Eric is an amazing photographer who is really passionate about creating beautiful photos. Even more than that, he is super friendly and personable. He was able to accommodate my fiancé and I when our rental car broke down the night before our sunset photoshoot. We were really relaxed in front of the camera, he guided us through the shoot while still allowing us to do our own thing. The photos came out beautiful and really show our love and happiness. We can’t recommend Eric enough, his work is amazing and his personality is perfect for it!

I wanted a puppy photo shoot to capture memories of his puppy phase and Eric was happy to be our photographer. I wasn't sure what to do/how to pose as I've never done a professional shoot before, but Eric was kind and patient throughout the whole process, and that completely eased my nerves. We had a great time during the shoot (me, my BF and our puppy) and Eric was able to capture the best moments, from the beautiful location to happy moments with each other. He has such a positive attitude, is able to engage with his clients so well, and knows how to capture what his clients want. The end results of the photographs speak for his talent and capability. I would definitely hire Eric anytime we need important life moments captured, and recommend him to all our friends and family :)

Eric was FANTASTIC to work with! He was so easygoing, helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos were absolutely, gorgeous! He was very responsive and helpful during the emailing process as well. During the wedding he was very attentive and all our guests enjoyed having their photo taken! He puts 110% into his work, my husband and I will cherish these photos forever!

Eric shot my husband and I's wedding in Maui this summer and could not be happier with the service he provided! He captured every moment perfectly and was an absolute blast to work with. So many of our guests approached us and were equally impressed by his professionalism and fun spirit. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Eric to help us capture our love in Hawaii fashion. We didn't have a "traditional" wedding, but still wanted the memory, and Eric was the perfect fit to take such photos. I found Eric on The Knot and although he does not reside on the island where I booked my venue, I reached out just in case. I’m so happy I did because working with him was a dream. He was helpful in planning every single aspect of the wedding day and was patient with me when I had no idea what I was talking about. He offered suggestions when I was confused about timeline specifics and even helped with plans for our honeymoon with his local expertise. The best part was that he made everyone in the party feel fun and comfortable and made my husband and I feel like we had been friends with him for ever. I would highly suggest hiring Eric 10/5 stars!

We did a couple honeymoon photoshoot with Eric. In Hawaii. This was the first time that my husband and I have been in front of a professional camera so we were a little concerned about knowing how to pose and looking awkward in the pictures. Eric made it so fun and easy for us: he took his time with us during the photoshoot, he scheduled interview session to get to know us and we got to know him so it made us more comfortable. We were laughing and having fun during the whole photoshoot which resulted in a lot of photos that captured the love and happiness. Eric was very prompt in his response to any questions we had leading up to the photoshoot. He truly enjoys the art of photography and he genuinely strive to provide his clients with quality photos that captures all the beautiful moments.

Eric is an amazing photographer and I would highly recommend him to any couple who is looking for someone to capture that once in a lifetime moment! Our friends recommended him to us in the first place after he did an awesome job capturing their wedding and I have zero regrets asking him to take pictures of my engagement. He helped me figure out the best spot to propose where the scenery was beautiful and not a lot of other people were. He even went out of his way to scope out the spot ahead of time to make sure everything looked as expected. He took amazing pictures of the proposal itself and even stuck around after the proposal to take additional engagement photos. Having never participated in a photoshoot before, he made me and my fiancée very comfortable the entire time. We absolutely love all of the photos we got from him. Eric is everything and more you could hope for in a couple's photographer! We hired Eric to shoot honeymoon photos while we explored Hawaii. Had we worked with him prior there’s a good chance we would have paid for him to come to Iowa for the wedding as well. Eric is the real deal. He really knows how to interact and engage with you as a couple. My wife and I are no models and he was able to have fun and make us feel comfortable while giving us direction. With that in mind he also didn’t stop us from being us and letting us good around. He is a pleasure to talk to and work with and for people out of town an absolutely invaluable resource for the best spots to eat, visit, and take in the beautiful views from Hawaii. We really believe Eric went above and beyond for us, especially for us hiring him to do a small honeymoon shoot. We haven’t gotten all our photos back from him as I write this review, but we’ve seen some previews and are absolutely ecstatic to see them all. It’s getting to be a fair amount of time past the wedding and we’re holding off on sending thank you cards to our guests until we can include some of the incredible photos we get back from Eric. I can say I was hesitant to worry about doing a photo shoot during our honeymoon, and waking up at 4:30am the first morning in Hawaii wasn’t exactly what I had imagined but he made it very worth it. We’ve recommended him to several family members and other military members in the island to work with already. We will be in touch to do family photos when we make it back out to Hawaii later this year. Hire him and not only will you not be disappointed in the photos, but you’ll also be thrilled with the time spent during the photo shoot laughing and having fun with your loved ones.

