Erika was wonderful! She is so helpful in the planning process, especially when it comes to creating a photo timeline for your wedding. Erika is very communicative and wants your wedding to be the best it possibly can be for YOU. She takes all of your opinions and concerns into consideration when making suggestions and really cares about her couples. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome and insightful photographer!

Wish I could give bonus stars!!! Erika helped beyond what I had expected or anticipated both leading up to the wedding as well as all throughout our perfect day! She met with us 3 times before the wedding, to go over our ideas, explore the venue and give everyone a run through at the rehearsal! She was wonderfully patient with all the kids we had at our wedding, as well as patient with our grandparents and those in wheelchairs that took extra time getting situated. She is over the top helpful and has a perfect eye with balance and getting the perfect shot! We had rain up until right before the ceremony started, and the sun popped out during our vows….and she got perfect lighting with the switch in weather! She’s so calming and was excited to share our goofy love of life and even got pics of us with an emu!!! She’s the best and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

Erika was the glue that held our day together! From the early stages of planning helping us create a timeline, to the day of being calm and organized. Erika wanted to know all the little details so she could photograph them. She helped myself and my grooms twin plan a fake first look for the groom. Our day was extremely hot, and when we started to get tired and exhausted from photos she was more than understanding to let us cool off. She was very quick and organized when taking family portraits of two huge families. Letting people know who were next so they were ready. After dinner once we cooled off she resumed taking our newlywed portraits. When the night wound down, every single one of my vendors said she was a dream to work with. And I couldn’t agree more. My grandfather took a rapid health decline two weeks before our wedding day, i reached out to her to see if she would be able to take photos in my dress with him. There was no doubt in her mind that she would be able to shoot a few photos for us. Being able to not only display the photos on our wedding day, but her ideas on how to incorporate my grandfather in our day were just beautiful. Things i wouldn’t have thought of myself. We definitely had expectations, and she surpassed anything we could have even dreamed of. Thank you Erika for everything!! You wouldn’t regret booking Erika.

Erika was on time and made sure to help us follow our time line. She captured so many amazing memories of our special day. Most of them we didn’t even realize she was there.

Erika was amazing! Even from the beginning - she helped so much with just planning out details for the wedding and certain things I should look for and venue research, which was a great help especially with having a destination wedding. She always made sure to remind me to pick what I wanted for my wedding and was a champion for what my husband and I were wanting to do. The wedding day itself couldn't have gone any smoother, which was especially possible because of Erika. At her recommendation, we did a first look (which we are so happy we did!) She made sure we got all the family pictures we wanted and especially made sure we got all the newlywed portraits we wanted (which meant driving around for a few hours in a national park, thank you!!). She made sure that the pictures felt natural and like "us". I couldn't recommend Erika enough. Thank you for everything :)

We can't thank Erika enough for capturing our wedding with such beautiful photos. All the pictures feel so natural and honest, whether they're posed or candid shots. She was so professional and fun, and helped us navigate some of the chaos of the day. Can't recommend enough.

Erika was amazing, she saved us that day. We planned a whole wedding and reception in a week and a half after deciding we weren't going to wait post Covid. Erika was very flexible and receptive during the planning process. We had to change the venue last minute due to weather and she didn't skip a beat. She had helpful suggestions for staging and really captured all the pieces I wanted to remember on that day. Over and above what we expected!

I don't even know where to start! First of all, Erika has been a personal friend of mine since high school, and she has done portraits for the two of us, as well as family portraits and even product photography for my small biz, so it was a clear choice that we would choose Erika to capture our wedding day! Erika and I have been talking about wedding plans for years (my now husband and I got married on our 12 year anniversary). She's always kept her eyes open for possible venues for us. She had so many that fit the bill of what we were looking for. We decided to get married on our 12 year anniversary, and unfortunately many of them didn't have our date open (we had a pretty short planning period, so it was understandable). We ended up finding a venue up in Cleveland, and Erika was open to making the journey up to us there. Erika was integral in the planning process and came up with a timeline for us that included everything we wanted (and nothing that we didn't want). It ended up getting tweaked several times before our wedding, and Erika was very accommodating to any changes we had made, even up to the day of. She was very clear that it was OUR day, and if something needed to change, she would work with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. She also helped me stay calm and made sure that I relaxed and stayed hydrated day of :) Wedding day was definitely a whirlwind, so the reminders were helpful! I especially loved that Erika had packages available, and we were able to pick one out with both our engagement photos and wedding photos, as well as some albums, which she also helped walk us through. These prints will be better than any drugstore prints, as they are printed on very high quality paper. We gifted mini albums to our parents, and they are very excited to receive them :) I am so excited to get our photos back! I can't wait to see them! We received several compliments from guests on Erika's professionalism and how comfortable she made them feel in front of the camera. I would definitely recommend her (and do every chance I get!) to any couple looking to book a photographer for their wedding, engagement session, family portraits, maternity portraits, surprise proposal - anything!

