Erica Ferrone Photography

asy to work with prior to our wedding, answering any questions we might have. On our wedding day, multiple guests and family members mentioned how great Erica was. I was quite nervous and stressed on our wedding day and Erica did a great job calming my nerves while we took photos. We got our wedding photos back so quickly, which was amazing. Our photos turned out absolutely beautifully, Erica found the perfect lighting and her black and white photos are stunning. I highly recommend hiring Erica for your wedding!

excitement. She was so thoughtful throughout the entire process even answering questions that had no relation to photography and offering advice that made our day complete. When it comes to photography, Erica is absolutely an expert. We had no idea what do with ourselves in photos but Erica was there to coach us through it. She curtailed the photos to our style and listened to our feedback on which poses felt most natural. Erica was patient with our two pups who were not always the most cooperative with photos. She was willing to pivot with us when rain prevented us from having an outdoor ceremony and she helped out with other little things such as zipping up my dress or helping me take out my veil. Erica was not only a vendor to us but truly a partner who was invested in creating our perfect wedding day. The photos form both our engagement photoshoot and wedding day were absolutely beautiful and she got them to us so quickly. If you're considering hiring Erica, we recommend that you do! She is wonderful!

husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera, made us laugh, and took the most beautiful photos of us and our pup. Then for our wedding she knocked it out of the park - she brought Eric and together they captured every moment in the most gorgeous way - the candids and the posed photos show the joy we felt and the fun that we and our guests had all day and night! We got out photos less than a month after our wedding and cannot stop looking through them - almost 1,000 photos, literally! Thank you Erica, for capturing our wedding so magnificently - we are already excited to do family shoots with you once our family grows!

t shoot with Erica that we were going to have the best shots imaginable. We seriously cannot get over them. I just keep looking on a loop in awe. Every single shot is so beautiful- I can’t imagine a more perfect album to capture our special day and the people we shared it with. Not only Michael and I, but also our loved ones, will treasure these pictures forever! No one does it better than Erica and no one is as lovely and comfortable to be with. She put my husband and I at ease on our wedding day and we just could not be more grateful for our entire experience with her. Thank you to the stars and back, Erica. We love you so much! 🩷

th the timeline and takes the stress completely away from the bride the day of the wedding. She was timely and the best type of perfectionist. Best of all, she is a friend- she shares the same excitement for the wedding day and she is so kind. Now on to the pictures- the engagement pictures were incredible and the wedding pictures were everything I could have dreamed about plus more!!!! Everything that you want to be captured from the day- Erica and her 2nd shooter will have it done! I have been looking through all my pictures and get so excited every single time. They are absolutely beautiful. You walk away with pictures as the biggest memory from your wedding day and Erica is perfect for the job!

immediately. From the start, Erica was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely organized and helpful throughout the entire process and was basically like a second wedding coordinator keeping everyone in place and on schedule the day of the wedding. The day before the wedding, Erica called to check in and see how we were doing. Her kindness and compassion meant the world to me and completely put me at ease. Not only was Erica the easiest person to work with, but her pictures turned out amazing!!! Erica somehow captured every little detail throughout the entire day and her turn around time of sending the 1,000+ pictures to us was incredible. She even sent a few teasers by the time we were finishing up our wedding brunch the next day!! I couldn’t recommend Erica any more and can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

being who makes you feel like you've known her for years and can get even the most camera-shy person to relax in seconds, she is so incredibly talented at capturing both traditional photos and the quiet, sweet, and quirky moments in between that are, I'd argue, the most important memories of the day. Our photos are amazing, and five stars is just not enough!

