Epic Thyme

ty-gritty work and let us concentrate on the fun part of the planning process. They really know the local Reno/Tahoe vendors and businesses; we couldn't go wrong with any of their suggestions. Both Jessi and Monique were also incredibly invested in our planning. For example, when we were looking for double happiness signs, Monique scoured the sites for high quality signs that didn't cost an arm and a leg to ship. We really got to know each other and they were able to plan out exactly what we were looking for. As for the day of the wedding: flawless. The Epic Thyme team had everything organized and decorated before we even showed up. The only thing we had to do was show up and soak in the moment. There were no last minute stressors or anything to worry about. While weekly meetings leading up to the wedding sounded excessive at first, Jessi and Monique took the time to assure us that the wedding would be fantastic. Going into the wedding, we knew everything would be taken care of. We could not have asked for a better wedding!

us land every little detail we never would have thought of or been capable of on our own. Their communication, support, expertise, and positivity through every step of the process was unmatched. We will sing their praises forever - don't miss out on the best wedding process possible with Epic Thyme!

Valley Stables in Tahoe. She was there setting up for a wedding and took a few minutes to chat with us. We loved her energy right away, her positivity, professionalism, and easy-going attitude. Hiring Epic Thyme was the easiest decision. From the moment we began working together, Christi, Monique and their team were perfect. They listened and heard when we described the wedding we envisioned, one that blended cultures and traditions and included children. Nothing seemed to throw them - they just magically they made it happen. They helped us choose vendors who would reflect our style and expectations. They were generous with their time and energy, extremely organized with budgets, communication, and timelines, and creative with vision boards to help us see all the parts and pieces put together. We worked together as a team beautifully and knew we could trust their choices and decisions 100%. Christi and Monique are joyful and energetic, and they seem to love the party planning process. When problems arose (and they naturally do), they were reassuring and relaxed, just figured out a solution without drama. A few months before our rehearsal dinner, when we foolishly thought we could plan and host the event ourselves - and realized we couldn’t - they jumped in and seamlessly took over, so the rest of us could relax and enjoy the entire weekend of events. We have already recommended Epic Thyme to friends with weddings in the future, and we will continue to sing their praises! And, we would hire them again in a heartbeat! So happy we chose to work with you, Christi and Monique! The only negative is the planning process is over and we miss you!

s with was so incredible. And their design taste could not have been better. With top notch budgeting skills. Thank you so very much Epic. We love you and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

oughout our wedding planning process. From day one we felt listened to and supported during this wonderful time in our lives. I am a type A person and I had full trust in the Epic Thyme team the weekend of the wedding and was able to relax and enjoy our day. Fully knowing the team knew what decisions we would make and how we imagined our day. Our friends and family were absolutely blown away by every detail and aspect of the weekend. Epic thyme has a flat rate discussed about prior to signing a contract. This transparency and ease of know what we were going to pay for was wonderful. Additionally, their team could not be more kind, consistent, considerate, intuitive, and thoughtful in every aspect of planning. From navigating family dynamics to the color of linens and everything in between we had full confidence in them. They handled vendor communication professionally and with great ease. Guided us through what decision was best for us and encouraged us to enjoy this season. Truly an epic team. All I can say is look no further. Hop on a call with the team and your hesitancy will vanish. I can not speak highly enough about this incredible team. They really had our best interest at heart and felt like family. We can not wait to work with them again for our 10 year anniversary vow renewal party :)

Epic Thyme did it all - they are amazing at designing a wedding that fits your vibe and budget (down to the tiniest details), project/vendor manage-ing the planning and day-of execution of realizing that vibe, and considering your and your guests’ experience throughout the day so the wedding goes off without a hitch. They’re professional, structured, highly communicative, and on top of all of that, they’re the most fun!! They’ll be the first person at the venue the day of the wedding (and the day before!), and the last to leave, and they brought so much positive energy, good vibes and smiles on the wedding day and the 9+ months in planning! The team really goes above and beyond for their clients, and we’re so immensely thankful we had the chance to work with them to plan the party of a lifetime.

