Epping Forest Yacht & Country club was my DREAM venue and I am so grateful and so lucky that I was able to have my wedding here in March 2026. The venue is stunning. The staff is professional and handled the day with grace and prompt action in the setting of a wind advisory that required a last minute pivot for cocktail hour and dinner. The execution, despite the weather, was flawless. The food was amazing. The staff was so kind and helpful. My bridal attendant, Katy, was amazing and so thoughtful - she knew what I needed even before I did. It was the best day ever and I wish I could re-live the whole thing over and over.

Want to update all looking for a venue that the wedding we had at Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club for our son & daughter in law last week was nothing less than spectacular!! The setting in itself is unreal and the staff, especially special events and Catering overseen by Kaylee Pressley, was excellent with every aspect of the event performed to perfection. It truly was a magical day and my special thanks to all!!

f. Kaylee was incredible from start to finish. She was so helpful during our tasting and walkthrough, endlessly patient through countless emails, and always attentive to every detail. Every single thing was handled perfectly. We loved how customizable the reception felt. We were able to add fun touches like late night chicken and waffles, Chick fil A, and espresso martinis, which made the night feel so special and so us. As the bride, the night is honestly a blur, but I was able to truly enjoy every moment because I trusted their team completely. The evening flowed seamlessly, and so many of our guests commented on what an amazing experience they had. The food was fantastic, especially the beef tenderloin. The venue truly felt like a one stop shop. I never had to worry about linens, silverware, the cake, or dance floor rentals. I knew I was in very competent hands throughout the entire planning process. We are so grateful to Epping Forest and their team for giving us such a smooth, joyful, unforgettable wedding day.

The entire staff also worked to ensure that our wedding day was PERFECT! All of our guests since have been RAVING about how incredible our wedding day experience was for them as well! From the food to all the perfect sunset photo ops they have had nothing but great things to say! Finally, Ernestine and the entire Epping team are the exact people you want in a crisis! Our dogs acted as our ring bearer and flower girl in the wedding and before the start of the ceremony, our ring bearer decided to run away. There's a huge selection of cocktail hour apps to choose from and the entrees were also fantastic, we got so many compliments on the food. What's nice too is they partner with Classic Cakes so your wedding cake is included, which was also phenomenal. On the morning of our wedding, a big storm came through and Kaylee did everything in her power to ensure we could still have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The flexibility and willing to accommodate meant so us and took off so much stress, allowing us to fully be present and enjoy the day. I also have to give a special shoutout to my bridal attendant Katy. She was INCREDIBLE. She made sure to check on me during the day, made sure I had everything I needed, and did such a great job helping me carry my dress around the grounds since some of the walkways were still damp after the rain. She also took some amazing iPhone photos and sent them to me afterwards, which were so fun to look at while we were waiting on our professional photos. A perk is the bride and groom attendants. You can tell they do hundreds of weddings per year together—they ran like a well oiled machine and I never worried about a THING. I was always terrified I would be—as an events planner myself—in planning mode on my wedding day. That could not have been further from the truth! Epping and all of their staff were spectacular! My daughter's wedding was all outdoors at 5pm. By about 1pm it began to clear, and we all agreed to continue outdoors. However, ...

about 3:45 a 5-minute deluge came and soaked everything. The team at Epping were fabulous in their efforts to calm us and assure us that everything would be fine. They ended up having to reset the linens and all place settings on about 15 tables, not once but twice, due to the rain. They did this all with precision and professionalism and we were able to start with only a 7-minute delay. Everything for the rest of the evening was perfect! Ernestine Sanchez' attention to detail and guidance throughout the evening was wonderful. She made sure we were all in the right place a the right time for all the special moments. Did I mention the food? Oh, my goodness! It was nothing short of spectacular. They were able to feed 174 guests, incredibly delicious food, that was well presented and served very timely. The ability to have everything, and I mean everything, taken care of by the team at Epping, from the food to the cake, to the ceremony, to the reception, tenting, dance floor, was such a great benefit. Epping also has a large network of wedding vendors, florists, photographers, DJ's, etc. that have experience with the venue, which makes their job easier. Almost without exception, the first time I see friends after the wedding, they rave about how beautiful every aspect of the afternoon/evening was, and that was due to the staff at Epping and the beautiful venue. I would highly, highly recommend Epping Forest for your special day. You will not be disappointed.

sive wedding they've ever been to and that every transition was so smooth throughout the night. The food is INCREDIBLE - everyone raved about it! Truly an unforgettable evening and I highly recommend Epping as a venue. Working with Kim was a joy! I only had two complaints: 1. I had a hard time getting in touch with someone to book my wedding date to begin with. 2. When showing up for the rehearsal the day before the wedding, there was construction being done to the front of the venue. We did not receive any warning about this and found out as we approached the venue. We were told the construction would not be finished before the wedding even though we had booked our wedding a year and a half in advance. Although this was very upsetting, Epping worked to make the construction discreet, and guests didn't even notice. Overall, it was a minor frustration but something I don't think should've happened based on the amount of money we spent. Communication could've been better here.

