You want your photographs to tell a story of your wedding day. Picking the right photographer has SO much to do with that. I want you to feel like you are talking to a friend, someone that has your ideas and vision at heart. I capture images on film and digital to create a soft and romantic feel while still including my vibrant notes.
Throughout the day I engage with my couple and their guests, encouraging them to relax and have fun in front of the camera. This leads to natural, candid shots that truly capture the joy of the occasion. Candids help to create a sense of timelessness and elegance that will endure long after the wedding day has passed. I will curate a collection of images that perfectly capture the spirit of the occasion, while also providing a lasting visual record of this special moment in the couple's lives.

Congratulations if you've been recently engaged and in the process of planning your amazing wedding day!! This is such an exciting time, and I hope you're loving every minute of it!
I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Maryland, but regularly travel along the east coast to document life celebrations.
Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I studied photography in high school. Learning on film helped me understand light and composition. I have traveled all over the world (21 countries down!) with family and friends, taking pictures to remember the events that took place.
In my free time, I obsess over my dog Barclay, drinking an Aperol spritz with friends, and watching Bravo. I'm always thinking about the next place I'll travel and experience

We just got married last week and Erica sent more sneak peek photos that I expected which was so amazing because we couldn't wait to see! I have to praise not only her editing style but the shots she was always ready for that were unplanned. On our wedding day the weather was awful and downpouring without an end in sight. I was sad that we probably were not going to get great photos, but Erica worked her magic and the photos we did get in the rainy weather are magical and beautiful, I could cry because I never even imagined it possible in that rain. My husband and I decided to have a small wedding ceremony in May 2020 and so hired Erica for an "elopement package." Even though I had to do my hair & makeup and find a less favorable dress, our photos turned out amazing! We received so many compliments on the pictures she took. Erica has a true talent for photography, and it shows in her work. We hired her AGAIN for our wedding celebration in June 2021. We just received our pictures and, WOW! She did it again!
Erica has been with us through it all! To have her alongside us throughout this journey has been remarkable. Erica made us feel comfortable and at ease during each session. Once I met Erica in person, I knew she was hired for our wedding even before we finished with our meeting. She's got a great personality and photography is clearly her passion and talent.
The engagement photos were a great way to learn how to pose for photos and the little tricks of the trade to making sure photos came out great.
The wedding day came - despite COVID - Erica was on time, professional, communicated well, moved portrait photos along (while capturing all of our asks) and really was a special part of our day. Erica worked well with all other vendors and even our videographer expressed how great she was.
If you are looking for someone who makes you feel at ease, comfortable and is fun to work with, hire Erica. Her photos are stunning and they were returned within the timeframe the contract stated. Very impressed!