ti we knew she was a great fit for us. She exudes a perfect blend of professionalism, knowledge, confidence and chill that worked so well for us in planning our wedding! We hired Epic Thyme for the full wedding planning service, and they knew exactly what we needed within the first 1-2 meetings. They use Aisle Planner for planning, which was a great resource for checklists/deadlines, and also have plenty of their own pages including templates for song selection, ceremony processional, discount codes, etc. So much accumulated knowledge! Along the way, Christi and team always made us feel confident, no matter the curveballs that were thrown our way. During the course of planning, we changed the location and date of our wedding, while also having Epic Thyme expand to add more members to the team, and Christi just *handled* it like it wasn't even a thing. I seriously don't even understand how she manages to squeeze more than 24 hours out of a day; truly unlimited energy! Leading up the wedding, our meetings increased in frequency which was perfect for all the last-minute details. Epic Thyme handled so many things here, including signage, ceremony and reception timelines, and meeting with vendors separately to make sure everyone is on the same page. We truly felt like we were in great hands the entire time, and Epic Thyme knew exactly what to do to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch! The wedding day itself was seamless; if anything went wrong, we didn't notice it or hear about it! Christi and Danni were so great about keeping to the timeline, making sure we (and vendors) knew where to be and when, and made it so easy for us to enjoy our wedding and be mindful and present the entire day! Everything was so beautiful and it was truly the perfect weekend. Long story short, Christi, Monique, Danni, and crew were the absolute best choice for our wedding. By the end, they felt like family and I'm so bummed that we don't have our wedding meetings anymore! Seeing the business grow as we were clients was so fun, and we have all the confidence in the world that Epic Thyme will keep pulling off AMAZING weddings and reach truly stratospheric levels. If you have a wedding in the Tahoe (or extended) area, EPIC THYME is the planner service you need! Don't hesitate, just meet with them and you'll see! Huge thanks to Christi + team! Love you all so much and loved our amazing Tahoe wedding!

orced to redo virtually everything from scratch. We went from a warm lake wedding to a cold and snowy wedding. Basically, the wedding planners had to schedule 2 weddings for us but only charged us for 1! You won't find a nicer more professional group than Epic Thyme.

y much being in control yet so friendly you want to be friends in real life after your wedding is over. Her work ethic is superb. I was so impressed with her clearly ideating on her toes and then executing on some of our last minute day of changes that arose. The details! My gosh. She thought of EVERYTHING. I was a floating princess with not a care in the world this past weekend. Her 10 years of experience is evident in every part of the process through the day. I can’t say enough about her and her team. Shout outs to Danni, Bailey, and Monique. Thank you again for making our day perfect!

near and far for different wedding venues in California. I had a particular vision in mind and was having trouble finding a venue that would deliver what I wanted. I then somehow stumbled on the Epic Thyme Instagram and there it was. My perfect venue =Basecamp Tahoe South. Outdoors, woodsy, laid back but still elevated, romantic, and easily accessible to out of town travelers. After finding Basecamp I knew we owed Epic Thyme a call since it was her Instagram to lead us to this awesome find. During our initial call with Christi it was truly love at first sight. Christi was so lovely, she is the perfect balance of professional and knowledgeable but also endearing and laid back. Having all of Epic Thyme's knowledge at our fingertips led us to having so much more than we would have been able to imagine on our own. Who knew you could hire a dog handler who specialized in weddings! Christi did! Who knew you could find a videographer that only shoots footage and doesn't edit! Christi did! Their fee's nearly paid for themselves if you factor in all the negotiation Christi did with our vendors. On top of that, we knew we would have the best team of vendors because Christi had worked with them in the past and knew which vendors best suited our style, venue and budget. I am a very organized person however sometimes get overwhelmed in situations of stress. Having Christi and team fully enabled me to enjoy not only the day of the wedding but the whole planning process. By the end, Epic Thyme felt like part of the fam. Thank you so much for being a part of this special moment and making it more than I could have ever planned on my own. We are really grateful to you!

a spectacular wedding. From your design consults, to helping dial in the details, you helped through every step of the way. EVEN going as far as finding my Grandmothers gold wedding band that fell off my finger during our photos...in the most difficult place to locate it!! We appreciate you and everything you did to make our wedding everything we wanted and more.

