nd Jen would be the best for what I needed. When the girls showed up on my wedding day, they were like old friends and got along with my entire crew. Jen and Nicole helped me to look like the very best version of me...better than I had even imagined. All my girls looked beautiful. My sister, who never liked her makeup from any other artist—including her own wedding, could not believe how naturally beautiful Jen made her look. I could not recommend Nicole, Jen and Erica Does Makeup highly enough. They are prompt, professional and beyond talented. There isn’t a single thing that they could have done better. I found them on the Knot, and believe me, you will be so happy if you use them too!! Thank you girls from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like the prettiest princess in the land on my wedding day!!

esponsive to my questions beforehand so I knew what to expect. I had 4 bridesmaids. We needed to start early and had a long and hectic schedule as I was following a traditional Chinese wedding schedule with multiple locations throughout Brooklyn. We needed to start from the my parents house, visit the grooms' family at his parents' house, an outdoor bridal party photo shoot, a large dinner banquet reception and finally after party drinks at an outdoor beer garden. Needless to say, we needed our hair and makeup to last with us! Jenn was our makeup artist and Nicole was our hair stylist. Both did my trial so I knew what to expect and can make adjustments before the day of. They were both punctual for the trial and the wedding day. When we started at 6:30 AM, the bridal party was very tired and quiet. Jenn got us pumped right away, recommending to play some music. Both chitchatted with us throughout the morning, got us in the happy party mood. Before we knew it, 4.5 hours flew by and we were good to go. Sidenote: my sister was my maid-of-honor and was flying in a red eye that very morning. Her flight was delayed due to technical difficulties so I was very worried about timing. Jenn and Nicole kept me calm and let me know what was their plan of action if she was late so that we can all still be ready in time. Thankfully she arrived the nick of time. The girls looked amazing! When they were done, I had to hold back my tears because they looked so beautiful. Each girl had different length hair so it was fun to see what Nicole came up with based on their personality. They had their hair down or half up, while I wanted a bridal updo. Nicole magically provided me volume I never thought my thin hair could ever achieve. My updo complimented both my traditional conservative Chinese red dress and my white strapless wedding gown. The airbrush makeup definitely lasted throughout the day. I have a round baby face and no cheek bones. Jenn contoured my makeup flawlessly and I managed to look like a mature sophisticated bride I always dreamt of. I definitely recommend Jenn and Nicole for makeup and hair! It was such a great start to our day!

DAY OF. Both professional & fun, Erica & Krystal were so hardworking, light hearted, and energetic (Erica also prevented my potentially major bridezilla meltdown...!) Overall, they were THE BEST!

I did not want a dramatic look. Erica was perceptive and listened to me, achieving the perfect look for my wedding. A beautiful, delicate look with light smokey eyes. I did not even know such was possible! I have gotten so many compliments, I looked like myself but in my best version! I had a large group, eight girls in my bridal party, plus my mother and grandmother. Erica was always professional and kept us entertained with her personality. I have no regrets. I will definitely consider working with her in the future!

PLEASURE to work with at my trial, the months leading up to my wedding, and on my wedding day. Erica was patient, caring, and incredibly responsive with all of my questions as I was the first to get married and new to all things wedding related. On the day of she showed up with a smile, a bottle of champagne, and after talking so much about my wedding leading up to it, it was like seeing an old friend, I was so excited! With 2 hours of bridal prep left to go my hair stylist (**NOT on Erica's team**) was REALLY behind---like 5 girls to go including me behind---what did Erica do? CALL CRYSTAL from her team who drove to us and did 3 girls hair, FLAWLESSLY, and redid an unhappy bridesmaids hair of mine in no time. If that doesn't show how much this entire team cares I don't know what does. Erica not only saved the day for my wedding but contributed to the entire experience and made it so much FUN. I can't wait for my friend's to get married because after this experience they will 100% use Erica and her team :) THANK YOU ERICA AND CRYSTAL!!!!!!

Erica is the sweetest, most down to earth, charismatic person you'll ever meet and it's EXACTLY what you need on your wedding day, which (although the happiest, best day ever) can be a bit tense and nerve wracking as you're getting ready. I had gotten airbrush makeup before, but I never realized there's an extremely noticeable difference between airbrush makeup and Erica's airbrush makeup. On my wedding day, my makeup looked and felt SO natural and held up to mist and fog (at points while taking photos we were literally in what felt like a wall of water) unbelievably. Thanks to Crystal, my hair was absolute perfection, complete with real baby's breath expertly threaded throughout. My bridal party and mom all looked so perfectly pretty thanks to Erica, Crystal and Samantha that I could literally cry thinking about it! BEST TEAM EVER! xx