ented, but also a kind, fun, and compassionate person. We signed Erica in 2019 for an April 2020 wedding, and she worked with us to reschedule not only once, but twice, with such patience and empathy. She was always responsive, and available by cell. Leading up to the wedding and during the day of, she truly almost doubled as a planner because she was so on top of the timeline and connected with each vendor to make the day run as smoothly as possible. Then after the wedding, she was SO quick to send our album that we were able to enjoy them during our honeymoon...and they were JAW DROPPINGLY gorgeous. She captured such meaningful moments in the most authentic way - completely representative of who we are. My sister has autism and my dad has Parkinson's, so Erica was patient and supportive getting great photos with them too. My favorite photos were the spontaneous moments she captured, one walking down Hanover Street after the ceremony (which was also published in Boston Weddings magazine!) and another popping champagne outside of our venue The Liberty Hotel. I could not possibly recommend Erica any higher - she blew our expectations out of the water! You will not regret booking Erica for your special day!!!

e wedding, Erica called us with some bad news, she had COVID and wasn't able to make our wedding. We were devastated, but Erica came to us with not one, but two backup options at the ready. She handled the situation so well, coordinated with the back up photographer (Addie Roberge), and then edited all of the photos herself! Erica handled the situation so well that we didn't even have time to get stressed. AND the pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. Would 100% recommend Erica Ferrone. She was such a pleasure to work with!!

we had trouble picking one for our save the dates and thank you cards!) We booked Erica for our NYE wedding during covid. She answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. Whenever I had a question Erica was there to answer. My husband does not like taking photos but she made it fun and he really enjoyed it! Taking our engagement pictures with her (while she was also pregnant!) really helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera. The day of the wedding Erica was my best friend. Making everything fun and even calming me when some of my in-laws didn't follow to the schedule (; From our family portraits to candids of us dancing, I couldn't be happier. & thats coming from someone who HATES photos of themselves! We woke up the day after the wedding to a photo already posted on instagram! Throughout the next couple of weeks I would scream whenever I would see her tag me in something! It was so fun and exciting! The best part was, the photos were back in THREE WEEKS! This is unheard of right now with all the weddings! Erica is my forever photographer. Erica, when we start a family I will be calling you!

. She made the day so special, fun and seamless! Our photos are beautiful and we are SO happy we chose her!! Thank you Erica for the perfect day!

elt like I had known her for years. I felt so comfortable and supported by her. I was raving about her before we even got our photos back and once we did we were speechless. Absolutely beautiful. She captured the most amazing moments of our wedding day. Erica is incredibly talented and so great at what she does. She is someone everyone should have by their side on their wedding day. Erica, I can't thank you enough!!!

felt like we were re-living the best version of our wedding day. Even though I feel like the photos should be the most important part of this review, I just need to say how incredible Erica is as a person & professional. My husband and I spent our honeymoon saying that even if we only got a handful of good photos it was still worth having Erica as our photographer. I didn't realize before how big of a role the photographer's energy and personality shapes your day but given that I spent just about as much time with Erica as my husband I guess it makes sense! Erica was SO energetic, positive, and optimistic and never missed an opportunity to shape a great shot. I am so incredibly grateful that we found and hired her and you will be too!!!

ve her a shot for our engagement photos down on Cape Cod. From the moment we met Erica we just clicked she made the session so seamless and fun - the pictures turned out beautiful! After that session we knew she had to photograph our wedding. What's awesome about Erica is she truly cares about her couples. Leading up to the big day she makes sure you feel calm and at ease. My husband and I had three or four touch bases with her prior to the big day to make sure she captured all moments we wanted and additional logistics. The day of was so much fun and seamless - we really can't say enough about how much we love Erica and her work. We can't wait to work with her down the road to capture future milestones!

r me to put into words what an incredible gift she has been, but let me say this: like so many other 2020 couples, we had to postpone our full celebration to 2021. Throughout this process, Erica kept us updated constantly and truly became a source of relief from the logistical nightmare of postponing. We would not have moved forward with a new date if it meant losing her - I hope that is a testament not only to the quality of her photography, but to how much she as a person will add to your experience on your wedding day. While we postponed the full celebration to 2021, we had a micro wedding with just Erica and our immediate family on our original date - and she did not disappoint. She immediately became part of the family, captured amazing photos, and documented a unique and joyful experience with such grace. So I could go on and on about how great Erica is, but in the end it comes down to a few key things that make her unbeatable: 1) Erica captures who you are. I've never felt more myself in pictures. 2) She is extremely detail-oriented and organized so you won't worry for one second about your timeline or getting the right pictures. You will be glad to have her with you all day! 3) Her sense of color, light, and angles is stunning. Your photos will be radiant.

