We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Erica on our wedding day! We planned from out of state and did not get to meet her until the day of, but we were so plea...
sed to have her there. She handled our large wedding party and families with grace, was fun and efficient, and had such a calming presence. To top it off our wedding photos turned out AMAZING! Anyone thinking about working with Erica should definitely go for it!
Erica was fantastic!!! We were able to get to know her at our engagement shoot, and she was so sweet and friendly! Then....we got our pictures, and were floored with how amazing ...
they were!! She's so talented and highly recommended! Plus, you get the rights to your photos after, so you don't have to pay exorbitant prices for prints after the fact!
I can’t say enough good things about Erica. As a person, and as a photographer. She is one of the most talented photographers I’ve seen and we were so lucky to have found her. She ...
was the first “vendor” we picked when we started the wedding planning process, because capturing such a special moment in our lives was the most important to us. We knew after meeting her and seeing her work that there was no one else who would be a better choice for us. We didn’t even have a venue yet! She just has such a sweet personality, she is so humble and gracious about her amazing work. We actually decided to have a destination wedding in California, and she was willing to fly out and photograph our day! And WOW! We couldn’t believe how much fun we had with her throughout the day. She made us feel like we were long-time friends. We were so comfortable and she just directed us through the whole process and it was a BLAST!!! When we saw a preview of the photos, we were BLOWN AWAY. I didn’t even know she was taking half of the ones she did. She captured the best moments, amazing details…. She sees everything in such a different way. She also photographed our wedding reception a month later, and I can’t even put in to words how happy we were with the photos from that as well. The candid shots of our guests just truly captured the night and it is a memory we will never forget, thanks to Erica. The photographs are incredible and unique and not only reflected our wedding day, but stand as true pieces of art that I will enjoy forever. We can’t thank you enough Erica, from the bottom of our hearts!! Although your work speaks for itself, I would recommend you to EVERYONE!
Without a doubt, Erica was my favorite wedding vendor. To the point where I asked her to go to dinner after the wedding was over! She couldn't be sweeter or more talented. She h...
as such an artistic eye, but very much lets you choose what kind of pictures you're looking for.
On our wedding day, it was like having a friend there. She kept everyone calm and kept pictures moving quickly. She captured simple moments in the most beautiful way. She recently moved to Alaska, but it would be worth your money to invite her back to Chicago for your wedding photos.
With such talent, you'd expect her prices to be ridiculous and they were the most fair I found in my (extensive) search.
Thank you, Erica for allowing us to continuously relive our special day through your beautiful pictures.
Erica is an extremely talented and detail oriented photographer. The first time I met Erica, she had a very organized system to learn more about me and my event. She was extremel...
y quick to reply to my emails and was always available to answer all my questions. Erica did our engagement pictures as well and the entire experience was relaxed and fun. At our wedding, Erica was a quiet observer who got all of the right pictures. During the actual ceremony I didn’t even realize that she was there but the pictures turned out great. I had a long list of family pictures that I wanted (lots of divorced parents), but Erica moved through the list quickly and the resulting pictures are priceless. Every single picture Erica took was natural, fun and beautiful. An added bonus was that we received the disc with all of our pictures less than 3 weeks after our wedding. Erica was the very first vendor that we chose and I never once changed my mind or doubted my decision. Erica is talented, organized, and a very calm presence during what can be a stressful process.
I cherish all of my pictures so when it came time for me to get married I wanted to be very sure that we had a great photographer to capture beautiful pictures on our wedding day. ...
My husband and I chose Erica Rose who not only met but exceeded our expectations.
Erica is super friendly, sweet and knows what she’s doing when it comes to wedding pictures. She was very professional in our meetings before the wedding and listened and was open to all suggestions that we had. When it came time for the wedding, she showed up on time was punctual and was super kind to everyone. She toured us around great places downtown to take pictures highlighting the city I was looking for a mix of candid/photojournalistic and posed shots and she delivered a great combination of both. Check out her website. The pictures speak for themselves. She’s amazing!
She has a super quick turnaround for pictures also! Within a few days we saw a preview of our pictures and within 2 weeks we received the disc of all of our pictures. We loved every single one of our shots and we received a lot of compliments from our friends and family on what beautiful wedding pictures we have. Every time I look at my wedding pictures I smile. Thanks Erica for capturing amazing moments from our special day .

he spot. Last September she shot our engagement photos which really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures were wonderful and we were excited to have her shoot our wedding. It's been two weeks since our wedding and Erica has already sent us a sneak peek of the pictures. We are amazed at the quality and are looking forward to seeing the rest. We had a lot of DIY elements that she was able to capture as well as many candid moments. We would definitely recommend Erica to anyone looking for truly beautiful photography.