I wish I could give Eric more than 5 stars because I absolutely would. He is the best photographer that a couple could ask for. We scheduled just a normal couples photo shoot with him and my now fiancé proposed unexpectedly and Eric still captured all the amazing moments. He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed the entire photo shoot. I couldn’t have asked for a better day and the pictures he took were beautiful and he did an amazing job capturing every moment. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Eric is awesome, very professional, and a passionate guy. He took our pre-wedding at Kualoa Regional Park in Jan. We received our photos just a couple of weeks after. We hired Eric for our wedding, and he was wonderful! Such a nice guy and very professional. He set up multiple calls beforehand to make sure that he knew all of the shots we wanted to get, and they turned out great. We had also done a beach photo shoot with him before we were engaged, & that was a great experience as well! No matter what setting you’re in, Eric knows how to make you look your best. I had reached out to Eric earlier in the year to take our engagement photos since we were planning to visit Hawaii, but because of COVID, we had to change our date so many times. Eric could not have been more accommodating and understanding with us. We appreciated it so much! 2020 has been so difficult, but Eric was so patient with us every single time we gave him a new date we would arrive. Each time we talked with him, we were met with kindness, over email and in person! Despite all the set backs, we knew we HAD to make it out to Hawaii just so Eric could take our photos. His work is just so incredible. He was so kind and professional over email, and when we finally met in person, he was seriously the best! He helped us through our awkwardness and knew exactly what he was doing. I loved all the ideas he had and he even played our favorite song to help us set the mood. Eric made the session so much fun for the both of us, we definitely smiled and laughed the whole time! He took his time with us and we didn’t feel rushed at all. He offered to stay to take more photos since we still had a lot of light left, so that was super sweet of him!!! Our photos turned out AMAZING! I knew Eric was talented at what he does, but when we got our photos, we were so shocked and amazed. Friends and family loved our photos and kept asking who took them for us and where we took it. Everything turned out so incredible!!! We loved working with him and I seriously cannot wait to reach out to Eric for any future photo sessions we may need.

Eric is the best photographer I know and an absolutely amazing person. He makes what might feel like a big photo shoot into a romantic, fun activity with your loved one, a camera just happens to be capturing that. I normally don't like getting my photo taken, but I relish getting any photo that Eric takes. He made my fiance and I beyond happy. We have changed every background on our computers and printed photos! THANK YOU ERIC!!!

He is an awesome photographer. We love our wedding photo by him. He was very creative and try to make us relax for photo shoot too. He is very easy to work with and very kind. I would recommend him as a photographer to anybody if they are getting married in Oahu Hawaii.

Eric is truly one of a kind. Not only is he a gem to be around, but he is also so talented behind the camera. The photos that my fiancé and I received from our engagement shoot were beyond special. The edits were perfect, incredible quality, lighting, details, and the exact moment completely captured in every photo. This review is long overdue. Eric took our Rehearsal Dinner and day of Wedding Photos (ceremony and reception). My husband and I are both camera shy but Eric made us relaxed and comfortable the whole time. On the two days, Eric was very easy going, calm, and flexible. We were even more impressed when we saw the outcome of his work. We are still impressed that we asked Eric to take our maternity photos 2 years later. Highly recommend from this happy bride/future mom!!

Eric is a talented photographer and an easy person to work with. We've done an engagement style shoot and family photos with Eric and cannot recommend him enough. We are not comfortable in front of the lens so pictures usually come out forced but Eric's easy going style and direction brought out the most genuine poses and smiles. Eric is a brilliant professional photographer, detailed editor, and wonderful to work with throughout every stage. Eric took stunning shots during our engagement shoot and our wedding. He was the only photographer for our wedding and was able to take multiple shots of every moment during our day. He is attentive and quick to capture those split second moments. As awkward and silly as my husband and I can be in the momentary spotlight, he was able to help us feel comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera and made our shoot unique to our personalities. Our favorite pictures from him are the ones that candidly capture the interaction between us and show the joy of our love during each session. He encouraged us to be ourselves with a few helpful suggestions on how to position ourselves, which made posing super easy. He works earnestly to understand each person/couple and comes prepared for each shot. He went so far as to research and visit the perfect location in a forest next to a river for our engagement shoot- and when we were surprised by snow there on the day of the shoot, he was flexible and incorporated the elements in the moment for beautiful results. He is ready to go the distance for the perfect session. He is honest and fair in his pricing- and is totally worth every penny. The pictures were easily downloaded from a user friendly platform that I was also able to share with my family and friends. Whether the pictures are zoomed in on a screen, or printed large, it is apparent that the details and colors have been carefully and tastefully edited for maximum quality. Besides joining our families by marriage, the pictures are my most precious lasting souvenir from our wedding day. I look at these images daily and am so grateful that Eric was our photographer that preserved these memories.

Eric was our photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding in Olympic National Park, Washington. We love his work, so we were lucky he was available on our wedding date. We are big fans of his incredible surf and nature photography on Instagram, since we are outdoorsy.
