My wife and I got married in a small venue with Eric as our acoustic guitarist - he played ceremonial music that I had written for the occasion (~10 minutes of music). This was a r...
eally dedicated event for Eric because of the intensity of the music - it was microtonal, played with two acoustic guitars in 19-TET and 15-TET. He played beautifully and met every challenge with grace and insight into the writing. We are so thankful to him for preparing so thoroughly and making that ceremony such a tender, joyful moment in our lives. He was early and had an iPad with the music + foot pedal so that page turns/memorizing weren’t an issue. I’m personally extremely impressed and humbled to work with him, especially with the difficulty presented by the xenharmonic/microtonal music. If you need guitar music done right, he’s your man - an astoundingly brilliant jazz guitarist.