Although we chose to fall back indoors for the ceremony due to inclement weather, the entire upstairs of the mansion was no hack. The staff was so engaged in helping us make our decision, it showcased their flexibility and desire to please us. That became even more evident throughout the busy evening as everything was handled with ease and experience. One of the staff overheard us mention how we would miss the hors d’oeuvors during photography, so she used an earpiece to call for them. Within a minute we had our own butler with a tray. The quality of the staff was unsurmountable, the food was referred to as ‘the best of any wedding I have ever been to’ by many of our guests, and the overall experience was something others would be lucky to achieve.

hot at "your special day," so there's not much of a playbook to reference. Caitlin and I knew we wanted a ceremony on the river as the sun set behind us. Our first idea kind of fell threw (looking back, it was a blessing), then C wanted to push up the wedding by five months. I was all in; I couldn't wait to tie the knot but knew we had work to do. Well, she didn't want to spend a ton of money on a huge ceremony, but this was going to be our only "big day" I wanted it to be perfect for her and us. I had been to Epping before for work, but never for a Wedding. I knew the family of properties it is a part of, and it is top-notch. There is nothing better. We also wanted a venue that took care of everything for us, and we did not want to labor or stress over all the minute tasks and details about everything coming together. At Epping, Kimberly took care of EVERYTHING. From the first meeting to the formal walk with Caitlin and me to the parents' visit for the dinner tasting, EVERYTHING was ultimately on Kim and the Staff. It all fit together perfectly. I do not have enough space or time to write down everything. I guess you will have to trust us that when it came down to it, there was no other choice, and looking back, not only was there no other choice, there was not the first problem, issue, or stressful moment. The staff, Kim, and the Bridal attendant, Sara, were precisely what you have always dreamed they would be for you on your special day...... go take a look and allow them to make your day the best it ever could be.

d, is an understatement. Epping is absolutely breathtaking; the moment you pull up, you’re instantly going back to an old world, and on top of that, the staff is absolutely top notch. Ernestine and Linda are at the top of their class when it comes to the wedding industry in Jacksonville. We moved our wedding an entire year because of Covid, and they took us through the Covid trenches with hands held and heads high. We also ended up changing our ceremony to getting married at church instead of Epping, and it didn’t effect out timeline at all, we pulled up to Epping the same time cocktail hour was going to start anyways, and they greeted us with big smiles, cold drinks and happiness I’ll never forget. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how professional the staff was, how BEAUTIFUL to sunset was on the river and watching the sun go down during cocktail hour, and all of the food! Ernestine absolutely crushed it, from answering all of my crazy questions, to streamlining the timeline for my planner to reference. We truly had the best day of our lives!!!

t more than anything, I cannot speak more highly of Ernestine. She was professional, helpful, flexible and unbelievably kind throughout the entire process and we felt so lucky to have her! We also LOVED Brittany, our bridal attendant. She was so helpful and made my husband and I feel so at ease on what could be a hectic day. The beauty of the property speaks for itself, but the staff is truly something special. Epping thinks of every detail and goes out of their way to ensure your day is nothing less than spectacular. We could not have asked for a better experience!

ds that I bet I see in Christmas cards this year!! It rained the day of the wedding but was clearing up as the scheduled time of the ceremony neared. Ernestine suggested we postpone the start time of the ceremony by 15 minutes which allowed that we could still have it outside. The staff handed out champagne to the waiting guests. Because the grounds were wet, however, the dinner tables not on the patio had to be relocated inside. The staff jumped into action moving the 5 outside tables and associated 50 chairs inside (upstairs) at the last minute as well as pulling the 7 banquet tables and associated 50+ chairs for the patio out from under the band tent. Everyone “remained calm and carried on"! The food was great and the service impeccable.

y bridal attendant) everything was absolutely perfect. Ernestine was such a joy to work with, always helpful and quick to respond to my many emails. My bridal attendant Katy was amazing as well. Between she and Ernestine they made the entire day go seamlessly and smooth. My husband, family and I have received non stop compliments from everyone who attended. Truly the most beautiful venue with the most amazing staff, I could not have dreamed of a better day.