ne of the best decisions my husband and I made. When we first met with Erica she welcomed us into her home and made us feel like we've been friends for years. We of course knew how talented Erica was from the very beginning but when we received our wedding pictures (within 2 weeks!!) we were speechless. Going through each picture truly brought me to tears because Erica was able to capture the most beautiful and intimate moments throughout the day. Her presence on the wedding day was exactly what you would expect or hope for - someone who radiates with positivity and is not pushy by any means. Erica made sure she captured all the family portraits we requested and was extremely organized and efficient so that we could begin our cocktail hour. She has a very creative eye and incorporates a variety of angles and unique backgrounds. When we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our large wedding Erica was very flexible and accommodating. Everyone's health and safety was our top priority and Erica was very understanding of that and wore a mask the entire day (mind you it was a VERY warm summer day!). She made us feel at ease while also making sure she followed all the right precautions. It's difficult to trust a strangers testimony but I promise you that Erica is the most talented photographer out there and hiring her will be the best decision you make! I just love her so much and can't wait to continue working with her next year at our large wedding celebration!

rsonality instantly put me at ease and she was so easy to talk to. I was a little nervous because my husband doesn't always like getting is picture taken, and Erica went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. It felt like a close friend was taking our picture! She not only was the best photographer, but she made sure our day ran seamlessly and everything was on time! She even stepped in to help through out the day with stuff like removing my veil and helping me put on my shoes! I'm absolutely obsessed with all of my wedding photos, and it's all because of Erica!

re blessed enough to have two of our best friends (also in the wedding) recommend their wedding photographer. Little did we know we were getting someone who not only is insanely talented (you wont believe the quality of her work) but someone who would make planning and our day so much fun. I'm type A, I worry about absolutely everything, and I've planned events most of my life. Erica helped make it so easy and put together that I could breath, drink champagne, and just feel so beautiful all day. She is a lifelong friend, not just a vendor. She is worth every.single.penny. Don't forget - after the guests go home and the gown has been dry cleaned and everyone forgets the catering - your photos are what you have. Erica will make sure you have photos you are proud to show for generations to come. Thank you Erica!!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING.

larly! Their photos will forever be treasured. We can’t thank them enough!!!

oked at, but she was worth every penny. Leading up to the event she was so incredibly helpful, professional, and timely in all of her communications, which in our one-time experience with wedding vendors is pretty special. The day of she managed both sides of the family brilliantly, and not only did a great job with the standard bride/groom+family planned shots, but really stood out in the candids she took both of us and of our guests. Also, there was big concern the weather was going to force us to relocate the outdoor ceremony we had planned, and Erica helped everyone stay level-headed throughout. In the days after the event she was still very responsive and turned around our photos in like a week! My wife was extremely happy with the way she looked in all the photos (and she doesn't often think that!). And did I mention that Erica was also just so kind? My wife and I would definitely want to be like regular friends, she was that personable and fun. Again, we could not recommend her enough. It's worth mentioning that my wife's brother, who got married a few years ago, mentioned many times how impressed he was with Erica's ability to manage all the people for the family portraits.

