In short, I would absolutely recommend Eric for your wedding day photographer! I was extremely nervous and anxious about hiring a photographer for our wedding day. I do not like to have my photo taken and was afraid I wouldn’t know how to pose and the photos would end up feeling fake or staged or just awful looking. We met with Eric over Zoom after getting his name from a co-worker who had a great experience with him and even over video his personality and confidence made me feel so comfortable. After we hired him he was great at communicating and even made us our wedding day schedule so we could know what to expect in advance to help ease my anxiety. He also helped us tailor the experience and gave great advice and recommendations. I did not want any prep photos done, I thought they were kind of waste, who wants a picture of our shoes and a dress hanging up? Eric advised that he could show up a little later and just do a few of these, and I am so grateful. One of my favorite photos is of our rings on our invitation. On our day Eric was amazing. I never felt awkward or uncomfortable, he gave direction in a very laid back fun way and I can say I honestly enjoyed having my photos done. We even had family members comment on how easy to work with he was and how nice and efficient he was being. We got our photos just about a week after our wedding, and they were amazing. My husband and I both enjoyed the experience so much we are using Eric again to take our family photos with our new baby!

Eric was our photographer for both our engagement session last fall and our July 2025 wedding, and he exceeded every expectation that we had. We could not be more grateful for Eric! We were running 15-20 minutes late almost the whole day, but he never made us feel rushed or stressed and gladly continued to capture all the moments we requested, even after his time was up. The shots were so amazing and we got our entire album within 3 weeks of the wedding! Absolutely an amazing person and photographer!

Eric was our photographer for our June 2025 wedding and did our engagement photos. He is seriously the best. I felt comfortable in front of the camera when I’m normally not, he does a great job of directing poses. He was a lifesaver the day of our wedding - went above and beyond. helped with my dress, brought a toy to make sure the flower girl smiled during photos, was so organized and on top of everything. And he got our 800+ pictures back to us edited and looking flawless 9 days after our wedding. Not many people can say that! Hire Eric for the absolute best professional photography experience. Eric was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer and more! From our first meeting with him, we could tell that he was not only professional, but extremely well organized, has a sharp attention to detail, and a genuinely kind and fun guy. We did opt for the engagement photo sessions and would highly recommend that - it gave us an opportunity to hang out and get to know each other a bit more, and the photos were beautiful! Leading up to the wedding, Eric checked in with us and provided so many helpful recommendations, including our DJ! Day of, Eric was so organized and created a detailed timeline to make sure we all knew where to be and when for photos, which also helped us build our schedule for the rest of the day. We had planned for outdoor photos, but had a bit of a cold and windy day - Eric was able to improvise in the moment and find the best spots for us to get some amazing shots. And the photos speak for themselves - they are STUNNING. We also added on the Photo Booth for the evening and Eric worked directly with the venue to coordinate set up, which was a big help for us. The photos from that are such a fun keepsake. We can’t recommend Eric enough for your wedding!!

HIRE HIM NOW!!! Don't waste anymore time looking! Eric was an absolute God send for our wedding! Eric works with couples to create an incredibly detailed day-of timeline. This schedule acts as the back bone of the entire day, and my wedding ran sooo smoothly because of Eric!! This man is unmatched in his professionalism, his attention to detail, creativity, and he is one of the MOST THOUGHTFUL humans I've ever met!! He has been photographing weddings for a long time and the guy comes PREPARED! He anticipates potential issues and mitigates any he spots. On top of being very experienced and super hands on, he is SO MUCH FUN!!! I honestly think Eric enjoyed our wedding just as much as we did! His passion for photography is incredible and it shows! Photography is costly, but hiring Eric is worth every penny! Eric was amazing! He made our engagement photo shoot so fun and low-key. He captured my now husband and me perfectly and made it so I wasn’t self-conscious about the way I looked. Eric offered to help us with our day of timeline and even though I was worried the day would be rushed it went so smoothly and Eric built in buffers in case of setbacks! As for our wedding day, he was awesome. He kept the day moving and worked really well with our videographer! I love that we were able to rent his “I Do Photo-booth” which made for one less vendor! Eric had a tablet with a sneak peak slideshow that we got to look at photos while in line for the buffet which made me excited for the full album! Eric told us our whole gallery would be done in 8-10 weeks got our gallery earlier than that! I'm pretty sure he doesn’t sleep because he has so many fall weddings/ shoots this year and was able to deliver a very quality product in such a short time. The photos are seriously so beautiful! I look forward to using him in the future for family photos!

