Eric was such a joy to work with for our engagement photos and wedding. My husband and I felt so at ease during the engagement photo shoot as he directed us. He is such a man of hi...
s craft and truly sought out the perfect shots. Our friends and family (along with us) thought the photos were amazing and looked straight out of a magazine. He was also great at our wedding. I was nervous about how it would be to get ready and have someone taking photographs. He wasn’t lying when he said he would be like a fly on the wall. Our sunset photos were amazing. He was already prepared with specific locations that would photograph beautifully. He’s very organized and worked great with all the vendors. He’s such a kind and friendly guy and we would highly recommend him!!
So amazing, couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures! He made sure we got all the pictures we wanted, stayed on schedule and even pulled us aside when the lighting was the bes...

t photos with him as well. He takes amazing photos and really knows how to capture moments rather than posing us the entire time. He had a really quick turnaround with our engagement photos and gave us some sneak peek wedding photos 4 days after our wedding. Eric is the best!
There are not enough words to express how much we loved Eric's work, or working with him. Eric went above and beyond to research every place we shot at and give us the options befo...
rehand to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the choices. No idea is out of the questions, Eric is really game to try anything....even a Yosemite hike in wedding attire the day after the wedding for epic sunset photos. His vision is incredible and I got to a point where I just completely trusted him with timing, lighting, and poses. Not to mention, he is a fun guy to work and hang out with! He put me and my finance completely at ease and we really had a blast taking all of the wedding event photos. Every single picture is just breathtaking and everyone will want to know who your photographer is. You will not regret booking with Eric!
I am in the wedding industry and work with many photographers (and there are many fantastic photographers out there!). When it was finally my turn and the time came to choose a ph...
otographer for my engagement photos, I knew without question who I wanted to hire. Eric is the best there is! Not only is he personable and fun to work with, he takes the most beautiful pictures! Just look at his work!
His style is so unique: dramatic, meets romantic and moody - his skill with light, nature, and surroundings make his photos a work of art. Eric is such a professional, extremely responsive and thorough. He really gets to know his client and their personality and I believe that really shows in the photos! I couldn't be happier with my engagement photos! Can't wait to work with him again in the future!
Besides his friendly and easy-going personality, Eric's photos are exactly what we wanted our photos to be. He did our engagement shoot and our wedding ceremony and reception. I've...
only seen a couple pics from the wedding (two weeks ago) and my wife and I were thoroughly amazed. Our engagement pics were beautiful as well. He's got some great ideas for shots. Check his site out to see his samples and you'll be impressed.
My husband and I literally cannot stop talking about how amazing Eric is. As soon as we saw his work, we knew we wanted to work with him. We didn't even meet with any other photogr...
aphers. We booked him right away after our first meeting and it was the best decision we could have ever made.
We had our engagement shoot back in October in Tilden Park and Eric made it so fun. He has such a great personality and makes you feel so at ease. Our photos were so beautiful so we were super excited to have him shoot our wedding as well. We were also lucky enough to have the amazing Brian MacStay as our second shooter. The photos could not have turned out more beautiful and we always have such a great time hanging out with Eric. We're trying to figure out when we can do another shoot with him just so we can hang out with the guy! We have received nothing but the highest compliments on our photos. These are not just your ordinary run of the mill wedding photos, each one is like a work of art. Eric's eye for photography is unbelievable. The way he is able to capture the light is breathtaking. I have already recommended Eric to another couple getting married this year (and they booked him!) and will continue to recommend him to every other engaged couple I know from here on out. We look forward to working with Eric again in the future for any other special events we need captured!
What can I say about Eric? His creative vision is so far beyond a "wedding photographer". When you get Eric you get a true artist. Eric was so quick to respond and if he couldn't a...
nswer your question at that time he would tell you when he would be able to respond. That was so comforting.
He was early to our wedding and stayed until the very end even when we said he could leave. He came up with such creative locations and our pictures are truly art to cherish. He is worth every single penny, and he was very affordable.
Don't miss out, hire Eric James Photography!