went so smoothly that I knew this was the right decision. Erica and Nicole did such a phenomenal job with the wedding day beauty and made all the ladies in the wedding party look even more gorgeous, and my two young nieces loved getting their hair done. They showed up on time and were able to get everyone’s hair and makeup done without anyone feeling rushed. It rained almost all day on our wedding day and we took a decent amount of photographs outside but my makeup surprisingly stayed pretty well. All of the women looked like glamorous versions of themselves without being over done, Erica definitely knows how to use make-up to enhance someone’s natural beauty. did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. A year later they worked their magic again on my wedding day, and almost two years after that, the three of us came full circle at my maternity shoot. I can’t even begin to describe how outstanding the quality of their work is. These girls are so incredibly talented. We’ve all been in a situation where we’ve had our hair and makeup done and gone home and just felt “ehh”, and then tried to fix it and made it worse . Get those thoughts out of your heads. Not going to happen! Once they’re done with you, you won’t have to think about your hair and makeup for the rest of the day. I have really oily skin (nose, forehead, eyelids), and always carry oil blotting sheets with me to use 1-2x on a normal day. I remember looking in a mirror maybe 8pm on my wedding day (after having been in a full face for close to 10 hours) and there was no oil shine in sight! I could not believe it. It was like the makeup was blessed before being airbrushed onto my face. MIRACLE. It looked just as perfect as it did when Erica applied it that morning. And one thing that I really loved and that stayed with me was that I had some makeup picture ideas that I showed Erica during my various times with her, and if she knew it wouldn’t work for my face, she would tell me, and then explain why! She won’t let you look like a fool just because you like purple eye shadow. Sometimes you just need that person to tell you no. Same thing with my hair! I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, and Nicole pulled the ideas out of my head and gave me a beautiful hairstyle that flattered my face, dress, and the overall look I was going for each time she styled me. When we had our first look reveal on our wedding day, the first thing out of my husband’s mouth was “I didn’t think you could look this good!” Lol thanks, Honey! Hahaha but he was right. I looked like the most beautiful me I could ever hope to look like. Aside from the talent that Erica and her team have, these girls are SO NICE! Funny, down to earth, and by the end of your time together, you’ll feel as though you’ve just spent the day with your good friends. Even if you have the personality of a brick, they will find a way to loosen you up and make sure you have fun and are calm on a day that can be very stressful for everyone involved. As a repeat customer, I can’t recommend Erica Does Makeup enough. They will make you the most beautiful you on one of the most important days of your life.

Erica and Crystal fit right in, almost as if we had known them for years. From a technical standpoint: I'm someone who doesn't wear much makeup and wanted a very natural look on my wedding day. Somehow, Erica and Crystal were able to achieve that natural look and still make me look like a more beautiful version of myself than I ever could have imagined. Spoiler alert: Erica's brush is actually filled with magic, not makeup. The truth: After re-reading my own review, the words don't even do them justice. The moral of the story is, book your date with Erica and Crystal ASAP so you don't miss out. You can search all you want but there's no better person for the job.

Fast forward to the week of- Erica helped me while I was stressing trying to figure out the itinerary for wedding day, and she made sure to leave enough time for getting ready (5 hours for me+8 other girls) so we weren't rushed. Day of the wedding, Erica and Crystal were timely again and very organized in how they set up in the wedding suite. They were so much fun to get ready with and especially Erica is able to adapt to the crowds level of energy. They were good sports about "dealing with" me and my group of friends who are the opposite of girly, and were able to guide us when we had questions (or difficulty with sitting still! Lol). My girls asked me where I found this company and commented they have never felt prettier. I got so many compliments, and my hair/makeup stayed allllll day until the after-party despite a few tears here and there! They were one of the best vendors and easy to work with of all the vendors we hired too.

for a second trial to ensure they looked exactly like what I was envisioning for myself. It was perfect! I worked with Erica and Crystal and I cannot say enough good things about them. They were fun to work with; after just five minutes I felt like I knew them forever, and extremely professional. You could tell that they were totally invested in ensuring I looked my very best on the wedding day. On the morning of my wedding I was EXTREMELY nervous to say the least, but Erica and Crystal did such a wonderful job keeping everything fun and lighthearted. They also worked so efficiently that it was impossible to stray from the schedule I created. I had 8 girls that needed make-up and 5 girls that needed hair services. I liked her creation even better than the picture that inspired it because it was truly me. Erica did the same with the makeup. I described the sort of look I wanted, but not with much detail. Erica worked her magic and created a wonderful wedding day look that was both natural and flattering on me. Both Erica and Crystal recreated the looks from the trial on the day of my wedding. The looks were slightly different from the trial, but in a very good way! Erica and Crystal were also so much fun to work with, so they were great matches personality wise as well! If you haven't already guessed, I highly recommend Erica and Crystal for hair and makeup!

