Erica and her team were a huge part in helping make my wedding as perfect as it was! They traveled to my apartment for the trial hair and makeup and were so lovely to talk to. They even gave some welcomed wedding advice during the stressful planning process. From the very early morning start on the big day we had a fun energy that made getting ready for what’s sometimes a nervous/stressful day both easy and fun. We had 13 people get hair and makeup done and Erica and her team were efficient and effective in making sure everyone got the look they wanted, and that they looked BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend Erica Does Makeup for any event or wedding needs.

I loved working with Erica and her team! Her manager, Cam, was an absolute delight to work with. She was so communicative and sweet. It was like texting your best friend every time I emailed her. Erica and Nicole were so much fun! They brought the energy and fun while getting ready. But best of all really was our hair and makeup. I changed my mind on how to do my hair like a few days before my wedding. Nicole was so chill about it and knew immediately what I wanted when I showed her the pic. My hair turned out gorgeous. Erica did a beautiful job with my makeup. I was SWEATY all night long but my makeup looked fresh the entire night. I can never thank Erica and her team enough for making me along with my bridal party feel our most beautiful selves . Erica is not only unmatched in her craft as a makeup artist , but went above and beyond for me . She took on the role as a friend , wedding coordinator and to some extent the role as my maid of honor holding my veil & flowers during my pictures . When our wedding party bus broke down she was the first person to say I can take everyone . That in itself describes who Erica is . She has a big heart . Her main focus is making sure that the bride stays calm and everything goes according to plan even outside hair and make up . Erica also has an incredible sense of humor which is so important to calm the nerves . She had me laughing along with my parents ! If Erica + team have no fan club it’s because I’m dead. I tell everyone who will listen that she was literally my savior that day. From the first email, to setting up for the trial, to going into contract, everything was seamless, and all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. On the day of everything went great and I had Erica stay back for four hours for all of my touchups. This is where she REALLY shines. Not only is she YOUR champion but she helped get me into my dress, wrangle my bridesmaids and keep everyone (including myself) on time and in line. She carried my dress, tissues for my tears and pins for my hair. I can still hear her shouting DAB DON’T RUB!! Unequivocally the BEST vendor I booked. 100000% worth every single penny, you will have NO regrets booking her.

Erica and Devon were AMAZING and I am so glad they were a part of my wedding day. I can honestly say I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did after Erica and Devon did my hair and makeup. They really understood what I wanted, had so many great suggestions, and brought my vision to life. All my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law had equally great experiences, and Erica and Devon went above and beyond to make sure everyone loved the way they looked. They are so patient, talented and professional! And I have to add that they really do have the best energy and were SO fun to have with us all morning as we got ready. Erica Does Makeup was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. They were recommended to me by a friend who works at Vogue (quality!!!!), and I cannot express how good the wedding party looked. Almost all of my bridesmaids said it was the best they have looked in their entire lives, full stop. That's not even to mention how personable, responsive, professional and just fun the entire team was. We had the best time getting ready with them, and they really made me feel at ease amidst the chaos. I would 10000% use them again and can wholeheartedly recommend them to any future brides!

I would highly recommend Erica Does Makeup and her whole team for your wedding or any special event HMU needs! I hired the EDM team (Erika, Crystal, and 2 HMU assistants) for my wedding day for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and 3 family members + HMU trial and had a great experience. Shout out to Cam who runs their admin and is very sweet and quick with communication. I enjoyed working with them as early as my HMU trial. Erika and Crystal were flexible and travelled to my apartment for the appointment. They arrived on time and were very friendly and immediately put me at ease. I had only a few inspiration photos but with the minimal direction, they had great feel on what I was looking for and the first look they put together for me was perfect. They also took their time, which I was surprised for a trial, to perfect and finesse all the details, which I really appreciated. On the day of, the team arrived on time again. The hotel room ended up being a little tight with all the bridesmaids and family but the EDM team were really resourceful in moving around a few things to set up their space and everyone transitioned between the stations very efficiently. The artists all kept it very fun and light in conversation and all the girls loved their looks, including myself! Everything also held up all the way through the end of the night and looked great in all the photos and video. Thanks Erica, Crystal, and the HMU team at EDM!

