I am Erica, a natural light photographer that specializes in serving couples in love throughout Northern California and beyond.
While weddings can be so much fun to be a part of, there is so much more about wedding days that I truly care about.
I believe in love, marriage, and trusting relationships. I come from a family who's marriages go back hundreds of years and not a single failed marriage runs through my family tree. I was taught that if you want some thing to last you work hard at it and never give up. I love to work with couples who cherish marriage in the same manner as I do.
I'd love to be there on your special day to capture the love between you both. Please, allow me to document your memories for your future children and grandchildren to see, to look back on and be a reminder of what marriage is truly about. The flowers, dress and cake aside, a couple who cares more about getting to say "I do" is my kind of couple!

cided to book with Erica and Miguel, I had a phone consultation with Erica. Erica was super organized and on top of everything, which showed how much experience she truly had.
On the day of my wedding, they showed up early and with such positive and bright attitudes! They kept us moving, without being too pushy, in order to keep the timeline as close as possible to what we planned which was amazing!
I have to say, the thought of being the center of attention and having photographers following me all day had me so stressed out! But Erica and Miguel were so comforting, complimenting and so professional that there was nothing awkward about it! They hustled the whole time, and we made them work that day, but they still managed to be so sweet and loving with each other that it kept the vibe so positive and lovely!
And now for the most important thing, the photographs. When I say these photos were amazing, it is no understatement! Although I’ve only received our previews, I am so in love with them. I have received so many compliments on our photographs and it’s no surprise, these two are talented!! Their vision and attention to detail really shined through and I could not be any happier that we selected them and that they agreed to work with us!

My fiance and I wanted someone to capture portraits at the beautiful San Francisco City Hall and Erica was able to capture all of our wonderful moments perfectly. This was our first time getting professional photos taken of us so we were nervous about what poses to do. She guides you in all of your poses so you don't have to worry about that part at all. She also captures some of your candid moments which are so great to look back on. She made the entire photoshoot so much fun! After we received our edited photo gallery, we were soooooo impressed by all of the photos. She has a light and airy feel to her editing which was exactly what I was looking for. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Erica.

You spend so much time with your photographers on your wedding day, so I would really suggest finding someone you feel comfortable with. Me and my husband reflected on our wedding day and were soooo happy that we had Erica and Miguel by our side! After we received our photos we were over the moon with them! a calming presence amidst the chaos of the wedding. They are incredibly professional and take their jobs seriously, they went out of their way to scope out the engagement shoot location and the wedding location beforehand to ensure we got the best photos. They were also so patient with all of our questions (we had a lot!) and put us at ease during the photo sessions, which really helped me and my husband look more natural in our photos!

e that was extremely emotional and unbelievably stressful, Erica provided flexibility along with a very warm and welcoming personality that kept my husband and I at ease. I was a bit concerned about how the lighting and shadows from our fence and pergola would affect the pictures on the day, but Erica and Miguel assured me that they would work through it. On the day of the wedding, Erica and Miguel were super detailed and thorough, making sure they captured all the photos we had asked for. Being a team of two really helped because they were able to work through the tricky lighting to capture some really amazing pictures! I was overwhelmed with everything going on about the pandemic and rescheduling dates (for who knows when) that I thought for a moment that my husband and I were not going to be able to have our special day captured. However, Erica made sure that if she could be there for us she would (safely following regulations of course). Although only my immediate family was present, my wedding was perfect! And the pictures Erica and Miguel captured will be a memory we will forever be able to look back to. ours. When you talk about wedding vendors going above and beyond, Erica Vernis (and her husband Miguel) are the exemplars. They blended perfectly into our wedding party and kept us happy and in good spirits the entire day. And, after only having done one professional shoot before this, they made sure we were comfortable with the process, and honestly, they made the process of these pictures so seamless and fun. We never once felt like we were out of place or not looked after in their hands. Furthermore, they split themselves up and went to multiple venues throughout the day to make sure every part of our wedding was covered, particularly when my bride and I were in separate places getting ready. We cannot recommend Erica enough and would love to work with them again the future. Can we also rave about the quality of the pictures? Talk about perfect shots in a massive album that we will look back on the rest of our lives.

Erica was prompt with her responses via email (always appreciated when you’re planning a wedding) and was extremely helpful with figuring out logistics, such as suggesting a location and attire for the engagement shoot and providing us with a sample timeline for the wedding. During the engagement shoot, she showed us poses that we’d do on the big day so that we’d feel more comfortable, which ended up being so helpful! Erica had never been to our venue before, so she came to see it during our rehearsal so that we could walk through the logistics together. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how Erica and Miguel made everyone feel so comfortable the entire night. We just received our wedding pictures (on the exact day she’d promised she’d send them) and we can’t stop looking at them!!! They are simply beautiful. Somehow they caught every special moment, big and small.
