about it and complain but Ed did it for me because he saw my vision and wanted it to happen. Well he certainly made things happen for me and found other more amazing spots for us to take pictures and they were even better than the ones I envisioned. Jess felt like a wedding planner to me she always made sure my dress and hair were on point, that our poses were flattering and they weren't cheesy, at all, because I can't keep a straight face doing something I'm not comfortable with and they totally got that. I sent them some pictures from Pinterest that I liked and they made every one if them happen. At the reception they showed a slide show of some of the photos taken from the day on the gift table near our sweetheart table and our guests were blown away with the shots. A few newlyweds even told me that they wished they had hired Ephemera because they couldn't even believe the amazing shots they took. I could go on all day about them but all I need anyone to take away from this is that if you don't hire them you are making a mistake, they are affordable (which is amazing), talented and dedicated people and they will make sure everything you want and need on your wedding day happens and they even help entertain you and your guests. Two of the greatest people I've ever met.

We chose Ephemera for our engagement and wedding photos and could not have been happier with our choice! My husband and I love all the photos from both of these shoots. Eddie makes it hard to find one favorite picture. We were married in Point Pleasant on 10/3/15 in the middle of Hurricane Joaquin, but bad weather did not interfere with any of our pictures. Eddie and Jessie were amazing and followed my husband and I all over the boardwalk and beach despite the wind and rain. While I was originally worried we would not get the photos I always dreamed of I was immediately proved wrong. Eddie has a way of finding light to create magical shots. My husband and I had a blast playing in the storm! During the wedding, Eddie and Jessie were able to capture all the emotions from our friends and family throughout the ceremony and reception. I was surprised when I realized a slideshow station was set up at the venue for all of our guests to preview some of the pictures taken that day. We would recommend Ephemera to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their special moments. I know we plan to use Eddie and his team again in the future for capturing more family memories!

We hired them to work our August 1st wedding at the Channel Club after seeing their incredible work at a bridal show, and hung up in the office of our venue. After one meeting with Eddie and Kathy, we were sold. They are the nicest, most down to earth people you will ever meet. The artistic eye and creativity Eddie has is second to none. The shots he comes up with are absolutely breathtaking. His directions are super easy to follow. He keeps the mood cool and loose, especially on the most busy and chaotic of days. He had the utmost patience dealing with our bridal parties and families during the photos, which we were extremely appreciative of. Eddie knew our venue inside and out, and took us to some of the most incredible spots to catch amazing shots. We cannot wait to see how the photos came out! What can we say about Eddy and his team that hasn't already been said?! He is truly a master of his craft, which is so refreshing in an age where kids pick up expensive cameras and call themselves photographers. We discovered him through a piece of his work that was hanging in the sales office at our venue, The English Manor in Ocean Township, NJ. We saw the photo and said to each other, "Whoever took that photo HAS to do our photos." To our surprise, not only is his work exceptional, but him, his wife, and co-photographer Jess are AWESOME PEOPLE TO HANG OUT WITH! They made being photographed very easy and truly captured the essence of all the special moments we shared. We met with him for an engagement session in Asbury Park, which really set us at ease in knowing that we made the perfect choice. The day of the wedding, Eddy and Jess were so great to work with. They got so excited about the shots they were taking, how great we looked together, and how amazing everything was going. They are adaptable, attentive to requests, and their love of photography really comes out as you spend time with them. Oh, and Jess is awesome at pinning boutineer, fixing a veil, adjusting a train, or bustling a dress. Anything you need to make your day smooth and your pictures to come out great, they will do! Overall, my wife and I couldn't be happier with our choice in Ephemera and the professionalism of Eddy and his amazing team. We have found our photographer for LIFE!

Ed and Bill absolutely made our day! They were both down to earth and really part of our wedding. I got ready over 50 miles from the venue and bill met me and the girls in the morning and stayed with us all day. Ed was with the guys and fit right in with their sarcastic jokes back and forth. We took our pictures before the ceremony and reception to allow us more time with our guests. At the reception they put the pictures on a TV screen for our guests to see how our day went. Even in edited they were gorgeous! We left on or honeymoon 3 days after the wedding and were eager to see some shots before leaving... Ed made this happen and I was pleasantly surprised to see some unedited absolutely amazing pictures! I would highly recommend ephemera. They have do quality work for a reasonable price.

Eddie, Kathy, and Jess were all so amazing! From day 1 working with Eddie he was awesome - he took the time to explain everything to me and help me through the process of what to expect. When we did our engagement shoot with him and Kathy they were so down to earth and the photos came out beautiful. We didn't want too many formal posed pictures - we wanted more style and "in the moment" and they were able to capture it all. On our wedding day, they were patient and very flexible. All of them were truly a class act and the photos that I did see were breathtaking. I gave them a shot list and I think literally every single shot (there were a ton!) was captured from family photos to bridal party to our dog who was our ring bearer! I would recommend Eddie and his crew to anyone - they made our wedding day so amazing and captured memories that will last a lifetime.