huge part in making the weekend so incredibly special. From the beginning, Christi was organized, enthusiastic, and willing to be available whenever we needed her. My daughter-in-law is very organized and appreciated working with people who provided her with a calm, professional approach to ensuring all items would be covered for the big day. On their wedding day (and even for our Friday night welcome party), Christi and Monique were on top of coordinating every detail. They transformed the wedding venue into a magical setting that was enjoyed by all! So many compliments were received from our guests throughout the night. Christie and Monique gracefully guided all parties involved to ensure every duty was carried out to perfection. The bride and groom were able to fully enjoy their time with family and friends without any worries or concerns. It was a memorable weekend for all of us! A mother hopes for her children to have the wedding of their dreams. I know that my son and daughter-in-law truly had their dream wedding thanks to Christi and Epic Thyme!! They were more than wedding planners; they were caring, thoughtful and felt like family in the end. Christi and the Epic Thyme team believe in a true love story and make it happen!

and that truly would not have happened without them. First, the decor. You know when you go to the hairdresser with a picture of a celebrity and ask for your hair to look exactly like theirs, only to realize it never does? I never imagined that Christi would be able to bring our inspiration photos to life, EXACTLY how we imagined them to be, but she did! The entire process of working with Epic Thyme was great. We genuinely enjoyed our planning sessions each week and trusted that they had everything under control. My husband and I were both very busy with work leading up to the wedding so without their help, we aren't sure what we would have done. While there really were no hiccups throughout the wedding weekend, when little things did come up, Epic Thyme handled everything with ease. The hotel we all stayed at was supposed to keep their bar open for our guests after the welcome dinner, but they closed early. Christi and Monique found a bar a few blocks away before the dinner was over and had a spot reserved for our guests in no time. Epic Thyme truly handled everything for us. They found us incredible vendors, handled all the coordination, helped us put together welcome bags, and managed everything during the weekend so we could spend time with our guests. We cannot thank Epic Thyme enough for making our weekend the most special. Not only were they the most incredible wedding planners, but we now see them as our friends too. We were honored to close out the evening with a final cheers at 3:30am with the best team :) THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!

her in 2020 (our wedding finally happened in 2022), she built a team and they are all incredible to work with. I always looked forward to our planning calls and she listened to every dream I had, reeled me in when I needed it, and was taking care of minor speed bumps up until the very last minute. Epic Thyme goes above and beyond for their clients and other local vendors attested to their quality of work to me as well. Hands down one of the best decisions of my wedding planning process was choosing them. They put SO much hard work and effort into making your event exactly what you want it to be and will always exceed expectations.

enough !! The whole Epic Thyme team made me feel like a princess the whole day . There wasn't a question that went unanswered or a wish that didn't get fulfilled . Developing relationships with them was one of the best parts of the whole wedding planning experience !

conversation we knew that Christi was the wedding planner we needed in our lives. She was personable, professional, organised, helpful, creative, knowledgeable, chill — literally everything you could hope for when planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic and from afar. Christi was so good at listening to both of our ideas and using her own planning and design expertise to essentially 10x every idea we had. I am honestly amazed by how she was able to transform conversations of our ideas and a few of our favorite Pinterest pins into something so amazing. It was also such a relief to be able to hand project management of all wedding things over to Christi, so my husband and I could have time for some of the other planning tasks and also focus on other things. When we had to make the difficult decision to cut our guest count to comply with local pandemic guidelines, Christi helped us to tweak the details of the weekend to create a really fun, intimate event. We had such an amazing weekend with our families. The day after our wedding when we said goodbye to Christi, it felt like we were saying goodbye as friends. We had gotten used to regular calls with her and truly enjoyed her support and friendship in the months leading up to our wedding day. We loved working with Christi and would recommend Epic Thyme hands down to any couple that needs help planning their wedding in Lake Tahoe and beyond. Christi, thanks again for helping us put together the perfect wedding weekend with our family. It was better than we ever could have imagined.