Erika was a delight and a half to work with! Overall: 1. Erika's services include the rights to your photos. Once she makes them available to you, they're yours to do with as you please. 2. Every photo that she provided to us (50-ish engagement, 250-ish wedding) was professional quality. 3. She makes the photos available for download on her website (password protected and only visible only to you), but she also dropped off USB drives of our photos at our door. 4. She is one of only a handful of wedding photographers in Central Ohio that explicitly states that they are LGBT-friendly. 5. She is knowledgeable and seems to genuinely enjoy what she does. Engagement Photos: 1. My husband and I didn't know where to get our engagement photos taken. Erika suggested multiple locations that she had experience with, and she walked us from location to location. She had a checklist of locations/poses and she went through every one of them. 2. The turnaround on engagement photos was less than two weeks, and we were provided with about 50 photos to choose from. Wedding Photos 1. Erika captured every good moment from the evening. I don't know how she snuck around everywhere and got all of those shots, but I love it! 2. We weren't sure what combinations of people should be photographed together before/after the wedding. Erika arrived with a list and also added a couple of suggested combinations. It was a good idea. 3. She was familiar with our venue (Whetstone Park of Roses). Her knowledge kept everyone on track for the formal photos, and got everyone back to dancing and celebrating as quickly as possible. 4. Erika suggested sunset photos at the park. Those photos turned out to be my favorite photos of the day. The lighting was low and she captured the warmth very well. 5. The turnaround on photos was approximately one month. For the number and quality of photos we received, this was more than reasonable.

Erika was amazing from the first moment we met her at an LGBT wedding expo. She is professional, down to earth and helped keep our day organized and as stress free as possible. Do not hesitate booking Erika :-)

My husband and I cannot rave enough about our experience with Erika for our wedding. I have been lucky enough to know her personally for a few years, so when it came time to look for a photographer, Erika was a no-brainer. From the get-go she was beyond professional and easy to work with . We met with her several times to go over what we were envisioning and to discuss setting up our engagement session. During the planning sessions, she was more than helpful and offered advice on the structure for the wedding day and the timeline for events, which was beyond appreciated. In the time leading up to both the engagement session and the wedding, Erika sent us regular communications with updates and reminders, and continuously asked for our input for all decisions. My husband and I got married in Cleveland, and Erika was more than willing to travel to be there, and even made it up for the rehearsal so that she could get to know the venue as she had not shot there before, and wanted to be acquainted with the space before the big day. On the day of our wedding, she helped us keep to our timeline both leading up to the ceremony, and during the hour and a half we had to get shots around the city between the ceremony and reception. It was a tight schedule, but she was able to wrangle our 14 person wedding party to several locations during that time, and we got some amazing shots. Without her guidance, the day would certainly not have gone so smoothly. For both the engagement session and the ceremony photos, she provided us with a few preview shots within several days, and was able to send us our complete gallery within a few weeks. As for the pictures themselves, we are so in love with how they came out. The detail and care she took to capture and edit each shot are evident and we are so thankful that we have these pictures to remember our wedding. We would sincerely recommend Erika to anyone looking for a photographer as she went above and beyond to provide the best possible experience and final product. She is the best!

Erika is a wonderful photographer and person. She helped us feel more comfortable taking photos, something we were nervous about, by including an engagement shoot with our wedding photography package. She is a consummate professional with a warm touch, and her photographs are beautiful. We enjoyed having her as part of our wedding day!

My husband and I cannot say enough thanks to the amazing work that Erika did for us. We did our engagement and wedding photos with her and were blow away by the photos. Our unique style was captured through her work. She is flexible and willing to try different ideas. I couldn't believe how quick her turn around time was with all of the photos! I cannot begin to express how amazing Erika was! Erika shot our wedding 9 months pregnant and even though we kept encouraging her to take a rest, she wouldn't. She was adamant about capturing every moment. And the pictures were everything that I could hope for and more- and there are so many photographs! Our wedding would not have been the same without Erika.

I have to first start by saying I was more than nervous about having pictures taken. My (new!) husband and I are quirky and silly and weird and I thought there was no way anyone could get a good picture with his eyes open and me on any side(but my good one! ) Boy was I wrong. Erika was quick and organized, communicative and fun, and really listened and understood my fears and made everything work for us. I am more than happy with all our shots (even my not-good side ones!) and I have been raving to everyone about how fantastic she was. Although I dont have to rave far, as most of my friends and family are finding their own amazing things to say. I cannot wait for my next professional photo opportunity to work with Erika again. We loved working with Erika on our engagement and wedding photographs. She was a real professional and her turn around time for photos was very quick in my opinion. Our wedding was extremely small and intimate. Erika didn't just take great care in her attention to detail and captured moments we may have missed, she truly became part of our family. She blended in seamlessly and made the experience one where we could focus on the one thing we were there for, love. We've gone back to Erika over the years for family photos as well, as our family has grown.
