Eric was absolutely wonderful! I have known I wanted Eric to photograph my wedding for about 5 years now. He did such a fantastic job. He did everything he could to get all the shots I wanted and with perfection. I have an extremely large crazy family and Eric was very patient with us and kept us in line. If you haven't checked out his website, you should! He is amazing at capturing the artistry and the moment. We were very happy to book him as our photographer. And although we just had our wedding not too long ago, I know he'll do great work to make our photos beautiful! Eric was great on the wedding day and took time even to take photos from family members who missed the family photo time we set up. He is very thorough and explains the process so there isn't any confusion or worry that you would get hit with hidden charges or fees. Definitely recommend him considering him for your wedding!

I absolutely love Eric! He was my photographer for three of my events; a couples shower, my rehearsal dinner, and my wedding. I wish I had more events for him to shoot because he was absolutely amazing and all my guests were thrilled by his work as well as his personality while shooting! My wedding was initially an outdoor wedding but when the day was filled with more rain than Texas has ever gotten he was able to keep everything together and get amazing photos, he is an amazing photographer. Anyone who needs a photographer needs to choose Eric because he will not disappoint you.

AMAZING!!! He is the best photographer! Eric sees things that no one else does and captures great moments. I decided to use Eric Younkin after many weeks of research and reviews of all my local (even west coast based) photographers. I first met Eric in Las Vegas where he was teaching a workshop on Bridal lighting and being a female photographer I was stunned at his style and energy so I asked for his card. I called him a couple of weeks later and we booked him on the spot because he was so over and beyond any of the other local photographers we met with. His work is that of a true artist and he is one funny and entertaining person. My bridal session ended up in a national lighting magazine and I actually got paid which was a nice little side perk to doing business with the amazing artist. One of the things he won't tell you is that he was voted one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world by Modern Bride Magazine... I want to go on record as letting that cat out of the bag. His prices are more than fair for what you receive so I would look no further and make sure Eric Younkin is your first stop. He even helped me fix my dress which got messed up the day of my wedding! He knew just what to do to fix that zipper that decided to stick :)

My first encounter with Eric was very pleasant. My husband and I met with him in his office, and i knew right away that he was the photographer for us. Eric is very friendly, laid back, and at the same time very professional. He did my bridals and wedding. For the bridals, I didnt have a place in mind but Eric knew Fort Worth like the back of his hand and chose places that no regular person would choose. He has a keen eye for art, lighting, and what would be beautiful in a portrait. I totally let him use his creativity and my pictures came out beautifully. Unfortunately, I couldnt afford any prints, but it wasn't because they were outragely priced, just not in my budget. For the wedding, Eric was awesome. I have viewed my pictures and I love them. If you want someone to capture your day, with high quality photos, that you can cherish forever, Eric is your man. He uses top notch equipment, and he knows how to use it. There are many photographers out there and anyone can use a camera, but if you want someone who understands lighting, angles, cameras, editing, etc. go with Eric!!