nal. From her energy to her guidance (her timeline saved me so much time and anxiety, and was incredibly helpful in finalizing timelines with other vendors), Erica’s expertise extends beyond the camera. She has the ability to blend in while capturing the perfect shot and popping in with advice exactly when needed. Erica‘s photos are beyond beautiful and showcase how we all felt that day. They truly are a treasure of memories that bring me back to the happy moments whenever I glance at them. Our friends & family continue to comment about how wonderful she was that day and that they’ve never seen such beautiful wedding photos. In less than 24 hours she’d sent us a beautiful shot for us to enjoy before we left for our honeymoon and within a couple weeks she’d shared our entire collection. I’m astounded by how quickly we received our photos (I often hear of people waiting months and months). Her editing style is so consistent. I feel truly blessed to have had her with us that day. When searching for a photographer, we originally had a lower budget but after seeing her work and speaking with her, we knew we just could not pass her up and I am sure I will forever be grateful that we went with Erica. Her work speaks for itself, but her friendliness and ability to ease an anxious bride are like the cherry and all the fixings on top!!! PS: I should add that it was a brutal 100 degrees on our wedding day. Somehow, the heat did not slow her down one bit!

d fun and has an incredible eye for lights, colors, and angles. She gave excellent direction for family/party photos and couples photos. She gave us some preview photos days after the wedding and even got our photos back to us earlier than expected! She was such a pleasure!

connected with her, I knew I wanted Erica as my wedding photographer. She has the most friendly, kind, and bubbly personality and you immediately feel like you're reconnecting with an old friend when talking to her. She has a special way of getting to know her clients and it shows in her work, as she truly captures the essence of who you are together as a couple. When taking our engagement pictures, my husband and I were immediately comfortable around her and she instantly got us to open up, laugh, and be ourselves in front of the camera. All of her images were breath taking and we had such a hard time choosing which ones we liked the best! Between the shoot and the wedding, she would consistently check in to see how the planning process was going, to answer any questions I might have had, and to offer her help in any way. Her passion and love for her job and her couples shines through in all that she does! When it came time for my big day, Erica arrived early and couldn't be more happy for me. She immediately connected with my friends and family and helped share in the excitement of the day, keeping us on time and capturing all of the little moments as we got ready, getting the perfect combination of posed and candid shots. Through out the day, she would routinely check in to make sure we were sticking to our plan and that she got any and all the shots that I'd wanted. She also communicated with the other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and the night went flawlessly. The next morning, I woke up to see a stunning sneak peak of our wedding photos on her Instagram page and had all of my photos in less than two weeks!!!!! Not only is Erica INCREDIBLY talented, she is an incredible person and you would be lucky to have her be apart of your big day! BOOK HER NOW!!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

and made us feel as though she was truly invested in helping capture every moment of our wedding. She did not disappoint! Our wedding guests consistently said she was phenomenal and we couldn't agree more. Her second photographer, Addie, was also top-notch and the guys loved working with Addie on the big day to capture them getting ready prior to the ceremony. Great photographers and highly recommended!

will ever meet. Erica was referred to me by a friend and as soon as I met her, I knew that she would be the perfect photographer for my wedding. Neither my fiance nor I like to be the center of attention and Erica set us completely as ease. From the moment she arrived at the hotel, to the final pictures of the evening, Erica was encouraging, kind and just so much fun to be around. And the pictures... they are spectacular. If you want more than just the traditional shots - pictures that capture the spirit of your wedding - you could not have a better photographer. I highly recommend Erica and, as others have said, I only wish there were more stars to give!

ergy, spirit, creativity, goodness, and humor. From that first phone call all the way until our last hug when she left our wedding, Erica was nothing short of perfect -- professional, kind, thoughtful, supremely talented, and just all around wonderful to work with and be with. Every single person in my wedding party gushed about how easy and laid back she was, how naturally she fit into the day, and how she kept us all in line and on time! Erica also was super flexible -- totally open to our ideas and opinions and totally invested in our comfort and happiness every step of the way. I highly recommend doing an engagement photo session with her, given that's a great way to get to know one another and get a sense of her style and how you'll work together the day of. Also, we included Erica's talents in our rehearsal dinner so that she could capture some of those special moments, too. Again, she was perfect -- always in the right place at the right time somehow! I could gush about Erica all the day long, but really, what you should do is stop reading this review and contact her immediately. You'll gain not only a phenomenally talented photographer but also a new and wonderful friend.