Erica + her team were INCREDIBLE to work with!! The makeup / hair was so gorgeous but - and just as important - they were so fun to hang out with during the wedding day! Of the team, we worked with Cam (back and forth through email answering questions), Erica (makeup), and Julia (hair stylist) - Crystal helped as well (hair stylist assistant) We knew alone just from viewing Erica Does Makeup's photos of what their art looks like that they were the team we'd be going with. Our first consultation meeting with Erica was a cherry on top of their amazing first impression! Cam was nothing short of amazing with very fast, lively, and detailed responses - she was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us with so many questions we had (and we had a lottt of questions!) and she always answered them with kindness and patience Erica & Julia are both incredible at what they do - masters of their craft. My wife was looking for a natural look for Asian features and Erica certainly delivered that enhancing natural beauty sooo exceptionally well! Julia had everyone's hair looking gorgeous and sooo good. We received so many compliments and requests for the team's information for their own weddings and we have absolutely no problem backing this team and recommending them While we did pay for Erica do re-do my wife's makeup after the ceremony, Erica was SO helpful throughout the whole day in helping my wife to stay calm and to also kindly move things along for everything to be on schedule. After the ceremony, she also assisted so much in carefully guiding my wife's dress along and being on the lookout for things that need to be slightly fixed like making sure my wife's hair looked great and was placed perfectly for photos etc. Erica really has any client's back and she looked out for us!! Erica and her team were simply the best. We, just like a lot of other couples, had to postpone our wedding date twice and Erica made each date change effortless. You wouldn't have known we were in the middle of a pandemic with everyone's schedules in constant flux. Above all, Erica made me feel so comfortable, as I am usually very no-fuss about hair/make-up and also hate being center of attention. Erica was so personable and we clicked immediately and she caught on to my "no gushing, no pink, no hair tendrils" vibe. From the makeup and hair trial to the day of my wedding in September, Erica, Nicole, and Cam were amazing! Setting up my trial with Cam was easy and she addressed all my questions. For the trial Erica & Cam came to my house on Long Island, which was very convenient because I was super busy and they listened to what I wanted and provided advice on what they think would work best. I hired Erica for my makeup and Nicole for my hair immediately after my trial. The day of our wedding they were on time and really helped calm my nerves with their fun energy. My mom and bridesmaids were ecstatic about their hair and makeup. I also got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and was so happy that my makeup stayed on the entire night (without looking greasy or oily). Not to mention my hair looked beautiful for the whole night....even at our after party! I plan on using Erica and Nicole again for any future events I may have.

I would leave 20 stars if I could! Erica and her team completely knocked it out of the park for my wedding in August 2021. Every single one of the women that got their hair and makeup done were so happy and felt so beautiful. I personally don’t wear a lot of makeup, and as a bride I was really nervous I would look “overdone”, but they made us look so natural but also glam at the same time, they are so talented! Erica was very flexible in scheduling a hair and makeup trial and her team kept us right on schedule (even a little ahead) on wedding day. These ladies are the dream team and I would highly recommend them for your next event!!!!

HIRE THEM! They are incredible. I wound up working with them for over 2 years because I was a pandemic bride and I could not have asked for more amazing people. Cam is insanely responsive and so informative. They were so flexible with me dealing with new dates, locations, etc. because of Covid. When I finally got to do my trial, Erica and Nicole (both of whom would be the hair/makeup artists on the wedding day) came out to my in-laws' home and we had the best time. They listened to what I want and just nailed it. I was looking for really natural looking makeup because I don't wear much day-to-day and Erica made me look like a better version of every day me, which is exactly what I wanted. Nicole managed to make my hair look even better than the picture I showed her. The day of the wedding was the best. They were so much fun to be around, and considering you spend several hours with your hair and makeup people, this is important!! My bridesmaids RAVED about their hair and makeup - Nicole even brought extensions for my MOH because she wanted a specific hairstyle. One of my bridesmaids loved them so much she wanted to fly them to New Orleans for her wedding in 2022. They are THAT good. My bridesman even got in on the fun and had Erica do some super fun makeup on him (which photographed incredibly). My hair and make up was absolutely perfect and NOTHING moved for 10+ hours. Stop looking. Hire them. I'm certain there is no better place!!

