When we first contacted her, she suggested meeting up to discuss her plans and the type of aesthetic we were going for, which was a great help. It was clear from her varied portfolio and experience as a photojournalist that she could capture those elusive magical moments and some great candids, so we booked an eight hour session as well as an engagement shoot. We highly recommend the engagement shoot - it gave a good opportunity to practice being in front of the camera together, and she arranged some of our favorite photos into a very reasonably priced guest book. Erika was very responsive in the time leading up to the wedding, and was the MVP on the day of our wedding - from fixing boutonnieres to helping us mind bouquets.

hy was spending too much time posing for pictures or having to worry about every little detail. They understood that and worked with us to get all the essential formal pictures done as smoothly as possible so we could enjoy the party. They did a great job of capturing the energy of the event and were able to roll with our very flexible (aka disorganized) approach to wedding planning. Their attention to detail in the weeks leading up to the wedding helped me to focus and schedule all the last minute details. They also put together a lovely video of the wedding, which we are so happy to have! I would definitely recommend them to friends (and already have!).