I have been involved in so many weddings over decades that when I finally decided to marry, I made a point to be the anti-Bridezilla. This wedding was to be a fun but high-profile celebrity wedding. I wasn't going to feel obligated to do anything that would take the spontaneity out of the occasion or turn it into a circus. I took notice of Eric Younkin's photography through his FB page and his site. I was very pleased to find his versatility in such a niche industry. He's talented, professional, takes his time when you need him to and quick on his feet. He has a fantastic sense of design, contrast, shape and urgency. He was a perfect fit for the role. Just moments after our rehearsal dinner, TMZ had gotten wind of the event, so we made sure that the photos they used were Eric's. I had sought a bit of guidance on this and other wedding sites beforehand so, I wanted to give some helpful feedback. I came across Eric's photographs while looking at a particular wedding chapel. Every time I saw an absolutely gorgeous, artistic shot of a couple at that venue - one that I envisioned myself and husband being in - it had Eric's logo on it. That eventually lead me to his website where I was even more amazed at the quality and beauty of his work. I had already 'interviewed' almost all the photographers at a local bridal expo and looked at numerous other photography websites - none of their work really jumped out at me like Eric's did. I knew I had to work with this guy! We were already on a tight budget but after meeting with Eric and realizing we could make it work, we signed the contract with him to do an engagement session, bridal session and the wedding photography. Surprisingly, he was more affordable than several of the other wedding photographers I had spoken with and he had more experience and better quality work than they did. Photography was something that was very important to me for my wedding - I have taken several photography classes and am the "photographer" for the rest of my family. Unfortunately, no one else in my family seems to know how to handle a camera as when I am the subject it is always blurry, too far, too close, etc. After speaking with Eric and seeing his work, I felt very, very comfortable with Eric being my photographer for "the most important day of my life". Needless to say, all of our images from our engagement, bridal and wedding were absolutely breath-taking, artistic masterpieces. Eric is very gifted at what he does. He also spends a lot of time on each session so you know he's putting a lot in to it! I will suggest that you bring your ideas to him (no matter how crazy or wacky, we had a few) and he will somehow make it happen!!!! My husband and I had a great time shooting the photos with Eric and absolutely love the final products. But you don't have to take my word for it - go check out his website and images and see for yourself. I guarantee you will never look at another wedding photo the same again.

My husband and I got married last August and we had the great pleasure of hiring Eric to capture all the moments of our special day! From the first time we met with Eric, his passion for photography was obvious. Eric was extremely meticulous when it came to his technique and the quality of the photographs he took. It didn't matter if he was taking engagements shots or up at the front of the sanctuary capturing the moment when we said "I do", all of his images were amazing. Eric has a natural gift when it comes to taking an ordinary street, building, field, or pretty much anything and turning it into the perfect setting for a photo shoot. Another thing I really liked about working with Eric was that he was also open to our suggestions and opinions. Some photographers/artists are so into their vision of things that they fail to remember whose day this really is. We never had that problem with Eric. In fact, Eric always tried to make the shoot as relaxing and fun as possible. He liked to take his time to get the "perfect" shot instead of just rushing through to get a bunch of average shots. Bottom line is that his work is amazing! His talent is extraordinary! And my husband and I are extremely grateful to have had him there to capture everything. We all know that weddings are not cheap. But it is my belief that you get what you pay for and I want to have the best memories of our special time that will last a lifetime. You can skimp on a few areas of your wedding, but your choice in photographers should not be one of them!! With Eric Younkin as your photographer, you'll never have any regrets where your pictures are concerned!!!