Erica, Crystal, and the entire team were amazing! They did the hair & makeup for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother & now mother-in-law. I had a crazy time planning my wedding - we postponed for COVID, I moved across the country to California for work, and then was planning from afar. Erica & the team were so accommodating. Given that I moved across country, I figured a trial was out of the question since I wouldn't be back until the wedding, but a week before my wedding, I unexpectedly happened to be in town for 2 days, and they squeezed me in for a trial at my parent's house last minute. I was so grateful! 1 week later at our wedding, Erica arrived with a team that exceeded our expectations. I dont have the words to thank Erica for her kindness, help getting ready & for making me feel like the most beautiful bride. From the start i knew i was hiring the right person because of how responsive Cam was, & when i had to postpone due to Covid they were so accommodating & made sure to give me a spot on my new date. I cannot say enough amazing things about Erica Does Makeup! My wedding was on 9/13/20. Erica did my makeup and Nicole did my hair. First of all, they were extremely professional throughout the process. Because of the pandemic, I had many questions about safety precautions and other logistics. Cam, who works for Erica Does Makeup, was extremely accessible and helped answer my (non-stop) questions over e-mail (thank you, cam!). Second, I love that they came to my apartment for bridal trial. It made things super easy for me (I had enough stress with wedding planning) and they were super professional and, of course, did a great job. Finally, in addition to doing an amazing job with my makeup and hair, they helped calm my nerves on the big day. Erica and I talked about our shared love for reality tv shows and it helped me forget about any stress I was feeling. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup -- and i was shocked that my makeup stayed on the entire night (without looking greasy or oily) and my hair looked beautiful until the very end of the party. I would give them 10 stars if i could!

I’m so happy that I found Erica and Angel to help make my wedding makeup and hair dreams come true! They were so professional and really made me feel comfortable durning my at home trial. Their prices were really fair and accommodating, especially since I didn’t have a whole wedding party (a lot of other vendors wanted at least 3 or more people or they wouldn’t show up). They arrived early morning on my wedding day (I had an 11am ceremony) and stayed until everything was perfect. I truly felt like the best version of myself, plus both the hair and makeup lasted all day and night! It felt beautiful in person, but in the photos everything was even more stunning!

