About this vendor
I am Erica, a natural light photographer that specializes in serving couples in love throughout Northern California and beyond.
While weddings can be so much fun to be a part of, there is so much more about wedding days that I truly care about.
I believe in love, marriage, and trusting relationships. I come from a family who's marriages go back hundreds of years and not a single failed marriage runs through my family tree. I was taught that if you want some thing to last you work hard at it and never give up. I love to work with couples who cherish marriage in the same manner as I do.
I'd love to be there on your special day to capture the love between you both. Please, allow me to document your memories for your future children and grandchildren to see, to look back on and be a reminder of what marriage is truly about. The flowers, dress and cake aside, a couple who cares more about getting to say "I do" is my kind of couple!

Erica and Miguel came highly recommended by a friend who is also in the wedding industry. After looking at photographs of their past work, I immediately understood why!

cided to book with Erica and Miguel, I had a phone consultation with Erica. Erica was super organized and on top of everything, which showed how much experience she truly had.
On the day of my wedding, they showed up early and with such positive and bright attitudes! They kept us moving, without being too pushy, in order to keep the timeline as close as possible to what we planned which was amazing!
I have to say, the thought of being the center of attention and having photographers following me all day had me so stressed out! But Erica and Miguel were so comforting, complimenting and so professional that there was nothing awkward about it! They hustled the whole time, and we made them work that day, but they still managed to be so sweet and loving with each other that it kept the vibe so positive and lovely!
And now for the most important thing, the photographs. When I say these photos were amazing, it is no understatement! Although I’ve only received our previews, I am so in love with them. I have received so many compliments on our photographs and it’s no surprise, these two are talented!! Their vision and attention to detail really shined through and I could not be any happier that we selected them and that they agreed to work with us!
Erica and Miguel were incredible to work with. They were kind, helpful, and gave great direction to make our photos look perfect and natural. They consistently went above and beyon...
d on our wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough. They made taking wedding photos so much fun, and we have a huge variety of shots that capture all the exciting and intimate moments of a wedding. You will be in good hands with Erica and Miguel at the wheel. We love our wedding photos and will cherish them forever.
We had an incredible experience working with Erica and Miguel for our wedding last year! They are so kind and professional, and immediately made us feel at ease with being in front...
of the camera. From our first conversation with them we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding - and we are so glad they did! Erica was very communicative throughout the whole planning process and we always knew we were in good hands. The photos they took were stunning (both for our engagement photos and wedding photos) and we can't wait to look back at them through the years. Erica and Miguel are an amazing team and we cannot recommend them enough!

to gather all the important details to have the day of the event. They’re really down to earth photographers & I can’t wait to be able to work with them again!
Erica was the absolute best!! I had reached out to her about 2 months prior to our city hall ceremony which is pretty last minute and she was able to accommodate our date and time....
My fiance and I wanted someone to capture portraits at the beautiful San Francisco City Hall and Erica was able to capture all of our wonderful moments perfectly. This was our first time getting professional photos taken of us so we were nervous about what poses to do. She guides you in all of your poses so you don't have to worry about that part at all. She also captures some of your candid moments which are so great to look back on. She made the entire photoshoot so much fun! After we received our edited photo gallery, we were soooooo impressed by all of the photos. She has a light and airy feel to her editing which was exactly what I was looking for. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Erica.
If you're on the fence, I say bite the bullet and hire Erica! I 100% recommend Erica for all of your wedding photographer needs!! You won't be disappointed!
Erica and Miguel are seriously the best! Me and my husband had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and they were very flexible and accommodating! We finally got to celebrate this...
summer and having Erica and Miguel there was a top priority for us! They made us feel at ease while taking wedding photos, are thoughtful in taking the photos! You spend so much time with your photographers on your wedding day, so I would really suggest finding someone you feel comfortable with. Me and my husband reflected on our wedding day and were soooo happy that we had Erica and Miguel by our side! After we received our photos we were over the moon with them! We loved that there a great mixture of candid photos, posed formal photos, and some that looked so relaxed and natural. Erica and Miguel, thank you so much for being so awesome! We look forward to working with you in the future!!!

a calming presence amidst the chaos of the wedding. They are incredibly professional and take their jobs seriously, they went out of their way to scope out the engagement shoot location and the wedding location beforehand to ensure we got the best photos. They were also so patient with all of our questions (we had a lot!) and put us at ease during the photo sessions, which really helped me and my husband look more natural in our photos!
In addition to their wonderful personalities, their photographs of our wedding are absolutely stunning. We have already referred them to several friends with upcoming weddings and have received so many compliments on our photos. Thank you so much, Erica and Miguel, for capturing our special day!!!
Erica and Miguel are AMAZING ! We hired them for our engagement and wedding photos and we are incredibly happy with the pictures. We were not planning on doing an engagement shoot ...
but are so happy we did because it gave us a chance to get to know them and get in front of the camera before the wedding. They are both very professional, nice and have a great sense of humor. I really wanted to hire a photographer that could take good still photos but also capture great candids. We could not be happier and highly recommend Erica and Miguel !
We were so lucky to hire Erica (and Miguel) to be our wedding photographers. We originally booked with them back in 2019 for our Sept. 2020 wedding and had to reschedule due to COV...
ID but Erica was amazing and so understanding throughout the whole process and we were able to move our booking to be for our new date in 2021 and we had them come photograph our small ceremony in 2020 as well. They are such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, so friendly and easy to talk with, and can make anyone feel at ease in front of the camera, even my husband who doesn't like having his picture taken. All of our pictures from engagement shoot, to small ceremony, to main event this year have turned out beautifully! I would recommend Erica to anyone looking for a photographer, I look forward to having more life events captured by her going forward!
We had our wedding this past June 2021 and we booked with Erica back in 2019 for our wedding that was supposed to occur in June 2020. Due to COVID, we had to postpone. During a tim...
e that was extremely emotional and unbelievably stressful, Erica provided flexibility along with a very warm and welcoming personality that kept my husband and I at ease. From our engagement shoot where she was incredibly creative and willing to travel/stay longer than we originally anticipated to get the perfect sunset photos to being communicative beyond the day of our wedding; Erica has been amazing! We plan on continuing to book with her for all our future family photo shoots and highly recommend her to anyone looking for more than just a wedding photographer but also a fun and friendly personality present on your wedding day. She always goes above and beyond to get the perfect shots that truly capture all the emotions, joy, and fun we are experiencing in those big moments of our lives.

