run smoothly. As for the dance floor, our friends said it was their favorite ever! Al made the night so much fun, and we'd recommend him to anyone.

m and would recommend him for your next party.

music was awesome and loud.  The disco lights were also amazing.  Our family and friends partied all night long.  It was a wedding of a lifetime and we will use Al again and again.  If you choose Al, you will be extremely HAPPY!!!!!  Thank you AL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

understand our vision and curated the perfect playlist for our crowd. The energy he brought to the dance floor was incredible, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! If you want a wedding that’s full of life and great music, we can’t recommend Al enough. Thank you, Al, for bringing the party!

we have made a life long friend also!

l, and communicative, making sure every detail was taken care of. He has this great timeline document that helps you layout your day so smoothly and when my husband and I were stuck on where/how to start he met up with us and helped us finish out the planning. He even coordinated with our wedding planner to discuss concerns about our ceremony location and his setup and had a solve before he even brought it to us which as a bride planning a wedding you can appreciate this! He did a sound check with our officiant to ensure the ceremony went off without a hitch. On the big day and before, Al was professional, friendly, and just such a joy to work with. The reception was incredible—he kept the dance floor packed and the energy high all night long! Every song was perfectly timed and the transitions were seamless. He is not like one of those DJs who tries to be an on air radio personality cracking jokes or making the experience about him and his skill. He is truly there to make the day and dance floor about you and your loved ones and that was one of the  reasons after our initial call that we went with Al. We had been to a few weddings where the DJs made it about them and Al assured us that was not his style.  If you’re looking for a wedding DJ in the Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, or Raleigh area, we couldn’t recommend Al more highly. He truly made our day unforgettable! I am sure I left out other glowing remarks about Al but these are the ones that stuck out to me! Al, thank you for everything you have done for my husband and I and making our wedding truly special!

usic is such a big part of any wedding, and Al worked closely with me to make sure every detail was perfect. From the aisle songs to our first dance, the cocktail hour, and the reception, he made everything flow beautifully. He stayed on top of every moment and kept the energy just right. I absolutely loved working with him. Not only was he my DJ, but he also became a friend. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for a DJ for their special event!

get in touch with. We couldn’t have picked anyone better for our wedding! 1000/10 would recommend!!

rganized and thorough, which gave us so much peace of mind and he is so easy to trust. He is truly great at what he does, and all of our guests had a blast dancing all night long with the fantastic music he played and great energy he brought! We are so glad we chose Al as our wedding DJ, and cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Al, you rock!

meline for us and worked so well with the other vendors, he’s extremely organized. The music he played was catered to us and it was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. We love Al!!

ut the entire planning process and would check on us, showing that he genuinely cared how we were doing. He was also okay with our last-minute requests. We would recommend him to everyone!

ork with, and the music selection was perfect. He lets you pick what songs you would like and has a list of options as well. He kept the energy high all night long and ensured everyone had a blast. By the end of it Al will not just be a vendor for your wedding he will be your friend! We can't recommend him enough!"

With a month before our wedding date, we found a new venue in Chapel Hill and Al was one of the first vendors we booked. He went above and beyond to help us during that incredibly stressful time, and made the process so incredibly easy. The reception went wonderfully and we've had numerous compliments about how awesome our DJ was. Al is also one of the nicest people and a joy to work with!

communication is amazing. He is also a genuinely great person. We could not recommend him enough.

eper level. We are so grateful to have found someone like Al! He helped our wedding flow perfectly, and he made sure he understood all our wants and needs. Our wedding was the BEST day of our lives and Al played a huge role in that. Our guests had so much fun and no one wanted the party and dancing to stop!! We cannot say enough great things about Al and his work!

and give advice on what we should do and when. The day of the wedding, Al was a key part of making our reception special. He was all set up when we arrived from our off-site ceremony and was on top of everything throughout the night. He was great at reading the crowd and always kept the dance floor moving. He went above and beyond by checking on us during dinner and letting us “guest DJ” during our reception. We cannot recommend Al enough.

ish I could go to more weddings with him working but he was phenomenal!

othly. In the weeks leading up, he contacted all of our vendors for us. During our wedding day, we did not have a photographer and he nicely took some videos of our special moments for us to have. He killed it with the MC and music. He gave suggestions on songs prior to the event. He celebrates your marriage leading up with a “_ days to go!” text and even after, “happy one week!” I didn’t have a worry in the world with Al as our DJ.

ride/Groom) throughout the night to assure we were always taken care of. Al’s passion for what he does is clear and his approach/planning process is set up perfectly to assure a smooth and customized experience.

ndations for flow/timeline/extra things/ etc were great. My husband and I were very impressed with how he was able to read the crowd during dancing at our reception. 10/10 recommend booking Al!

ay. We never had to worry with Al! Really awesome genuine person and we send our highest recommendations!

ot compliments all night on our DJ and music and had so many friends and family members dancing all night. Al was also so thoughtful and connected us to other vendors in the area. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone in the Triangle.

recommendations and check in on how we were doing in the planning process overall. I am VERY selective when working with vendors and I literally have no complaints at all regarding the amazing service we received. And most of all, our guests had a great time at our wedding. We received so many compliments regarding the music, having requests played and just the overall vibe of the event. I promise that you will be beyond happy working with Al, so make sure to scoop him up asap!

