Garrett was the best DJ of any wedding I’ve ever been to and thankfully it was my wedding!! He spoke with his several times before our big day to make sure he had all the details of the evening in order. Every. Single. Song. I wanted to be played at a certain time was completed and executed flawlessly. We never felt rushed or out of the loop. He would come up to us prior to any speech or dance to make sure we were updated and ready. His speakers and setup was classy and his light display made the dance floor totally pop! He was exceptional at reading the crowd and playing songs that would keep the dance floor alive ALL night long!! He even played an extra hour because our guests didn’t want to stop dancing! Garrett, thank you for making our day perfect. We will never forget how special you made it for us!

We both know that every decision for your wedding is difficult, but choosing Epic Sounds DJ's is a no brainer. Garrett was extremely organized and walks through your special day with you both 2-3 times prior to the day happening. It was perfect to have a DJ so organized, that all you had to do was show up and everything runs smoothly. From music, to special dances, to overall being a great MC, the night ran perfectly and on time. Garrett was even able to get my 86 year old grandmother up on the dance floor! As the bride and groom, you tend to be too busy to remember small details, but all of our family and friends told us during and after the party that the DJ was a huge hit and did an amazing job! One of the best wedding vendors I was able to book. Garrett was everything someone would expect a wedding DJ to be and more. He did a great job prior to the wedding making sure he had our wedding day vision in mind. He spoke to us and asked us questions to really get a plan in place. He arrived early and all of his set up was seamless as he had already spoken to both my venue and photographer to make sure everyone's timeline were in sync. Once the music started, our guests were drawn in by the music selection and seamless transitions from dinner, to specialty dances, to random entertainment. He honored all of my requests and made and completed my fairytale wedding with the perfect soundtrack. I cannot recommend Epic Sounds enough. If you are not booking with Garret, I can't guarantee a DJ that is committed to making your wedding as perfect as mine.

Garrett went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted and more for our big day. Not only did he play an excellent variety of music, he maintained constant communication in the months leading up to the wedding. He was flexible and kept guests of all ages on the dance floor all night long! I was truly impressed with him and the quality of his customer service. Garrett answered every question and concern I had leading up to the wedding. He even helped us set up a timeline for the reception. On the day of he showed up several hours early to make sure everything was set up perfectly. He played every song we asked and took requests from our guests. He did a great job making sure the party kept going. Garrett is a great DJ and I am so happy we chose him for our wedding!

Garrett is absolutely the best. While this is his job, he makes you feel like he's your friend. From start to finish he made us feel extremely comfortable. He played GREAT music and provided an atmosphere that made EVERYONE get up and dance. I've been in a billion weddings and most of the DJs seem fake or they don't want to be there. You can tell Garrett truly loves what he does! 10/10 I would absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Garrett was amazing!

I hired Garrett as the DJ for two of my closest friends, Darian and Seth’s, wedding. He was flexible with change, super personable, early to the venue and very friendly. He made all of the guest feel welcome and laugh the whole night. Despite the 35 degree weather and many cold bodies(due to failed heaters), he had almost everyone out on the dance floor; because the music was THAT good. He was by far the best DJ any of us have ever seen. I will definitely be booking him for more events in the future. Thank you Garrett for making their day so magical!

Garrett did such a phenomenal job at our wedding 2 days ago! We were so impressed by his ability to change things at the last minute and make it perfect! The music was great and Garrett's energy and personality made it even better! My husband and I had multiple people come up to us saying how Garrett was the best DJ they've seen at any wedding, which is saying a lot since we've been to about 7 weddings this past year. Garrett the owner of Epic Sounds did a fantastic job. He was very organized, efficient, and did a great job picking songs for our wedding. I gave him little direction on what we wanted played and he played the perfect dancing songs and was able to keep the dance floor going the whole night......not one time was there No One on the dance floor. Garrett really knows what he is doing and very flexible, perfect DJ to work with.

From the very beginning, Garrett Hill with Epic Sounds STL stood out from all the other DJ's we considered hiring for our wedding reception. I have quite a bit of event planning under my belt, and can honestly say Garrett covered more in the contract and song list prompts than we ever thought to ask. If we had a question, he was quick to respond; and he even scheduled an over-the-phone consult to make sure we were on the same page. Our guest list had 3 generations who listen to country, pop, and classic rock. Garrett accommodated EVERYONE and we had compliments on the music all night. Did everything go perfectly at our reception? Of course not - it's a wedding! But Garrett rolled with us to make it run seamlessly so we could enjoy our day with our guests. If you're looking for someone professional, experienced, easy-going, and just flat-out fun, we highly recommend Garrett as a go-to.