They were so accommodating to our quirky requests and really took the reins as we were so busy and fairly hands off with the whole planning experience. From vendors, to decorations, to being there for the rehearsal and support during the wedding day, they were beyond professional, personable, and created the most amazing day for us to celebrate with our friends and family. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was, from the first meeting to the breakdown the following day. We loved working with Epic Thyme and would recommend them to anyone looking for the absolute best, coolest, most down to earth wedding planner! xo- Kate & Bob

oke Hotel, Grass Valley) we connected with Christi who generously reopened her books to take us on as clients. We couldn’t wait for our monthly check-ins with Christi, she has the best energy! She is calm, organized, and a total blast to work with! Every detail was seamless from rentals to execution during our rehearsal and day of. Christi and her team went out of their way to ensure smooth communication with our vendor team ahead of the event, and every detail was flawless! She habitually goes above and beyond, even escorting my Mom up to her room after the reception and magically (!) delivering her cell phone that she didn’t even realize she left behind. I can’t recommend Christi and Epic Thyme enough. She made our wedding experience seamless, and we already miss her so much! I’m already plotting ways to work with her in the future. Take it from us, RUN don’t walk to hire her!

realized we needed help; we never would have achieved our goals without Christi's hard work! Once we brought Christi on as our planner she helped us fine-tune our vision for the wedding, and kept us on task to make sure everything was in order. There were so many details that we never would have thought of! Additionally, the day-of coordination was absolutely worth it; everything went smoothly and allowed us (and all our family) to actually enjoy ourselves. Christi's extensive experience and work ethic was invaluable.

ng for a wedding fun and seamless. She is so organized, knows her stuff and her calm, cool, kind demeanor made planning a great experience. We ended up hiring them for our rehearsal dinner last minute because it felt really overwhelming and they stepped up right away and made it feel easy breezy. Everything was perfect the day of the wedding and we couldn’t thank Christi and Monique enough. I would recommend Epic Thyme without hesitation. Their services are both affordable and so worth it. I miss them both to this day!

or our music festival wedding extravaganza, so I must try my best to explain, as anyone planning any event would be beyond blessed to even consider them. To begin with, Christi and Monique are beautiful people inside and out with hearts of gold and the desire to bring magic and joy to each event they do. As I worked with them for the last year and a half planning my wedding, I quickly grew to love them as they people they are, the work they do, and truly looked forward to each and every meeting I had with them. That being said, I was no easy bride. I had a million and one completely crazy dreams and went absolutely buck wild with planning, crafting, and constant new ideas. Not only did they make me feel validated, they worked endlessly and tirelessly to ensure my crazy dreams were being fulfilled. Fast forward to my wedding, which was flawless and hands down the greatest event any of our guests had ever been to, I truly have no idea how they possibly managed to make every single moment, event, idea, and more so incredibly perfect (but I suspect magic and a lot of hard work), all with a giant smile on their face. My music festival wedding went off without a hitch, even in 93 MPH winds. Tears come to my eyes as I write this because it was a near impossible task that they beyond delivered on. There is not one moment the entire day or night that I would change for all the money in the world. It was better than I ever could have dreamed, and this is all because of these incredibly talented women at Epic Thyme. My husband, our guests, and I are beyond blessed with the memories of this magical day and the world is truly a better place because of the work that they do. Thank you for making this little girl’s completely absurd dreams come true.

perfect on the day of! If you are lookin for a team that will guide you through the process, listen to your unnecessary stresses, and put together your vision exactly as you wanted, then Epic Thyme is for you!

in my life now- lol! She made planning our destination wedding so incredibly easy, and more importantly enjoyable. Not only was the day perfect, but the whole 9 months planning it was actually fun and completely stress free for my husband and I (which says a LOT considering we had a last minute venue Change due to covid). Our families were able to relax, enjoy the weekend and take in every special moment and it’s all because of Christi and her team. She offered great advice throughout the whole process, kept in touch with us over the course of our engagement and planning, and kept us on track and extremely organized every step of the way. Truly I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Epic Thyme!