We were so happy with Eric as our photographer! He is incredible to work with - I cannot imagine anyone being more responsive and communicative, helpful and organized. He made taking pictures fun and comfortable, which is pretty impressive considering we're two introverts who are usually very awkward in front of a camera! The wedding was so much less stressful because we knew Eric was on top of things. And of course, the photos are beautiful! Eric is the best! He is organized, timely, and incredible eye for timeless pictures. He kept our day moving, had special time plugged in to the schedule for just my husband and I, and we had the best time. We got so many compliments from guests of how great he was and that he got great pictures that were not on our shot list! He does it all himself and gets everything! We had such a great experience with Eric. We waited until we were about 6 months out from our wedding to book a photographer (in hindsight, probably not the best idea), and I am completely shocked that we were able to get Eric for our wedding. Eric was able to provide everything we wanted in a photographer and more! He made sure every moment of our day was captured, from taking the time to get the perfect pictures with our precious puppy, to pranking our groomsmen. We especially loved all of the sneak peak pictures that were previewed during our cocktail hour with guests. There aren’t enough stars! We hired Eric Vest for our engagement and wedding photos. Eric is one of the kindest and most thoughtful photographers I’ve ever gotten to work with. He remembers EVERYTHING! We didn’t hire a day of coordinator and Eric was stellar at keeping and maintaining timelines (no small task with my family). He is professional and comes with plenty of recommendations but only if asked for them - Photography related or not. His work is beautiful and timely, but I’ll let that speak for itself. Don’t hesitate to hire this wonderful human! You won’t regret it!

I may have procrastinated in writing wedding vendor reviews, but don’t delay in having Eric be your wedding photographer! He was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! He was so friendly, upbeat, easy going, and positive! We had such a fun time with him as our photographer! We loved our engagement and wedding photos so much! Eric is the best photographer we could have ever imagined for our wedding! He is so personable and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. He is hard working, organized, and extremely professional. He basically acts as a day-of coordinator and is fun to hang out with on your wedding day (you are with your photographer a lot!). We were behind schedule at one point during the day, and he assured me we would make up the time and get all the shots we wanted and put me at ease. During the reception, he even brought at Ipad and displayed pictures that he took earlier in the day- the guests raved about it! Eric was hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding!! From meeting him to our engagement shoot and every step prior to the wedding, he was incredibly helpful in planning every detail for our wedding and was such an expert! My husband and I are both a little camera-shy but he made us incredibly comfortable in every photo and caught the most AMAZING moments of our wedding. Even when things started to fall off schedule on wedding day, he was amazing at adjusting and keeping us together!! We got our engagement photos and wedding photos so much faster than we anticipated and he made it super easy for us to access them and share them with our friends/family. All around, he brought the most amazing energy to our wedding day and we are so so so grateful he was our photographer. A little added note, if you haven't met Eric yet - he's VERY tall which allowed him to the most AMAZING angles at our wedding. :) He also offers a photo booth that was an absolute hit at our wedding and our guests loved leaving with their physical prints (most other places we found just offered digital prints).

I cannot recommend Eric Vest enough! He is an amazingly talented photographer and an all around wonderful human. From the very beginning Eric showed up with enthusiasm and somehow made us feel like we were his only clients. He is organized and thoughtful. From our engagement photo session to our big day, Eric was always on time, willing to run with our unique ideas, and shocked us with his quick turn around time for delivering photos. He knew all of our wedding party's names, offered to help with tasks that were not specific to a photographer, and was respectful of our priorities for the day. His attention to details in photos is impeccable. Run, don't walk, to work with him!