I just wanted to drop you a note that all the make-up & hair artists (Jenn, Sam, Cesar, Wallace) did a phenomenal job yesterday. After an impressive makeup and hair trial with EDM (Erica herself did my makeup and Nicole did my hair), I booked them immediately for my wedding day. They were so incredible on the day of the wedding and I am so grateful to have had them on our team. I was referred to Erica Does Makeup from a friend while planning my wedding for July 2019. They were the absolute best and I am so happy to have had them on my wedding day! I was paired with Jenn and Sam for hair and makeup. When I met them for my trial I immediately felt a sense of relief! I am so picky with my hair and makeup in general so for my wedding I knew I needed someone who would listen to exactly what I wanted, give advice on styles and just be a calming presence for me as my nerves built - and that is exactly what they were!! My hair and makeup came out FLAWLESS and stayed flawless on a hot July day. I felt so beautiful and had the time of my life. Everything was coordinated with Elaine via email, she was also heaven sent! She was always available by phone if needed, answered emails in record time and constantly reassured me everything was set! They are so talented and so sweet its like working with friends and I feel that is so important. My bridesmaids and mothers hair and makeup was also beautiful and flawless. They were able to stay at my venue when I requested extended time for touch ups. They must have been so tired being on their feet all day from the morning hours until after my ceremony/cocktail hour but were at my beck and call and never without a smile. When they had a moment to breath they walked around the venue to take pictures for me to assure me that the staff was setting everything up as I requested. Words cannot express how thankful I am for them! I continue to keep their contact info in my phone so that I can use them when I have parties to attend. Erica Does Makeup is such a fantastic company! They were always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. I loved working directly with Erica on my makeup. She and Crystal (hair stylist) came to my house for a hair and makeup trial - I felt so taken care of, not to mention they're a blast to chat with! I was a bridesmaid a couple of years ago and Erica was the makeup artist. I knew when it was my turn to get married I wanted to book Erica right away! Erica did my makeup for my engagement shoot as my trial and I immediately booked my wedding date! She not only is an expert but listens to what you like and what you don't like. I don't wear too much makeup and I just wanted to look like a "better version" of myself on the big day and Erica nailed it! All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup the day of as well! Crystal did my hair and I absolutely loved working with her l! I kept changing my mind on if I wanted up or down leading up to the wedding and she was very patient with me! I ended up going down with my hairstyle and it lasted the entire night! Erica Does Makeup was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend any bride! Erica Does Makeup was highly recommended by a coworker. I wear very little makeup on a daily basis and feel very uncomfortable when wearing heavy makeup. I did three other trials before booking with Erica and was starting to feel frustrated. I thought maybe I wasn’t doing a good job explaining the look I was going for since I don’t know much about makeup. Meeting Erica and Crystal was like a breath of fresh air. I felt like Erica knew exactly what to do with my makeup without me having to say it. Crystal tried two hairstyles and I loved both of them. I slept in the trial hair and makeup and both still looked great the next day! I was a little worried because the other trials I had done had resulted in smudged eye makeup just a few hours later. Overall I loved the hair and makeup during the trial, but I wanted to make a few adjustments the more I looked at my trial pics and the more I researched bridal looks in the months leading up to the wedding. I emailed their coordinator Elaine several times after the trial and later learned that she had been keeping notes of all my questions and thoughts...thanks, Elaine! On the wedding day, Erica and Crystal showed up on time and were very professional. We also had a lot of fun. We looked back at photos from my trial and chatted for a bit about what I liked and what I wanted to change. They totally nailed my hair and makeup! It turned out even better than the trial. They did makeup for my maid of honor, bridesmaid, and mom and everyone looked beautiful! Erica was on top of things the whole morning...I felt like she was the wedding coordinator I didn’t even know I needed! She told me how to minimize clutter in the hotel room in anticipation of the photographer and videographer arriving and taking prep shots. She was adamant that I ate lunch, made sure I used a cup to brush my teeth after lunch, and gave great direction when it came to taking prep shots. The hair and makeup held up perfectly all day and I am so grateful to Erica and Crystal for making me look and feel like my best! I highly recommend Erica and her team for bridal hair and makeup!

Dear God Erica and Crystal were a DREAM to work with. We got married on July 5th and it was hot as hell and the air conditioning in my suite was not working. Somehow Erica was able to work some kind of magic and did all of our makeup and it stayed...all...night...long. Can I tell you, I sweat more that day than any other day in my life and my makeup was intact! Crystal nailed the hairstyle all of us picked out. I can't recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Erica Does Makeup if you're looking for a hair and makeup team for your wedding! I had Crystal for hair and Marci for makeup and they were both amazing. Not only are they both very talented they were super chill and great girls to hang with while you're getting ready for your big day. They were also very prompt and on top of everything, which made my job easier and allowed the day to run smoothly. I loved how I looked at my wedding and that is all thanks to them!

We just had our wedding at the Rowsley Estate Scarsdale last month and words alone are not enough to express how happy I am I chose Erica and Nicole S to work their magic on us (myself, 3 bridesmaids, mom and flower girl)! Not only they were true artists and such blast to be with and we were so thrilled that our make-up and hair stayed fresh and beautiful until our after party!!