Eric Younkin's website caught the attention of my wife and I, as soon as we encountered it! His pictures have a style and look that many other wedding photographers are lacking. Don't get me wrong-other photographers that we looked into had some talent, but it was like comparing minor league vs. major league baseball! (And I don't even care much for sports)! Mr Younkin shot our engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures, and did an outstanding job each time that we met up with him. He has a way of making his client's feel at ease, and directs their poses and looks with the grace of someone who has been at his craft for many years. As a matter of fact, he is formally educated and has a degree in photography from a prestigious school in New York, and it truly shows. He takes his time, takes a large variety of pictures, and edits them masterfully, creating works of art that you will be proud to hang on the wall of your home. On the wedding day, Mr Younkin and his assistant Chris arrived to the venue a few hours prior to the venue's starting time, so that they could scout out all of the angles that they wanted to get covered. Everything during the wedding happened gracefully, and the photographers did an amazing job, with each of them shooting from different angles. We couldn't have been happier with our pictures! I also wanted to point out that Mr Younkin provides extremely beautiful products to purchase, and they seem to be "high end," from acrylic pictures to hang on your wall, to metal prints, to gallery wraps and an assorted of options for your wedding album. He really goes out of his way to give you the best product that he can and told us that he uses the best company for his products that he is aware of (the company is called "Millers"). All in all, my wife and I are extremely happy with the outstanding work that Mr Younkin provided, and highly recommend him any chance that we get. I'm pretty sure that he barely has to even worry about his business, because so many happy customers are spreading the good word to all of their friends. I hope that this review helps. Please trust me-this guy is a professional in a land that contains many self-taught advanced hobbyists! Eric's office is laid back, and he makes you feel at home, and lets you pick out your pictures on a large flat screen tv, or sometimes he will have you select your pictures from a server, from the comfort of your own home. His pictures look better, and you may think "man, this guys pictures are so polished/lit/arranged/edited so well that I don't know if I can afford him!!" I know, because I had that same thought. I'm so thankful that my wife wanted to just try him out. His prices are similar to other photographers, and he lets you purchase as much cool stuff as you can get your hands on. After all, these memories only happen once. Don't you want to have them preserved and backed up in the best fashion possible? I do, and am grateful that we chose Mr Younkin. We couldn't of been more thrilled with working with Eric he is a true professional. Originally we had booked the Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth for our daughters wedding, and this is where we found out about Eric because he was their preferred photographer. Naturally we called him, and he was very cordial and polite on the phone and his explanations in regards to his packages were simple and to the point. We were even able to sign our contract online with little or no hassle which was awesome because our family is very busy. He delivered our photos via an online gallery which even had a separate password for friends so that we could block photos that we didn't want them to see. We thought this was very nifty! The pictures exceeded our expectations, they were just incredible. We're so glad we upped our budget and hired Eric it was the best move we ever made. During our initial consultation we were a bit taken aback because he did exceed our budget but he made a good point in saying that once the wedding was over, and the cake is gone, the only thing left will be the photos and we owed it to ourselves to invest in the best photography. He wasn't pushy at all, just informative. He books up quick so make sure you contact him as early as possible. Be sure to tell him that Mary H sent you.

Everything went perfect from the initial consultation to the delivery of my prints and albums. My family and I were very picky on whom we chose to shoot the wedding, bridals and engagement photos, because a couple of us are professional photographers and we know just how challenging a wedding can be. Based on Eric's long list of accomplishments in the industry we decided that he had to be our photographer. When we first started looking for a photographer we were very frustrated but once we met with Eric our frustration quickly turned into exhilaration. He delivered on every level and exceeded our exceptions at every turn. Without sounding biased let me just say that if you're looking for creative, colorful and timeless cool images then look no further. I was very impressed with his proofing setup as well, Eric had a beautiful office setup with a large screen so that we could see all of our images in great detail and he had no problem spending hours with us even though he wasn't being compensated for his time. Choosing our images to be printed was easy and he held our hand throughout the entire process. I have since recommended him to a few of my friends who are all using him for their upcoming weddings. I just can't give him enough stars.

We ended up hiring Eric because we saw a magazine ad featuring his work while at a Barnes and Noble, His images just jumped off the page and when we read that he was in the Dallas Fort Worth Area we contacted him immediately. He was very polished in his service from the start to finish and I can't imagine our experience going any better than it did. I did my bridal portraits at a vintage factory and I was amazed at how prepared Eric and his team were in making sure that the session was as fun and smooth as possible. At one point Eric actually helped me fix my wedding shoes because the heel was damaged. I have to say that the photos we received from our wedding and bridal session as unbelievable. I showed all my friends my wedding album and they couldn't believe the quality and the amount of poses that we achieved. I believe that we hired the most creative photographer in the DFW area or perhaps anywhere. One of the things that really stood out to me was his knowledge of lighting. I was amazed at how beautiful he made me look, my mother and I cried the whole time we viewed the images at his office. I'm just in love with his work he's a mad genius!