If I could give 10+ stars I would. We absolutely loved having Eric as our photographer. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He is so organized, patient, great at communicating and his work is just amazing! Eric was super helpful on creating a wedding timeline with us and just made our wedding day run so smooth. 5 stars aren't enough. Everything about working with Eric from start to finish was nothing short of excellence. His communication, both with us and the other vendors, was superb. He was incredibly helpful, even with things that were not related to his job in any way. He was an absolute delight to work with and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, and it shows in the photographs. He kept us on schedule in the kindest way possible, and did a great job of calming me down when I got overwhelmed about the number of things we had left to do and the amount of time we had to do them in. He made sure we got everything we had asked for and every photo I had expressed was important to me, even when I thought there was no way we could fit it all in. He was timely every step of the way, from responding to the first email I sent him to delivering the final photos to us, which were everything I had hoped for. He exceeded my expectations in every way. It's worth noting my late father was a photographer, so my expectations were sky high from the start. Not an easy bar, and still he surpassed it. I am so grateful that Eric was available to photograph our wedding. It was one of the most special days of my life, and he helped to make it perfect.

We recommend Eric without hesitation. He is very easy to work with, and his photography skills and style are top notch. He is an equally good person. He even went above and beyond being a photographer (e.g., helping us out with random things on the wedding day). He is extremely professional, and his organization makes is very easy to communicate and work with him. I met Eric through my sister's wedding as she also booked his services. When we got engaged, and as soon as we booked our venue, we went straight to Eric to make sure he was our photographer! Eric has excellent communication and a great personality for this line of work. He's personable and an absolute professional which all help to make you feel relaxed and natural in front of a camera. His expertise and calm demeanor also helped with moving the wedding day schedule along and staying on time - he even came prepared with a crochet hook which helped with the ridiculous amount of buttons on the back of my dress! Eric is an artist in his craft and I can't recommend him enough. Thanks to Eric, we have such incredible photos to be able to remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives.

We cannot say enough good things about Eric! In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you will hire for your wedding because the memories that they capture will last for a lifetime. I knew I wanted someone who was detail oriented, flexible and had a creative and clean style. Eric surpassed all my expectations and I would recommend him a hundred times over!! If you’re looking for a one stop photographer, this is your guy!! Eric took care of sooo much more than just photography! I hired Eric to do my engagement and wedding as a package because I loved the style of his photographs. They are so vibrant and crisp! We started out with the engagement session and I envisioned a beautiful spring moment. I scheduled the season and as the time rolled closer, Minnesota had other ideas and the weather was still soggy and gross. I contacted Eric and with a smile he gladly told me we could reschedule! So we did and waited for spring to roll around. Well spring came and we woke up to go to our location and the rain came POURING down. Eric met us and said “No problem! We will wait it out!” Eric waited AN HOUR in his truck just waiting for the weather to cooperate and never batted an eye. Once it cleared up he took us out and did his thing. He even brought a pretty umbrella just in case. And when it sprinkled a little he used the umbrella to create more adorable shots. Then our wedding came around! Eric set up a zoom call to align the timeline perfectly so nothing was missed. We got down arrival times of everyone, places people needed to be and he made sure he knew every little detail! Once wedding day came up Eric was there, bright and early with his empowering smile. When I tell you this man comes prepared I mean it! Any little thing me or one of my girls said “this would be useful if we had…” Eric produced out of his Mary Poppins bag! Down to me saying a fan would be nice because I was getting hot in my dress - he had a handheld one! My sisters said a crochet needle would be nice to do my dress up - HE HAD ONE!! All that in top of the photographs being strikingly beautiful was the perfect combination and I’d hire Eric a million times over. Eric also worked hand in hand with my day of coordinator to make sure everything went so smoothly for my day and he never made me feel rushed even when we were clearly behind schedule, which was very calming. Eric was a true friend on the day and he was always smiling and seemed just so excited to be part of our wedding. He’s also tall so he can get those high up shots so easily! We got hundreds and hundreds of photos from him and in a very quick manner. Our sneak peaks were always out to us within a day or two 💜 He really was a key part of our wedding and has made our memories last FOREVER. We loved having him.