st want pictures, we wanted someone to capture moments, and real emotion and I can honestly say Erica nails it, and does so seamlessly and enthusiastically. More often than not, the finished product will take you aback, she just has this way of using the light, and the scenery to make it impossibly beautiful. Like 'blow-it-up-poster-size-and-cover your-wall-with-it, kind of beautiful :) I remember the first time I met Erica. I was alone because my fiancé had to work. As soon as I left her house I called him and GUSHED that I had found our photographer. I was worried because he's camera shy but she won him over fast. We had a drink before our engagement shots, to break the ice. Then we walked all over the city. In the end we were laughing like old friends. The day of the wedding it felt like she was everywhere. Taking shots of our invites, and jewelry, the flowers and venue as well as being totally present with my girls and I. She kept the whole day running on track, and kept me calm, smiling and sane. Best part, she had our images ready for us the day we returned from the honeymoon, and they were absolutely beautiful. Erica is amazing!

ad you there to make are day more perfect than we ever imagined. You are so organized, kind, considerate, and fun. You made the planning process as easy as could be with your organization, timelines, communication skills, excitement, and kindness. Thank you for keeping me personally way more relaxed and making all photos that needed to happen, happen. We received so many compliments about you at the wedding and the amazing job you were doing. Thank you for sending our summertime off with a bang and I hope the rest of your summer is amazing. We so look forward to seeing the other photos and I know they will be just spectacular. You are THE BEST and again, thank you for making the best day of our lives a dream come true. Sincerely, Pat & Kat Smith

lessly in with my wedding party and family. She knew exactly how to take all the pictures we wanted without making us feel overwhelmed. She delivered all of her stunning photos to use within a month of our wedding date! I would suggest her to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!

an enthusiastic bride (I use phrases like "wedding industrial complex") but Erica was great at building up excitement for the wedding and was instrumental in helping the day go seamlessly. She was just so upbeat and supportive! By the end of the day, she was practically a member of the wedding party. Everybody loved her. Thanks for helping make the day go so well! Can't wait to look at the photos!

work with! I shared with her my Hollywood wedding theme and we exchanged pictures, Pinterest ideas, etc...she was so giving of her time and ideas for our special day. The best advice she offered was doing "First Look" pictures. I was hesitant to do it because I wanted my husband's first look to be of me coming down the aisle. She guaranteed that it would still be a special and separate moment, and given the timeline that our wedding was on, we might be hard-pressed to find dedicated time for just us, away from the crowdds. (BTW, she was absolutely right on both counts!) Plus, it was an evening wedding in November, so it was great to capture some beautiful autumn sunset pictures before "Snowmageddon 2015". On the day of, she was there right on time with her second photographer who was going to hang with the guys. It wasn't until I saw the proofs that I truly realized how "in the moment" she was throughout the night. I barely knew she was snapping pictures, as she was on the dance floor, mixing at the tables...she was ninja-like with her ability to move undetected! Moreover, after the ceremony, I forgot to have my flats brought down to the reception--she tracked down my sister, zipped to my room, found the shoes, and had them ready at our sweetheart table. Those are the little things you'll never forget. Erica was the topic of conversation at all my post-wedding get-togethers because she was so nice and professional, and once we saw the proofs (which she turned around so quickly!), I knew I had a friend for life! All of this to say, if you are looking for a photographer who gets your vision, is professional, thoughtful, and does an amazing job capturing your special day, do not hesitate to contact Erica Ferrone Photography. She is THE best! (And is now a friend of mine!)

liments!

for pictures she would make it work. And she did! We received our edited photos back from Erica in only a few weeks time and they are beautiful. We could not be happier with the finished product and would highly recommend Erica!

he was able to capture moments that we will cherish forever. We are so happy with this experience and continue to recommend Erica! Absolutely Amazing!