We got married 12/28/14 and used Eddie. He was a rockstar and just has the ability to make us feel so relaxed and beautiful when taking pictures. I had issues with the alteration department and kind of hated my dress. However, Eddie and his crew made me feel gorgeous on my big day by their kind words, professionalism and encouragement. We had a shy 4 year old flower girl and Eddie was able to make her feel at ease. She also got nervous during the ceremony and didn't get a chance to throw her flowers. Eddie gave her another opportunity, by taking pictures of her throwing petals long after the ceremony and this helped her to feel better. He is very artistic and came up with great ideas for photo shots. All of our guests loved him and gave him rave reviews.

We came across Eddie and his wife Kathy at a friend's wedding about a month after we got engaged and what caught our attention first were the amazing pictures from earlier in the day that he displayed at their reception! Eddie and Kathy are first and foremost amazing people! From our first meeting with them, to our engagement session, to the wedding we had so much fun with them, and I could tell Eddie was really excited about shooting at the Cathedral we were getting married at! On top of being amazing people, they take stunning pictures! We spent hours with them for our engagement session, wandering around looking for interesting spots to take pictures - there was no 60 minute time limit, no limit on the number of pictures - it was totally go with the flow and resulted in awesome pictures! Our wedding day went by flawlessly, in part because of them. They helped lace me into my dress, fixed the guys' pocket squares, corralled the group, and most importantly took unreal pictures! Our family and friends are stunned by how amazing the pictures came out and how quickly we got the disc with everything. Eddie and Kathy captured every special moment, every formal family portrait, unreal wedding party scenes, and hilarious reception dancing! If you want a photographer that knows what he's doing, is down to earth, cares about you having a successful day, and will give you stunning photos to cherish forever - Eddie and Kathy are the way to go! Eddie and his wife were amazing!! They are so talented and artistic. Everyone has been complimenting our photos. He really captured the day of our wedding and we could not have been happier! They were so laid back yet extremely professional. We had such a great time during our photo shoot and the day of the wedding. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!

Guests who didn't even come to the wedding rave about how creative and beautiful my pictures are. Eddie was great at handling fidgety bridesmaids and did anything he had to to get the shot. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Eddie and his wife Kathy are the best! We used them for our wedding a few weeks ago and they are great. They take the best pictures and come up with photo ideas you never could have thought of. We got the pictures back so quick and had so many to go through. He captured the night so well, it's like we get to re-live it over and over again!

Eddie and his wife Kathy shot our wedding on June 7th and did an outstanding job! They are truly pros! It was pouring the entire day so we used our backup plan and took the photos at Monmouth University. Eddie and Kathy had us take some really cool photos which came out so great. Our photos are so much more unique than the typical ones you see. Eddie put the photos up at the reception and they were a big hit! Everyone loved seeing the pictures from the ceremony right away. Eddie & Kathy were such a pleasure to work with!

We had an awesome experience working with Eddie Anastasio and his wife Kathy. From the first time we met him, we knew Eddie was truly passionate about what he does. That passion comes through in his photographs. Eddie really knows how to capture the moment. For both our engagement shoot and wedding, he took pictures that we never could have imagined. He showed some of our wedding pictures on a laptop the night of our wedding, and I can’t tell you how many compliments we received. He truly has a gift. In addition to being talented, both he and his wife are two of the most genuine people you will ever come across. Brides, look no further!

All I can say is that Eddie and Kathy are the BEST!!! I am a complete picture phobe, I never let anyone take my picture, not even friends or family on special occasions. But of course I knoew that on my wedding day there would be no way out of it. Eddie put me at complete ease and never made me feel uncomfortable. Of course we had to take a few posed pictures but most of the shots were of my family, bridal party and I having fun and hanging out. Some of my favorite shots are of when the people didn;t even know they were being photographed. They show the smiles on everyones faces and the real feel of the day rather than the posed smiles that you get when people are trying to look acertain way. Eddie took over 1100 photos on our wedding day and I can;t wait to sit down and go through each one and chose photos for our album. Thank you so much Eddie and Kathy for making my wedding day so much fun and stress free.

I feel like I could write this review a million different ways and it still wouldn't be enough! His work speaks for itself and we are now 2 months from our wedding and still getting compliments about the pictures. Ed and Kathy were so welcoming and amazing to work with. Ed has an ability to see things that my husband and I could have never envisioned. During the reception he has pictures from the ceremony and the pre-ceremony scrolling on the laptop so that people who missed the ceremony can see! That was a huge hit-- especially because people get to see what his work is like. They took so many pictures it took us two days to go through them all. Ed and Kathy make you feel like friends throughout the whole process making it that much easier to work with them. I think if you are debating between Ephemera and anyone else meet with Ed and you'll never regret your decision.
