About this vendor
Over the last 15 years, I've learned that human-to-human connection is vital to creating an environment where you feel completely free to embrace your experience.
As if the rest of the world has fallen away into the background. And just you and the ones you love are left.
As we work together, I'll seek ways to listen, understand, and support you - as a whole person - not just another client who is getting married. And I'll check in to see how wedding planning and life are going.
In turn, you'll feel encouraged, cared for, and at ease.
Come wedding day, I'll make space for your moments to unfold naturally.
And I'll encourage you to take it all in.

Oh my, where do I start.... So, the photographer was a 'high priority' for our wedding. We wanted to have a photographer that we thoroughly enjoyed their work and not just 'anyone'...
to snap some pictures of our wedding. WE FOUND HER! Erika is great, in so many ways. Not only is she talented, she's the person you want to be friends with and hope you run into on the street and say hello.
We met and booked her time in 2019 for a 2020 wedding, she flew to our home in CO for our engagement pictures (which turned out stunning) that fall and then our rescheduled wedding in 2021. She was kind and patient while navigating the craziness of 2020. She even sent wine when we had to cancel our original wedding only a few months before. So thoughtful!
Her photos are beautiful- she really captures the essence of the day. The software/program that she uses for sharing the photos, as well as, payment was the best out of all our vendors. She's professional and clear about expectations. She really facilitated the day's timeline (more than I expected from the Photographer- BUT thankful because it really made the best use of our time that day). Erika provided so many tools to make our day go from 'good' to 'great' and I'm thankful for her experience! I loved her guides and blog posts- they helped us think about what we wanted where I likely would have not known where to start.
Therefore, not only did she capture our day beautifully- she brought all the 'other' important things you might not be thinking about when booking a photographer. Organization, timeliness, flexibility and professionalism.
Check her out- you'll get the best.

y celebrated with us. We chose to work with a smaller budget for our wedding, but we did not skimp on our photography. Choosing Erika Aileen Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!
Erika's work is always very professional, but what sets her apart from the rest is the thoughtful and meaningful experience she provides. It's clear by the way she invests time in ...
her clients that she wants them to have a meaningful experience and anticipates their wants and needs. She makes every step of the process meaningful by providing suggestions for the best experience. For example, when my wife and I got our engagement pictures, Erika suggested we take the rest of the evening to go on a date. Erika captures the most meaningful moments and helps set the tone to create them.

ter. She was so incredibly fun to work with and her authentic kindness made everyone she photographed feel so comfortable and relaxed. She took the time to learn everyones name, and actually remember them. She didn't just say, "hey you, come here". She is intentional about all details and made a busy day stress-free. When my friends and family looked through the photos taken by Erika, they ranted and raved about how every single one of them captured us, our loved ones, and our day perfectly. She BLEW it out of this world and worked her magic in every way. I can't say it enough but what a joy she is to work with both personally and professionally. You want her to take your pictures!

ing day it was 90+ degrees and Erika and Rachelle helped us get our mind off of the heat and back onto what we were there for- GETTING MARRIED! They always made sure that you looked the best- even if it means taking 5 to cool down in the AC or wiping faces mid-photo shoot. I couldn’t imagine using any other photographer for our wedding! Highly recommend!!!!!

e her photograph our destination wedding. She travelled early to the destination, put in every effort to find the best spots to shoot, made the schedule flow so smoothly, and photos turned out amazing. Bonus, she is someone I would be friends with.

ble they felt with her taking photos) Her photography skills are incredible and her vivacious personality made taking our engagement and wedding photos the most wonderful experience. (Just wait until you hear her laugh... its incredible!) Communication with her was great! I had so many questions and she answered them quickly. Erika cares about what you want and will do her BEST to capture every moment. Gosh... I can't think of anything bad with our experience with her. We HIGHLY recommend Erika. She was affordable and the most perfect person to capture our love. You won't be disappointed!
Working with Erika was great! She made the process effortless and ensured we were able to focus on our wedding, while she captured all of the moments for us to remember forever.

After searching wedding websites and tagged wedding photographers on Instagram for countless hours, I finally came across Erika Aileen Photography on Instagram. I loved her work an...
d was thrilled she had availability for our date! The experience literally could have not gone smoother - Erika was so on top of it and communicated regulary throughout the process. I honestly emailed her thanking her for being such "a breath of fresh air" during this stressful wedding planning process. :P On our wedding day (and engagement session), she arrived everywhere she needed to be on time and remembered the little details that so reflected my husband and I.
Based on her portfolio and the engagement photo session (which my husband and I weren't fully on board for but SOO SO happy we did it), I knew I was going to love the final photos, but receiving them was even better than we could have imagine. Words can't express how much we loved our pictures from capturing the bridal party at my parent's lakehouse (yes she travels) :) to our first dance at a winery in South Bend -- all turned out absolutely stunning!
If you are currently on the hunt for a wedding photographer and Erika has the availability, you should stop now and go with her (check it off your list)! I can wholeheartedly recommend Erika Aileen Photography to any bride and definitely recommend adding a seond shooter, for some different angles which ended up being my fave! Sooo worth it!
P.S. It's been a few months and we are still getting compliments on our wedding photos at our family parties/gatherings! The best!
