Working with Mike from Epic Vision Studios for a recent wedding was a great experience. As a wedding planner, I always appreciate collaborating with vendors who are easy to communicate and coordinate details with—both leading up to the wedding and on the big day. Although we dealt with some unique challenges along the way, we were able to work together to navigate them—and the wedding turned out to be a success. We choose Mike to photograph our wedding in August. It was one of the best and easiest decisions we made during our wedding process. Mike took the time to communicate with me about what to expect during our wedding day. He revised our timeline as much as I needed and you could tell he just wanted to make sure we were happy with what we planned. The day of was awesome! We hired Epic Vision Studios for our September wedding this year and had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be working with them again on future life events. We also received them very quickly as well a "sneak peek" just a few weeks after the wedding! We met Mike, our photographer, through our wedding planner. She had nothing but good things to say about him. From our first conversation I could tell Mike was very attentive and organized. We had several conversations with Mike as our wedding day drew closer to discuss the venue and the overall feel and look we were going for. On our wedding day Mike was on it all day. He made sure that we could get all the desired pictures that we wanted and in a way that we didn't feel rushed or stressed out. He and his assistant, Heather, then spent the rest of the wedding scanning the crowd, capturing great moments of us and all the guests enjoying their time. All of the pictures turned out beautifully. This review is way overdue…. I had the pleasure to work with Mike on a beautiful wedding at Malibu West Beach Club this past August. All I can say is you want Mike and Epic Vision as your photographer ! He was so easy to work with, kind and extremely professional. Not to mention his work is absolutely stunning! I hired Epic Vision Studios to install an amazing open air photo booth for my whimsical outdoor Halloween Party! Let me tell you their photo booth is one of a kind! First off my guests were able to take their own "ultimate selfies" with the click of a remote and had full control over their pictures! The best part was that the photo booth projects large scale versions of each photo every time it's shot that created so much buzz and excitement among all my guests. On March 21st 2015, my wife Brenda and I were married in a little church in Santa Monica. We needed a wedding photographer and I personally was very nervous about choosing "the right one". Thankfully my wife already knew Mike and knew his outgoing personality. I didn't meet Mike until about 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle and immediately I got a good feeling about him. First impression was excellent. I don't generally take photos of myself, to be honest I really do not like getting my picture taken, by anyone. It just doesn't feel natural to me having to do "fake poses". I can't say enough good things about how Mike totally took me out of that mind set altogether. Mikes fun and easy going personality put me at ease and allowed me to fully relax and enjoy my wedding knowing he was taking care of business. He managed to get shots of all of our family and friends without them or anyone else knowing. His time at the wedding and at the reception was excellent. If you have any creative shots that you can think of, let him know and he'll try and get it done and honestly tell you what or how it would look. The nice thing is that he's open to trying all different kinds of shots in different locations or scenes. If you've ever seen the TV show Daredevil, he kind of reminds you of the character 'Foggy' and I mean that in every good word of respect. Both Mike and the fictional Foggy are fun and easy going, but they are very professional. And at the end of the day, you want a professional. Mike's your guy! Like I said, I was terrified of getting my photo taken and Mikes' calm easy going demeanor took away all my fears. The photos he returned to us looked great and all our family and friends have really loved those pictures. After talkimg through emails, phone calls, and meeting in person I Was told I would be emailed a contract. waited about a month, I emailed the photographer asking about the contract and he said that he didnt think about it before but that he couldnt wedding photography because there wasnt a long enough time for him to take photos at my 6 hour wedding. He didnt even try to work with me or offer me an alternative. Im glad i didnt book him because he probly wouldnt even have shown up. Very dissapointed had to look for a new photography after wasting all my time