ront, and we knew instantly that they were the right match for us. Erica, the business owner, wasn't available to shoot our wedding. But we worked with her associate photographer's, Julie and Lucie, and they had a very similar style as Erica. The results were exactly what we wanted. Julie and Lucie were polite and professional, and were easy to work with. They captured so many creative and unique moments of our wedding and I really couldn't be happier. I would recommend Erica and her team to anyone looking for a moderately priced package with innovative and high quality results.

try plenty of her own. On the day of the wedding, Erica was prompt, present and provided perfect coverage of all guests and events. She’s also a super bridesmaid! She did everything from help me fix my hair to making sure we had a bottle of water after our receiving line. She delivered our photos ahead of schedule, and through her skill at capturing and digitally polishing the images, they looked incredible. We were so happy with our photos and our album. Erica is amazingly talented, enthusiastic and has a wonderful energy about her. She was everything we were looking for in a photographer and more and we highly recommend her.

penny!

ics. And I she definitely has an eye to capture great pictures! Only downfall, she was not cheap.

ery magical moment of my wedding I was amazed by all the photos she took. My favorite pictures were the ones taken outside in the snow!! They were all beautiful the hardest part was choosing which ones put into the custom designed album. She offers many different packages and options.

breast on what is going on as her assistant shot my husband getting ready and Erica shot me and my bridesmaids. She is so creaitive in choosing locations to take pictures. I wanted natural looking photos that made my husband and I look like we look everyday - and that is exactly what we got and more. We felt so comfortable with her the entire time. Her photos from the Reception are great! She totally captured every detail of the wedding and then some. We've received so many compliments on the photos. I highly recommend her!

an end. You spent 100 hours finding the perfect dress, days upon days creating the perfect arrangement for the center pieces. You went back and forth and back and forth about which bridesmaid dress was right, and drove mile after mile looking at venue after venue...All the time spent trying on, driving, deciding, arranging, etc. was all to make sure everything was perfect for the most important 6 hours of your life. All of that, for just 6 hours. The dress will go in a box and be forgotten. The centerpieces will die in a week. The bridesmaids will certainly never wear their dresses again. People won't really remember the venue, they will remember the moment, but not really the venue. So then, if you spent all this time and effort making sure everything was perfect for that 6 hour moment, does it not make sense to make sure you have the best possible wedding photographer you can have to capture all these details you spent so much time making perfect? Your wedding photos, after all, are going to be one of the ONLY things you actually have from your wedding day. They are your memories that you will actually hold, look at, and cherish. You are not going to show your co-worker who wasn't there your actual dress, or bring in one of the center pieces for her to see. You are going to show her all your photos and show her how beautiful and perfect everything was. Here's the problem: A bad photographer is not going to capture the beauty and feeling of your day. Anyone can take a photo. It is not about just taking a photo. It is about capturing a moment, that when viewed, evokes the emotion of your most special day. Each image should capture your love, your happiness, your amazement. Only a talented photographer can do this. Erica Ferrone is easily one of the best wedding photographers in Boston. I think her work speaks for itself. I think anyone can look at Erica's work and "feel" the image. Erica is a true artist, and you will "feel" every moment she captures. You want a photographer that you "click with." This is important because you want to feel comfortable with them there. I don't see how you could not get along with Erica. No matter the whether conditions, the time of day, drunk relatives, she is smiling, and she is loving her job. She has one of the sweetest dispositions. You want a photographer who uses an assistant. Erica always uses one, and it is always someone of her same caliber. You want more than one angle of that incredible moment. You want a close-up shot of your face and your bride's reaction also. Lastly, you want someone who listens. There are certain images you want, and you want a photographer who will take these shots, even if it isn't their "style." Erica will do anything, and do it superbly and she will make you happy. She understands you are the client. Lastly, you are on a budget. Erica might be the most reasonable photographer of her caliber anywhere. After getting our images back, I would have paid her twice as much if I could have afforded it. If you are trying to decide between her and another who is $500 less, you are being stupid. Seriously. How much was your dress? I have referred some of our newly engaged friends to Erica and I actually gave them a money-back guarantee. Honestly. I am that confident in her work.