e had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and she kept calm and was resourceful and thought out of the box. Whenever there was a hiccup, she kept me calm and assured me it would all work out- and it did! When the big event arrived we were able to relax and enjoy as Christie and Monique took care of so many details from making sure everything was clean and sparkling to managing vendors and greeting guests. It was so worth it to not have to worry about anything and to be able to trust Christie completely. She’s easy going, down to earth, non-judgmental and a creative thinker. I recommend Epic Thyme whole heartedly!

h to hire her. When I first reached out to Christi she was on a weekend snowboard trip with friends, but the venue I was interested in was "close" (not really) so she agreed to sneak away and meet with me. I knew after our first meeting I needed Christi's expertise with my wedding planning venture. Christi was the first wedding decision we made in regards to our wedding, and I am so thankful we had her for literally EVERY step of the process. She helped us with venue ideas, dates (even checking the weather to make sure it would be what we wanted that time of year!) design ideas, hiring vendors, budgeting, websites and so much more. I was shocked at her organization and professionalism. Christi went above and beyond in every way. Her customer service and wedding planning skills are truly unmatched. We worked with Christi for over a year and there wasn't a thing she missed along the way. I often joked that I didn’t feel like I was even a bride-to-be with my hair on fire planning, because I had Christi! The day of our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams, because of her. I wasn't stressed about a single thing and truly got to enjoy every minute of the day. Every detail of the wedding was PERFECT and the entire weekend was seamless. My husband and I have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback on our wedding and we it owe it all to Christi and her EPIC TEAM!!! They embody that word in its entirety. We are forever grateful to Christi for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams. We'd do it all over again just to work with Christi!

pointed! We had a wedding planned for Aug 2020 on the CA side of Tahoe and of course had to change plans. We tried a plan B, which wasn't going to be on the west coast anymore, but Christi offered helped us plan it anyway, from scratch, after already planning our first wedding. 2020 was an unusual and unexpected journey, but Christi was by our side, with the perfect dose of optimism, the whole time. She is beyond organized, supportive and willing to go above and beyond for her clients. Additionally, she is well-connected in the area and has great relationships with a lot of vendors, which made our planning process seamless. Christi took the stress out of wedding planning and we looked forward to every planning call with her. Thank you, Christi!

but Christi at Epic Thyme stood out from the rest. She was so optimistic, kind, friendly, chill - we felt like planning a wedding was possible with her help! She listened to what we wanted, had a ton of ideas from the start, then sent us a whole perfect plan in two days! We were amazed. Then.... the pandemic happened, things were shutting down, and we had no idea how long it would last. We were lost, all over the place, and finally decided on a small immediate family only wedding that we had to plan in 2 months (due to the start of winter in Lake Tahoe). We would NEVER have been able to pull it all off without Christi. She had zoom meetings with us every week and kept us on track. Because we live in Denver and weren't going to see the venue until the wedding, she even went and scoped it out for us! The whole wedding weekend went off seamlessly. She was at the venue before us the day before the wedding getting things set up with our vendors, and planning a rehearsal just to make sure it was all perfect. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding - our families were pretty amazed that they didn't have to run any last minute errands, help with setup, etc. Christi is super professional, fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and always has a smile on her face! We couldn't be happier and are very grateful.

about 4 months before the wedding date, 9/27/2020. Having a COVID-19 wedding with more than 10 people is no easy task (Especially during CA fire season and PG&E outages) - we were certainly hit with so many road blocks, even on the day of the wedding. And that’s why Dustin and I are so thankful we had Epic Thyme on our side, because we came over every obstacle, seamlessly. All our guests kept complimenting us that it was the best wedding they’ve been too in a long time, and that our coordinator really outdid herself! We totally agree. The design and decor was beautifully done! Our wedding day is our most favorite day, THANK YOU Christi / Epic Thyme for making our big day possible and so special! My wedding dreams became a reality, down to every detail.

e we were in bad hands. Christie’s good nature and lightheartedness helped smooth over any turmoil we encountered. At the end of our wedding journey, we emerged feeling accomplished, not exhausted. She truly goes the extra mile for her clients. You can tell she takes YOUR day very seriously. Hire her without hesitation. You’ll love every step of the process.