o it was important for me to find a team that wouldn't slow everything down. Needless to say, Erica and her team were early by 5-10 minutes for both trial and wedding day. I originally knew of Erica who did my makeup as a bridesmaid for my friends wedding. Had a great experience and rapport and kept her in mind for my wedding 3 years later! I had my trial in June (my wedding day in September) and I specifically did it that day because I was attending an outdoor wedding so as to test how everything would hold up if it were my wedding and in the heat. Makeup was flawless the whole night and hair didn't budge :) Morning of my wedding, like I mentioned, they were 5 minutes early and set up promptly. Erica did makeup and Crystal did hair along with 2 others on their team - there was 10 of us to be done in a short period of time, so we had an army! Hair and makeup were prepped and then finalized. Makeup and lash application was seamless and hair was incredibly on point! I must say that I think my makeup and hair looked 10x better the day of than the trial so you can expect something even more wonderful the day of your wedding. Erica and Crystal are easy to talk to and fun fun fun! All the women in my bridal party loved their hair and makeup as well as my mother - and she's a hard woman to please :) All our family and friends were complimenting our hair and makeup the whole day! Most important thing to add and take into consideration! -- Because makeup is airbrushed, I asked Erica about tears and what to do. She said, "You catch that tear before it falls!" While I tried my best, it was hard during vows. My now husband said my face looked scary where the tears streaked down, but he said within a matter of seconds, everything blended in and didn't leave a trace! I didn't even need to touch up on anything :) So that tellsl you just how great of quality products they use and how well they apply it. As if this couldn't get any longer, they come highly recommended! It is money and time well spent to have this team take care of you - because they will.

They arranged for extra stylists and arrived super early in the day- on Halloween- to ensure all of my girls were beautiful and ready to go for our early morning photo session before the ceremony. My bridesmaids and myself provided the hair and makeup crew with pictures and verbal ideas of our visions, and they went above and beyond our expectations. The icing on the cake was the fact that all of our hair and makeup lasted the entire day- from about 6:30am through midnight, through sweat, tears, dancing, and just an all-around eventful day. My hair stayed put, my makeup did not smudge, and I felt as gorgeous as every bride should, all day long. If you truly want the best in the bridal beauty business, Erica and Nicole are THE only way to go. d I never had to wait long to get an answer. Erica did my makeup on my wedding day, and Nikki did my hair. We also had Kaitlin as an extra makeup artist and another hair stylist (I don't remember her name!). They showed up very punctually at the ungodly hour of 4:50AM, but you would never have guessed it was this early because all of them were all smiles and super chipper. I really appreciated this because I think I was still half asleep at the time! Erica and her team are so professional and so relatable. Erica is very funny, easy to talk to, and tells it like it is. On top of that, she and Nikki were able to somehow know what I would like even though I did not give them a ton of guidance. My hair and makeup was flawless and made me look amazing on my wedding day. My mom and my bridesmaids were all also very happy with their hair and makeup! Finally, Erica and her team went above and beyond on my wedding day. My sister in law had a mishap where she pretty severely stubbed her toe. We were on a pretty tight schedule, so Katilin advised us to call the ER ahead of time to see how long the wait would be/tell them that my sister in law would be coming. Long story short, my sister in law miraculously was able to get stitches from the ER and still arrive to the venue in time for photos! Thanks to Erica and her team for everything!

They got straight to work on arrival and most of my bridesmaids allowed them to do whatever they wanted in terms of makeup and hair style and all were 110% ecstatic with their final look! I changed my mind about my hair after the trial and did not really have a clear vision of what I wanted. I was having a minor panic attack inside when I told Crystal my dilemma, but she put me at ease and really worked her craft. I could not have asked for a better updo on my wedding day. Crystal exceeded my expectations far beyond what I could imagine. ALL HAIL ERICA!!!! She knows what she's doing. I put my trust in her and my makeup was the best version of myself I have ever seen. I truly felt like a beautiful princess on the day of my wedding!!! They even stayed a while to help with my veil and last minute touch ups for my mom and bridal party. I also really enjoyed the time we spent together the morning of the wedding getting ready - they both meshed really well with my bridesmaids and we all had a lot of laughs together. They were able to get 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and the bride (me) ready in about 4 hours and we each looked stunning. They really focused on each girl's unique features and skin tone to create a perfect look for that particular girl - and not force one hair style or makeup style on each girl. My makeup lasted all night (and even the foundation and lashes lasted until the next morning) and my hair did not fall. They were never pushy about payment or tips and were very easy going and fun to work with. The makeup trial at my own home was also fantastic and the fee for that trial is used as a deposit for wedding services. They did a perfect job for my wedding and I honestly wish I could hire them to get me ready every day!

ng, I booked Erica right away, and I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist. She was absolutely amazing! Every bride should feel flawless and like a superstar on their wedding day and thanks to Erica I absolutely felt that way! As a person who rarely ever wears makeup, I've been in weddings where the makeup artists wouldn't let me see myself until they were finished and at the end I would hate what they've done. Erica was so patient and understanding, she works with you so that you feel comfortable with the amount of makeup that you are wearing. She makes you still look like you, but an upgraded amazing you! Even after a whole night of dancing and sweating from all the fun, my makeup did not move, nothing smudged, nothing wore off! I don't know how she does it!