he has a great personality and not only is she sweet and kind, but she's also direct and is able to take charge so you have fabulous photos. She was also very fast at getting a sneak peak of a few photos up on her blog.
My husband & I would highly recommend Erica to all couples!
Erica is totally gifted. Please see her website! She knows how to capture people in the moment at the right time without it looking awkward or forced. She is not one of those photo...
graphers that are going to be in your face the entire wedding--you'll hardly notice she's there! She's sneaky in taking her shots, which is good! Her photography packages are totally customizable, but before you start to twitch from looking at her prices, hear me out: SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. You won't have to worry about her not showing up, or wonder what the quality will be like. Working with Erica Rose was like working with someone I've always known. My husband and I were very comfortable shooting with her.
We were so blessed to have Erica agree to photograph our destination wedding in Los Cabos Mexico, on Feb. 2, 2011. Erica was a real addition to our wedding group of 37 people! She...
was professional, fun and very creative. My husband Who hates photos, commented on how easy it was to work with Erica because she is flexible with her ideas and she makes you feel so at ease, you hardly recognize the camera is there. The photos turned out stunning and she was a real pleasure to work with! I would hire Erica again in a heart beat! Our friends and family LOVE the wedding photos and I have had a lot of inquiries about who our photographer was. You will not be disappointed!
We loved Erica's style! Our photos and album turned out great!

er with how they turned out. She has such a creative eye for details and really captured so many amazing candids throughout the night. In addition to her extremely great work, she was also so genuinely sweet and awesome to work with. We couldn't be happier!
We got married on 9/25/10 and had Erica as our photographer. I truly cannot say enough on how incredibly talented she is! Not only is her talent abundant but she is such a sweet ...
person too. She knew all of my family member names and made everyone feel so comfortable when their photos were taken. She took the time to learn about me and my husband and how we met, etc. I've never seen photos that are so unique and atristic. Erica has a natural talent that is aparent in her photos. I will recommend her to everyone I know whether they need family photos, wedding photos, special event photos done...it doesn't matter she's the one you'll want to document your special day. We love you Erica!
Having just gotten married, I get a lot of questions from future brides about the who/what/where/when of the vendor world, and the first thing I say is, "You have to get Erica Rose...
." I realized as most brides do AFTER the wedding that little turns out as you pictured and planned it. Erica was one of the few exceptions. The pictures turned out beautifully and had the exact feel/look I was hoping for. Erica's work has a fresh, modern, feminine, creative look to it. In searching for a photographer, you view a lot of stale, posed photographs that look so distant and give no real insight into what was going on at that moment and what sort of emotions were being felt. In looking at Erica's pictures, you really see the people, feel the emotions, and appreciate the setting. In addition to the high quality of work, Erica is incredible to work with. Many people commented on how much they liked her approach to taking pictures throughout the wedding. Highly, highly recommended. And this comes from someone often too lazy to actually write a review.
Erica Rose was the third vendor we booked (after the Church and Reception venue) because photography was so important to us. We met with Erica in September of 2009; she was the fir...
st photographer we met with and definitely left an impression on us. There are many talented photographers in Chicago but what makes Erica stand out is her personality. I’ve always heard that you should “make sure you get along with your wedding photographer because they are going to spend all day with you.” Erica is definitely someone you want to be around you on your wedding day. My husband and I had never had a portrait session before so we expected the engagement session to be awkward. Erica made us feel so comfortable and we got along with her so well during our engagement session that I knew we would both feel comfortable in front of the camera on the wedding day. She was so calm and laid back and made everyone feel at ease. We hardly noticed her throughout the day (in a good way!) and everyone was able to act naturally, which is why she was able to capture the feelings/emotions of the day on camera so well. At the last minute, the church told us we only had 15 minutes for pictures after the ceremony (instead of the original 30 minutes). She got all of the important pictures we wanted and was able to coordinate 20+ people (including crabby little kids). She posted some pictures on her blog within a week of the wedding and we were stunned at how they turned out. We received the rest of the pictures within 3 weeks and of course they were phenomenal.
I used Erica Rose Photography for my June 12th wedding and she did an amazing job! She was such a pleasure to work with and her relaxed approached was appreciate by all who were at...
the wedding. Her style is very fresh, candid, creative and natural. She truly captures the "real" feel of the day. The photos turned out so beautiful...I couldn't have been happier with them!!