in just 8 weeks on private property with seemingly endless obstacles to navigate due to the COVID pandemic and local wildfire season. Despite her busy schedule, Christi made time to work with us each week, offered creative solutions to the many logistical problems that arose, and approached every step of the planning process with enthusiasm, encouragement and positivity. We are so grateful for the ways she went above and beyond to make our vision come true, her willingness to take care of so many details on our behalf, and the creative flair she added to make the entire weekend a beautiful and magical time for us and our guests!

edding...then Covid happened and EVERYTHING had to be rethought. She was there for us and made our event so special. There were many days we felt defeated due to the pandemic, but Christi was always there to remind us of what we had to look forward to and came up with creative solutions to our hurdles. Epic Thyme truly went above and beyond for us. Our day was soooo stress free and seamless (even during a global pandemic) because of them. There is absolutely nothing I would have changed or done differently.

ttention to detail is impeccable. We met with her on a Monthly basis to start, but were always in pretty close contact.  She'll start you off with a list of to-do's built from her years of experience in the industry.  No stone goes untouched!  Even though we were a small, 10 person wedding, she went above and beyond in working with us and the vendors we chose to make sure our day felt special.  When COVID hit, Christi was instrumental in helping us downsize our wedding and brainstorming ways for us to keep our wedding day fun and intimate.  While we were one of her smaller weddings to date, having her there on the day and her creative touch were invaluable in making sure it went off without a hitch.  We'd recommend her to any couple looking for a planner in the Tahoe area.  Look no further!

risti was recommended to us by our venue and we are so grateful for their advice. From the very beginning we knew it would be a wonderful fit. Over the last year, we've been planning our wedding with Christi's assistance. She is beyond thorough, helpful, and organized. When COVID hit, we persisted on (we were extremely hopeful). The entire time Christi was beyond supportive and provided wonderful advice. Two months before our wedding, we decided to push it back. Then, we changed our minds again, and decided to do an intimate wedding in 2020 and a big party with all of our guests in 2021. During this whole process Christi has truly been the highlight! She has been flexible with us the entire time, and always makes us laugh when we are stressed. The only good thing about the pandemic hitting during the planning of our wedding is that we now get to work with Christi twice. Do yourself a favor and work with Epic Thyme!

ding consultant. She worked with us, kept us on track and pointed out things we hadn’t even thought of. She recommended a few locations after I told her what we were looking for and the very first one stole my breath! It was just what we were looking for. She connected us with an amazing caterer, bakery, florist, DJ, photographer and videographer. She went to bat for us to get us the best deals. And then, 10 days before our wedding day, the venue could not allow our reception. But Christi came to the rescue and found us a beautiful location. She kept me calm while coordinating with our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. Christi’s efforts helped to make our wedding day magical! She truly is a Rock Star! Having her as our wedding planner was the best decision, second only to saying yes to marrying my husband!

ax because I was in great hands. We ran into a few unexpected issues, like a forecasted summer storm when my whole wedding was planned outside. Christi and her team somehow found me one of the premier venues in grass valley and helped me change my venue the week of! Not to mention her awesome personality! She and her whole team were SO fun to work with. They’re enthusiasm and focus made all the difference throughout the planning phase. If she was ever anxious, I never knew it! And everything came together perfectly. If you’re in the fence, take this as a sign to go for it! I will never regret working with Epic Thyme, the made the best day of my life perfect!!

made throughout our entire wedding process. Christi was immensely helpful in keeping things moving and on track. Every meeting was meaningful and productive, which helped the daunting tasks become more manageable. You can tell Christi really wants to do everything possible to make the day perfect, and she is very good at what she does. From our first meeting, to the final touches, to the big day, Christi was there to see things through. She was hands down the hardest working person at our wedding. Because of Epic Thyme we were able to enjoy our day and present our vision to our guests. People have said our wedding was the best they’d ever been to. This would not have been possible with Christi Nasser. It really was the best day ever thanks to Epic Thyme!

th. The weekend of the wedding was completely stress feee thanks to Christi. I don’t know how she did it all to be honest!! Needless to say she is an amazing planner, person, and an expert in all things wedding. We miss our weekly chats and are so incredibly thankful for having found her. Thank you Christi!