t Erica was available. Due to the pandemic we had to scale down our wedding to a backyard celebration. I was a bit concerned about how the lighting and shadows from our fence and pergola would affect the pictures on the day, but Erica and Miguel assured me that they would work through it. On the day of the wedding, Erica and Miguel were super detailed and thorough, making sure they captured all the photos we had asked for. Being a team of two really helped because they were able to work through the tricky lighting to capture some really amazing pictures! They were so nice, easy going, and great to work with - a truly dynamic duo. Our pictures were not only beautiful, but they were able to capture the warmth, love and happiness of the day. Every time I look at my pictures, I feel as though I am reliving our special day! Erica and Miguel, we are so lucky to have worked with you and we are so incredibly grateful that you were there to capture our wedding. Thank you for our beautiful pictures that we will cherish forever!

caring and helped us define exactly what is was we wanted covered for our low key occasion. They put everything they had into making sure they captured our day in a thoughtful & meaningful way. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special and giving us such beautiful photos to share with family and friends. We will be forever grateful!

ay 30, 2020. I was overwhelmed with everything going on about the pandemic and rescheduling dates (for who knows when) that I thought for a moment that my husband and I were not going to be able to have our special day captured. However, Erica made sure that if she could be there for us she would (safely following regulations of course). Although only my immediate family was present, my wedding was perfect! And the pictures Erica and Miguel captured will be a memory we will forever be able to look back to. I look forward to having Erica and Miguel capture our vow renewal ceremony and reception, when all our loved ones will be able to be present and I can’t wait to have those amazing pictures taken! Thank you Erica and Miguel for your professionalism, your dedication to your work, and for making couples feel comfortable. We really appreciate your work and the love you put into it
March 8, 2020 was an overcast and breezy day in San Francisco, but nothing was going to damper our marital spirits, particularly with Erica and Miguel putting in 110% for over 12 h...
ours. When you talk about wedding vendors going above and beyond, Erica Vernis (and her husband Miguel) are the exemplars. They blended perfectly into our wedding party and kept us happy and in good spirits the entire day. And, after only having done one professional shoot before this, they made sure we were comfortable with the process, and honestly, they made the process of these pictures so seamless and fun. We never once felt like we were out of place or not looked after in their hands. Furthermore, they split themselves up and went to multiple venues throughout the day to make sure every part of our wedding was covered, particularly when my bride and I were in separate places getting ready. We cannot recommend Erica enough and would love to work with them again the future. Can we also rave about the quality of the pictures? Talk about perfect shots in a massive album that we will look back on the rest of our lives.
Erica was unfortunately already booked on our wedding date, however she gave us a list of other photographers that she recommended. While it seems like a small gesture most folks j...
ust say they can't make it and that's that. If she's that kind to couples she can't work with, I'm sure she'd be great to the ones she can!
Erica and Miguel are amazing photographers who also happen to be really down-to-earth awesome people! We did our engagement and wedding pictures with them and could not have been m...
ore pleased! Erica was prompt with her responses via email (always appreciated when you’re planning a wedding) and was extremely helpful with figuring out logistics, such as suggesting a location and attire for the engagement shoot and providing us with a sample timeline for the wedding. During the engagement shoot, she showed us poses that we’d do on the big day so that we’d feel more comfortable, which ended up being so helpful! Erica had never been to our venue before, so she came to see it during our rehearsal so that we could walk through the logistics together. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how Erica and Miguel made everyone feel so comfortable the entire night. We just received our wedding pictures (on the exact day she’d promised she’d send them) and we can’t stop looking at them!!! They are simply beautiful. Somehow they caught every special moment, big and small. Erica’s style of light and airy photography was what caught my attention at the start and I am so thrilled to see our day reflected through her talented eye! Book Erica Vernis Photography right now! You will not regret it!

ort, advice, and guidance. They bring professionalism and talent in every aspect of their work. Not only that, they went above and beyond capturing our wedding and engagement sessions. My husband and I truly value Erica and Miguel’s work and the friendships that we have gained. Aside from capturing incredible photos, they are the most generous and down to earth couple to hang out with. They believe in building friendships with their clients which is an extra plus! We enjoyed every moment spent with them and would highly recommend their wedding services to anyone who is in need of wedding photography.

ick to respond and so sweet to work with. We loved our shoot with her too! Seriously, she was so kind, patient, and worked with us to bring our dream to life. Oh, and did we mention the photos are INCREDIBLE?! We're so thankful we chose her to be our photographer and would choose her again and again! Do yourself a huge favor and hire her for your wedding or session!