Eric was a pleasure to work with. I placed a very high priority on the photography of my only daughter's wedding and he exceeded all my expectations. My daughter wanted her wedding caught as candidly as possible and in a manner that reflected 'their' day particularly. We had some trouble with weather threatening our garden wedding, but Eric took full advantage of the angry looking sky so as to enhance the photos beautifully. They came across as powerful. He was patient and giving from the moment we booked him about a year in advance and remained so throughout the process. Eric has a wonderfully artistic eye and a playful spirit that enables him to often capture the absurdity that can surround weddings.:) I would heartily recommend him to anyone. He is reasonably priced - not the cheapest so as to give a prospective client concern over quality and not exorbitant either.

Eric is an awesome photographer. We got really creative and quality photos that will last forever. He is very thorough in his shoots so they could potentially take longer than you expect, but the end results are great.

Eric has been a part of my "family" ever since he took pictures of my brothers and me in 2010. The pictures were a surprise Christmas gift for my parents, and we had a GREAT time shooting (even my teenage brothers, who were dragged along against their wills, loosened up and had a great time). Eric humored me greatly and let my 125 pound dog be a part of our shoot. Way to be patient my friend! :) When I got engaged in February 2012, I knew that my budget would be tight. I made the terrible mistake of going with a "cheaper" photographer, and my engagement photos were eh, okay. Nothing that special. I wanted AMAZING. So, we started searching and found Eric again. I have done my share of photographer shopping (as in days upon days and way too many emails to count), and I was thrilled that Eric was a) available for my October wedding and b) affordable! For real--don't shy away just because his pictures look amazingly expensive. They are amazing, AND they won't force you to blow your bank account. Win-win. Warning though--you are going to have a ridiculous time trying to decide which pictures are best. Eric went way beyond the regular point and shoot pictures. Anything I wanted, he was up for. He isn't afraid to dig in, move things around, and crawl on his belly for that awesome shot. We took so many great shots for my bridal shoot on a golf course that we had to drive back in the dark with only the light from our phones guiding us. On my wedding day, Eric showed up with an insane poison oak rash from a previous shoot. I thought he was toast, but I did not hear a single word of complaint. He and his awesome assistant Chris took over 1,300 pictures of my wedding, capturing every moment. Stop searching and just give Eric a call. He will give you straight-up answers to all your questions, and if he is your photographer, get ready. It will be awesome!

Obviously this guy is one of the best the wedding industry has to offer based on his wall of awards and accolades but he is just such a sweetheart with a heart as big of Texas! I had to write in because of my excitement in regards to my Bridal images. Eric went out of his way to use his connections which allowed us to use a fabulous bed and breakfast in the cultural distract to shoot our bridal. The owner of the establishment seemed to wait hand and foot on Eric so I knew he must be doing something right! I had a unique request, I wanted part of my bridal to be in a boudoir style and was open to his ideas for this. He ended up having pedals, industrial fans (hair blowing effect) plus many other props delivered for my shoot. This is what I call high end! We spent about three hours shooting and I must say I didn't want it to end. We joked, laughed, even cried and I came away having a total understanding why he has the reputation that he does in the industry. The photos that we did during my shoot ended up being used in advertising, not only nationally but globally- and I have to admit that all of the pictures totally exceeded my expectations. The only bad part was that I wanted all of them so I did end up spending quite a bit, but I'm okay with that you only do this once :)

All of Eric's business is word of mouth so that should tell you a little bit on how good he really is! I believe he was voted one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world recently and believe me it shows in his work. quite a few of my friends had used him as their photographer and not only were the images by far the best I've seen from start to finish, but his personality and charm really got the best out of my husband and I. We are very creative people and our search for a photographer was long and without much hope until we met Eric. We knew while talking to him at our wedding consultation he was our guy within minutes! Of all the vendors I worked with in planning my wedding, Eric was the best! He is so talented and passionate about his work! He really gets to know you and is great at getting you to relax and smile during your photo shoot. He's also a great communicator - he responds so quickly to questions!