excellent communication skills, and desiring to do everything he can to make the wedding perfect!! The music choices were awesome and the guests were having such a great time on the dance floor, they didn’t want it to end! If anyone is in need of a DJ, you won’t be disappointed in Al!! He was beyond amazing!

he was! Al went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars!!!

match our personalities exactly and helped create the best dance party ever for our wedding! You should definitely consider booking him for your next event - you will be incredibly happy.

ng DJ, but we are so grateful we chose Al. Al is very organized, and he communicated well with us from the day we met him. He met with us early on in the process to get a sense of our general preferences, and as the big day got closer he helped us plan the music and the timeline in more detail. He showed up early the day of and was 100% prepared. So many of our family members that we didn’t expect to dance at all stayed on the dance floor for so long, and we think Al was a huge part of that! Al consistently goes above and beyond, and he would be an excellent DJ for any event!

uly cares about making your wedding day special and everything you want it to be! He takes the time and initiative to get to know you and your partner personally and understand the vibe you want for your big day. In our experience, Al went above and beyond helping us with wedding related things that had nothing to do with music/DJ-ing— and that’s Al for ya! Someone who REALLY cares about you and your day and wants to alleviate any stressor you might have so you can enjoy this special time in your life. We cannot recommend Al enough!!!

with, and did a phenomenal job ensuring our wedding day was exactly what we envisioned! Al made a point to check in leading up to the wedding which we really appreciated. We truly felt so reassured after every encounter with Al that we landed the best DJ! Al was on time and prepared. The volume and sound was perfect and the lighting was great! Al even saved the day by having an extra speaker for a video we had to share with our guests. We highly recommend Al with Epic DJ Apex for any event!

ride and grooms tastes, reading the crowd, providing energy - all things Al succeeded at with flying colors!

y along with our guest. Our guest danced the night away. Al has many years of experience and is truly a selfless person. No other DJ compares to him. We would hire Al again and again!

about what he does and very responsive. Highly recommend!!!

ail (from ceremony music, reception walk in music, dinner music, dance music, etc) is unparalleled. It really took a ton of stress and worry away from our planning when we realized how thorough Al is. I can't recommend him enough. Al went above and beyond to contact our friends to find if we had other music that was important to us that we forgot, he coordinated with all of our vendors on his own schedule, and the actual party itself was terrific. Our dance floor was moving all night, the only unfortunate part was that our venue had an 11pm curfew!

usic for all parts of the reception including cocktails, dinner and dancing. He had answers before I even had questions. He made everything very easy for us, which is a big help when planning a wedding, I couldn’t be more grateful. He really kept the party going!! I had nothing but great feedback from our guests. Thanks Al!

ecause it’s a passion. You’ll realize that in the first 30 minutes of talking to him. He really cares about satisfying his customers and the loved ones of his customers. He deeply cares about the playlists you listen to. The must-have song requests, name pronunciation in announcements, all the details that I would have brushed over. Al also comes with drafts/starting points, trendy ideas, and unique thoughts. Al offers a framework to get you thinking about song/music choices and does it in a way where no pressure is felt. For example, he helped me see what it would take to make a money dance effective & worth it. Al dealt with day of changes. He actually dealt with last minute changes and flawlessly executes to plan. Seconds before I had my father daughter dance, I made a change and he pivoted without stress or any problem. Al also asks all the right questions and raises risks around decisions— which I fully valued because some of my ideas (in retrospect) would have been a flop! He’s simply the best, and I already told him I wanted to hire him again for vow renewals when the time comes.

prepared. Since he had worked at our venue before, he even had some unique ideas to add to our special day. He was even able to accommodate us during our outdoor ceremony when it started raining ensuring that we still had great music and weren't walking down the aisle in silence. He was extremely good at communicating and was able to do both in person and phone call meetings. He catered our music to our tastes but still played a good variety to attract all ages of wedding guests. Guests also got a hoot out of his additional sound bites to add humor to speeches. We were incredibly grateful for Al's addition to our wedding and would recommend him to anyone interested in having a supportive, involved, exciting, and accommodating DJ at their special day.

clients. He truly listens to what you want to play, offers creative suggestions, and the day of the event went so smoothly!

a great job both catering to us and reading the crowd to get a TON of people dancing. He also did a great job providing mics and sound equipment for the ceremony and reception. Super reliable and communicative during the whole planning process.

specifically for us. He met us for drinks to talk through everything! He communicates regularly throughout the planning process and even gave suggestions for other vendors such as Groomsmen suits! He periodically checked in to see how we were doing, aside from just wedding day plans. He truly cared about us as his friends! He communicated with vendors, checked to make sure timelines were what we imagined, gave suggestions, etc. When the wedding day rolled around he was incredible! He went above and beyond his role as our DJ. He brought us drinks at dinner, checked in on us, added VERY unique and fun touches to the reception, and really read the rooms vibe so he would know what to play. I have had so many guests tell me, even weeks later, how much they loved DJ Al! ❤️I have already had one of my guests suggest him to a friend because she loves him so much. Our wedding reception was truly a PARTY! Al kept our dance floor FULL the entire night. He is incredible at what he does and really knows how to keep a party going! Al took so many of the stressors off our back and was incredible. He’s amazing to work with and anybody would be lucky to have him at their wedding! On top of everything- he chooses a charity that a portion of his profits go to from each wedding. He truly loves to give back and love others through his work. Thanks for everything, Al!
